The food was delicious at a very reasonable price for central London. We had the Triple Barbecue Roast Pork Belly, worth £23. The Chicken Soy Noodle Soup was great, too. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Food came within 10/15 minutes of ordering. Would recommend! I will definitely be coming here soon if I am in the area.

I have been coming here for 12 years now since moving here from Malaysia, many of the staff are Malaysian Chinese so for me best Hainan chicken in town, laksa is also top and roast meats are great too. Super busy at late hours so be prepared to queue on weekends but super worth it especially after a night out. This place is no nonsense and they have all the chi town classics LSE fried rice / and unique to here Ming Kho chow fan (tribute to one of the long term staff "brother Ming’s fried rice") if you didnt know now you know.

It serves up Cantonese classics like great roasted meats until 3:30am Is family-style restaurant Established on 1st July, 1997 specialises in Malaysian and Hong Kong food 🤤 The chicken meat is very smooth and tender satisfying Hainanese chicken rice: juicy steamed chicken and ginger garlic rice The aromatic rice would be better if it was harder for my liking. We really enjoyed the Hong Kong style milk tea which was really authentic!

Still suffering diarrhoea into the third day. Suspect the beef brisket curry is the root cause, as it was served within 10 mins of ordering which for a stew pot dish was too conveniently quick. The fractured beef was probably off and from days ago. Will never visit again. The above said, the upstairs window view was decent.

A okay place to have food! The place is bit congested just like any other chinese restaurant in China Town. I got a table immediately which was good and I ordered Roast duck half which arrived in no time! Only issue was the duck was served almost at room temperature and i struggled to finish it! The server was kind of disappointed that i ordered only one dish and did not order any drinks etc. Also the bill comes with a 10% service charge, which is not mandatory.

This establishment is the birthplace of LSE fried rice, a (formerly) delicious secret menu item that’s now on full display on the main menu and what can be best described as a calorie-dense, midnight-craving dish of egg fried rice, honey and black pepper pork, topped with an eggy sauce and a fried egg. Also, pro-tip: the “Old Town 97 special noodles” seemed to be essentially Singapore fried vermicelli without the curry powder. As with most Chinatown restaurants, service (and clear up) is quick and brusque. Don’t go expecting a vibey ambience - it’s rather cramped and you’re definitely here for the food, not Instagrammable decor.

Staff are nice and polite; foods are authentic Hongkongese-style; prices are reasonable (in Zone 1). I like the late opening hours plus amazing choices of foods! There are tons of authentic foods you can try on the menu beside 'Sweet and Sour Chicken'. Cantonese foods (Hongkongese-style) are generally suitable for people who are always epicurean; I can guarantee this is absolutely different from those Chinese takeaway shops- There are tons of Cantonese-style restaurants in this area. I would recommend this one if you take a fancy to the authentic Cantonese-and-Hongkongese-style foods.

As many reviews have noted, this place is awful. I don’t normally bother with reviews, but on this occasion…. The food was cold, the spring rolls were clearly pre-bought from a supermarket and warmed up. No extras (or even any cutlery, despite the fact it was being delivered to a hotel) for £100 order. Dry, badly cooked food. Just terrible. Avoid.

Get in. Get your food. Revel in its beautiful flavours. Enjoy the lively buzz. Go. I have relocated to Asia but I always visit this restaurant nowadays whenever I come to London. Came here on a Friday at around 10:45pm. The manager Ming gave me a warm welcome as usual. Seated within 10min though there was a queue. The wat dan hor fun (滑蛋河) was delicious. The hor fun fried with wok hei (鑊氣), topped with egg gravy that was smooth and yummy. Portion was very big (with fish cakes, fish balls, veggy, roasted pork on top of the hor fun) - definitely value for money.

I had an extremely poor dining experience here. 1. The hygiene is terrible; if you want to share your meal with swarms of flies, this is the place to be. 2. Consistently great dimsum, some of the best we've had outside Hong Kong. XO Turnip Cake, Chilli Dumplings, Chiu Chow Dumplings and Duck Tongues were all great today.

This restaurant serves good quality food with a relaxing atmosphere. Service is good. You will have full confidence that your guests will feel delighted if you invited them to there.

The restaurant's prices are not simple, yet the employees get angry when you don't pay for the service, which is optional and not mandatory. When I asked the employee to remove the service charge from the bill, he told me that he will not give you a table again! Considering himself the owner of the restaurant or that I am present as his guest! I pay for my food in the restaurant and he has no favor over me. When I asked the employee at the reception to give me his name, she did not give it to me. My question is, does the restaurant belong to the employees and is the customer obligated to pay for the service, which is optional for the customer and not mandatory! Or am I forced to pay them this fee or will the treatment be different? They are really bad and are insulting the branch in London.

We ordered food on Uber eats from the restaurant. The food was simply awful. The duck was just bones and my daughter nearly choked on one. I had to throw the duck away. We also ordered beef ho fun which was also awful quality. The restaurant should be ashamed serving food like this
