Wagamama in Leeds

I recently dined at Wagamama white rose Leeds , I was thoroughly impressed. The menu offers a brilliant variety of dishes, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The service was fantastic—attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Plus, the prices were reasonable, making it a great value for the quality you receive. Convenient parking made the whole experience even better. I highly recommend Wagamama for anyone looking for a satisfying meal in a welcoming atmosphere

Food was perfect but our waiter had long curly hair and it wasn’t tied up and it looked unprofessional and didn’t want it in our food.

Rushed service by a smelly perfume covered up BO server. Gross experience when trying to eat. Almost puked.

My son loves wagamama but now i feel they getting too big for their boots. We have been wagamama at different locations and different experiences but this was the worst by far. Yes we know as customers that food comes at different time or they come as they prepared but they shouldn't be coming that delayed when someone you eating with has finished theirs and i am still waiting. I mentioned to the server that my son has finished his and i am still waiting. She says 3 to 4 mins more seriously so my son is going to look at me eating. I said cancel mine and they not one apology from her or the staff...appalling customer service. The servers have always been high and mighty as if they own the place. And then she says to me we have cancelled it here you bill. Like i was going to pay for something that wasnt even ready. Not like their prices are reasonable...if we paying so much at least have some courtesy and also send these servers for some customer service course. Anyways overall disgusting attitude .

Usual Waga food and service. Prices have risen in recent years but are in-line with similar restaurants. On this occasion we did have have to feedback that the food was on the cool side, possibly due to the very cold plates and bowls. The food was still delicious 😋

Our waitress was Ellie and I have to say, she was one of the most loveliest people I've ever met! She gave us some amazing recommendations and was so nice to us! She wished my mum a lovely happy birthday when I took her in for a birthday dinner and we cannot thank her enough! She made us feel valued and special while we were there and the recommendations of food and drink were 10/10! She deserves some good recognition for her work and even a raise if you ask me! You have a top notch employee in your hands!

Only my second time dining at a Wagamama so was interested to try again as my first experience was good. The host greeted us cheerfully and showed us to a table, he gave us the menu and said our server would come over and take our order. After looking at the menu we choose a noodle dish and a ramen dish and a couple of side dishes and a couple of drinks. We waited about 15 minutes and one of our dishes were brought out, two others were brought out in bits, we had to ask about our fourth to see if we were getting it. It did seem order everything was brought out individually, may be it is based on when the food is ready they send it out rather than when it is all ready. This might be okay if you can share dishes but not much good if one of you is vegetarian and other is not, so you just have to sit and wait for your food to arrive. The staff were okay, not unfriendly but not overly friendly either. I did not like the fact when they were on break they used one of the tables at the back of the restaurant as a break area, possibly because they have no break room out the back, but I personally do not think it looks good the staff sitting there on there phones, eating and chatting, particularly when it was busy. Overall the experience was okay, found the prices a bit steep over £50 for lunch, not somewhere I would eat at regularly but would recommend it for people to try it and make their own mind up,

DO NOT PAY USING QR CODE ! Very disappointed with my visit here today. On arrival they encouraged me to pay using the QR code which they provided. After finishing my meal I paid using the QR code , the money had left my bank account however the website was saying that my payment was pending. The manager then had me pay again , this time using the card machine. Meaning that I have paid twice for my meal, they say I have to wait 5 working days for the initial payment that I made to be refunded. He also said this is an issue they have been having frequently, if they know they are having issues with payment through the QR code then they should warn customers not to pay that way instead of encouraging this form of payment. Very frustrated that I have had to pay twice for my meal as it's not the cheapest place to go eat and now I'm out of pocket. They need to fix this issue instead of wiping it under the rug. Won't be visiting again!

Went on a Sunday evening. Nice peaceful atmosphere. Not too busy or loud at all like some wagamamas. Although tablea weren't full so could be different if so. But it's not as big as others, so gives a better vibe I think. Staff friendly and quick. Food banging as always, very flavourful. I had the pork belly ramen 😋

Usually have a good experience here, but tonight’s service was well below par, had to walk after being ignored by our server.

Good food, don't agree that the starters come when they're ready as sides, but policy. Servers and seaters could probably work in sync a little better, but will definitely return

Bit disappointed. Haven't been for around 2 months. Went tonight, ordered the beef brisket ramen... Don't waste your money may as well order a vegetable one. you got like a tablespoon of beef if that... The spaghetti was all clumped together and the broth was tasteless. Gone down hill. So sad was my fav place to eat.

Please please ensure your staff are correctly dressed……..being served by females in black cycling shorts was very off putting. Common decency in a restaurant setting is surely a must!

Delicious food , excellent service by really friendly staff. I had the chicken katsu salad and it was lovely. Definitely one one of the best places to eat at the White Rose Centre.

We visited on a friday tea time so it was starting to get a bit busy as we arrived. We were seated quickly and our server, Alex was very helpful indeed. I had my 83 year old mum with us who had never been before. She was a little confused with the menu and Alex was very patient and helpful. As we left, my mum thanked him for being so helpful and told him he had a nice smile! She is looking forward to returning. Thankyou for making her day.

Today I came to wagamamas for my second time which I’ve never been to the white rose one before and my experience here couldn’t of been any better the staff was amazing especially Emily who was working where I was eating she helped me find the right dish for what suited me as I’m very fussy but wanted to try something different she was so helpful and polite 😁big thankyou to her

“Impressed with customer dealing” We went for dinner with my boyfriend around 7:30 pm. We ordered 2 dishes. I picked a new curry with coconut milk and ramen (with beef) for my partner. Obviously ramen was delivered much earlier than my dish. So the lady who did service said: thank you for waiting and understanding this dish is free for you. Also manager Rory came to us to make sure we are good and apologized for the delay. That is a great example of caring about own reputation and guests feelings. And of course food was delicious 😋 Thank you!

I've been in wagamama in London before but in here everything is disgusting. Food, service, ambient..... Never again, sorry guys you could do better than this. I know what kind of company is wagamama. This is not the standard that we were used in London. Try to improve.

Very good food and good service

Always great to food and service but man has it got expensive to feed 2 adults, 2 younger children with zero alcohol on the bill.

We didn't have to wait very long to be seated although it was peak time and the service and food were very good and prices remain reasonable!

Got a take out last week, service was quick, they offered me a seat and drink whilst I waited. Food lovely, restaurant clean and tidy

Went to Leeds White rose for some baby shopping and really fancied a wagas. It was late afternoon so no problem getting a table. Our waiter Dexter was absolutely amazing! He knows the menu like the back of his hand and we decided to try some of his recommendations, I'm usually a stick to what I know kind of person but I'm glad I followed his advice because the food was sooooo good. Dexter was ace, funny and entertaining and spent time including our little boy and making him laugh. Thank you for a great lunch :)

Me and my Gran go to wagamamas at white rose every weekend, not only is the food always amazing but the staff are always so attentive and making sure we’re enjoying our food. We’ve become very familiar with most of the servers, particularly Laurie, Dawid, Dom, Dexter etc. and its a lovely part of our weekend to see them and talk to them whilst enjoying our time there. Would 100% recommend this wagamamas, thank you all again for everything you do for us 😊

Its one of my wifes favourite food chain places before you go in sit down and order you know its going to be a nice meal no matter which 1 you visit

Me and my wife called for lunch , I had a katsu curry . It looked nice lots of plain rice which was just rice , sauce was on , chicken ok , but of salad at side . My wife had a bowl of duck curry with rice . The dish was three quarters rice again with duck which we couldn’t even find . The meal was below average. Not very warm . Got 2 small cokes . The meal was nearly £50 . Not worth half this . Don’t know how they can charge this

Friendly and attentive staff. Great menu catering for all dietary needs. Small complaint is that I received my meal quite a while before my daughter so I had nearly finished before she got hers. Would have preferred them at the same time. Clean environment. Delicious food and the ability to pay online so quick and easy.

My server was nice enough, the atmosphere was ok, but the food was some of the worst food I've ever eaten! Seriously 😳 and I'm pretty easy to please. The duck gyoza were a very strange texture, not quite sure what they're made of, and the miso soup was like water with a bit of tofu & seaweed in it. Shocking! Sorry guys, but it really was that bad.

Natalia was serving us last night and it’s probably the best service I’ve had anywhere I’ve been. The main I chose wasn’t great but I didn’t want to waste the food or create a fuss. I explained I was happy to continue but she insisted she wanted me to leave happy. The meal was replaced quickly. The service was great, friendly, personal and quick.

Just loved the entire experience

Lazy staff wondering about in what looks like gym attire, I had to approach them to order and when the food was ready they just slide it onto the table like you’re one of there uni pals on a night out. Traditional Japanese my ring. Just poor !!

I have never written a review before but felt this was deserved. My partner and I came to Wagamamas on Valentine’s Day for dinner where we was served by the lovely Ellie. She really made our evening! Big shout out to her. We will definitely be back!

We were served by Dom 5 star service. Pleasant server. Lots of visible cobwebs above tables, strung from hanging lights. Walls were visibly dusty. Needs a deep clean on areas you don't necessarily see. Tables very clean, floors very clean. Just the attention to detail on the overall look

Great food not the cheapest but freshly cooked good staff

Absolutely looove the chicken ramen! To die for 🤤 although twice my order was a little mixed up, but I do not complain as the service and staff was absolutely lovely and sorted the issue quickly. Ohhh! And their tropical juice, loved it!.. If I could, I would be there every single day 🥰

Great place to eat, White Rose is our place to go after trying Wagamama Trinity Shopping Centre, Leeds. Excellent staff, great food and a pleasant eating experience. Prompt service, and courteous staff made for a pleasant dining experience. Despite being busy the latter branch did not manage this. Highly recommended

Tell ya what never been a big fan of this oriental tackle but I was surprised how nice it was went for devil child bday (not mine) and we all loved it . It's a shame we couldn't leave her there but the food and service was 5 * no cap

All the staff were lovely. in. particular, OLGA was amazing. She advised us on the dishes when we had questions and all her suggestions were on point. I and my friend will be visiting again as we had a lovely time, amazing food and welcoming atmosphere.

This was the 4th time I've been in this venue, and like every other time, the quality of food and staff / atmosphere was outstanding !! Will keep finding excuses to be in the area !!

Had a couple of gift cards. Had help from Jaz to set them up. He explained menu due to intolerance to spice food. Order starters and ramen dishes. Quick service friendly, customer service excellent. Delicious meals. Reasonably priced. Thank you Jaz and Laurence for looking after us. Will definitely be back in near future.

They cater beautifully to my nut allergy and there's so many delicious vegan options. A place like no other and with the tastiest food imaginable!

Great food, could have easily had another, friendly staff and fast service

I've always loved Wagamama food, until a recent experience where there was meat in my veggie take-away meal (not just one piece, the entire meal). I contacted them with details and pictures, they requested my number but never called. Didn't so much as offer a refund on that item. If you have allergies I'd tread very carefully. Very disappointed after years of enjoying Wagamama. I won't trust them again.

Stopped for lunch today, and really enjoyed it. Thanks to our server who was superb and went the extra mile. I have mobility issues which were accomadated without making me feel awkward. Thanks for a great experience👍

All round just had a bad time. The staff seem very condescending and the food in general seems to have dropped in quality, significantly in the past year or so, and unfortunately so has the service. I don't like what wagamama seems to be becoming. I say this after visiting a few across the country over the past few years. On another note, after visiting trinity a couple times recently, I can strongly say, it is a much better place to eat out. The food even seems to taste better and have more care put into it, and the quality and speed of the service there, suprisingly seems to surpass that of white rose. Disappointing to say the least. :(

Standard chain fair, at a fair price

Food is meh, the flavour is not what you will expect, too much ginger in everything.

Four of us went, one of our group has a dairy intolerance, they were very careful with the ordering, they went through the best options for them, we had a great time, the food was very tasty, I tried one of the new 'hotpots', I found it very filling plus extremely tasty, and will definitely have it again

Food lovely, staff lovely. No long waits

I'm a wagas lover and have frequented a fair few locations - this was cream of the crop for me. Jaz was a wonderful host and food was delish as always. Tried some of the new menu, not as good as my regular favourites but definitely give it a go if something tickles your fancy.

We are regular visitors and we visit often. Food is always consistently good but sometimes you have to wait quite a while for someone to take your order. Once ordered, there are no issues.

Fantastic food and staff. Georgina was pleasant and very patient with my specific dietary requirements. I often feel anxious or embarrassed by my dietary needs however Georgina was reassuring and incredibly helpful. I enjoyed my ramen and my wife enjoyed hers too! 10/10 from me
