Itsu in Leeds

Had high expectations for my £10.95 "triple" chicken rice bowl. It was tiny. I've uploaded a picture of it next to a standard small bottle of water. There was about a quarter of a chicken breast, if that. It was gelatinous, soggy and tasteless, apart from a generic, mildly Asian sauce. Really, really bad value to the extent that it was actually bir of a rip-off. There are dozens of food places nearby - there's absolutely no need or reason to visit this one.

Hi everyone ! Being a sushi chef myself, I would rate 5/5 stars to itsu sushi restaurant. I highly recommend to dine in at itsu Leeds to experience fresh and high quality sushi and other hot food. I have had the best time dining and ordering food from them. If you fancy great sushi with amazing quality and friendly service from the staffs.

Love the new ordering system instead of piling around the fridge you can select from an electronic display then collect. Fresh and tasty.

Went today and they don’t take cash. They said they had a sign, but we didn’t see one. I looked on the entrance outside and I didn’t see anything that looked like a sign saying they would not take cash. I use a cash budgeting envelope system to keep up with my money, so we went somewhere that wanted our money.

Quite pleasant place to have a lunch. Polite staff. I always get sushi rolls, never had problems always fresh. Recommend.

Stopped here for my supper after very hot day. Very well organised and safety measures in place. Even better with EOHO!

Never been before Plenty of delicious looking options I had the meatless meatballs rice box - it was super delicious & filling enough for evening meal :) Friendly staff and very good prices

Gezonde lunch van goede kwaliteit. Alles is vers en zeker de smoothies zijn aan te raden. Worden vers bereid met verse ingrediënten. Kom hier vaker.

Have had lunch here a couple of times. Quick service even though it’s usually busy. Fresh tasty food. Great drink choices and reasonable prices.

This was my first time visiting Itsu and I was so impressed. The food was quick, reasonably priced and so tasty. Inside was clean, there were even plug sockets for you to charge your phone. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will absolutely be returning. Highly recommend the sushi and also the teriyaki rice bowl.

The sushi and bao buns are terrific for a treat, and the soup and salads are great for lunch or tea any day. Never had a bad meal, the tables and bathroom are always clean, staff are always wonderful, they even accept unidays! There's nothing better than sitting on the windowsill upstairs (yes - I said windowsill) listening to the music, enjoying the AC and some perfect sushi.

Close to my hotel, so I gave it a go. Never been in an Itsu before. Seems like an Asian version of McDonald's (I'm guessing, never been in a MacD), because the formulaic food is pictured up on shiny screens above the counter and comes out super quick. I chose a teryaki rice bowl, cost £7.50. A charming young lady, possibly Romanian, served me cheerfully, which was a good start. It should've been fun to eat: basically a special fried rice (containing peas and bits of string beans and red pepper), plus pre-cut bits of chicken sprinkled with what looked like soy or teryaki sauce. Portion size good. But it was lukewarm, so it went down too quick. I wished I'd gone somewhere else. Obviously, in a place like this food sits about for a long time before getting dished up; but I don't know whether they'd taken their eye off the ball with the heat level (please taste it every so often), or if it's company policy to serve lukewarm food and get you out the door quickly. If the latter, it was redundant that night, as Itsu was almost empty at the time. Customers won't return if food's underheated, so I call that self-defeating. The restaurant was large and attractive, with pine tables and surround windows onto the attractive square outside.

I just ADORE Itsu. First visit to the one in Leeds. Amazing tastes. I recommend the vegetable dumplings with Teryaki sauce.... sooooooo good

I love this place but always get food to eat out. I decided to get food and eat in when catching up with mates over lunch but this branch plays such loud (odd) background music we couldn't chat or catch up at all.
