Very confusing, this place is called Little Four Seasons and is at 11 Gerad Strert and food is dreadful. Next door is a separate place called the Four Seasons with totally identical Signage which had far superior food when we went 4 months ago. What is going on.

Service was quick and efficient, making for a smooth dining experience. The highlight? Easily the best roasted duck in town — crispy skin, tender meat, and full of flavour. The soup of the day is surprisingly good! A must-visit in Chinatown!

Wenxing is the originator of Cantonese cuisine in London. It was first in Bayswater and later opened three stores in Chinatown. Among them, Wenxing Kitchen has always performed stably and you don’t have to wait for a table. If you want to eat classic Cantonese cuisine, you must come here. What’s more, BuyMeego white rice group purchase is now 30% off, which can almost be regarded as a canteen in the city. The signature roasted meat (roast duck, roast pork, barbecued pork, and oily chicken) is a must-order every time, especially the sauce is really the soul of Wenxing. The baby also loves to eat its salted fish and chicken fried rice. It is a super large bowl, enough for two or three people to share, and it is more worthwhile than ordering white rice for each person.

After work, I went to Four Seasons in Chinatown, with my friend. It’s a Cantonese restaurant. We were going to order something else, their staff Jerry recommended their famous roast duck, saying it’s one of the best in London. So we gave it a try. Indeed it was delicious! The skin was crispy, the meat was tender, and it had a rich duck flavor. The sauce was sweet and tasty, great to mix with rice. It was really delicious. We also tried Soy Sauce Chicken. The chicken was soft and juicy, not dry at all. The skin had a nice smooth texture, and it tasted even better with their ginger and spring onion sauce. We also ordered Stir-fried Prawns with Broccoli: The prawns were big and juicy. The broccoli was crisp and full of flavor. This dish felt healthy with both protein and vegetables. The other dish that we ordered, Stir-fried Chinese Broccoli (Gai Lan) was also very fresh and well-cooked — not bitter at all. It had some egg white added, which made it light and not greasy. We also really like their Soup of the Day. They had a special slow-cooked soup. It was clear, sweet, and full of ingredients. Very comforting. Overall, the food was tasty and well-balanced. I would recommend this place if you like Cantonese dishes, especially roast duck!

Food is generally nice, fried rice got chasiu and prawn and fried eggs, roasted pork belly is nice, sliced chicken with vegetable is nice. However, what I have a bit unhappy is, the bill includes service charge, and when paying the bill the waitress didn’t make any hint of it and I thought it didn’t include. It made me pay for the service again, which is annoying. Also, the payment process is a bit rush made me take no time to review the bill. I’m willing to pay for the service, but it feels like to be cheated.

While passing through London we were attracted by the reputation of this restaurant. To our great regret, even if the duck was good, it was nothing extraordinary which justified the price of €60 for 2 (duck, white rice and two beers) and this in a cramped room, a more than cold welcome with moreover unclean toilets. In short, move on from this tourist scam.

We have gone to eat based on the references on the internet and the experience has been regrettable. The restaurant was very, very dirty but the worst thing was that there were locals eating and their dishes were abundant, ours were very small so with the 5 small dishes that we had ordered we were not full since we were 2 adults and 2 children. They have also charged us for tips without prior notice! Anyway, I hope that this review helps future tourists not to be fooled.

I ordered mixed seafood with mixed vegetables and noodles, one bottle of still water, and a can of Coke. The food was very low quality, had no taste, and ‘mixed seafood’ meant just two very small prawns and three identical scallops 🤣🤣🤣. Plus, the food was boiling hot, so you couldn’t taste anything at all! Waste of money! I went across the street and bought some delicious pork belly instead!

On New Year’s Eve, my friends and I decided to celebrate at this restaurant in London’s Chinatown, only to find ourselves in the middle of an “epic” disaster. The friendly auntie at the entrance (who I now suspect might have been a plant) lured us in with her warm smile, only to make us wait for what felt like an eternity. And for what? A cramped “prison cell” of a seating area on the second floor. Fine, we thought, it’s New Year’s Eve—we can endure a little discomfort for the sake of celebration. But then came the pièce de résistance: an elderly Chinese waiter with the charm of a grumpy badger, who barked at us, "Order everything at once, or don’t order at all!" Wow, I had no idea ordering food could be such a high-stakes, one-shot deal. I guess he was worried walking back to our table might be too much exercise for him. The real kicker? This same waiter was all smiles and for the white customers at the next table, but for us? Ice cold. As a fellow Chinese person, I never thought I’d experience racial discrimination from another Chinese person in a foreign country. The irony was almost poetic. Oh, and asking for water? Forget it. He was too busy preparing for his next reincarnation to bother with us. sharp-eyed old man tried to pull a fast one by rounding up the total. When we called him out, he rolled his eyes and sneered, "You’re really going to fuss over such a small amount?" Yes, sir, because apparently even small amounts are worth swindling. In conclusion, this is hands down the worst dining experience I’ve had in London. If you’re looking to pay good money for a masterclass in misery, this is the place for you. If you still have any love for life, steer clear. Finally, I hope this restaurant goes out of business soon, and that grumpy old waiter retires even sooner—after all, he’s not far from “meeting his maker.” On New Year's Eve, my friends and I decided to go to this restaurant to celebrate, and we didn't expect it to be an "epic" disaster experience. The amiable aunt at the door (thinking about it now, she might have been asked) used her warm smile to trick us into waiting for nearly a century, but what we got in exchange was a cramped "cell" seat on the second floor. Okay, bear with it, after all, the New Year always has a sense of ritual - for example, being taught by an old Chinese man with a bad attitude: "Either order it all at once, or don't order it at all!" Wow, it's really eye-opening. It turns out that ordering can also have such an advanced operation as "one-time". Is he afraid that he will tire himself out by taking two more steps? What’s even more funny is that this old man smiled like a flower to the white guests at the next table, but was as cold as ice to us. As a Chinese, I was actually racially profiled by another Chinese in a foreign country. It was so ironic that I couldn’t laugh or cry. Oh, by the way, want a glass of water? Don't think about it, they are busy reincarnating and have no time to talk to you. The food is barely edible, but definitely not worth your money. The most amazing thing is that when checking out, this smart old man actually played the trick of "reverse zero erasing". After we pointed it out, he rolled his eyes: "You also want to calculate this little money?" Yes, you also want to be greedy for this little money? All in all, this restaurant is one of the worst places I've ever seen in London, bar none. If you want to experience what "paying money to buy pleasure" means, welcome to come; if you still want to have a glimmer of hope in life, please take a detour. Finally, I wish this store will close down soon and the old man will retire soon - after all, he is not far away from "returning to the west".

BE AWARE!! While I was looking forward to enjoying the half Peking duck, I was quite disappointed with the portion size, especially considering the cost of 29.80. The dish was presented with a large dome of prawn crackers, but the actual amount of duck meat was minimal and it tasted burnt. Mind you I have had this for ages. This did not meet my expectations in terms of value for money. Additionally, while one of your team members except Jerry, whose name I unfortunately did not catch, handled our food in a manner that felt dismissive and unprofessional (tossed our food in table without looking). This left a negative impression on our overall experience. takeaway boxes were charged separately, and the service charge are forced not something I was made aware of beforehand. When I politely inquired about having it removed, I was told that it was part of staff wages, which left me feeling pressured to pay rather than it being a discretionary charge. While I fully respect service staff, I believe customers should have a choice in this matter, especially when the service does not meet expectations.

Good service, but very expensive. I've gone to a few other restaurants in the area and I must say that it is quite expensive for what you get. Also I did a recalculation at home based on the menu prices and according to my calculations the 2 drinks we got were about 10 pounds each (an orange drink and a beer). Since we have payed 20 pounds more than the menu prices say the food costs. Please be careful to look at you bill before paying!!! Food was nice, but the portion sizes were tiny and we barely had enough for 2 people. We spent 80 pounds total on a small portion of crispy seaweed, a small portion of fried sesame prawn toast, half a duck(which looked more like a quarter), a small portion of crispy shredded chili beef and 1 orange drink and 1 of the cheapest beer. The food was ok, but we won't be coming back.

Crowded, tight sitting area. Noisy. You need to have ALL guest arived before welcome to be seated. Dishes size are smaller than before. Taste OK but much better than the next door restaurant.

Have been a regular customer. Bought a roasted duck today for take away. Not fully cooked. Should have spent my 35 pounds somewhere else.

got food poisoning from eating here thinking about it now none of the food was HOT, so food is definitely not getting made fresh or getting reheated to the correct temperature.

The best yet Duck rice ever. There are few four seasons and my particular favourite and agreed by the family is this one. The left side to the other four seasons Chinese restaurant on Gerrard St. It’s juicy and tender. Perfect blend with the egg fried rice. I have tried the Bayswater as well but it is as good. Service isn’t great but pretty much like other Chinese restaurants. Well to be fair they are very quick and fast but just not great with PR. Toilet is clean too FYI. Recommended!

RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! Asked the lady manager something I wasn't sure, what I got told back was just a very rude response. Also, everytime the lady chopping chef was in the front, I get a very small portion of meat. The male chef is much better. Unbelievable.

Recommended for a cheeky Chinese on a night out. Food is okay and served fast. You're not going for the service etc, space (due to the prime location) is tight. I go here often and we've kindof settled on this joint after trying the others in the area.

The fried rice and Peking duck were delicious, but the dumplings were so-so. A service charge has been added to the bill, but I don't know what service I received. The staff and customers were so noisy that I couldn't tell whether the food was going into my nose or my mouth...

Incredibly rude waiter and food is ok, didn’t let us finish because she wanted to sell the table again, we were there 20 min. STAY AWAY !! Better options around china town.

I ordered a plate of rice with 2 types of roast: roast pork and roast duck. The roasted pork skin wasn't that crispy but the true disappointment was the roasted duck meat- 3 miserable looking pieces which were mainly bones with not much meat. I feel truly cheated.

Gave me mix meat box with 85% rice, 3 tiny cuts of skin.on duck breast. And 5 tiny pieces of char siu. Half the amount I used to get. Outrageously bad portion sizes/ratios. Food is tasty but you'll still be hungry after.

Food was great but the woman who served us was very rude!! That woman with a mole on her face who gets our bill and its not that busy at that time but she raised her voice at me for mistakenly tapping my card earlier than needed.

Absolutely divine food, the portion sizes were massive for a fantastic price, i ended up taking my leftovers for dinner which the staff helped with, will definitely be coming back and would really recommend for anyone on a budget or interested in trying new food. The service was fast and it was the type of food that is not only delicious but also taste like its good for you, i got the soy noodles which is much more basic but my friend got the soup dumplings that were fantastic and the broth that came with was to die for it was so good!

The food was ‘nice’, I wouldn’t really go any further than that, I’ve had far better. Certainly not worth the £83 paid for 2 adults. £11+ for 2 portions of egg fried rice, which to be honest I struggled to find any egg in. The half duck at £22 was nice, but I have had nicer. A chicken hotpot cost us £27?! And 2 Tiger Beers which came to £11.50 I think. Then the 12.5% service charge.. staff were ok but wouldn’t say were exceptionally friendly. Chinatown always used to be good value, this was my first time there in a while but to be quite honest I felt quite ripped off. Treat yourself and go to a nice restaurant with a nice setting instead.

The food is great! Everything we tried was very tasty. Only drinks are a weak point here - drinks are not important here. Since space is quite limited, there is an indescribable pressure to leave the table immediately after eating. So it's definitely not a suitable place to sit quietly and enjoy for long. But the quality of the food is definitely worth stopping by for foodies. You really won't regret it.

The food here was okay, but the service was extremely terrible. We ordered 7 dishes, and they spent almost half an hour to serve the first plate. Also, two of the waiters that serve our table, didn’t even show us any respect. When we asked them to leave one menu to us for additional orders, he just threw the menu on the table. No need to mention their attitude, one of the worst services I’ve ever seen. I won’t recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I’ll never come back again.

I have known the chef of this restaurant since 1990, he is originally from Hong Kong. He must be old now, I worked with him for a few months in France. I recognize his dishes. When it was in the kitchen, it was super good, the best of the best. Now that he's gone, it's just as good but not the same, not the hand of the master. Yes sir madam, he is a master, a great master of Hong Kong cuisine. On the other hand, they could have removed the hairs and feathers more seriously. If the big boss were there, it wouldn't be the same.

Customer acceptance stage I went to this place at around 7pm and was quite surprise because I didn't have to queue, in fact, the male waitress who was standing at the door passionately noticing us and inviting us to come inside and he directly gave us a table. Ordering stage The ordering process was quite straight forward. The food came about 10 minutes after we ordered (actually not really sure how long, but it was definitely under 15 mins). Eating stage When I tried the food, I was very happy because it was so good! I had eaten many chinese food throughout my life (including roasted duck and pork) and I was pretty satisfied with the taste of the food here. Post eating and payment stage When I finished my meal and wanted to pay, unfortunately the nice male waitress was already gone and then I realised that the others don't have the same energy with him (and I suspect this is the main reason of some of bad reviews). But, since the food were good and my stomach was full, I didn't care too much about this and finished the payment process as quick as possible. I hope this review gives a good overview of this restaurant. Happy eating, cheers!
