Nice atmosphere on a morning with fantastic, fresh, flavourful bacon in a crunchy roll. Coffee is also great and service is quick and staff are friendly.

What a lovely restaurant, the staff were very polite and courteous, they went out of their way to help my sister as she is gluten free. The manager is very attentive and nothing was a bother to him. We even went back the next day. A great selection of food. Would defiantly visit again 5 stars

So, so welcoming, we love dining at Lillys when we're up in Amble. The food is always brilliant - whatever you order. My wife always has their Mac n cheese, with the fish cakes. i had their fish and chips this time. Coffee is always good also.

Wonderful, friendly staff greeted us at the door. We had a lovely breakfast, and the food, tea and coffee were great! We asked for a couple of special orders and the kitchen was super! We love this place!

Lovely place, food was really good, especially the tomato soup. I have to say it was the best tomato soup I have ever had. I just wish I could get the recipe. 😁 bit random too, but their pickled onions were lovely 😆

The breakfast wasn’t very tasty. The eggs Benedict were just hard-boiled. The salmon looked a few days old and was dry. Overall, you could eat it if you’re really hungry. Unfortunately, despite the nice location, we won’t be coming back.

We discovered Lilly's Landing this year, wishing we'd found it sooner! First impressions were that of a very pleasant atmosphere with friendly and clearly happy staff. Our order for lunch was promptly taken and when it appeared we had to take a photo, it was so beautifully presented. It didn't stop there - the flavours, textures, freshness were superb and we returned for more the following day. Can hardly wait to visit for lunch at Lilly's Landing again next year, highly recommended.

We enjoyed an excellent lunch here. The service was friendly and attentive . The portions were just right and the prices fair. Both the kippers and the chowder were top quality . Everywhere was clean and proper spacing between tables .

Although very busy we were handed menus within a few minutes of sitting down! In fact despite being busy, all tables were in use, our meal arrived within 20 minutes. The flatbread I ordered was excellent and as on the large side for me I had to ask for a box to take home the half I could not eat at the tim! My partner enjoyed his burger too. All in all a pleasant experience and will definitely call in again. A bonus that we could take our dog in with us!

After waiting for 2 days to try Lilly’s Landing (it is closed Monday and Tuesday) we were not disappointed. It came highly recommended and I can confirm that the food was delicious. We went for lunch. The setting is very modern and so spacious and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely visit again.

We visited this restaurant earlier today and wanted to share our experiences. The welcome at the entrance was warm and genuine and we were quickly shown to our table. The restaurant has been fitted out to a very high standard with a lovely ambiance. We both had the seafood chowder and I also ordered the kippers. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. The level of customer service was exemplary and all of the staff were professional and courteous and hospitable. The whole experience warrants a 10/10 and we have no reservations in recommending this establishment to anyone visiting Amble. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for a lovely dining experience. Wishing you continued success in the future. Neil and Julie Marsden. X

We came across this wonderful place on a pretty dismal day in Amble. The staff were very polite and friendly and the inside bright, cheerful and spotless. I wasn't particularly hungry but can never resist a nice bowl of soup. Potato and leek was on the menu board but this wasn't your usual run of the mill this was something special. Best soup ever even my hubby agreed. This was followed by a caramel cheesecake and a raspberry pavlova for me. Absolutely gorgeous. We shall be back if we are in the area again.

Although this was a busy Sunday we got a friendly greeting and good service, despite the fact we only wanted tea for two. It was a big pot and not overpriced. The decors is pleasant and airy. I have much sympathy for this restaurant which quite properly does not allow non-patrons to use the facilities and who seem to feel they have a right to use them. This is a well run business not a free public toilet.

My son was refused the toilet he is a 6 year old autistic with learning disabilities the person who approached us was rude and said my son couldn't use the facilities without purchasing and sitting down. I asked for a name and was refused and refused my child who doesnt give notice due to his disability that I just took out of a wheel chair who has learning diabilities who's classed as having bladder issues to walk across a BUSY ROAD and go to the toilet there is disgusting behaviour. I wouldn't mind we wanted some dinner there but we decided if that's how they treat people with disabilities to AVOID!! Fair to say everyone else agreed in the queue when we were waiting for the puffin cruise not to mention being against the law! Avoid avoid avoid plenty of lovely places to eat and you will get a better service and attitude unfortunately looking at the reviews my child hasn't been the only one treated this way. Very disappointing!

We visited in the evening on a Friday and after a short wait, were pleasantly served with large portions of haddock and chips with mushy peas. Th food was great. Thoroughly recommend but be prepar d for a short wait at peak times to get a table. Takeaways also available.
