Really friendly staff, freshly cooked fish with a nice crispy batter, and not too greasy

I order here frequently and never had a problem I rang up this afternoon and ordered it had been over an hour later it still hadn’t arrived so I rang up and asked how long my order was going to be and they proceeded to say “I’m reporting this number to the police and there coming to find you”

Chips were awful must have been heated up a few times were hard not nice 1 piece of chicken was freshly cooked other piece was hard not good I got food poisoning I think from eating their.

Really good flavourful batter used for the chicken. Extremely generous with the chips. Piri piri sauce is great too.

Went in to get fish and chips and I have to say the cod was one of the best I have had yet, so fresh and a light golden batter, chips were soft and fresh and golden Service was great and with a smile " I will be back "

Been a loyal customer with them for years and order every week, they messed up my order last time so refused it. Ordered a week later and no apology for messing up just refused my deliver and wanted to be paid by debit not cash. Wonder if this goes through the books.

Told there would be a five minute wait, half an hour later nothing appeared, they'd forgotten our order!

Never been in my life. Don’t even live in Carlisle so god know why they rang me and left an empty voicemail.

Popped in for something quick to eat while visiting Carisle. Shop was spotlessly clean, staff friendly and the service quick. Food was hot, fresh and very good quality (one of the better chippies I've had) Nice range of food available and decent prices. Would recommend, thank you guys.

Asked for battered burger when it appeared it was a burger on a roll chips not very good not worth waiting for

Just had cheese patty. Sounds boring? No way man. Melted cheese and crunchy onion. Was really surprised at how good it was

Couldn't take card payment but the fish and chips were great.

Rating 3 stars because I didn't actually manage to buy anything. I thought this would be a great place to grab something to eat between trains. Unfortunately, it is cash only and I didn't have time to look for the nearby machine. I would recommend the owners to consider taking card as they missed out on ~£10 today.

Ordered 1 piece chicken and chips. £4 with a dip included. Chicken piece Massive and tasted Good. Chips undercooked which spoiled overall meal.

Staff are great food is lovely veery good service.

The food is consistently good, delivery is good. There is so much on the menu to try and we always turn to the little chippy on can't be bothered cooking nights. Make sure you check out the meal deals at the bottom of the online menu as the savings are real value for money. Fish and chips are definitely 5* but the chicken wrap comes highly recommended also...so just give it a try!

Really soggy fish, the best thing about this order was the coleslaw not impressed, try to write a review but it doesn’t let you asking for nicknames which everyone you try is taken. Absolute joke

Ordered Fried Chicken and Cheesy Chips Chicken was really dry and had very little flavour. The batter was seasoned nicely but had a strange aroma and aftertaste, as though the oil it was fried in was old, and was very greasy. Cheesy chips were okay. A bit stingy on the cheese though, and not properly melted through.

Very nice. Did remind me of the chips I used to get in Yorkshire so it was very very nice. Quick delivery as well!

My Fish, Chips and Mushy Peas were Delivered well on Time.. Piping Hot and Delicious!! The Fish was Enormous and Batter was Exactly as it should be!! Thank you so much for taking time to make lovely food!!

Purchased a chip butty from here. Good value at £2.50, the bread butty was fresh not frozen and the temperature of the chips was prefect. The chip butty was ready within a minute and the guy gave me free ketchup. All in all a great value, great tasting bite to eat. Only takes cash.

Just grabbed cod & chips while waiting the change trains. Absolutely rancid. Fish clearly nowhere near fresh, one bite, spat out. Chips were mostly soggy. Went in bin. Total waste of 7 quid.

On Saturday we ordered fish and chips. It was excellent food. Well worth the price. Tonight we ordered it again and the fish was half the size . Poor value for money :(

Terrible chippy I ordered chicken and chips. The chips were undercooked and looked white like they had been cooked for about 5 minutes and the chicken was basically inedible. Never ordering from here again save your money and order elsewhere.

I was looking to buy something quick as I had a train to catch. I bought the chicken burger and chips but wished I hadn't. Chicken was tough like leather, easily the worst chicken burger I've ever had, probably reheated. Chips were oversized and greasy. And no salt or other condiments were given. Horrible 🥺

Just ordered fish and chips from here, I don't know what fish it was but it definitely wasn't cod as advertised. It was disgusting 🤢, couldn't eat it, chips were good but curry sauce and mushy peas were luke warm too. Never again
