Had to ask twice for our wine, bread was delivered with our starters (asked for twice) - would have been nice to eat earlier on. Starters and mains were very nice. Dessert menu was very uninspired so I had cheese course and port. Port came in a red wine glass early and was drunk before the cheese came. Cheese course frankly terrible. Tasteless, and a plate of dry crackers to accompany. I asked for chutney (the norm?!) to be told the chef has finished by the waiter at 7:45 ! Couldn’t eat it was so dry. this place still has Jason Atherton name associated with it?? Hard to believe. Had a free shot and glass of rose as a good will gesture but service wasn’t good and they are definitely short of pro staff, fans of pollen street social in its hay day needn’t bother sadly. £190 all in for two.

Lovely quaint restaurant tucked away in a quiet part of Mayfair. We opted for the price fix menu before the theatre, the menu was actually different to the one advertised online (which I actually preferred the sound of to be honest) but I guess this changed fairly often. What we opted for was very tasty especially the first course of tomato soup with sourdough bread. Service was pleasant although it was annoying to be asked if we wanted a bread basket of sourdough knowing that you get the bread with the soup anyway. We did feel very rushed though as our mains were bought up immediately after they cleared our first course away and again as soon as we put our cutlery down we were asked if we wanted dessert with no breather in between. We had said we were going to the theatre but still felt like they were rushing us out. Cocktails were good. Would probably go back but would not want to be so rushed next time.

A very pleasant atmosphere with excellent service and decent food. We dined from the fixed price menu which had a few choices. I enjoyed the steak tartar and my wife her mussels, though her portion was a bit small. My burger for main was tasty enough but didn’t really bear any resemblance to pulled pork. My wife’s steak was expertly cooked - we will return.

The food was good, the house wine carafe was also of good quality. We had the pre theatre prix fixe menu. However, the experience was marred by the maitre'd who made it very obvious he thought prix fixe diners to be lesser than a la carte. It's fine to think that, just make it less obvious to the paying clientele.

This is a difficult review as loved this restaurant. We arrived for a pre-theatre fixed price menu at 5.30pm. The Maitre’d was attentive and our waiter lovely. Order taken and starter was delicious. At 6.35, we mentioned to our waiter that we had theatre tickets and he apologised. We eventually got our main courses at 6.45. The food was delicious but we had to bolt it down. While there was a profusion of apologies, service was still affixed and the promised free glass of wine was not free.

From the second I walked through the door I was greeted by such friendly staff, they were attentive but not overbearing, chatty, professional and quite frankly amazing. I have to mention Matt who looked after us at our table, what a guy, so many positive adjectives to describe him they wouldn't fit on the review, he's a real asset to the restaurant so a big thank you again from us both Matt! The food! We had the fixed menu, which was divine. Perfect sized portions, a real treat for the taste buds. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough and thanks again to the amazing team ❤️

First visit, selected and booked by my wife and thoroughly enjoyed by the both of us. From walking through the door, to having to leave for the theatre, everything was perfect. I haven't been to a restaurant and enjoyed good food and service, and felt so relaxed in a long while. I chose the Burrata to start , with fishcake for mains and Nutmeg Custard tart. Every course was simply delightful, we have re-booked for April, can't wait.

Such a disappointing evening - and we weren't the only ones. Food took forever to come out, and when it did the food was cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen. Pork chop was overcooked / chewy and the mash was stone cold, Beef casserole was so salty it was inedible, burger was raw (not under, RAW), creme brulee was undercooked and had a burnt top. A couple of the younger staff were rude, and grunted at when we asked if we could have our wine topped up. We ended up asking for the bottles to just be left on the table. One server was having an argument with another member of staff by the bar in the middle of service. Manager was no where to be seen. Staff were clearly untrained, under resourced and under supported. Its one thing for our table to have a bad experience, but we heard 3 other tables ask for the service charge to be removed from the bill. We also asked for this, especially when we found out the servers don't event get the service charge! at £100 pp (that's without the service charge and the desserts were comped) there are FAR better places to go near here. Don't waste your money.

Its first and lasting impression is that it is cafe environment with minimal fixtures .The food was uninspiring to say the least and embarrassingly my guest ordered pasta with mushrooms and could only find one mushroom in the sauce. Needless to say it was tasteless . He should have sent it back . My sea bass was small and balanced on a pile of potatoes and other veg and thus unremarkable .We shared a sticky toffee pudding which was below average in both size and flavour Sadly despite the reputation we shall never be going back .

We’ve dined at Little Social about 6 or 7 times now. This dinner was as delicious as all the others. Our starters were excellent - I had the crab salad, my husband had the salmon. We both had the pork chops as our main - good meat cooked to perfection doesn’t have to be an expensive cut. Lovely service, a warm welcome. Good to be back.

Having looked at numerous restaurants for our anniversary weekend we picked Jason Atherton’s little Social as the menu on the website looked great, lobster, filet, cote de Boeuf etc. we arrived to almost an empty restaurant which was worrying for a Saturday night, every other restaurant nearby was packed to the rafters. The website menu was not a sample. We were quickly given a dirty, greasy, dog eared menu which I thought was strange as I thought this was going to be a luxury experience, and what we are used to. The wine by the glass seemed to be out of stock, with the waiter pushing us to a Gruner Veltner which was very nice but not our choice. We ordered our dinner to find that the lobster was missing so really could only have one starter we liked. We were then told the cote de boeuf was already sold out. really, on a Saturday night. Pathetic. We ordered our food only for the waiter to come back and tell us the filet was also sold out !!! All your premier menu items finished before 7.30. We were again pushed towards a pork chop ! I can have that at home, but really a poor man’s meat. I went with a sirloin as that was the only decent option left, my wife had beetroot salad to start followed but the bass My burrata was tasteless, not seasoned and very bland, my wife’s starters was nice she tells me.The plate we were also given had a crack all the way through it and a large chip. Me mentioned it when they removed our plates, no comments made by the waiter. I don’t expect a chipped plate in a London fine dining restaurant ! Images attached My main course arrived, my steak being very hard, not rested and the outer part of the meat bitter where it was burnt, it was also lukewarm, and not very hot at all, as was wife’s bass. The chips had been also over cooked and seemed to be the dreggs of the fryer. The pepper sauce has been forgotten and had to be asked for a when arrived it was cold. As we’re eating our main course, what we think was the restaurant Manager was stood next next to our table on the phone asking for Salmon as they had run of this too. Soo embarrassing! We decided it was so poor, with no check backs and absolutely no interest in us even being there that we would pay and leave. My wife mentioned the poor experience to the Manager, and he said sorry and looked straight through her ! Zero care given. Sorry, but will not be returning to Jason Atherton Restaurants again, always made worse by watching Mr Atherton dining in in Monaco on instagram whilst we are getting a below par dinner and hospitality

Visited The Little Social for a business lunch. The was actually really good however I had an unwelcome guest on the plate of my Steak Tartare. When it arrive there was a small maggot wriggling across my plate. This unfortunately put me off my meal as surely maggots mainly survive on rotten food??!! I pointed it out to the waiter and the starter was removed and replaced. I did continue the meal, but as I said I was put off by this stage. I don’t want to give a rating of 2 as the food was actually nice. However what I was really disappointed (apart from the wriggly critter) was that when the bill arrived I was charged full price for everything including the steak tartare. I went and pointed this out to the waiter and his response was ‘well wasn’t it replaced’. I was in shock but he offered to remove the £12 from a bill of nearly £300!!! My guests enjoyed their food but unfortunately I won’t be going back.

I was one of a party of 9 people who visited the restaurant for lunch to celebrate a friend's birthday. Having been to Social Eating House and thoroughly enjoying the food and service, I looked forward to going to Little Social. Unfortunately, the experience was not the same. My friend sent the details of our food choices a week before we arrived yet the staff relied on us to tell them who was eating what. I would've expected the restaurant to be fully aware of this considering the advance notice. I've been to chain restaurants where they have matched the food to each diner with no problem at all without any help from the organiser. The food was not particularly exciting in taste or presentation. Although both my Cornish Crab Salad - Starter and Seabass - main course were very good, there were mixed reviews from my friends about their food. The Spring Pea & Broad Bean Risotto was fairly tasteless with no evidence of seasoning, the Cornish Day fishcake was bland consisted mainly of potato with very little fish and again, no taste of seasoning. The sparkling wine Vinho Verde was not great either. Overall, it was disappointing to have this experience when the parent restaurant provides a very enjoyable one. Also, it should probably be mentioned on the menu to be careful of shell in the crab starter. One of the party cracked her tooth on a piece of shell badly enough for her to require the tooth to be extracted!

We went for an early dinner and had the prix fixe menu which is quite good value. The menu wasn’t quite the same as on the website. The starters were both tasty (salmon and beef tartare), but nothing to blow your mind. We both had the burger as main and it was rather dry with no sauce on it. I felt they could have come up with something more original and a burger from GBK is actually tastier in my opinion. The puddings were nice, but not spectacular either. One of the managing staff unfortunately had quite a strong smell of sweat about him and it was uncomfortable when he came to our table to pour wine etc. We were also surprised to be charged for two slices of bread and the wine carafe didn’t quite seem like half a bottle as advertised. We wouldn’t likely return. We’ve had some delicious meals at Pollen Street Social, but this is just not nearly up to that level.

Food was good, not excellent but no issue with the food. I’d the mussels to start and they were very tasty and fresh. My issue is with the service. I felt like the waiter was hovering over when I was eating my starter. It didn’t make sense as it wasn’t very busy at all. Then a 2 larger tables were seated. Not a huge number of people. We got our dessert menu and approx 1 min later were asked what we wanted. I asked for a few mins to look over it and was told once the 2 larger tables were being served it would take about 25-30 mins for our dessert to be served. Shortly after we got the bill and left without bothering with dessert. I can’t understand why it would be such an issue it’s not like they were serving 50 people. It was 2 larger tables that had preordered their meals. It’s disappointing as we had booked this as a treat while in London and although the food was tasty it really wasn’t a good experience. I wouldn’t recommend and won’t book again. Out of the 3 dinners we had while in London this was our least favourite and the service was the worst and it’s the only ‘Michelin’ one we went to. I don’t usually complain and this isn’t a complaint but just disappointed at the experience. I have since read over some Tripadvisor reviews (I didn’t before I went) and some of them made me smile. The service definitely needs addressed. It’s meant to be a relaxing, enjoyable and relaxed experience not so serious!!

Good restaurant for a very pleasant lunch with old friends visiting London. Food superb. Wine list good. Ambience ok - comfortable and spacious, but intrusive music until the lunch service was underway, thereafter acoustics not great, the narrow space amplifying and mixing everyone’s conversations. Service was the weak point, slow (especially so refilling drinks) and varying from pleasant and smiling to surly.

I’ve been to this restaurant quite a few times and the food never disappoints!! The restaurant itself is comfortable. My only criticism is that the service was not the usual standard in as much as at the end of the evening after the meal was finished and the bill was paid, we left tip which outweighed the 12.5% service charge and whilst we were still sitting at the table someone came and picked up the tip! Not the done thing! Have rated 5• in the past, sadly not this time. That said, the food was delicious.

Less than impressed. we all know the great reputation of Jason Atherton and I've done many of his venues, here UK and Singapore well this little spot is AVERAGE at best the food was 'OK' found it hard to choose a main course (actually two out of five of us the same) so both chose two appetisers the PRE dinner cocktail waiting time was just ridiculous, one old fashioned, one negroni - ten mins and we were sat right at the bar in front of the bartender. he 'stirred' my negroni so long it may as well have been shaken, I could have drank 2 in the time it took (loss of revenue and guest satisfaction. the second order at the table was exactly the same I had to tell the hostess (who seemed to do nothing than hostess - what a luxury these days) that they are losing money and lease speed up. we were sat right in the window so VERY close to the bar our waiter was incredibly slow, in fact painfully and totally lacked ANY emotion food service was better than drinks, wine service OK but they didn't keep the white (2 bottles) on ice and it wasn't cold to start food, well, sorry, just average and I think the steak tartar should have mentioned two whopping big anchovies on the beef, not just an anchovy sauce, makes a difference. ALL our dishes were overly salty (despite the anchovy on 2 out of 5) the bill was very expected London, not cheap at all but honestly, they need to up the game. A colleague went to Pollen St social the next day and said 'wouldn't go back' but to be fair, I'll let him write his own review friendly service, some efficiency and good food isn't always easy we know, but they lost on all accounts this time, especially the cocktail wait (and nothing was complex with those two items)

From start to finish first class. We arrived late but chef remained to cook us a fabulous dinner. Top class service and made to feel special. Food unbelievable. Best cod I have had. Wine excellent and very reasonable.

We thought we would celebrate the lockdown at this Restaurant once again. As per our first visit nearly 2 years ago everything was as good as the first. My Wife had Turbot with a fennel sauce and Jersey potatoes while I had a Cumberland Pork Chop with Chard and Beetroot and sauce. Both dishes were perfection. The staff were excellent as was the service provided. In our opinion, it is one of the best Restaurants in London.

A very enjoyable lunch. We chose the special moules and chips, 3 of us started with melon and Parma ham, one had the goats cheese with fresh green vegetable salad. All very enjoyable washed down with a bottle of Provence rose. A special mention about the mussels, some of the best I have eaten, perfectly cooked. I have eaten at their sister restaurant Pollen Street Social, which is on another level with the theatre of the delicious food offered. Little social is more casual, very affordable, lovely staff and an enjoyable experience.

It was a pleasure to eat outside in the now pedestrianised Pollen Street for a late lunch on a hot day. Although there are some building works at the Northern end of the street they did not detract from the experience and our table was outside the up market Pollen Street Social with starched linen tablecloth and simple and elegant place settings. As well as an a la carte menu the Prix Fixe menu at £24 for two courses and £29 for three represents wonderful value and shows what the kitchen can do.Starters of Italian Zerbinati melon & prosciutto salad, and aged balsamic or Isle of Wight heritage tomato, English burrata, pine nut pesto were both refreshing and good size portions. The main courses of Chicken paillard, spinach and feta salad, Isle of Wight Arreton tomatoes or Cornish day boat fishcake, peas & broad beans, chive veloute (particularly noteable) were delightful, good size portions with delicious flavours. It was hard to resist the deserts, Amalfi lemon meringue pie and Kent strawberries, Estate dairy panna cotta & white chocolate which did not disappoint.Coupled with a well chosen and good value wine list (White Corbieres, Le Petit Fantet d'Hypollite from Ollieux Roumanis at £32) and professional service this was an excellent way to spend lunch and we will return shortly.

Great lunch - had the turbot and sole and sat inside (some works going on in the alley at present so while lovely in the sun it’s probably a little noisy for lunch). Good service and tasty well presented food. Would recommend

My wife and 2 boys had our first post lockdown lunch here, sitting outside with a heater eating great food. The service is always fantastic, made a real fuss of the kids. Crab salad, steak, pork t bone, asparagus, burger, all great. Wine not too punchy and we even got to meet the owner and manager. I have been back twice in a week with clients. Brilliant restaurant.

Prix fixe absolutely delicious and excellent value for money. 3 courses for £24.50 and it includes an amuse bouche, tasty bread, a pre-dessert and petits fours. Only qualm was the water was a little inattentive at the beginning of our meal - perhaps because my boyfriend and I are clearly students (aged 21) and unlikely to spend lots and lots of money. Service was quick for the meal itself, perhaps a little too quick. We were in and out having had 3 courses in an hour and a half.

I liked Little Social and therefore was not in a hurry to try 5Social. But should have gone there sooner, as the experience was "high five" indeed. What a transformation - congrats to the interior design team. Getting out of Storm Denis' way into such an elegant restaurant ensured that my business meeting was off to a good start. The prix fixe menu (we took the 3-course option) was full of flavours - and may I suggest you go with the half-bottle wine option (excellent recommendation by the head waiter). The Head Waiter and his team were professional and charming; my guest had a good laugh trying to understand from one of the waitresses what a forced rhubarb tart was as a dessert. A great lunch indeed.

Went for a meal pre-theatre and had their prix fixe menu. Location ideal, just off Regent Street. It was absolutely wonderful and great value. There was an option for a half bottle of wine to go with it for an extra £10, which we each took. Service extremely good. Can definitely recommend and will look forward to going back.

¡Peor manager que nunca! ¡Tuve 2 experiencias horribles con ella! ¡Extremadamente grosero trata tan mal a los clientes, les grita y los echa sin razón! Caducidad Horrivel, ¡no te vayas nunca! Me siento mal por el personal debido a lo horrible que es su manager!

By Far one of the worst experinces ever. Bad service, they forgot half the food and waited till it came in, while the rest of the food got cold, no apology. Questioned why the bill was seperated and ended up having the waiter argue, that it was we ordered. Highly recommend you save your money and have breakfast somewhere else.
