Lilly Cafe in Milton Keynes

Went to try Lilly cafe as heard people saying about it. When I got my breakfast the turkey rashers made me feel sick, toast was warm and sausages didn’t taste nice… had some of breakfast upt and left. Not very impressed

it’s a great place i had a lovely time with my friends earlier. The english breakfast was spectacular and the staff were so kind. Highly recommend!

The place is nicely decorated and the food was nice. Me and my partner both had the English style breakfast. However, it’s let down by poor service and the audacity of a service charge added to all bills. You are not greeted when you arrive. You have to go up and get your own menus, order the food at the counter yourself, you have to pay upfront and go up and get your own drinks from the counter. You literally have to serve yourself which is fine if you’re not adding a service charge but it’s not the case so I’m confused as to what the service charge is even for? For literally bringing the food out from the kitchen? Or how you can justify even charging for it with an upfront payment system, before the service or food has even been delivered?

Lovely place once you find it! It was tricky but someone had told me where it was. They do lovely food and drinks all with a twist. Staff friendly and comfy seating. Not a bad price either.

Drove 15 minutes to get to here and it says open till 6pm it’s 4.30 and it was closed. Why say open till 6 and be closed? Very unhappy

Visited yesterday with a friend for brunch. Busy cafe. Different seating arrangements to choose from. Good variety on the menu. Only issue is limited staff.

Another lovely meal at Lilly. They have expanded the menu and we had the chicken quescadia and the halloumi hamas. All delicious as normal and hot. Topped off with Moroccan tea. The staff are very welcoming and pleasant. Would highly recommend.

Lovely decor. But the coffee is not good :( Very milky fairly waterey coffee..so think that needs improving as it is a cafe.

Fadl and Farsi was amazing with the service was very welcoming with it being our first time they was very funny the food was honestly an 11/10 would highly recommend for everyone to come here

This is a wonderful family run cafe. It is in a new estate which is yet to be developed but it is worth making the trip. A beautiful and relaxed interior with delicious breakfast options and great cakes. Run by a dedicated and warmly welcoming family. Highly recommended.

This place is completely hidden from view, you have to walk a fair bit to get to it. It’s nicely decorated with the flower wall, and bunches of flowers hanging from the celling. Seating is nice too, and that’s all the positive there is. I took my children for breakfast here, we walked in the lady at the front just carried on with what she was doing. We walked to the counter she didn’t say, hello she just said take a menu and sit down. Which we did, no one came to take an order so we went up to order. Desi breakfast - flaky paratha was rock hard, and was inedible, nothing flaky about it. chickpeas weren’t cooked, just emptied in a Tumeric and fennel seed water, with a sprig of corriander, the achar was a mango chutney, that’s not achar. The omelette was so chilly, it took away the taste buds, the halva was swimming along on oil couldn’t taste anything as taste buds were finished by the omelette. Pulled chicken tacos - I’m sure there was some pilchards fish in here as it tasted more fishy than like chicken, not nice at all Tuna panini - was not made properly it wasn’t kept under the panini maker long enough. Chai latte - coffee with drenched with cinnamon powder. My saucer had a blue liquid on it, not sure if it was washing up liquid or what. Spanish latte- standard coffee Iced Spanish latte - watered down coffee. The food came out in dribs and drabs, 4 people working and they weren’t even busy it was only us. A table on the side of us had finished and no one bothered clearing the table. This could be a good place but they need an experienced person at the front of house, that can greet guests and make them feel welcome with a smile. What a waste of a Friday morning. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough, cakes looked nice but read a review and saw a picture of how stale they were so didn’t bother.

Honestly the best breakfast with the family you may find in this area, prices are affordable compared with other places. For sure will have other visit sooon. Thanks to all the staff

I would Highley recommend this cafe as they have vegan options and they specialise in halal food. They also have a very beutiful design with great drinks and deserts. Their staff are so polite and nice and thanks to fadle for helping us out today . I came from Kuwait and this is the best cafe I went to in mk. Ahmed eljret

The food are amazing the drinks are great nice atmosphere lovely decorations and the service is wonderful they treated us kindly with a smile on face they have been quick and kind to the children I recommend this place to visit again ..

I had a Oreo milkshake (YUM) and a slice of red velvet (AMAZING) I will definitely go there again and it is a bit hard to find but great all the same

Fiest time I have visited, nice inside and staff. Given 3 stars as BE AWARE, I ordered 2 teas and apparently they slap on service charge on everything but not mentioned on menu.

First class service, staff very helpful, I have to thank Ahmet as he was very helpful, food was first class, and also had food off the menu

Visited for brunch with a group of friends. Very pretty decor and nice service. Food was great as well. Very “instagramable” little place. Will be returning soon!

Finally found this cafe after not very good signage ,but sadly won't be returning ,after ordering 2 americons & 2 slices of cake & checking the receipt I found there was a service charge put on of 87 p 🙈which obviously wasn't mentioned @ the time of payment.Even without the extra charge their prices are higher than you would expect . Also the cleanliness of the flooring under the tables needed attention.

Wow! What a find in MK. Fantastic food, wonderful flavours and truly authentic recipes from around the world. We had Musakhan and Shakshuka which were delicious! We will most definitely return. Follow the many signs to an absolute treasure chest of culinary wonders!

Great restaurant, very delicious breakfast. The restaurant is arabic themed and the arabic food in the menu was very nice and tasty.

This is my second visit to Lilly caffe and I am so happy with the food and service there. I have tried middle eastern breakfast and it was so delicious. Mint tea and Turkish coffee was amazing.

Really enjoyed my time here,the food was very nice and was a unique blend of Pakistani and Palestinian food. Highly recommend whether you are familiar with either cuisine or not. The decor is also very nice, great for families as well as young people.

Just been to lily cafe for our anniversary and had a fabulous time. The food was super delicious, especially the Middle Eastern breakfast and the mock tails. Compliments to the lovely manger for the service. I highly recommend it to the couples and family’s.

Such a lovely and picturesque place. I’ve never seen a cafe as pretty as this one!!! The menu has such a large variety of unique and authentic middle eastern dishes which are freshly made in the kitchen and the staff are very helpful and friendly!!
