got food poisoning from eating here thinking about it now none of the food was HOT, so food is definitely not getting made fresh or getting reheated to the correct temperature.

The best yet Duck rice ever. There are few four seasons and my particular favourite and agreed by the family is this one. The left side to the other four seasons Chinese restaurant on Gerrard St. It’s juicy and tender. Perfect blend with the egg fried rice. I have tried the Bayswater as well but it is as good. Service isn’t great but pretty much like other Chinese restaurants. Well to be fair they are very quick and fast but just not great with PR. Toilet is clean too FYI. Recommended!

I ordered a plate of rice with 2 types of roast: roast pork and roast duck. The roasted pork skin wasn't that crispy but the true disappointment was the roasted duck meat- 3 miserable looking pieces which were mainly bones with not much meat. I feel truly cheated.

The food was ‘nice’, I wouldn’t really go any further than that, I’ve had far better. Certainly not worth the £83 paid for 2 adults. £11+ for 2 portions of egg fried rice, which to be honest I struggled to find any egg in. The half duck at £22 was nice, but I have had nicer. A chicken hotpot cost us £27?! And 2 Tiger Beers which came to £11.50 I think. Then the 12.5% service charge.. staff were ok but wouldn’t say were exceptionally friendly. Chinatown always used to be good value, this was my first time there in a while but to be quite honest I felt quite ripped off. Treat yourself and go to a nice restaurant with a nice setting instead.

The food is great! Everything we tried was very tasty. Only drinks are a weak point here - drinks are not important here. Since space is quite limited, there is an indescribable pressure to leave the table immediately after eating. So it's definitely not a suitable place to sit quietly and enjoy for long. But the quality of the food is definitely worth stopping by for foodies. You really won't regret it.

Also, two of the waiters that serve our table, didn’t even show us any respect. When we asked them to leave one menu to us for additional orders, he just threw the menu on the table. I have known the chef of this restaurant since 1990, he is originally from Hong Kong. He must be old now, I worked with him for a few months in France. I recognize his dishes. When it was in the kitchen, it was super good, the best of the best. Now that he's gone, it's just as good but not the same, not the hand of the master. Yes sir madam, he is a master, a great master of Hong Kong cuisine. On the other hand, they could have removed the hairs and feathers more seriously. If the big boss were there, it wouldn't be the same.

Customer acceptance stage I went to this place at around 7pm and was quite surprise because I didn't have to queue, in fact, the male waitress who was standing at the door passionately noticing us and inviting us to come inside and he directly gave us a table. Ordering stage The ordering process was quite straight forward. The food came about 10 minutes after we ordered (actually not really sure how long, but it was definitely under 15 mins). Eating stage When I tried the food, I was very happy because it was so good! I had eaten many chinese food throughout my life (including roasted duck and pork) and I was pretty satisfied with the taste of the food here. Post eating and payment stage When I finished my meal and wanted to pay, unfortunately the nice male waitress was already gone and then I realised that the others don't have the same energy with him (and I suspect this is the main reason of some of bad reviews). But, since the food were good and my stomach was full, I didn't care too much about this and finished the payment process as quick as possible. I hope this review gives a good overview of this restaurant. Happy eating, cheers!

Providing bland food and shouting customer services that would bring tears to my eyes. Demeaning me and looking down on me. Services like this triggered my depression and anxiety. Foods from this restaurant are so bland that volvo have more taste than this. What got me even further was that some ingredients was missing from my food! We were beckoned in at 9pm and we thought we would give it a chance despite the reviews. 9.15pm they took our order. By 10.50 they made it very clear that they wanted us to leave. We got the pecking duck and whilst it was good it certainly was not half a duck as the menu says. It was covered in duck skin and bulked up by wontons both on the bottom and the top to make it look like a dish worth £29.50 when in reality should have cost £18 maximum. 4 dishes ordered and the lady comes with the bill at 9.30pm when we had just started eating...bill reading £98.00 (more than 12% tip added on the bill automatically). Really disappointed and not worth the money at all. The worst part was the lady standing by the table at 9.45 looking at us literally making us feel uncomfortable to leave. Why did you beckon us in at 9pm if you were going to kick us out 40 minutes later. Not a nice experience at all!

Nice roast duck dish. The dusk meat is tender amd juicy. Make sure you eat it when it is hot for the nice aroma. When it is cold , it tastes a tad disgusting. The braised beef dish is good but a little too salty for me. The staff speaks english but they were a little rude once you enter and sit at their restaurant. There is no more discount when you pay by cash. I would say they are a little arrogant and haughty and act as if they di not need anither customer once you enter as a guest, as contrast to how they are when they are at the door eyeing for potential customer. We went after 8 so there is no queue. There are some who come and takeaway their roast duck dish, which is a wiser choice to my opinion since their service is a little nonchalant.

I recently had the pleasure of dining inside Little Four Season for dinner with my partner and I must say, it was a pleasant experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a lovely warm male staff out in the front. First and foremost, let's talk about the food. Each dish that graced our table was a masterpiece of flavor and freshness. From the savory delights of the chilli dumplings starter to the steak in black bean sauce. In addition the portions were generous. What truly impressed me was the efficiency of the service. Our orders were taken promptly, and the food arrived at our table in record time all together. Despite the bustling nature of the restaurant, the staff managed to maintain a seamless flow, ensuring that each guest received the attention they deserved. I must give a special mention to the male manager who oversaw our dining experience. His professionalism and warmth added an extra layer of hospitality to our meal, making us feel truly welcome. His attention to detail and willingness to accommodate our requests did not go unnoticed. However, it is important to address a minor concern in an otherwise flawless experience. While the majority of the staff were pleasant and attentive, there was one female employee who exhibited a slightly rude demeanor towards both only my table but other customers too. While this did not detract significantly from our overall enjoyment, it is worth mentioning for the sake of transparency. In terms of cleanliness, the restaurant maintained a high standard through this visit. The tables were promptly cleared, and the dining area was immaculately kept, further enhancing the dining experience. Overall, my experience at little four season Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the delectable cuisine to the efficient service, it was a culinary adventure that left a lasting impression. Despite the minor issue with one staff member, I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience.

I can only think it gets business because somehow people have given it a decent rating. Have they not eaten anywhere else, ever?? The food is the same stuff you can get anywhere in Chinatown. I.e. not great or anywhere close. Except they charge more because of the reviews. We were sat at a spare table they had put in the middle of the aisle. In an area that had twice as many people as reasonably possibly. The table was filthy so you can imagine how the kitchen must be Wipe your feet on the way out.

I’ve been in London for 10 years and I’ve always liked it here; great food, great people. I’ve visited so many times that I’ve lost count. But today is something special to me. I’ve been suffering from severe depression lately, trying to cope with it through meds and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Today, I had to come to Chinatown late for some errands and ended up having a late dinner alone. Many places had their kitchens closed at the time, so I went here to try my luck. I was warmly welcomed by the manager and all the waiting staff, who were all happy and bubbly, which made me feel nice. Without any context, they offered me the soup of the day (which I had ordered) for free, out of kindness. It certainly surprised me and made my day. Maybe life isn’t that bad after all. It’s just magical how sometimes things play out; when I was really depressed, those small acts of kindness from total strangers hit me hard and gave me a lot of hope for what’s ahead of me. Thank you to everyone at Little Four Seasons. I hope you all know that your kindness meant a lot to me, even though you had no idea what I am going through at the moment. Best, Chen

The food was okay to us. But the service was extremely horrible. A waitress literally threw the menu on the table when we first got our table. The attitude was arrogant and it made us feel very unpleasant throughout the dinner. Those ladies inside should definitely learn the basic service etiquette. However, we were charged 12,5% of the bill for the service fee anyway. I will never come back there and recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food is very good, although both the atmosphere and the place are a bit overwhelming. We were on the top floor and all the tables were very close together, we had almost no space. Furthermore, right behind our table there was a trash can into which garbage was continually thrown and we had to be careful not to get splashed on us. If you want to try typical food in Chinatown it is good and not expensive, but at the cost of comfort. Also note that the ticket includes the default tip (Service charge) between 10-15%. This is not mandatory to pay. We said that we didn't want to leave a tip and that they would only charge us for the food and they got a little angry, but the conditions of the dinner were not such as to give a tip.

As someone who lived in China... To be honest, the fried rice and Morning Glory were very delicious, but the back ribs were too tough and the duck was just not bad... The fried rice was the worst... It was smelly. There was still beer left, but the wait was long so they asked if they could leave quickly. I spent 180,000 won on food.

Don't go here unless you want to be cramped up and squashed. I understand it's busy in Central London, but not the best for a sit down meal. Additionally, the food is not that nice either. Very disappointing. The food did come out quick though, but it did not seem to be hot hot, so more like they heated it up in the microwave, or had a lot of it sitting there to go out quickly. The prawns were not that good either. We didn't eat all our food which is saying something. The servers were very attentive. But most annoyingly, when asked to take the discretionary service charge off the total, we were told No quite aggressively. When we stated that we wanted to take it off as it is optional, the lady did not let us. Very weird. Isn't this our right as consumers? One thing I would say, if anyone intends on going is to share food e.g. Rice, noodles, hot pot etc. Also very overpriced, but I guess this reflects central London prices. Just didn't think it would be so inflated for a few bits of broccoli and prawns sitting at £16+ Also don't come here if you are vegetarian.

Recommended by Cantonese people! We had dinner here on New Year's Day. Although we had to wait for 40 minutes, it was really worth it! Bean curd and mutton stew with fermented bean curd sauce, three combinations of siu-mei, and bean sprouts in soup. They are all delicious! After seeing the mixed reviews about the pork belly and chicken pot, I thought about it and thought the pork belly here might not be that fresh, so I didn’t dare to order it. The waiter was also very nice. After I paid, he gave me an orange and a Rishi candy as a congratulation. I have a very prosperous New Year 😂😂 But I was a little confused because both of the two restaurants on the left and right were called Wenxing. The one I went to was the one on the left. The waiter also said that the two are different. Everyone should look at the menu and decide which one to go to. oh

We went because of the reviews that the place had, the truth is that we left very happy, we ordered duck, noodles and gyozas. The portions are generous and for two that is more than enough. The price is high, but like everything in London, it is worth standing in line and eating there. The service is correct, they are quick to take orders and serve.

The takeaway food had already been delivered and I had to wait for a very long time. There was no one in the store and they deliberately delayed it so I could sit outside and pretend to be in line, creating the illusion that business was booming. I won’t go there again, look at how popular the Wenxing store next door is.

We are from the Bay Area in California and used to great Chinese cooking. This was like being at home again. Generous portions, great seasoning and prompt service made for a great start to a fun evening in SoHo. We especially liked the fresh sautéed pea greens which they call ‘Morning Glory’. That, a shared basket of steamed dim sum and half a roast duck (boneless) with a bowl of rice made an excellent meal for two.

We booked this restaurant for a family gathering of 12+ people as we were told that it was spacious - it did not disappoint. However, it was quite empty for a Saturday night, we were one of two tables in this big room all throughout the night and as we were in a room, we were somewhat neglected. We had to keep walking out of the room to get attention. The food was so so and portion sizes were ridiculous for what it's worth. We ordered a whole peking duck to share between us but it most certainly did not look like a whole duck (I'll post pictures once I get them). Sadly, we went back to our Airbnb hungry, so we would not recommend this restaurant.

The reviews here are hilarious, but accurate. That makes me sad :/ Normally we go here late and the guy sees us, knows our order, and there is no problem. This time, we waited 20 mins in a queue to get in the place late Fri night. We finally get in and have to share a table with randoms. Then no one takes our order! One lady is running around like crazy, one table had a guy sleeping on it holding up customers, one table has two girls on it taking pics of every little thing and no other food is being served at other tables. No food is to be seen. WTH!? No one served us and guess what? The randoms on our table left. So did we. Complete waste of time at 3am. Why bother asking people to queue if you're not going to serve them? Ened up getting breakfast on the way home as we decided you didn't deserve our money. Hilarious service. I can't wait to see what the restaurant is going to reply to this review, as they seem extremely defensive and hurt over every one star review instead of looking internally to see how they can fix these issues. Crazy and unfortunate. All these customers can't be wrong although the restaurant replies seem to want to blame the customers. Finger pointing galore. Sorry. Go elsewhere or pick up a McDonald's on your way - waaaaay better.

There are three dim sum restaurants at this Baker Street corner and I made the mistake of picking the closest one. It's not bad, but an underwhelming experience at an exorbitant price. It certainly is not an inviting welcome; the woman at the door bordered on hostile, though perhaps it was because of a lack of confidence in her English. Our server was quiet but helpful when asked and seemed a decent guy at heart. The menu is disappointing. There are no bird-based dumplings (chicken, duck etc) except chicken feet. Several of the fish-based ones included Chilean seabass, a fish I dislike and is certainly neither Chinese nor European. We managed to find six dim sum which interested us, but it was otherwise slim pickings on the menu. Everything was good, but nothing remarkable enough to justify the price. (We have had a lot of dim sum, including in Hong Kong and Shanghai). The best was a siu mai shaped dumpling with shrimp and pea shoots. All the dumplings were pretty bland, including a crab spring roll which seemed Vietnamese in conception. The most interesting menu page has auite a few cheung fan options. There is no excuse for these prices. Most of the plates contain three dumplings and cost 10.8 pounds, though as I look at our receipt, most of ours were 8-9 pounds. . Tea is 4.5 pounds a person and I gather from other reviews that they charge for refills. It was a price we simply balked at. They also suggest a 15% gratuity, which is high for London, I think. Our bill for a light lunch for two was 62 pounds. The upside, as I said to my wife, is we did not over eat as we usually do in dim sum restaurants. But this was at best an okay experience, and not one we will repeat.
