Nice food, good menu and fresh juice. Bit pricey for brunch with service charge being included.

I have one word: FLAWLESS! Great food, spectacular coffee. I split 5 items (not included in photo, bannoffee choux) with my friend last night and haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. Staff were friendly and the decor and atmosphere are lovely, there are also great vegetarian and vegan options, and the staff ask about allergies and intolerances All this amazing food, plus 4 coffees, came in at little more than £30 a head. For quality this high I am astounded.

Just a bit half arsed, the food had promise and had heard good things and want to support local business but it was just complacent and mediocre. The soup was lovely but the bread was stale, the salad was supposed to come with 2 eggs and they forgot them (no reduction in price, couldn’t be bothered to make a fuss tbh) the wine was room temperature. Could have been so much better. Underwhelmed.

Brilliant Sunday Brunch. It was a bit quiet still around 11.30am (not a bad thing at all), and we could sit outside. Food was lovely, and staff attentive. Would highly recommend and we will be back to sample the evening menu too.

Was looking forward to brunch here but it really didn't go as expected by the Google reviews. First the service was really off. They just didn't bother to come over and take our order. Plates were left empty for 20 mins after we finished. I had to ask the waitress to come over and collect them. She kept getting distracted from serving us from antother chatty customer. I mean chat to customers all you like when there is nothing to do, but have some assertiveness to take priority when stuff needs doing! Food was okay. Portions quite small. Just one mushroom on the full English... Scrambled tofu under seasoned. Avocado has some browning on it. Toast was like warm bread. My brother's egg was uncooked (white runny) which put us all off our meals. When I mentioned the uncooked egg after our meals, the waitress didn't really make an effort to correct the problem and just went 'oh okay'. You'd think they'd send the manager over to say sorry or something... But nothing. Maybe if someone bothered to make an effort to correct the error we wouldn't be writing this bad review. Oh well These days with what's on offer from bougie brunch establishments this was just very mid. Won't return in a rush

Had a fantastic meal last night. Both starter and main were absolutely delicious, I keep thinking about them! The vegan options are excellent. The cocktails and wine very good and the option of a carafe of wine is also very welcome. The service was friendly and professional and the ambience spot on. A cut above in Chorlton. Cannot wait to return

Went for the first time tonight. Great menu, fabulous wine list. We both had the salmon as a main and blood orange posset dessert. garlic flatbread to start was packed full of flavour w a v good amount of parmesan. v good cooking, friendly and not intrusive service. helpfully ordered us a cab to come back to our accomm, as we didn't have a local number. Would definitely return when in the area again. metal seats might benefit from a cushion....

A little disappointing - been on my list for a while to try the food here. Went for dinner as a group of 4, the service was friendly but a little slow they seemed a bit overwhelmed which was strange as they were pushing for more walk ins on their social. The food was OK, they explained it was small plates while we were ordering. We had the beef shin, duck confit and a few other dishes - overall the tastes were enjoyable, but presentation could have been better and it just felt a little underwhelming. We also had desserts, the baked alaska, 2 tarts and the panna cotta - this was by far the weakest course, the panna cotta was served to me despite it completely splitting and looking like raw egg - again the flavour was there but it was odd they still sent it out in that state. The tarts were also very dry and the pastry was hard. Baked Alaska looked good but the textures were off. Overall just felt like an off day, we still had a nice time and everyone's allowed to be given the benefit of the doubt but might be worth assessing the quality of the dishes before they go out more often. I'll still come back and try their brunch menu though as it looks really good and you could tell everyone was nice who worked there! Tom

I ordered the chilli amalfi lemon pappardelle and anchovy. The homemade pasta was nice, it was al dente and had a little kick from the chilli. I couldn’t taste much of the anchovies though, might have been nicer if it had a bit more flavour from the anchovy.

First visit at friend's request as she really likes the sale branch. Initial prompt service. Had the soup, it tasted ok, however it was only lukewarm so they replaced them. Also thought the portion size was quite small & have seen the same comments on reviews. The soup didnt even fill half the bowl. I thought the bread didn't seem too fresh & seen another comment re the bread today. We were also going to order cake however although the waitress said she would come to take our order she must have forgotten so after waiting about 10 mins we just paid the bill & left. With so many eateries to chose from in Chorlton Little Blanchflower needs to up its game. I won't be returning for a second visit, will be back to the Northern Star or Teahive nxt time.

What a delight Little Blanchflower is and it stands out a mile in Chorlton's cafe scene. I recently had both lunch and dinner and was blown away both times. A Jerusalem Artichoke Soup w Welsh Rarebit Toast on the side was amazingly rich and deeply flavoured. You can tell this is food made by skilful chefs. Dinner was just as fab. Four of us went and ploughed through the whole menu. I love that all the pasta is made on site. Literally one of the best meals currently to be had in Manchester imo and a steal at the price.

Small portions and pricey. I had pasta with cabbage - albeit with fancy names - it didn't work. My daughter had pulled pork roll, the bread wasn't great. Overcooked chips, staff replaced these. And the smallest portion of ketchup ever. Strange. We sat in the back which had an M & S cafe feel to it.

love the brunch options from here, and the pastries/cakes are always amazing. the reason I haven't awarded 5 stars is because the French toast isn't too great, and the iced coffee is a bit of a hit or miss. the menu is also pretty pricey overall. other than that, this has become one of my favourite brunch spots, although I don't go too often because of the prices.

Super coffee + a nice pastry, followed by a very good lunch. It’s a nice little spot, with a looooooong open kitchen dividing the space up but it works pretty well. All the staff were ace, especially the chefs, which made the experience dead relaxed and easy (which is always a relief when you’ve got kids with you) Bread / bakery things all good, and the pasta dish was excellent. Will happily return whenever around the area, even if it’s just to grab a coffee

This cafe is extremely local to me, so I've had lunch there a few times hoping the service and food gets better but it doesn't. Cakes and pastries look appetising bit aren't covered or sealed in a cabinet and I'm the summer I've seen flies land on the cakes and pastries they're selling... Food quality is great but portions are very shallow. E.g. last week I ordered their carbonarra and there was more liquid than pasta - in fact there was so much sauce I ordered a slice of sourdough bread just to mop it up (paid about £12 and I was no where near full) I ended up waiting about 15 mins for one slice of toasted sourdough (saw the chef put it in the oven but then must have forgot). Staff are friendly enough but they spend most of their time talking amongst themselves whilst you're sat waiting for food, they don't ask you if everything's okay with your meal and take your plate away without asking if you're finished (I would have been, had I recieved my toast) Suffice to say I've given up on the little blanchflower in Chorlton, I'll stick to North Star.

I ordered a dish containing raw salmon and when it came I found it spoiled seems since two days minimum with a very strong spoilage smell. I called the manager to complain, she said we checked it and found it good 🤢. I left the place and the bad smell stayed on my hand until I washed it with soap twice.

The portion size and quality is differentiated and much lower than other branches. The Sale Blanchflower is consistently brilliant. Today at the little blanch flower in Chorlton, the portion was smaller and the chips were overcooked and soggy. We ordered the popular buttermilk chicken sandwich. Again not up to the standard we have had at blanchlower in Sale and Altrincham

I've eaten at LBF twice now. The first time I went with some friends for brunch. We had a great time, we were immediately put at ease by the staff. The food was the brunch food that we'd all expect, yet with added flair here and there and importantly, the basics were spot on: runny eggs, fresh bread, care and attention going into everything on the plate. And the second time I went, we sampled their evening dining menu. Fabulous pasta, all made in house. The chefs are treading the fine line between modern and traditional in a charismatic way, and it was a joy to share these plates of pasta full of luxury and surprise with my friends. I will definitely be recommending LBF to everyone I know.

Whenever I work in this area, I always go to Waterside Cafe on Redhill St Manchester 4. Appropriately named, this delightful, clean, welcoming cafe sits by the canal. Inside it is very clean with an extensive light meal/snack menu. There are deep settees to relax in or chairs and tables. People sit with their newspapers or laptops. The owners are so helpful, friendly and accommodating. My favourite thing is the goat's cheese panini which is really good quality. Go there, it's a lovely place.

Dined with colleagues. Mentioned there was a shellfish and mustard allergy ordered smash burgers which contained mustard. Waitress did not mention anything. We did not pay full attention but clearly neither did waiter or anyone in kitchen as she did apparently note down allergies when she asked but did not realize 3 burgers ordered has mayo mustard. Allergy is not life threatening but causes enough discomfort. Pay more attention
