Came cold and took nearly 2 hours

my food was spilled my chocolate cookie dough was freezing! my milkshake was just milk.

A family treat to finish a wonderful day off

can take a while to come but always worth the wait

Love this dessert shop, it’s our regular go to! The food is always fresh, delicious and hot. They normally deliver way before the ETA, tonight they were late due to an admin error but the driver was very polite and apologetic, still 5* service in my opinion!

My hot chocolate had a mouth full left in it as it had spilled and had gone all over my food absolutely terrible what a awful place to order from

I was a little sceptical about ordering from here given the amount of other reviews saying that the delivery time was horrendously delayed and the shop super unhelpful with refunds… however, I don’t have a bad word to say! Our food arrived 10 minutes earlier than the earliest ETA, all food was correct and the right temperatures and it was all super yummy! :-) they had some really good deals on at my time of order too so we got about £16 off and free delivery! I’d definitely order here again!!

Fully recommend and will be using again :)

Shocking delivery times first time was a hour and forty mins late second time was nearly half hour past the time don’t want to fix this issue with any money back shocking service won’t be using again it Litterally quicker to order from the other restaurant which is nearly 30 min drive away!

Ordered 2 milkshakes, 1 cookie dough and a slice of cheesecake at 1938 they said would be here by 2015. It did not arrive until 2110. Cookie dough was cold. Milkshakes weren’t great. I requested some money back through the just eat app. So poor

Order arrived 2 hours late no apology or nothing. waste of money as no one was even hungry when it actually arrived

Ordered at 730pm, told delivery would be 820pm, didn't arrive, app then updated to say 915pm, no arrival, called the restaurant to be told it would 10 to 15 minutes the driver was on route and they were really busy, called again 25 minutes later, told it would be 5 minutes bringing the time to 10pm.. Avoid at all costs

We ordered desserts at 19:20 and arrived at 22:00 when they arrived the crepes were stone cold and the box was that soggy it was completely put me off… for life

Absolutely amazing! So tasty and filling. Worth every penny.

We loved our cookie dough and milkshakes they tasted amazing especially the strawberries. However, my milkshake had a problem. After taking a sip of my milkshake I felt something hard, believing it was just chocolate or part of the shake I bit down, only to hurt my tooth and for itbe completely hard. I spat it out and it turned out to be a piece of hard sharp plastic. Had I not noticed it would have been dangerous, I emptied my drink and discovered about 20 pieces, small

Just received our delicious desserts! I ordered the chocolate cake with ice cream, the cake was so fluffy and soft, and we got extra scoops of ice cream for free! Will definitely order again :) Thankyou

Food was amazing as per usual, I can't call so can only state this here, order was £23 something and I gave the driver £30 but he gave me £1.70 Change I tried to explain we needed £5 too but I think there was a slight miscommunication, so he left 😂 no fault of his it was pretty late. However it doesn't affect the food the food was fantastic ❤️❤️

Was delayed and then came later than stated. Food came cold and stale.

Asked for a plain white choc chip cookie dough and got rasberry sauce and raspberry’s. Rang up after driver was sat on the wrong street for 15mins and they told me I was wrong and to “just get a refund” and put the phone down on me

Very late and no apology, they only sent it once we rang up. Was meant to be 25-40 mins but took 2 hours

I absolutely love this place for desserts however not one time now have I ordered and it’s been on time. I submitted the money back for delayed delivery this time as it is the 6th time it’s happened and they’ve refused to give me anything back stating “the restaurant was busier than usual”. The desserts are amazing. I just wish they’d deliver on time .

As always super happy with the desserts I got absolutely beautiful always so filling and the red velvet coffee is not over powerful it's just hits the spot. Will look forward to my next order :)

Roughly an hour late. We had already gone to bed as it was 23:55 without an update... at 00:00 we requested to cancel the order. The shop is only 7 mins drive from my house so when I had requested to cancel 25 mins before they delivered it it should have been honoured. Waste of food, money and time.

Very lovely warm food, they left a wonderful note and gave us some free gelato with our order, the delivery driver was very kind and understanding when delivering and called the phone number i provided as i am hard of hearing and struggle to hear knocking. Thank you for the lovely food!

LDS is always so tasty! The desserts are scrumptious, the ice cream is never melted and they're always on time if not early! My only issue (which isn't enough to mark them down, just a personal preference) is that whenever i order a second gelato with the milk chocolate sauce, they always put the sauce over the ice cream, where at other LDS they put it in a separate pot and that way I can heat it up and pour it over the dessert. But they're still 5 stars and I will always order from here :)

for the price you’d think it’s would arrive on time or even come at all. called up the restaurant and the customer service is foul talk to you like rubbish. avoid at all costs, moo lab is better lol

Best dessert shop in Chesterfield. Glad they have reopened gave me free gelatos on my previous order and their desserts never disappoint. 1 I recommend is the crushing crepe so delicious, perfect size every time not too thin or thick. always warm and takes awhile for delivery but well worth it.

Cookie dough was cold and just a cookie after arriving 30 minutes late

Ordered two waffles and two milkshakes, the waffles were alright however it seemed to be cheap chocolate sauce used on them which did not taste of much, would expect chocolate such as Nutella for the price we paid! Very plain and not much flavour. Milkshakes were nice though. Took around 1hour 20 minutes for delivery when it was advised 35-45mins.

Order was over 40 minutes late. Cookie dough was stone cold and milkshake looked awful. Both binned.

Food was late as it was delivered to the wrong house. Delivered 10 doors down, my neighbor had to call the shop to find out which house the food belonged to. Said he saw the delivery driver speed off when he went outside to knock on doors. Food was nice but cold by the time we got it

The milkshake was really nice, the cookie dough was a little thin for my taste. Enjoyed it though

Every time we have ordered the food is always at least 20 minutes or half an hour late.

First time ordering, had the trio box, came just like the photos, crepe was really hot , strawberries were fresh and you got loads of brownies, we didn’t manage to finish it so got leftovers for tomorrow, will definitely order again :)

The food was exceptional! It was still warm, the brownies were gooey, pancakes were full of chocolate and the strawbs were fresh. 10/10.

i ordered warm food (warm custard) all the items delivered were cold to the touch and the ice cream was melted, if i wanted cold custard i’d order cold custard i probably would’ve ordered cold food

Absolutely disgusting service, have waited 2 hours for delivery when estimate delivery was up to 45 min, rude bloke on the phone cancelled my order and no refund been issued. £20 for a couple of items that never arrived.

Absolutely disgusting. An hour after I ordered I called the store. Was told it had been sat 20 minutes waiting for someone to deliver it. I asked for it to be redone and was told they would. Obviously it wasn’t. It wasn’t even edible. The crepe was soggy and swimming in water from the strawberries. It had been sat that long. The waffle was cold and rock hard and wasn’t even what we ordered. Absolute waste of money. Avoid at all costs.

It’s such a shame because the food is absolutely great and also comes warm but delivery times are ridiculous! Waited over an hour for a small order then rang again said it would be 10 minutes still didn’t turn up until 40 minutes later.

Amazing all round, great service and delicious desserts. Each dessert is worth the price, waiting time on delivery on Just Eat and Uber Eats is good. Its never too long, and if it is makes sense why as its a great shop but the desserts are always up to its standard, always checked to see if its warm before sending it out. That's not it so many more great things about Little Dessert shop it is run by great people. Best in Chesterfield, definitely better than any other Dessert shop.

Second time ordering here - 1st time we're great. Second time, my crepe were absolutely swimming with chocolate, to the point where I could no longer see my crepe.

Ordered a few times from here and food has always been brilliant. Customer service and delivery is awful which is a shame. Waited almost 2 hours for our order to be delivered and after calling a second time to ask what was happening we were rudely told to either wait or get a refund... we ended up having to collect the order rather than risking another hours wait

Wouldn’t go here again lady at the till hadn’t a clue what deals were offered wasn’t helpful when I asked for help wasted petrol and my time because when I received it the cookie dough was cold and hard looked burnt orders three portions as well and is very overpriced for the small portions. Do not waste ur money :( verry dissatisfied

Awful! Just ordered four desserts, 3 cookie dough and a cheesecake. It cost £41.05. All tiny portions, cookie dough were cold and hard and the cheesecake was the worst I’ve tasted. First time and last time we’ll be ordering. Very disappointed ☹️

Can’t say I had the best experience, the desserts didn’t taste fresh has a funny after taste, ordered warm custard which came cold and cream which was a tiny bit of whipped cream that had melted. Really disappointed 😔

Have had deliveries twice now and never been disappointed. Their milk cake is AMAZING and I LOVE the peanut butter stack. Thoroughly recommend The Little Desert Shop.

I been there once but staff is very polite and professional the owner Kamran is very nice guy always smile on his face.

In terms of quality, it was simply outstanding. The Milkshake was just out of this world and very good portion size, we also went for a cheesecake and brownie. In the end, both were so good, decided to split them just to get the benefit of both.

Not only are all the staff kind and extremely professional at what they do the food is out of this world,the menu caters for all tastes and if its not on the menu they'll try and find a way to put it there,everything on the menu is reasonably priced,well very cheap really considering the 5 star quality of what their selling,if you havnt been here before I would highly recommend you do so because you will have a taste experience the likes of which you've never had before nor will you again. They also have a huge social conscience help those less fortunate as and when they can,unlike other establishments they are willing to help,couldn't of met a nicer bunch of people.personal preference....The Strawberry Milkshake.definate 10 out of 10.come see for yourself you won't be disappointed...
