Lin Hao Chinese & English Takeaway in Liverpool

2 Of our local chippies closed this evening so tried Lin Hao. I had Chicken with garlic and chilli sauce fried rice - fried rice stodgy ( possibly pre cooked and re heated ) chicken was thickly sliced, so may not have been thoroughly cooked . Partner chose chicken in oyster sauce - half boiled rice, half chips. Again, the rice seemed to have been pre cooked and warmed through, chips very much the same - far from crispy - more fatty, soggy and not fully cooked. Chicken in thick slices and sauce overly salty - won't be going back there. Too much onion in both dishes

Ordered a delivery, arrived within half hour or ordering - hot and tasty. I had the house special with mushrooms - comes with beef - chicken - king prawn and char sui - all very good. Comes with boiled rice or chips. Husband had the house special sweet and sour and paid extra for salt and pepper chips. All great food.

Ordered a delivery - husband had the sweet and sour chicken and i had the chicken omelette, i asked for mushrooms in and all tasted great comes with chips and peas. Large portion and tasted great and freshly made to order. Delivered on time too. Extensive menu with offers.

Had a delivery - included hot and sour soup - won ton soup - free prawn crackers as we spent over £12.00 Mains husband had chicken sweet and sour and i had house special in black pepper sauce - we bought some sausages and it came to just over £23.00 and got free spring rolls too.

had another meal delivered. I had the Black Pepper house special - tasted really good and plenty of it - prawns - chicken - beef and char sui - ate it in two sittings as large portion. Husband had sweet and sour chicken. 2 sausages for the dog and free portion of prawn crackers All tasted great and delivered quickly too.

Had a few takeaways meals over last two months. Always very good quality and food delivered quickly. In late January and February - we both had soup to start and got free prawn crackers as spent over £12,00 Husband had chicken sweet and sour and i had the mixed meat and mushroom - not tried this before and it was delish... Really good - i paid extra to have soft noodles and husband paid extra to get slat and pepper chips with his - we shared both and tasted fab.

Ordered another delivery from the best Chinese takeaway on Rice Lane in November, We both had the soups - won ton and hot and sour free prawn crackers as if you spend over a certain amount you get them free and a portion of spring rolls. Won ton soup okay but very dark in colour see photo. We always get a selection of starters - sui mais - salt and pepper wings - along with the free spring rolls - makes a great dim sum, I had the house special ( chicken/pork/prawns/beef) in black pepper sauce and husband had his favourite - sweet and sour chicken. Delivery Service is very fast if you order as they open.

Ate again in October and had food delivered, have not eaten here for a while as last meal after lock down was not as good as it had been in the past. Great food and glad we tried this chippy again. Delivered really fast all hot and if you spend over certain amounts you get free prawn crackers and spring rolls. We both had soup to start - hot and sour and won ton soup. We shared salt and pepper chicken wings, free spring rolls and sui mais - all very tasty. Mains we had house special curry and sweet and sour chicken, comes with boiled rice or chips but you can pay extra for fried rice/salt and pepper chips. All tasted great and glad we gave it another try, as will order again in a few weeks. They stil offer the meal deals for 5 items for £16 - great if you are on a budget.

Had frinds over on Saturday in February - we had one of the best takeaways from lin Hau ( delivered for £1). We had to satrt to share - King Do ribs - Salt and pepper chicken wings and the tasted really good and good portion size. Mains we had Chicken balls in sweet and sour - House special Black pepper - Char sui chow mein - Mixed meat king po sauce - 2 portions of fried rice and 2 sausages for the dog - all for £35 (including delivery) we also got free portion of spring rolls and portion of prawn crackers free. Really good portions and even had loads left. All arried in just under half hour from ordering too.

Had another takeaway and have to say one of the best i have had. I had the house special with black pepper and husband had beef curry. Tasted fab - chicken - beef - char sui - king prawns and lots of tasty onions. Ordered fried rice with mine and everything was great.

Had another meal from Lin Hoa again in October - great takeaway and so much choice. Husband had chicken fried rice and I had the house special with black pepper sauce - has beef, pork, chicken and prawns in along with onions and carrots - so tasty. Comes with boiled rice or chips - I had the egg fried rice for a bit extra cost. Meal deal for 5 items for £16.00 with loads of choice on it - great value for families.

First time trying this chippy an last I ordered the beef green pepper and the beef was raw so my sister phoned them an all they did was laugh down the phone to her would never recommend this place stay away

AHad a take away again in July. Great choice of food and great deals on the £16 for items list. I had the house special off the main menu - mixed meat and prawn in black pepper sauce. Tasted fab and contained prawns - beef - chicken - car sui pork. Always busy - which is a great sign and everything made fresh to order and best takeaway in area for Chinese food.

Had a takeaway again in May. Chose 5 items form the 5 for £16.00 - even comes with free portion of prawn crackers - excellent value for money We had foo yung - chicken fried rice - chicken curry - BBQ ribs - salt and pepper chicken pieces. Meals on this deal are a bit smaller than standard portions but ribs and chicken pieces are proper portion and excellent value for money. Had loads of different meals from here and never disappointed. All very tasty - hot and very good service. Best takeaway in the area.

Had another mid week takeaway - awesome deal and pick 5 items for £16.00. We chose - Sui mais ( good portion as you get 5) BBQ ribs - really good portion and loads of sauce Salt & Pepper chicken wings Slat & Pepper chips Spring rolls ( you get 6) all tasted great and very good value and we even got a free potion of prawn crackers too. Various meals on this deal including chicken and mushroom - foo young etc

A recent discovery and now becoming a regular. Their food has been really nice and worth the trip from the city centre. Highly recommended.

Tuvimos una comida para llevar otra vez, ya que es una de nuestras comidas favoritas para llevar.Con gusto cambiarán cualquier cosa en el menú para ti y nada más que problemas.Comí el pollo con salsa de pimienta negra y añadí champiñones y cebolla, sabía increíble. El marido tenía su habitual pollo agridulce. También pedí una porción de arroz frito.Muy buena porción y pechuga de pollo adecuada. Hacen una excelente oferta de 5 artículos para 16 y muy buen chocie desde comidas en inglés a una buena selección de comidas chinas populares y entrantes.

This is a chippy I’ve just started using, as the other chippy near me I used was terrible and this too was a disappointment. I ordered crispy chilli beef with Fred rice and my partner got a char Sui omelette with chips and bbq sauce. Upon opening mine I noticed straight away that the beef was particularly blacker than what I’ve had in the past from various lovely chippys and restaurants , I dished it out anyway, as I had my 1st and only bite of a piece of well what I thought was beef just felt like fried tendons, I couldn’t chew it, foul that all I can say , my wife well she said hers was not to tasty and the bbq sauce was black ( black) never seen that before. So can’t give good reviews unfortunately. Staff tho very pleasant.

Placed an order over the phone to be delivered, one of the meals was Sweet n Sour Chicken Cantonese style, it turned up it was chicken in pink water. Rang them up they said would deliver something else but would charge us AGAIN for delivery!Don’t bother, will never go back here, 1st and last time if that’s the way you want to treat customers...SHOCKING!!!

Popped Lin to Lin Hao tonight Had this meal chicken chow mein insauce me an my daughter really tasty lovely food only chippy we eat from.

Really good selection - decent portion size too

This is our favourite takeaway chippy in the area. Always proper thick chips - no warm ups. Great choice of meals - from English to Chinese. Meal deal - 5 items for £16 is a bargain. Delivery very good and chippy is so clean too.

This Chippy has reopened and my what a transformation it is from old, which i went to once and said never again as it was dirty and food was crap. NOW the (what I call) new LIN HO is all different, massive menu loads to choose from, portions decent and priced well, the staff are very friendly too. Looks very clean. The only down side are the prawn crackers which are in a massive box by the till open and when you buy then they taste a bit soft for my liking. If your local want a change (as there are a few bad chippys on rice lane) this is a must.

Had another takeaway - food piping hot - chips great and fresh - service fast and still great food.

Had another takeaway in April - husband had the sweet and sour and I had the house special in pepper sauce. Includes char sui - beef - chicken and 2 large king prawns - all very tasty.

Had another takeaway and it was really tasty - had the Chicken and mushroom Omelette and big thick pieces of chicken ( not diced pieces like you get in other takeaways). Freshly cooked chips and piping hot. Highly recommend this chippy

If I had the metabolism and the bank balance, I would eat here all day, everyday. But I do nearly every Friday, so!

Nice and friendly chip shop. Great menu. And also very cheap. Best on the road. Best to ring your order through for quickness

This is an awesome takeaway ( not a restaurant). Never had a meal we did not like since new owners took over a few months back.
