We got some ice creams and doughnuts from here whilst we were strolling along the sea front. The doughnuts were quite nice but the ice cream was awful - totally flavourless and full of big chunks of ice. I actually ended up throwing it away!

Popped in here for an ice cream on a day trip to Margate. There was quite a queue for the ice cream but once we got our ice creams we realised why, they was lovely. There was plenty of different flavours, it was quite expensive though.

After a long drive to Margate (our first time here in years) and struggling to find a place to park, the wife, my two teenage sons and myself made our way round to the seafront from our car, looking for a ice cream and snack before heading to the beach. We was disappointed to find that our usual port of call, the wimpy, was no longer there, so we joined the queue at a place I'd not seen on my last visit, Lifes a beach. Or as I now refer to it, 'Lifes waiting in a fairly long, slow moving queue with the eventual outcome of being served by a cantankerous little man' We spent a good fifteen minutes in this queue, how and why it took this long is one of lifes great secrets, up there with 'what really happened to flight MH370?' & 'Who shot JR?' But alas, I eagerly awaited what I hoped was going to be a delicious ice cream. Unfortunately what awaited me was the news that the Whippy machine was out of order - not the only thing that was out of order, may I add. The man serving on the counter abruptly told me that there was 'other ice creams to choose from' before then making eye contact with the next customer, charming! So I chose a flavour of the Deluccis gelato ice cream on offer, as well as for everyone else and a portion of donuts. I had a rum and raisin ice cream, which tasted like some mildly flavoured milk that I can only assume no longer talks with Raisin, or at the very least, occasionally talks. Imagine Simon & Garfunkel as an ice cream flavour... This pile of disappointment was served on a basic whippy cone (I'm guessing they had sold out of proper wafer cones, but never mentioned anything?) By this point, the disappointment was coming thick and fast. That ice cream unfortunately died an undignified death after it was promptly posted into one of the bins, along with both of my sons ice creams. The only one who finished their ice cream was the wife, but her palette is about as refined nails scraping down a blackboard. I've literally seen her eat a tin of Heinz spaghetti cold out the can, so her opinion here is about as useful as an ashtray motorbike. The donuts proved to be a failed sequel, much like the Godfather part 3 - these things were so dense and heavy that you could use them as ballast on a super tanker. I later felt like a victim of Bernie Madoff when I discovered that the same portion size on the beach was £1.50 cheaper. This would of all been forgivable if the service itself was good, but as a customer, I felt about as appreciated as a Morris dancer in a library. The man serving was smarmy, sarcastic and blunt in answering my questions, the staff slow and incompetent and the place generally felt about as sea-sidey as St Petersburg. Rubbish food, rubbish service. Go somewhere else.

Stood in the queue for an ice cream for 15 minutes. As we got near to the front, I could not see a Mr whippy machine, so I asked a chap if they sold 99's. He said yes. As we got to the front of the queue, I watched as he turned to his colegue, and in a sarcastic manner said "some guy just asked if we do 99's and I was like yeah, duh:" I then said thanks for taking the piss, do you actually sell them, and he said no. What a well manner prick, who thought it was a good idea to waste people's time making them queue for something they don't sell, and then be rude about it.

My son has allergies and the staff went out of their way to ensure he could eat his favourite flavour safely. Ice cream is good quality and I would visit again for the fantastic service from the husband and wife team and helpers.

I brought my two children to Margate to play crazy golf during the holidays. After that, my son asked to try an ice cream. He is almost six and has Autism. He has a very restricted diet and had never tried ice cream before. He chose a strawberry one and he loved it! My daughter had never had ice cream before either and she enjoyed hers as well. There are so many flavours to choose from! We will be back soon.

We were on a holiday trip and landed in Bristol for local tour. While we pass by the city central, we found this cozy Indian restaurant. When we entered for dinner, we were welcomed by the staff with warm smile and that initial moment made us comfortable to dine in. The menu looks pretty straight forward with choice of Starter, main course, sides & choice of beverage. Trust me the food is really great and a great palate to your taste buds. The team showcased "Atithi Devo Bhava" ( Treating guest with same respect you give to God). We were suggested fewer menu options and the choice of beverage (Alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Trust me the food is really great. If you want to try an Indian street food with family and friends this is the best in town as per my experience. Give a try to this place and I'm sure you will make one more visit to this place. They have a great menu and refer the latest image I have uploaded. They do organize outdoor events and bulk bookings as well. Quick reference guide: 1. Avg meal per person: 25 - 30pounds 2. Food served are freshly prepared 3. Any allergens notify prior to order 4. Restaurant have clean rest rooms 5. Bar service - Yes 6. Staff behavior - Excellent 7. Take away - Yes 8. Delivery - By 3rd party 9. Family seating table - Yes

We’d had a busy afternoon so didn’t feel like cooking, had always wanted to go in every time I drove past. Well worth stopping on a cold, wet night. Warm, cosy little restaurant and a friendly welcome. Delicious home cooked cipolla with red onions and balsamic. I had linguine mediterranea - piping hot and tasty; my husband chose tagliatelle tartufa, again very enjoyable. Could work our way through the menu of pasta, pizza and tagines. Great place, thank you.
