Little Tokyo in Leeds

After revisiting little Tokyo, I am pleasantly surprised to feel most welcome at the establishment in fact I try to go as much as possible it is my favorite restaurant and they now have a loyalty card! this is definitely what I would call a gem, come here its awesome and get the BBQ rib bento its to die for.

I was craving for sushi and bento and came across Little Tokyo in Leeds. First time visiting the restaurant and boy, we came back with tummies happy and satisfied! The restaurant is very conveniently located at the heart of the city, near to the train and bus station. Recommend to make a reservation in advance. We didn’t have a table booked but they were kind enough to offer us seats in sometime. Traditional Japanese decor, very cosy and soothing ambience associated with a wonderful service. We ordered Takoyaki, miso shi ru for starters and had the sashimi bento and special ramen for the mains! Good portions, very satisfied with the food! Miso shi ru was very refreshing, bento was so beautifully presented with a floral presentation of the sashimi. I love a good presentation and the bento box was a 10/10 Over and all, had a wonderful dining experience. Will come back soon!

I ordered the tofu bento box and it was quite bland and one of the tempura vegetables was raw and when we told the waitress this she just apologised but nothing was knocked off the bill for this inconvenience and we both ordered soft drinks

Food was OK. Octopus balls (x6) only 1 had any Octopus in it. Ribs were nice. Had Bento box set, rice was not good, more dry than sticky tba, do not believe it was fresh. Curry was fine, nothing amazing though. No atmosphere, they sat us practically in the doorway, everyone else was round the corner, so no idea why they did that. Service was fine, but they were not busy. Toilets needed a really good clean, no excuse for that at all. I've been quite a few times before and thought it was much better in the past. I won't be rushing back, so many really good places to eat in Leeds these days.

Mi gyoza si se les puede llamar que tenían envolturas gruesas sin cocinar, tuve un bocado y no pude comer más. La tempura era grasienta y con mala textura, las brochetas de pollo sabían a pollo de mala calidad, y todos los dips eran vinagreros y sabían mal El takoyaki era transitable pero aún así la calidad del sol Lo único bueno de este lugar era nuestro camarero y el ambiente

Amazing food, big portions, good vibe and nice servers, all round lovely place

Well this has really gone down hill. This used to be the best Japanese restaurant in leeds and they served the best sushi in the north, but ever since a management change a few years back, this place has just nosedived. Went again after so long and thought I'd give it another chance but the duck and mango bento (which was my favourite thing) was atrocious... Hard, dried up, dehydrated duck of all the worst bits in a mango sauce. It used to be actual duck prepared on site and sliced meat right, with the crunchy skin. It used to be delicious. And as if the food being bad was the end of it. No. We were asked to pay our bill while we were eating and then as soon as we finished, a quick wisk of the table and a reminder that they're closed (it just turned 10)... And I hadn't even finished my drink! And then the staff just stood and glared to make sure you got the message. You get better service getting the food as a takeaway. Won't be going in person ever again.

A solid and reliable option for Japanese food in Leeds city centre. I usually go for a bento box which offers a good portion side and selection of food options. I also like the unique drinks options. Service is always polite, friendly and attentive. The decor is quite unique and is a change from the usual visual templates. This may not be high end Japanese food but is a very good option for the price range and location.

Como clientes habituales, venimos a Little Tokyo y a menudo pedimos los mismos artículos del menú, ya que los disfrutamos tanto. Sin embargo, la experiencia de esta noche fue absolutamente increíble! De mala manera. Pedimos nuestras bebidas y miramos el menú. Se nos pidió que ordenáramos y queríamos tener algunas frituras de langostino real (en lugar de Ebi Katsu, ya que queríamos tempura en lugar de pan rallado) como entrada. Nos dijeron que esto no era posible, ya que tendrían que cambiar el precio para nosotros en la factura, a pesar de que lo habíamos hecho antes en visitas anteriores. Dijimos que estaba bien, pero la camarera se quedó ahí. Entonces dijimos que necesitaríamos más tiempo ya que nuestras órdenes ahora necesitarían cambiar. Mientras esperábamos nuestros entrantes, notamos la suciedad en los zócalos. Mi hermana usó su servilleta y lo cubrió todo. En menos de 5 minutos, nos dieron la orden equivocada, y se tardó 3 miembros del personal en venir y quitar la comida que no era nuestra dejando los gyozas (sin embargo, nos quedamos inseguros si estos eran nuestros!). Las gyozas de champiñones estaban duras y secas y teníamos una cucharada de salsa de soja. Pedí más salsa de soja y lo que salió no era salsa de soja, era agua marrón! Me quejé y me dijeron que el chef se disculpó porque no nos habían dado la salsa correcta. La segunda salsa que recibimos una vez más era simplemente acuosa y no sabía nada como salsa de soja. El bollo de Bao que vino después tenía el más pequeño trozo de tofu en el que ni siquiera llenó una cuarta parte del bollo. Estábamos muy decepcionados, pero optimistas por nuestra red principal que son cajas de Bentos que siempre tenemos. Luego recibimos nuestros principales que ambos siempre pedimos cuando visitamos Little Tokyo, ya que son nuestros favoritos. Una de las principales razones por las que seguimos volviendo a Little Tokyo es por el aderezo de jengibre. Esto era inexistente en nuestra ensalada, de nuevo era simplemente aguada. Las verduras de tempura se cocinaron por fuera, pero por dentro solo son puré y pasta. Terminamos comiendo las gambas y el pollo, pero el resto era de muy mala calidad. Sin preguntar si habíamos acabado con la misma jovencita, vine y despejé la caja de mis hermanas Bento sin preguntar si había terminado (estaba casi llena todavía). La mía quedó hasta que pedí hablar con un gerente. Le expliqué todas las cuestiones, pero me dijeron que esperara mientras él se iba a otra mesa para que pagaran. Una vez que vino le avisé de todos los problemas que teníamos y se disculpó. Luego nos dejaron 15 minutos, antes de que tuviera que pedirle a alguien que volviera. Aconsejó que quitaría el bollo de bao y nos daría 10% de descuento. Le dije que no estaba contento con esto y él dijo que estaba bien y se fue. De nuevo nos quedamos y nadie volvió a la mesa hasta que pregunté de nuevo! Pagamos la cuenta y pedí los detalles del gerente ya que quería hacer una queja. Luego les tomó otros 15 minutos escribir esta dirección de correo electrónico. ¡Que resultó ser la dirección de correo electrónico del anillo cuando esto se recuperó! Estamos tan decepcionados ya que este no es solo nuestro restaurante favorito, sino también nuestra familia y amigos.

The food was quite bland. The chicken in the ramen wasn't seasoned at all and the noodles looked like instant noodles. We asked for the starters to come separate to the mains and they came within a few minutes of each other at most whilst we were still eating the starter. My partner was very ill within a few hours of our visit. I liked the decor in there but won't be visiting again.

Never order ramen here. The ramen at this restaurant was disappointing. The noodles were overly soft, lacking the desired firmness, and the flavor fell flat. Been to Little Tokyo so many times and it never disappoints. Staff are so lovely and attentive. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The food is insanely delicious. Their gyozas are the biggest I’ve ever seen! Also if you go for your birthday they’ll do a really lovely celebration for you.

Awful just awful. Main course was chicken curry. Greasy overcooked chicken I what I presume was breadcrumbs. Iceland basics would have been better. Four wilted leaves of something and luke warm soggy fat noodles. Starter was greasy deep fry. They didn’t even remember our order. I shouldn’t have paid. Worst meal I have ever had. They were not even anywhere near busy. If you want a horror story go to the downstairs lavatories they are in what looks like a rat infested alley outside Sake was nice. DO NOT GO

I've known this place since it was established. I was most disappointed to see how the food has slipped in standard and quantity lately Price has gone up and ingredients has even reduced or substituted and resembles some very poor quality non "Japanese" food. Insult to the Japanese. Please revert to the near original or clise down.

I’m so happy I introduced my father to this place. The bento box has a bit of everything. We both have small appetites which means it has a plentiful variety. There is salad, then fruit slices, the protein of choice with either chips or rice. Tempura vegetables and a dipping sauce. All fresh tasty and colourful. The mojito was yummy. Will definitely be going back.,

We went for a group dinner on a Friday evening. Place was full but we didn’t have any difficulty finding our spot due to prior reservation. Cosy ambiance with Japanese vibes. They’ve got a small pond kind if thing with many fishes in the restaurant along with sakura trees and other lovely decorations. Food was good but the taste could’ve been better. Quantity was perfect as well

The price of the food is good. I’ve ordered Takoyaki and Dancing Salmon and did not disappoint me. The service is top notch. Would definitely visit again when im at Leeds.

Food is always nice aside from its hard to enjoy it with the smell of dirty pond water filled with poor fish that are so miserable they don’t even swim they just lay on the floor facing the corner, the pond is not big enough and these fish are neglected - these are animals not a decorative show piece. It’s really sad to see, we were frequent customers but based on this factor we’ve decided we won’t be coming back again.

This place used to be so delicious, I used to come here on dates and nice meals and then I went once recently and ordered the ramen and it was so bad I couldn’t eat more than a couple mouthfuls. Thinking it must have been a fluke or maybe they were really busy, I went again a few weeks later and this time ordered the Katsu thinking it would be hard to be disappointed with that. The chicken literally tasted like deep fried frozen supermarket chicken, it wasn’t crispy and it was dry and tasted like cardboard. The Katsu sauce was stodgy and tasted oddly sour like it had been sat on the side for a day? And then the rice was just over cooked and wet and really bad quality?? How do you mess up rice in a Japanese restaurant? It was honestly shocking, specially considering how good this used to be and the fact that it’s gotten more expensive. The staff were lovely but I thought the food was really really shocking.

El restaurante estaba tenuemente iluminado, lo que hizo increíblemente difícil leer el menú y navegar desde la entrada a la mesa. Como persona con discapacidad visual y legalmente ciega esto fue extremadamente alarmante e influiría en mi decisión de cenar aquí de nuevo. Además, no hay retretes para minusválidos. . no solo es ilegal que una persona con discapacidad pueda comer en un restaurante sin retretes accesibles. La comida era de mala calidad. Las verduras rebozadas en tempura eran grasientas, las rebozadas empapadas debido a que se cocinaban en aceite que no estaba lo suficientemente caliente. El arroz no era fresco, estaba agrupado y seco y duro en partes. Todas las tangas consideraron que no recomendaría este restaurante y no volveré a visitarlo. Muy decepcionante

Really enjoyed our dinner here tonight! I had the chicken curry, which was absolutely delicious, and the raspberry still lemonade which was also amazing! Staff were very friendly and good service. Would definitely recommend!

I went with my partner and six others. The service was quick, but there were a few issues. I ordered the eel bento box, but the eel with the sauce was extremely salty, even with rice. I considered complaining, but they were busy, and there were multiple mistakes. Saltiest grilled eel I’ve so far ordered which is what I would usually order at a Japanese Restaurant. My partner ordered the sirloin steak dish and requested it medium rare. It arrived well done, so he sent it back, but the replacement was also well done - disappointing. One of our friends ordered a bento box and asked for angry fries instead of rice, but it still came with rice. On the positive side, the raspberry lemonade was delicious and staff were friendly. Would I return? Maybe.

Little Tokyo es un lugar escondido en Leeds que rezuma atmósfera. Con la gran cantidad de decoración y el diseño del edificio, es un lugar muy emocionante y vibrante. Para colmo, el restaurante incluso tiene un estanque de peces y un puente que está justo al lado. Hasta ahora, de todos los lugares en los que he estado, el ambiente y la disposición del lugar es increíble. En cuanto a la comida, fueron resultados más dispares. Pedí uno de mis favoritos, Takoyaki, que vino como se esperaba y fue generalmente agradable, no el mejor que he tenido, pero todavía decente, probablemente el Takoyaki más barato que he tenido, sin embargo, así que no puedo quejarme. Mi compañero pidió el cangrejo Tempura. Sabía lo suficientemente decente, nada de lo que escribir en casa. Got the chilli chicken ramen and it was one of the worst foods I’ve had. It had a random tripe and a boiled pickle in it for some reason. It was flat and it was as if the restaurant didn’t know what salt was. Just spice and no flavour. The takoyaki also tasted of burnt oil like very old oil. My stomach is hurting now

Atmosphere was ok, but not perfect. Food wasn't great. Few couples hot starters was good and taste, but rainbow rolls was like with frozen fish. Next time i hope it will be fresh.

Poor quality food, i would not recommend eating here. The only positive point was that the staff accepted our complaints and removed the items from the bill. We left the restaurant hungry as hardly any of it was edible, unfortunately.

Loved this place for years and it is just as good as it has always been. I can't recommend the Benton boxes enough and there isn't a bad dish on the menu. It has an amazing atmosphere and is really warm and welcoming. If you want somewhere good to eat you won't find many places in Leeds better. Edit. Revisited 31.12.24. Not only was the food incredible again but the service was top notch too. We visited with our kids and they were happy to help out to make sure the kids got what they wanted and nothing was a problem. Excellent restaurant, could not recommend enough.

Little Tokyo is literally one of the "best kept secrets" in Leeds. I have been eating out here for about 20yrs, loved it when I lived in the town centre & would get take out for my lunch, but love it even more when we can treat ourselves & actually go to the restaurant to eat. The service is always good & the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. I would recommend Little Tokyo to anyone who loves hearty Japanese food at good prices. We go often, at least once a month & for two of us with starters, bento boxes, & drinks, usually got costs not much more than £50. It always surprises me when people who apparently like "authentic" Japanese food have never heard of Little Tokyo! More people need to experience this fantastic restaurant instead of going to the big chain restaurants like Wagamamas & the like, where the food isn't as authentic & costs way too much for what you actually get. Little Tokyo all the way. Never had a bad dining out experience here.

It's amazing. This Japanese restaurant is really delicious. I have been in Japan so many times and this restaurant makes me feel like I'm in Japan.

The setting, atmosphere and staff were all amazing. We shared a vegetarian starter which came out almost instantly and didn’t taste that fresh. The tofu and vegan chicken were great but the rest of the food was average. Before we had finished the starter both of our mains were brought out which made us both feel a little rushed and less relaxed. I’m not sure why they did this as the restaurant wasn’t full and we couldn’t see any need to rush food out. I had the special ramen, which was decent. My wife had the salmon bento box which was good but nothing outstanding. The staff were very polite and attentive, just some items which we ate and the speed of food coming out let the meal down.

Ordered sashimi (full portion) for delivery twice, and the second time, the portion was way smaller—almost half size of the first. It looked full, but it was just stuffed with lettuce. Food tastes good, but the RESTAURANT is really DISHONEST.

Finding lunch time zen in Leeds city centre. I popped into Little Tokyo in Leeds for a lunchtime visit, and it was such a wonderful experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly happy and friendly, making me feel welcome right away. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. There’s a great variety on the menu, and everything felt like excellent value for money. For the quality and portion sizes, the prices are fantastic. I can't recommend the beef bento box enough! The relaxed atmosphere made it the perfect spot to enjoy a break in the middle of the day. I’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend Little Tokyo to anyone looking for great food, warm service, and a great lunchtime treat. My one criticism would be that the spicy Ramen could do with kicking things up a notch. When something says spicy I really want that heat. Especially in the winter you know? But sitting there after a great lunch with a really lovely coffee. That Christmas shopping chaos just melts away. Definitely worth a visit for anyone looking to find a bit of peace and a fantastic meal.

I recently discovered Little Tokyo in the summer and was pleasantly surprised! My friend and I were looking for something different to try when visiting from away and we're now that impressed we will continue to book future visits. We visited again this weekend and it's still so great. The staff are very friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The vegan duck bento box was absolutely delicious, offering a delightful mix of flavors. I was particularly impressed by the homemade drinks and sorbet, which were both refreshing and unique. And the ice bowl for the sorbet was a fun and innovative touch! If you're looking for a cozy and authentic Japanese dining experience in Leeds, I highly recommend giving Little Tokyo a try.

Ok. Bento box was deep fried vegetable , with steak that was fairly well cooked. One of my friends had raw chicken and sent it back. They gave us a 10% NHS discount and the atmosphere was nice , though service slightly slow.

Yes, yes, and yes, cam there for my birthday with friends and it did not disappoint, the food 10/10, the everything 10/10, the decoration and overall scenery was just perfect, not stuffy either even though we were sat downstairs, they even have a little pond with koi fish. Highly recommended. ATEEEE

I recently visited Little Tokyo in Leeds and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The atmosphere was lackluster, with a tired and dated interior that didn’t reflect the quality I was expecting. The service was slow, and the staff didn’t seem particularly attentive or friendly. We had to wait a long time to even place our order, and when the food finally arrived, it was underwhelming at best. The bento and ramen were bland, and the portions were small for the price. Overall, the quality just didn’t justify the cost. Given all the other great options in the area, I won’t be returning.

This is the 3rd time of dining at Little Tokyo and every visit has been simply amazing. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They make us feel welcome every time. The decoration is really nice and welcoming with lovely coy fish in a pond in the middle of the restaurant Me and my partner got a tofu bento box each. Absolutely delicious and filling. The food was wonderful. However the speed of service was disappointing. Also the restaurant was in need of cleaning, lots of cobwebs all over the restaurant and many spiders crawling around.

Avoid here especially if you are on a business trip. This restaurant doesn’t provide invoice or bill. They are not also responding to emails.

Do not go here if you are a large group - Came as a group of 10 for 6pm on the 28th January and booked in advance, I was told to make the night easier to pre book and send it to the email address for little tokyo so I did. I chased all my friends for pre-orders sent an organised email of what every couple wanted. We get there at 6 and get asked what we want to eat, I said we pre ordered and they clearly did not check the emails and log this as the waitress had to take my phone and write the orders from my phone down. After this we order drinks, Some drinks don't arrive so we are chasing drinks by this time we have been at the restaurant 45 Minutes and not even had a full table of drinks, at 7pm the waitress comes up to us and asks are we ready for mains which we reply we have not even had starters yet, she chased the kitchen and the kitchen marked it down as we already received our starters. By 7:15 we received some mains, some of these wrong and sent back then cancelled some starters as we had booked something at 8:15 and did not want to be late. We ask for the bill and receive it and with card machine issues did not get out of little tokyo until 8:30. We was offered Sake as an apology but most the table are non alcoholics so this did not help at all. This was actually for my partners birthday so I cannot say how disappointed I am. The food was good when it came that is the only positive. The bill coming to 260 to be treated like that .

Decoración del restaurante bien, el personal todo agradable aunque ligera barrera lingüística. Pretenden abastecerse de una oferta sin gluten pero pobre. Una opción de caja bento, además de otros dos platos de todo el menú. La caja de bento que tuve echa de menos la verdura tempura y el único sustituto es más arroz o más ensalada que es solo un poco de lechuga iceberg con tira de pimienta y cebolla. Opté por arroz extra en mi caja de pollo bento y tanto el arroz como el pollo estaban fríos. No estaba seguro de si era cómo estaba destinado a ser servido, cuestionado en la caja y aconsejado que estaba destinado a ser caliente, así que no solo estoy preocupado ahora por la intoxicación alimentaria, también estoy molesto por pagar £ 16. 99 para la caja de Bento que era peor que la media. El miembro del personal ofreció una disculpa leve y dijo que aconsejaría cocina y me dio un 10% de descuento en mi comida que solo tomó poco más de £ 3 de la cuenta, así que todavía pagando alrededor de £ 13. 50 para una ofrenda fría y pobre. Amazing food as always. My favourite restaurant in Leeds. The bento box was unreal as always.

I take my daughters to little Tokyo every Sunday and we are always served as it was our very first time...amazing food..Great atmosphere and the service of every single employee is amazing. However La Min has been there since our first time visiting the place and always is so patient and lovely with my kids...very kind and always concerned about our satisfaction. Thanks Little Tokyo... Amazing food. Best sushi and gyoza.

Comida promedio. Tenía entrante mixto que parecía y sabía como una bolsa de aperitivos japoneses comprados en la tienda acababa de ser frito. Los fideos eran agradables para la principal. El servicio era muy amable, pero principal fue traído muy rápido, así que me sentí apresurado.

Had the ramen, the noodles and the meat was nice, but the soup was a bit bland.

Went for the first time so wasn’t sure what to expect. Had been told it was lovely. Must have changed hands since because the place was ok but not the most welcoming. The waitress was nice and polite. It was very cold inside. They have a fish pond inside that looked a bit dull with murky water. That wasn’t a good sign. My friend and I placed our order and it was served within ten minutes. Chicken and noodles with their own specially made curry sauce. Wasn’t impressed with the look and it tasted how it looked but was served on a cold plate meaning by the time I got half way through it was all cold. I even had to put my coat back on. A waste of £60 really but I guess you don’t know if you don’t try. However I won’t be trying there again.

I absolutely love it here always have a fantastic experience. The menu is great with loads of choice but not so much it’s overwhelming. Plenty to choose from for Vegans and Vegetarians too and you certainly don’t feel like you miss out. The food and service is always incredible here

I came to dine in at 9:20 but the staff at reception said that the kitchen closed. It’s so terrible service. Why the restaurant shows on the website that it will close at 10pm??? So disappointed!!!!!

Pasé por primera vez, de admirar la decoración del restaurante y la cocina. Me temo que fue una verdadera decepción. Me encanta el puente y la característica de pescado. El restaurante estaba prácticamente vacío. Nos sentamos junto a la puerta para facilitar el servicio del personal. Caminé hacia el otro lado del restaurante a través del puente, pensando que los baños estaban por ahí. Fue una verdadera pena que no estuviéramos sentados de ese lado, por el tema principal y el ambiente del restaurante. Sabía desde este punto, que el servicio iba a ser promedio debido a esta falta de detalles de los asientos. La comida era básica y carecía de sabor por desgracia. No es agradable. Los titulares fueron mejores que los principales. Fue una pena, como habíamos estado queriendo ir por un tiempo. El servicio era limitado y básico. Un ejemplo de nuestros platos de entrada se dejaron en la mesa que nos trajeron nuestro plato principal y nadie se registró en ningún momento. Lamentablemente, incluso tuvimos que pedir la factura. Con todo 👎🏻

Food was okay, not very great. But team was good

I have to give you a good review because of this lovey ramen! Highly recommend seafood ramen. I’m a semi-vegetarian and I don’t eat any land meat but only seafood. Therefore I have tried many Japanese restaurants and ramen places. And I have to be honest, it’s a very reasonable price you get many varieties of different seafood and vegetables. And it tastes really good 👍 I short stay in Leeds today and will come back once visiting this city again.

This was truly one of the worst dining experiences I have had in Leeds. It was meant to be a dinner for a special occasion, but as soon as we arrived it went downhill. The restaurant fumbled the reservation so we ended up being tucked away and forgotten about by. our server most of the night. We ordered a variety of stuff, and to be fair, the gyoza and chicken karage was alright. However, it took 30 minutes to get our drinks, and we had almost finished our food by the time they arrived. Then, the sushi was very fishy and of poor quality. I think we ate 1/4 of it and left the rest. To make matters worse, the servers walked past our table multiple times and just looked at the uneaten food without asking if there was something wrong. By the end I was ready to just pay and leave, which ended up costing far too much for a very forgettable meal. Safe to say this will be my first and last time at this establishment. Very, very disappointed. Would not recommend.

I have been going to Little Tokyo for years but hadn’t been for a while. Firstly we had to ask someone to take our order as nobody came to us. I usually have chicken teriyaki bento box which has always been lovely but it arrived very quickly & some of the chicken wasn’t cooked properly & still raw & some of the batter on the tempura wasn’t cooked & stodgy! Definitely not the experience I usually have!! Very disappointing & not sure I’ll be back!

I had been here years ago and enjoyed it so I wanted to repeat. Little Tokyo is a cosy restaurant tucked away on a side street in Leeds city centre. As you enter there is a bar and I was quickly greeted by the friendly staff and guided to my seat. The decor is really nice, there's cherry blossom trees, a bridge with a koi pond and nice rustic wood tables and chairs. After I was seated I had a look through the menu and decided on the tempura seafood platter and seafood ramen. I was asked if I wanted everything at the same time and I was surprised at how fast everything was prepared and brought to my table. The presentation was great. The seafood tempura was lovely and crispy and consisted of a small octopus, fish, prawns and mussels. For a side dish, both the price and the portion size were excellent at 8.99. The seafood ramen was very tasty - king prawns, mussels, fish balls, squid and octopus. They didn't skimp on the seafood and the portion was more than adequate. I wasn't able to finish everything, though I tried my hardest as I really didn't want to waste great food. I also liked the authenticity of the restaurant. I was given chopsticks and no knife and fork - which is absolutely fine for me. I'm sure you could ask if this was something that bothers you. The staff are so welcoming and polite and the atmosphere is really relaxed and comfortable. I had a long island ice tea along with my meal which I also really enjoyed. This is hands down the nicest Japanese restaurant in Leeds and I will certainly return once again. Thank you.
