Ichi Sushi in Leeds

Excellent range of sushi. Delicious! Picked up takeaway from Rawdon branch. Had salmon and tuna rolls and a variety of other dishes. All well presented. Thanks

Don’t bother. These clowns consistently fail to get delivery orders right. And don’t expect them to put it right. They won’t. They will just argue with you. The food itself is pretty ordinary so save yourself the hassle and order it from somewhere else.

I’ve had great food from here before. But today bank holiday thought we would try again. I had the sashimi platter can’t be same chef diced tuna not sliced. No sea bass two prawns which were inedible. Can’t believe they sent it out.will not go again.

Best sushi in town; I fell in love with Ichi Sushi since the very first time i ordered from here and I am glad to say that it has a special meaning for me. It’s a must! Sushi 🔝

Does get busy on a Friday and Saturday night during lockdown so delivery isn’t the quickest, but it is lovely fresh sushi. Recommended.

We’d heard fab reviews about this place. We ordered at half 5 (and on the website it said 45 mins to an hour to get it delivered, no problem at all with that). Upon ordering, we were told our order will take a little longer and it would be 1 hour 15. I would understand if I’d ordered a significant amount of food but it was 2 starters and 2 mains. It arrived at 7pm, so an hour and a half later... already not impressed as this was the first time we’d ordered from here. We got a katsu curry. Great that they’d separated the sauce so nothing was soggy - however the sauce was barely warm. King prawn teriyaki don - huge prawns but this sauce was very oniony rather than teriyaki. Fish katsu - bang average fried fish. Salmon sashimi - delicious, cannot fault! In all, not the best experience. I’m sure the sushi would be lovely but I have no inclination to try this place again. There are plenty of other sushi places to try!

Ordered in the morning via Just Eat for a 7pm collection. I arrived at 6.58pm. The food was ready, was hot when I got home, and was delicious. All the dishes were excellent and I can’t wait for the next takeaway, which will be very soon!

Quick service. Lovely food. Really liked the Japanese cheese cake. Bla bla bla. TA insisted I write more.

Ordered a delivery yesterday evening. Food arrived 50 minutes later but was the completely wrong order. Attempted to contact Ichi for 20 minutes and eventually got through. They instructed me to reorder and pay again through Uber Eats! I was shocked. He then agreed to remake and deliver the order within 30 minutes. Another 50 minutes went by, no delivery. I called again, this time a lady answered, the gentleman refused to speak as he “was apparently too busy making sushi.” She said he had tried to call me and “didn't bother delivering the replacement” as he assumed I no longer wanted it. At no point had we received any call. 3 hours later, no food, been charged and treated appallingly.. extremely rude and unhelpful. Such a shame.

Tasty sushi and quality ingredients but sashimi (3pcs) is tiny. Much smaller than I would expect- usually a big mouthful per piece. Quite expensive for what it is!

Honest to god the best Katsu curry I have ever eaten in my life. Highly recommend to anyone looking for that authentic Japanese taste. Would rate higher if I could and will certainly be going again. This was my first time eating from here and I’m blown out of the water by just how good it is. Words have escaped me but I tell no lie.

So last night the wife suggested' take out' for tea. For some reason we opted for Japanese after a offer on Uber eats popped up on social media (Dam those adverts do actually work to influence what we buy). Apart from the delivery cost (£7) nothing to grumble about ; the food was excellent:Two large trays of sushi / sashimi ,a potent wasabi sauce and a few sachets of soy. We all loved it , delivered on time. It made a refreshing change from having a Chinese take away. Great to have another option to choose from on the odd occasion that we order food in and a worthy addition to the Leeds food scene. Keep it up guys. (sorry no photo we'd eaten all the food before I thought to take a photo)

Finally managed to convince the wife to try a takeaway from here.....and we were both pleasantly surprised! Food was delicious, we ordered a pretty big selection for just two of us but everything was very tasty. This place has a 5* food hygiene rating which is a damn site better than so many other takeaways out there! The presentation of the food is excellent too.....only complaint, there was a lot of plastic packaging and unfortunately none of it was recyclable. Otherwise it would have got and excellent rating. I know it’s not been open that long so hopefully in time they will ratify that!!??

Have had sushi take away from here a few times now and it’s been excellent each time. I’ve ordered various sushi rolls, I can recommend the Ichi roll, it’s always so fresh and delicious. Great value for money and friendly service also.
