Maddie and the team were amazing they helped us with our app and the rewards we wanted to use when we couldn’t figure it out ourselves. They were so polite and really smiley, honestly just nice people!

We went for lunch on Saturday food was amazing our server was Ellie she was amazing and very helpful a true asset to the company

We had a lovely night for my son‘s birthday. Ellie was out server and nothing was too much trouble. I was there earlier than my family and she really looked after me, and then did everything possible to make my son’s birthday very special. And of course as usual, the food was amazing!

Delicious food, great vegan range and Ellie, our server, was friendly, so attentive.

Great place for nice foods. Restaurant manager gladly assisted us in choosing our foods because we have allergies on some of its menu.

Definitely my favourite Wagamama to visit! Always amazing service from the staff, food is always top tier and quick! honestly no complaints at all.my boyfriend and I had the honour of being served by Ellie on her first shift which was over a year ago now and we still sometimes see her working hard always serving with a lovely smile and great attitude :)

I ordered Prawn skewers as a starter and then Roast Chicken ramen. The prawn skewers were really tasty and went down very quickly. I was with a party of 7 work mates and when it came to the main meal everyone got their food except me. The waitress noticed and went to see where mine was at the preparation area. I noticed then the manager was called and they had a chat. Next the waitress came over and said it would be 2 minutes and asked if I needed another drink. It was another 10 minutes before my food came and I was told it would be free. I started to eat it and it was tasteless. So I only eat the chicken and part of the pasta. Don't think I will be in a hurry to go again.

The food is so amazing and delicious. I really loved the taste and service. Wanna go again place.

This was the first time that I had ever experienced Wagamama, I went for the chicken katsu curry which came with a piece of chicken on a bed of rice with a curry sauce the chicken was tender and cooked perfectly the curry was slightly hot but full of flavour and the rice was nice and sticky without being clumped up to much inside the Venue was clean and very spacious you can also see into the kitchen preparation area where the chefs were preparing the food the waiters were on hand to take the orders quickly and efficiently and I didn't have to wait too long until our food has arrived afterwards the price was slightly higher than what I would have thought constituted to be value for money but with these new modern eateries it is to be expected. Would probably visit again in the future, but it wouldn't be my first choice as there are better value for money options out there, especially inside Meadowhall of the Oasis dining area a few miles away.

Wagamamas never disappoints. Another lovely meal this evening. Shout out to our waitress Ellie who was attentive, helpful (with my extreme indecisiveness!), and just super friendly :) We’ll be back

Awful Customer Service – Ongoing Gift Card Issue I have been trying to get my Wagamama gift card fixed since 27th December 2024, and the experience has been nothing but frustrating. I was told the issue had been sent to head office and resolved, yet it still isn’t fixed—and now I’m being completely ignored. The last response I received was on 15th February 2025, and despite emailing twice since then, I’ve had no reply. This level of customer service is shocking. Ignoring customers instead of resolving an issue that has been going on for two months is completely unacceptable. I expected better from Wagamama, but clearly, once they have your money, they don’t care. If you’re thinking of buying a gift card, don’t bother—you may never get to use it! It’s a shame as the food and service here is lovely and I really enjoyed going. I refuse to go back until this issue is fixed.

A go to place for gorgeous food. The amount of meat you get seems to have decreased the last few times. Staff are lovely and helpful.

The vegan food is on point and Ellie has been our server twice. An absolute credit to the company and the restaurant. Honestly she can't do enough for you. Made our experience a 10 out of 10!

I’ve literally just left and felt compelled to leave a review. Having only been to Wagamama‘s twice now, I think you’ve gained a new fan. Special mention to Ellie who made the evening great. She was super helpful always had a smile on her face and helped tweak my order so it was absolutely perfect. Definitely coming back.

Nice big restaurant in (but entrance is outside) shopping center. So it can operate outside Open hours of shops up to 9pm in regular days. And an hour longer on weekends. Just a side of Cinema.

No podíamos comer nada demasiado picante, así que Ellie nos hizo sugerencias para ayudar. Las bebidas llegaron en gran momento - té verde en una olla y té de durazno que era delicioso. (Aunque mi pequeño realmente quería boba en ellos, se preguntó si estos podrían ser añadidos como un extra para la próxima vez?) Sin embargo, después de los entrantes, el plato fuerte de Yaki Soba con pollo y gambas vino con solo 4 piezas de pollo que no era muy sabroso y 3 gambas y setas medio cocidas con fideos muy sosos y casi ningún huevo. No estoy muy seguro de lo que estaba pasando allí. Bastante triste. Lo comimos de todos modos. Ellie vino a rescatarnos después de preguntar cómo estábamos. Ella fue muy disculpado después de mi queja mansa y nos ordenó con un tazón de gambas y un plato de salsa amai para nuestra comida. Nos gustaría ir de nuevo solo en función de su servicio (Ellie) y la velocidad / eficiencia de la cual la comida salió de la cocina. Late to the party, but first time ever at Wagamama! Lovely atmosphere, Ellie served us and was so lovely, professional and recommended some dishes for us which were amazing.

The wife and I called in today for a wonderful child-free meal out that we rarely get nowadays, we were served by Ellie who did a great job, she was very friendly, smiley and offered us some great advice on the new menu items, it's great to see folk that genuinely appear happy to be at work. The food was piping hot, served the second it comes off the pan which is how it should be, the steak was medium rare as requested, the bok choi had the perfect amount of crunch, the new honey chicken nugget things were absolutely incredible and have smashed bang bang cauliflower from the top starter spot. The Koari Sake tastes wonderful although I do wish you would stock the Yuzu one again as that's my favourite. Overall this was the perfect example of how a Wagamama visit should be.

Lovely food terrible customer service. Visited on Saturday told the server that we had a voucher, then wasn't applied to the bill which we paid before realising. Then refused to refund the difference. Was told they would call me on Monday to arrange still not heard anything.

Although I didn’t enjoy my main meal as the recipe had changed, she was very attentive and provided alternative options. It's massively overpriced for what it is. Too overcrowded and due to the layout, you're practically touching shoulders with strangers who you end up sharing a table with.

Popped in here on our way back from Manchester (to Newcastle) as I was craving something spicy. Food was good, especially the wok fried greens and firecracker tofu. They do let you know that all the food will come out as it's ready rather than starters then mains and while normally I don't mind this, my partner's main came out about 8 minutes before mine, by which time he was almost done. And one of our small plates (bao buns) arrived when we'd both pretty much finished everything. Made it kind of a disjointed meal. The waitress also started to take some of our empty plates away while I was still eating which is a bit of a peeve of mine, but just personal preference.

Absolutely lovely! I had the tantanmen beef brisket ramen; great value for money, I was stuffed! Great atmosphere. Try and get there earlier than 7pm on a Friday if you can, it gets packed.

Had a catch up with a friend- lovely food, great service- all we needed!

Food is OK. The atmosphere, pretty reasonable... But my 14yr old daughter was scammed by a waiter here on 12th October 2024. She was made to pay for her meal TWICE. After speaking to 3 different 'managers' and told that a refund would be processed, almost 4 weeks on and no sign of this money coming back. I am increasingly frustrated by the lack of support. She proved to the FoH manager that the money had been taken twice. Keep getting fobbed off and nothing is happening.

I absolutely loved eating here although it is a rare treat. Normally it's a bit out of my price range but that's not to say the food isn't worth the money because that wouldn't be fair - the food was delicious and worth every penny. Staff were delightful and the ambience was relaxing.

I recently dined at Wagamama white rose Leeds , I was thoroughly impressed. The menu offers a brilliant variety of dishes, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. Plus, the prices were reasonable, making it a great value for the quality you receive. Convenient parking made the whole experience even better. A mi hijo le encanta el wagamama pero ahora siento que se hacen demasiado grandes para sus botas. Hemos estado wagamama en diferentes lugares y diferentes experiencias, pero esto fue lo peor de lejos. Sí, sabemos como clientes que la comida viene en diferentes momentos o vienen como se prepararon, pero no deberían venir tan retrasados cuando alguien con quien comes ha terminado la suya y todavía estoy esperando. Mencioné al servidor que mi hijo ha terminado el suyo y todavía estoy esperando. Dice que de 3 a 4 minutos más en serio, así que mi hijo me va a mirar comiendo. Dije que cancelara la mía y no se disculparon ni ella ni el personal. Los servidores siempre han sido altos y poderosos como si fueran dueños del lugar. Y luego me dice que lo hemos cancelado aquí. Como si fuera a pagar por algo que ni siquiera estaba listo. No como si sus precios fueran razonables. .. si pagamos tanto al menos tenemos algo de cortesía y además enviamos estos servidores para algún curso de atención al cliente. De todos modos en general actitud repugnante.

Usual Waga food and service. Prices have risen in recent years but are in-line with similar restaurants. On this occasion we did have have to feedback that the food was on the cool side, possibly due to the very cold plates and bowls. The food was still delicious 😋

Our waitress was Ellie and I have to say, she was one of the most loveliest people I've ever met! She gave us some amazing recommendations and was so nice to us! She wished my mum a lovely happy birthday when I took her in for a birthday dinner and we cannot thank her enough! She made us feel valued and special while we were there and the recommendations of food and drink were 10/10! She deserves some good recognition for her work and even a raise if you ask me! You have a top notch employee in your hands!

Solo mi segunda vez cenando en un Wagamama así que estaba interesado en intentarlo de nuevo ya que mi primera experiencia fue buena. El anfitrión nos recibió alegremente y nos mostró a una mesa, nos dio el menú y dijo que nuestro servidor vendría y tomar nuestro pedido. Después de mirar el menú elegimos un plato de fideos y un plato de ramen y un par de guarniciones y un par de bebidas. Esperamos unos 15 minutos y uno de nuestros platos fue sacado, otros dos fueron sacados en pedazos, tuvimos que preguntar sobre nuestro cuarto para ver si lo estábamos consiguiendo. Parecía ordenado que todo saliera individualmente, puede ser que se base en cuando la comida está lista que la envían en lugar de cuando todo está listo. Esto podría estar bien si puedes compartir platos, pero no mucho si uno de ustedes es vegetariano y el otro no, así que solo tienes que sentarte y esperar a que llegue tu comida. El personal estaba bien, no era antipático, pero tampoco demasiado amable. No me gustó el hecho de que cuando estaban de descanso utilizaron una de las mesas de la parte trasera del restaurante como zona de descanso, posiblemente porque no tienen sala de descanso en la parte trasera, pero personalmente no creo que se vea bien el personal sentado allí en los teléfonos, comiendo y charlando, particularmente cuando estaba ocupado. En general, la experiencia estaba bien, encontré los precios un poco empinados más de £ 50 para el almuerzo, no es un lugar en el que comería regularmente, pero lo recomendaría para que la gente lo pruebe y tome su propia decisión,

DO NOT PAY USING QR CODE ! Very disappointed with my visit here today. On arrival they encouraged me to pay using the QR code which they provided. After finishing my meal I paid using the QR code , the money had left my bank account however the website was saying that my payment was pending. The manager then had me pay again , this time using the card machine. Meaning that I have paid twice for my meal, they say I have to wait 5 working days for the initial payment that I made to be refunded. He also said this is an issue they have been having frequently, if they know they are having issues with payment through the QR code then they should warn customers not to pay that way instead of encouraging this form of payment. Very frustrated that I have had to pay twice for my meal as it's not the cheapest place to go eat and now I'm out of pocket. They need to fix this issue instead of wiping it under the rug. Won't be visiting again!

Went on a Sunday evening. Nice peaceful atmosphere. Not too busy or loud at all like some wagamamas. Although tablea weren't full so could be different if so. But it's not as big as others, so gives a better vibe I think. Staff friendly and quick. Food banging as always, very flavourful. I had the pork belly ramen 😋

Good food, don't agree that the starters come when they're ready as sides, but policy. Servers and seaters could probably work in sync a little better, but will definitely return

Bit disappointed. Haven't been for around 2 months. Went tonight, ordered the beef brisket ramen... Don't waste your money may as well order a vegetable one. you got like a tablespoon of beef if that... The spaghetti was all clumped together and the broth was tasteless. Gone down hill. So sad was my fav place to eat.

We visited on a friday tea time so it was starting to get a bit busy as we arrived. We were seated quickly and our server, Alex was very helpful indeed. I had my 83 year old mum with us who had never been before. She was a little confused with the menu and Alex was very patient and helpful. As we left, my mum thanked him for being so helpful and told him he had a nice smile! She is looking forward to returning. Thankyou for making her day.

Today I came to wagamamas for my second time which I’ve never been to the white rose one before and my experience here couldn’t of been any better the staff was amazing especially Emily who was working where I was eating she helped me find the right dish for what suited me as I’m very fussy but wanted to try something different she was so helpful and polite 😁big thankyou to her

“Impressed with customer dealing” We went for dinner with my boyfriend around 7:30 pm. We ordered 2 dishes. I picked a new curry with coconut milk and ramen (with beef) for my partner. Obviously ramen was delivered much earlier than my dish. So the lady who did service said: thank you for waiting and understanding this dish is free for you. Also manager Rory came to us to make sure we are good and apologized for the delay. That is a great example of caring about own reputation and guests feelings. And of course food was delicious 😋 Thank you!

I've been in wagamama in London before but in here everything is disgusting. Food, service, ambient..... Never again, sorry guys you could do better than this. I know what kind of company is wagamama. This is not the standard that we were used in London. Try to improve.

Very good food and good service

Always great to food and service but man has it got expensive to feed 2 adults, 2 younger children with zero alcohol on the bill.

We didn't have to wait very long to be seated although it was peak time and the service and food were very good and prices remain reasonable!

Got a take out last week, service was quick, they offered me a seat and drink whilst I waited. Food lovely, restaurant clean and tidy

Went to Leeds White rose for some baby shopping and really fancied a wagas. It was late afternoon so no problem getting a table. Our waiter Dexter was absolutely amazing! He knows the menu like the back of his hand and we decided to try some of his recommendations, I'm usually a stick to what I know kind of person but I'm glad I followed his advice because the food was sooooo good. Dexter was ace, funny and entertaining and spent time including our little boy and making him laugh. Thank you for a great lunch :)

Me and my Gran go to wagamamas at white rose every weekend, not only is the food always amazing but the staff are always so attentive and making sure we’re enjoying our food. We’ve become very familiar with most of the servers, particularly Laurie, Dawid, Dom, Dexter etc. and its a lovely part of our weekend to see them and talk to them whilst enjoying our time there. Would 100% recommend this wagamamas, thank you all again for everything you do for us 😊

Me and my wife called for lunch , I had a katsu curry . It looked nice lots of plain rice which was just rice , sauce was on , chicken ok , but of salad at side . My wife had a bowl of duck curry with rice . The dish was three quarters rice again with duck which we couldn’t even find . The meal was below average. Not very warm . Got 2 small cokes . The meal was nearly £50 . Not worth half this . Don’t know how they can charge this

Friendly and attentive staff. Great menu catering for all dietary needs. Small complaint is that I received my meal quite a while before my daughter so I had nearly finished before she got hers. Would have preferred them at the same time. Clean environment. Delicious food and the ability to pay online so quick and easy.

My server was nice enough, the atmosphere was ok, but the food was some of the worst food I've ever eaten! Seriously 😳 and I'm pretty easy to please. The duck gyoza were a very strange texture, not quite sure what they're made of, and the miso soup was like water with a bit of tofu & seaweed in it. Shocking! Sorry guys, but it really was that bad.

Natalia was serving us last night and it’s probably the best service I’ve had anywhere I’ve been. The main I chose wasn’t great but I didn’t want to waste the food or create a fuss. I explained I was happy to continue but she insisted she wanted me to leave happy. The meal was replaced quickly. The service was great, friendly, personal and quick.

Just loved the entire experience

Lazy staff wondering about in what looks like gym attire, I had to approach them to order and when the food was ready they just slide it onto the table like you’re one of there uni pals on a night out. Traditional Japanese my ring. Just poor !!

I have never written a review before but felt this was deserved. My partner and I came to Wagamamas on Valentine’s Day for dinner where we was served by the lovely Ellie. She really made our evening! Big shout out to her. We will definitely be back!
