The advertising for this store could be much better, I've only recently discovered them but will go out of my way from the costas and starbucks to come here. The coffee is delicious and the food is even better. Best part? Its quiet and calm. You can find ques going out the door in other places but you'll be guaranteed a small wait here.

We popped in here for a quick snack, it's not very big inside and the service wasn't the best but the brownies were delicious. It's definitely one of the top 3 brownies we have ever had. The drinks were only luke warm, the tea wasn't the best, quite tasteless if I'm honest but the hot chocolate was very tasty but cold. We would definitely return for some more brownies when we're back in Edinburgh!

We visited at the beginning of December and thought no way was we standing in the queue at costa again, so we happened on this wee cafe, what a wee gem, I was taken aback that it was so quiet when we were in, because it was a lovely wee place, the staff were smiley, the place was clean and tidy and there were good comfy chairs, we had a HOT hot chocolate, a pepito full of filling and my cranberry and pistachio swirl was lush too, only reason I’m losing a point was because my flat white was a wee bit cold, but otherwise a definite place to visit again

Visited Monday 15th November whilst having a day in the city. Coffee was lovely and the cakes we had were very tasty too. Will make sure we visit again soon.

One time we went there and we had 40 minutes until we had to go for our train. My parents ordered a coffee and it didn’t come until right before we were going to go. The “barista” said that he wasn’t coffee trained and I don’t know how he got a job in a coffee shop if he isn’t coffee trained. Today we went there and I ordered strawberry ice cream in a cone but they didn’t have strawberry which was understandable but they served it in a tub. I asked for water except they didn’t bring it. So my mum went up and asked for water except they walked right past us and gave it to someone else. The food and hygiene is good but but the service is so bad that you may as well walk a few blocks to somewhere like Caffe Nero or Starbucks where the food is not as good but they are quick and barely ever get your order wrong. 2 stars, would go again. 2 st
