I cannot rate this tea room highly enough. We received a very warm welcome and settled on a cream tea. The scones were warm and there was plentiful cream and homemade jam. Delicious! They support the local community bus so I’d encourage you to buy a book from the second hand book shelf in the tea room.

Lovely tearoom with very welcoming owners/staff. Food was delicious, service was swift and setting was pretty. We purchased their home made jam - at just £1.50 a jar it's a real bargain.

What a wonderful find!Cheerful Spring bulbs in pots by the entrance, very welcoming, efficient and friendly staff, and a tasty and well-presented lunch. Tea and delicious Hevva fruitcake afterwards for my husband, and a lovely warm scone with cream and exceptionally delicious plum jam for me. We were very impressed by how the staff treated all customers, and in particular the several elderly ones who were there on our visit. They were kind, helpful and gentle. Will definitely visit again - fitted in very well with a trip to Burncoose Garden and nursery.

Wife & I called in by chance and found an absolute gem. It was buzzing with, we think, a walking group. The tea rooms are full of character, must be experienced. Coffee & cake was the order of the day. Chocolate sponge & clotted cream with decaf cappuccino made with oat milk, plus an American with Hevva cake (superb). Could not resist purchasing Kea plum jam. Everything appears to be home made. Excellent quality served by lovely, very helpful, staff. A must visit.

Signs at the side of the route to Trelissick Gardens tempted us to visit and we discovered a lovely tea room in a tranquil garden with a friendly welcome…. We had a wonderful cream tea, beautifully served in an old fashioned china teaset. Scones and both our different teas were delicious! We shall definitely return and sample some of the tasty looking cakes and sandwiches.

The best cream teas and such generous sandwich fillings with AGA Ham and beautifully presented. I requested a gluten free cream tea and I have not tasted a better gluten free scone than the ones at Linden Hay! The customer service was faultless and they could have not catered any better for us. 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ the team were friendly jolly, very prompt service even when they were busy and catered to our every need. Booking advised as it can get busy! It has a garden so would be lovely in the summer months too. Beautiful fresh flowers on each table and an incredible collection of tea pots used for our tea! A good selection of fresh cakes and staff clued up on different dietary requirements. There is around 5 parking spaces down by the tea room and a long stretch of spaces near the road. Disabled access. We will be returning, Thank you to all the team at Linden Hay!

Really friendly staff made us welcome, even though we were a large group dropping in for coffee and cake late in the morning. The fruit cake, Bakewell tart and cheese scones were all declared as delicious. The children chose ice creams, sparkling drinks and a ‘ chewy macaroon’. Will definitely return.

Lovely choice of homemade cakes and scones served on traditional China; makes it feel like you have gone to a tea party in someone's garden. Parking is limited/tight so we parked on the road side. Overall great service and slightly different to a normal cafe

Had the most amazing trip for my 70th birthday. A real treat from my children. We had afternoon tea which was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for the girls. Even the weather was on our side. Would have no hesitation in recommending this boat to everyone.
