Itsu in Leeds

The order never came, i need my money back asap, i’ve been waiting almost 3 hours to say order delivered when nothing came.

I've ordered from here 3 times (via ubereats) and they've literally never got the order right. First time they missed an item from the combo, 2nd time they provided an incorrect meal, 3rd time they only sent one item of 2 ordered. Absolutely hopeless. Baffled by how poor they are at counting things.

I liked it... Only when the service is so automatic... It stops being a service. You order from a machine and they give you everything as if it were canned... Even the drink you have to go look for in the refrigerator... I don't know, is it that I'm old?

Average food and expensive for what it is. No cash payment available. Self service. Staff seem happy to watch you struggle rather than help. If you need to use the bathroom it’s locked and have to try track down and as permission like you’re a kid in primary school. Again rather than helping you get handed a piece of paper with the door code on. Won’t be long till this place is staffed by robots. Won’t be back.

Food is nice but don't bother ordering through just eat.... either takes hours for delivery or they cancel it..... estimated delivery was 30 minutes...waited an hour and a half and they then cancelled the order.... absolute waste of time

Food is lovely but having an estimated delivery time of half an hour and then it turning up and hour and a half after ordering isn't great with zero communication.... ordered again tonight to give it another chance.... its been an hour and still waiting.... so unfortunately won't be ordering again

This place is absolutely terrible!!! Avoid, placed an order around 19:00 online for delivery and after nearly a 2 hour wait they cancelled my order, what's a absolute disgusting way to treat your customers. I wouldn't mind but this isn't the first time this has happend. If your business can't keep up with online demands the I'd recommend you don't offer it as an option!!!!!!

Brilliant service given today and as always. Staff are always friendly, smiling and always go out of their way to help.

Fabulous food with brilliant condiments. The chilli Korean udon is delicious and the sushi, edamame and mochi never disappoint. My son had a Gyozo soup, miso and separate gyozo and they were all delicious. Amongst the pricier end for “fast food”’but significantly better quality and value for money than many more “restaurant” style eateries serving similar food. We visit every time we are in Leeds.

Delivery took 15 mins. really surprised. Good food, will order again

Nice sushi, good sizes, the misu soup and the duck dumplings were hot, prepared on order.

The bao was real nice but the paradise rice wasn't so nice , no taste of ginger present at all , all I could taste was the beans.

We ordered approx 13.30 and the food didn’t come until around 15.30. The original delivery estimate was 14.15. The delivery driver went to the other side of the estate. The sushi didn’t look fresh with the rice looking dry and the avocado brown.

Comfortable place and standard food. No surprise. Toilet is clean.

Good service and friendly courier

This restaurant is great if you want to grab a quick bite and for me it’s a go to before a busy day at work. The staff always seem to get the orders sorted even during busy hours so a very big well done to them !

Kiosks to choose and order, dine in and takeaway, friendly and fast service, seating on two floors with a small outdoor place. Tables have small hooks to attach your pets ' leashes while you eat. Wooden forks and paper sporks, soy sauce, teriyaki and other condiments available. Noodles, soups, sushi and katsu etc are available. Healthy food.

Itsu is always a stop off while I'm visiting Leeds The food is fresh, tasty and healthy albeit a little on the pricer side but totally worth it The restaurant is clean and welcoming with touch screens to order or friendly staff It serves fast but very good Japanese inspired food and I do very much recommend it. They have rice bowls, noodle bowls, bao and gyozas Half of the menu is vegan and there is gluten free options too! If you like Asian inspired food don't miss this, especially for a quick bite!

Always yummy and fresh sushi! Very well priced and a perfect lunch! Come here all the time and never had bad sushi my fave is the veggie selection.

The screen menu is not representative of the meal delivered. It was our first visit to Itsu and I chose the chicken soup which on the screen menu looked quite appetising and appealing. What was actually served up was little more than a pot noodle, a small serving of soup in a paper pot!

Nice place, staff were ok but the food was not great. £6 for what’s basically a pot noodle.

I got told my food would be ready for 7:30 to 7:50 and then it changed to 8 and then my food came at 8:18 ,, my food was cold when it got here and didn’t live up to the standards or the quality off food it was show

I always stop in here whenever i'm in town and i want a healthy eating option. The staff are always very friendly and the service is always extremely quick. I chose the sushi festival which is a mix of salmon and avocado sushi and my partner got the chicken and spring onion gyozas. Everything always tastes very fresh and we always leave full and satisfied. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed and the prices are very good for what you get.

Itsu is a great place for quick healthy tasty food that also doesn’t break the bank Went recently to grab a vegetarian sushi platter, it’s was pretty nice but I wish there was a wider variety of vegetarian sushi with the box. Tastes great though

Food from Itsu is amazing however it took more than 3 hours to have it delivered. Ordered the same thing from Uber eats after waiting for more than an hour for the order through just eat. Had my food delivered within 30 minutes!

This is service a la McDonalds style. You order at a machine/screen, then pick up your order from the counter before taking a table. Behind the counter looked clean, it had no reason not to, as they appeared to just to be mainly warming stuff that had perhaps been prepared elsewhere. The tables and eating areas were clean and bright. Upstairs has lovely big curved windows to watch the bustling street through. Despite the food seeming to have been prepped elsewhere, there was plenty of fresh veg etc. It's not wagamamas, but it's okay, and a reasonable price for what you get. I might have been completely missing places, but this seemed like one of few places in the area serving a casual lunch that was a bit more fresh and different. We had originally been looking out for the sort of place you might get a nice gourmet toastie and a cappucino!

I recently dined at itsu restaurant, and the overall experience was a mixed bag. The ambience was delightful, creating a pleasant atmosphere for the meal. However, I found the portion sizes to be a bit lacking, leaving me wanting more. The taste of the sushi was decent, but it didn't quite reach the level of excellence I was hoping for. While the ambiance contributed positively to the dining experience, improvements in portion size and flavor could elevate the overall satisfaction.

Me & my friend ordered stir fry style noodles & chicken Gyoza noodle bowl. Absolutely horrible ! It is not prepared fresh, they gave us the food within few minutes in a take away container. Never going back. Thanks.

It's OK for a quick bite to eat when you fancy something healthier than a McD! Staff were lovely though.

I come to get food from here often, the last time I went was 2 weeks ago. When I ate the sushi I'd ordered it tasted off. Ive had food poisoning since then and it hasn't gone away.

Our favoutite casual dining for a quick Japanese meal. Have eaten here a number of times, and it never disappoints. Nice clean, colorful decor. Tables have usb charging ports. Our favorites are the gyoza, chicken noodle soup and famous coconut rice. Highly recommended if you're looking for some Jaoanese comfort food.

I had a wonderful experience here today. The white male who served me was so lovely and the food was great. Also read about the half price evening meals to avoid food waste and I think that's amazing! Will definitely be back.

I usually come here when I walk to city centre during lunch break and always order the same thing. However, the experience I had today was very disappointing. I ordered crystal chicken soup and edamame at around 1pm. When I started eating glass noodles in the soup I found that it was uncooked. The noodles were still hard so I went to the counter and told the staff. The staff said it is normal and told I should wait for the noodle to soak in the soup a bit (why? Isn't it should be ready to eat?) and it will be fine. I insist that not only it was uncooked the soup also wasn't hot. So she replaced my soup with the new one. However, the second one also had the same issue so I gave up as no point complaining when the staff probably never eat glass noodles before I don't understand what went wrong with this branch today. I have never had this issue before. Food should be ready to eat when it's handed out to customer.

Over an hour late. Ordered at 4.30 to be delivered at 6.20. didn't get delivered until 7.30. The restaurant didn't call for courier until 7pm so, clearly didn't start making our order until it was already late. Food was also cold.

Awful staff says we should eat outside with a child at freezing weather, and it doesn't matter that we already bought food from ITSU Time 15:25pm Day 26/11/2023

Amazing restaurant and friendly staff

I usually get sushi from itu and it's always fresh and tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful. Recommend to have healthy lunch here.

I must be the only person who's not experienced Itsu before my visit to Leeds. I popped into here for a quick lunch while taking in some of the sites around Leeds City Centre. What a brilliant and easy alternative to fast food. I would pick this over a Mcdonald or KFC any day. The only thing I would like to see that would make the experience any better would be the removal of all plastic in the packaging! Other than that, this is definitely something to put on your lunchtime or dinner list as the food was 5star and very reasonably priced

Had high expectations for my £10.95 "triple" chicken rice bowl. It was tiny. I've uploaded a picture of it next to a standard small bottle of water. There was about a quarter of a chicken breast, if that. It was gelatinous, soggy and tasteless, apart from a generic, mildly Asian sauce. Really, really bad value to the extent that it was actually bir of a rip-off. There are dozens of food places nearby - there's absolutely no need or reason to visit this one.

Such a great team at the Leeds Itsu, I love visiting Itsu in London but the staff here were the best , so freindly and helpful especially Madara, Judit and Ive made sure I had a great dinner to take home on the train! Thank you I will be back when next in Leeds :D

We had takeaway from Itsu and it arrived on time, and well packaged. The food was gorgeous and so I’d highly recommend! We will try to visit the restaurent in the future but have given 5 stars for atmosphere as the presentation of the takeaway food was excellent :-)

It's the first time I have been to this place and I had the katsu rice bowl which was full of flavour and delicious. I would definitely recommend coming to try this place. The food is well priced and the service was excellent. I will definitely come back here when I am back in Leeds.

I enjoy visiting this branch of Itsu - the staff are always pleasant and accommodating! The chicken/salmon teriyaki and dragon rolls are consistently good. The store is always clean and well presented, and the service quick.

The taste and tableware are very poor, the picture shows a bowl, and the paper cup noodles are served, which is not even as good as instant noodles.
