We live in Walthamstow and we go all the way to Waltham Cross to this restaurant , been here many times ,it never disappoints absolutely amazing food , and generous portions , Great service staff very friendly will definitely recommend

Came here back in June. Ordered a mixed shish. Very impressed by the free salad and dips. Shish was ok but let down by the lamb which was a tad gristly. It wasn’t the best quality. Service good and so was the price. I would come here again.

Always order from Lina and the food is always exceptional. Today’s order was a disappointment. Meat very chewy, bread was stale, and rice had an odd taste. Really hoping it’s a one off

I definitely do not recommend it to anyone. This is the first time I went. I had guests from Turkey. I brought them here for the first time. I looked at their comments and thought they were good. They wrote good comments, but they do not have any service or food. Please choose another place.

You must have lamb liver and their paça soup. Small but very clean and tidy.

Very disappointed in their wraps. They use the thick bread and not the lavas bread that other restaurants and takeaways use. £12 for a supposed chicken shish and what I got was chopped up very small portion of chicken and some onions and cucumber chopped also. It’s like it was mainly bread! Sorry but I won’t be using this place again as I feel short changed to be fair. 🤷‍♀️

I bought a mixed kebab today from Lina stove. The food was muttis delicious and juicy, the meat was cooked perfectly. Master Arif did it justice, thank you Lina, especially the new package at the stove 📦 the boxes were very hygienic and clean. 10 out of 10 from me

The restaurant was very pleasant. After reading their reviews, I decided to dine there. The chicken skewer was delicious, and I especially enjoyed the rice pudding for dessert. The portions were generous, and the food was cooked to perfection. Additionally, their restroom was exceptionally clean.

Great quality food and we like to eat in the restaurant regularly but we did not get any salad with our meal 😔

Very poor service food portion are to small for there prices and food was just about warm not even hot I ordered from the menu off Google wich is 3 years out of date apparently so when the delivery guy turned up our food was 25% more expensive than the menu stated would never eat here again total rip off

We ordered Lina Special 3 take away buy a very disappointing experience for the following reasons: 1)All portions on everything mentioned for this special are small even the rice - it’s not because we are big eaters but I can honestly say it’s a rip off; I thought there’s gold in it that’s why the price is as mentioned in the menu but found non. 2) The salad they gave us are soggy/wilted - no longer fresh. 3) Not that tasty and dry. 4) The quality of the meat is not that great- the lamb are chewy. 5)Too pricey to my opinion because their portions are small. I can understand, all prices of all the commodities, etc. went up but don’t overdo it please….don’t be too stingy. For these reasons, I will not order or go to that restaurant again and will not recommend them to my friends, relatives and colleagues, sorry…

It’s not often you come across a welcoming, friendly restaurant with amazing food. The starters were very tasty and the Adana and chicken Shish melted in your mouth. Best Adana I’ve had by far. This is definitely a hidden gem we found driving past. Love the decor it reminds me of a restaurant in Cyprus or Turkey. We will definitely return. Thank you

Exceeded expectations, the food was so delicious. The deal for 4 people is great value, you get loads of food.

We are from devon and are in the area for one night. We had a great meal there tonight. Starters were tasty. Some lovely bread with yoghurt and a fresh salad. Had chicken shish and adana mix, my sons had lamb shish and adana mix and chicken wings. Waiting staff were friendly and gave the kids a free rice pudding at the end. Great food, would recommend.

My local spot, i go here regularly, the service is always on point and the food is freshly prepared.

Meat is fine but the bread is freezing cold & anemic.. it’s usually got seasoning on it but it’s plain

Outstanding Eastern BBQ. The star is the chef a meister of the charcoal grill. Non stop all evening cooking for tables and carry outs. Managing the fresh breads various grills with spices thrown on when needed. Generous well flavoured dishes. An oasis of fine food for all seekers of new tastes. Ali's team of servers were attentive and welcoming. I did pair with the Yakut wine which worked well with our combination of mezes and my lamb shish. Nice to have a bulger on the menu and served alongside rice with the lamb.

This gem of a place never disappoints! Hands down the best Meze place in North London. From the service to the atmosphere to the food it always delivers 10/10. Mel is the best, nothing is ever too much for her to accommodate, always willing to please her customers I have taken friends from afar to this homely restaurant and it’s always been a winner Keep up the good work guys ❤️

We was the only one in there,now I understand why. No meze,ayran and yoghurt gross.didnt like the food.and waiter forgot the chips and then said you didn't tell me. Waiter also trying to tidy up the table before we finished although we was the only one in there.and very expensive.

We had a family party here. It started off really well but we were rushed out and treated poorly so that they could cater to other customers. It was unprofessional and ruined what was supposed to be a special night.

Went last Saturday there were 10 of us. From the beginning to the end it was absolutely great. Warm welcome, great staff, superb food and extremely good value. I have already recommended this place to family and friends we will be back soon.

A very warm and authentic Turkish dining experience. I was invited by a friend and it was worth the travel. Koftes, grilled fish, lamb shish cooked to perfection.

Very disappointed, me and a friend ordered from Lina Ocakbasi Restaurant two weeks ago, enjoyed our takeaway. i have been telling all my friends & family about it. Went back on Friday 11th Feb stood at the counter waited. no one acknowledged me. my wife and kids watched from the car, three staff cooking and serving ignored me, the waiter made eye contact and walked away on a few occasions. after 3/4 mins i walked out and took family to another Turkish restaurant. .CLEARLY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY IN NEED OF TRAINING AND COMMON SENSE

A hidden gem in Waltham cross. The food is delicious. I recommend the Adana wrap which was lovely. Fresh succulent meat. Arif usta has worked his magic with this place. Nice cosy environment for a sit down meal

Absolutely amazing Turkish food. Not an exaggeration probably the best text restaurant this side of London. I’m not even a fan of liver’ but the barbecued liver and lamb shish is absolutely amazing. Keeps me coming back for more and more. Also on a sidenote some of the best service and waiting staff I’ve seen in a restaurant. Keep up the good work guys!

Been once before...Went again with the wife and 2 kids absolutely really really tasty food cooked there! Staff very welcoming nice and clean establisment! Even have hand sanitisers on each table! Best food in all Waltham Cross. Scrumptious shish kebabs (fantastic marinade), fabulous, fresh, tasty kebab wraps with gherkins, truly delicious salads and sublime homemade bread, prepared with massive care. Customer service is also excellent and prices are more than reasonable. I wouldn't buy anywhere else in Waltham Cross and I have great experience of what great food tastes like.

Excellent service. Delicious food. If you want top quality food and excellent service, this is the restaurant that you need to go to.

Best meze I have ever had, the hummus is unreal (yes hummus really can be unreal), the effort is with the little touches like serving liver with the meze and flavouring the bread with the meat juices before bringing it the table. They don't serve doner with the platter which I don't mind because there is plenty of meat offered. The quail is a questionable inclusion. This part of north London has a lot of competition of Turkish restaurants, this is up there with the best and doesn't take the piss with prices like others. This place is new, give them a chance, it will probably become your new favourite.
