Lido Royal Cafe in Blackpool

4 of us went for a small scottish breafast . Waited about 25 min . When it came plate was on was not big enough. Food was all cramped. Food all tasted deep fried. All of it was dark in colour. Asked for bacon crispy. It was but black in colour. Eggs brick hard, lorne sausage cheap tasting as were beans. Potato scones thick with grease again dark in colour. .Tinned tomatoes, only 1 ate it all. Rest left it. It repeated on you all day . Told waitress this and she agreed said most is deep fried. Fat needed changed hence colour. Told her shouldve got money back as pay when order. Even toast was not brown. . Only nice thing was staff. Lady went for green tea for friend .Would not recommend to anyone.

Lido Royal Cafe is an absolute gem! The food is incredible. The staff's warmth and attentiveness add a personal touch, making every visit memorable.

Highly recommend this cafe, we called in several times on a recent visit to blackpool, very tasty breakfast indeed, nicely presented and also excellent value for money, will certainly return on our next visit, its Great!

Having to unexpectedly find breakfast on a out of season Sunday morning wasn't easy and our hanger was accentuated by the apathy at this cafe. Chairs still on tables it was a struggle to get noticed. Order taken 2 more customers entered but were completely ignored by the assistant who went to the shop for plasters for the cook! Food served which was freshly cooked but the beans and tomatoes were lukewarm so spoilt. The potential customers left without being acknowledged. Paying a visit to the loo there wasn't any toilet paper and the bin was overflowing, unacceptable early on a quiet day. We left without being noticed. This is a nicely refurbished establishment but has none of the old charm held by previous proprietors.

Breakfast was burned and not worth the high cost of it i won't bother coming back to this establishment

Visited for breakfast after seeing all the great reviews on Blackpool Takeout Reviews. I’m afraid we left feeling disappointed. Bacon was overdone and burnt, sausage tasted cheap, hash browns didn’t have a nice taste at all and the toast came out 10 minutes after the breakfasts! Eggs were cooked well though and the beans were nice. Really, it was a below average breakfast, nothing to shout about…. Apart from the coffee. That was decent. Tables were really sticky too. 2/5.

Went in tables felt greasy and sticky, moved 3 times all the same, walked out! A bit of advise clean the tables.

I ahve had many meals from Lido Cafe and I have never had any complaints fresh cooked home made food. Staff very Helpful.

I cannot reccommend this place higly enough, The food is always delivered fresh, Hot and flavoursome, I have and will always go back here for either a dine in experience or a take-away. Very well done guys, and thank you for a delicious meal.

Found this cafe as my twin brother Stephen and I were wandering around this part of town and what a great time we had. A cute little cafe ,nice decor and furnishings, nice staff, spotlessly clean, its a really cool cafe . We were here on a Thursday morning, we track and traced and sanitised our hands and got a coffee each ,coffee's were so good,from the first sip till the last sup you can tell they use quality ingredients in their coffee and take great pride in the coffee they serve, never tried the meals on offer ,wish I had as they looked and smelt delicious, most certainly will when I go to Blackpool again. We moved on after our coffee and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to Lido Royal Cafe we were totally impressed. Lido Royal Cafe is easy to locate along Lytham Road. Opening hours are Monday to Sunday, 8am till 3pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Ordered food and can honestly say I have never in my life seen a burger so raw. No-one answers when you ring to complain as they know thats the only time it does ring. Rip off scum who just take your money. Do not eat from here, protect yourself and your family.

Just orders on line WOW Arrived on time, piping hot and great food. Deliver came all in separate containers so you could serve it how you like great idea. Deliver person was friendly and delivered to the door. Thankyou will be ordering again

Me and my family stopped here on the way home from our beach break, best café I've ever eaten at hands down. SO impressed

Cup of tea weak had 2 wait 10 mins they ran out of milk counter assistant had 2 go 2 shop had a toasty they had no garnish she was rude asked if wanted money back or don't come in again go somewhere else disgusting attitude owner was rude 2 he told us not 2 come back tables are always dirty never fill condiments up they let all dogs in big and small it takes them an hour 2 do barns and a toasty regardless of it being quiet or busy wouldn't recommend it 2 anyone.

In Blackpool on business and decided to have breakfast. Ordered a large Full English with tea and toast. excellent all cooked to perfection and plenty of it, staff very pleasant and service very good,will be calling again

Nearly passed this on our way to a large chain restraunt.. so glad we turned back... good quality food... hot on the plate... good quick service without pomp and ceremony.. well priced, spotlessly clean and a calm environment. The wee place is a GEM in Blackpool and should be visited... we will be back... well done.

My Mum & I come in here at least twice a week. The food is always piping hot & very reasonably priced & the family owners are lovely (Ron, Debbie, Ronnie, Lee & Sam) and make you very welcome every time. The regulars are very friendly & my daughters goes in too. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for good food at great prices.

It's the cleanest cafe around food is good too with clean toilet facilities and good prices will be here often

Warm and inviting. Very clean and the staff are friendly. Food freshly cooked and tasty. This was our second visit and we will come back on our next trip to Blackpool

Been to a few cafes in Blackpool but this one is by far the best. Cleanest I’ve been to Friendly staff great food value for money. Milky coffee for £1.20. Will definitely be returning here

I've been too South shore many times and been I'm the same cafe over and over, found this place round the corner & it is by far the best cafe in South shore, cheapest & best quality! Staff are very friendly as it is family run & they allow dogs too! Clean & tidy, food is at its best standard, highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Called in the other weekend whilst staying in Blackpool, me and my partner had 2 Full English Breakfasts and a cup of coffee came to £12, food and service was excellent will be calling again no probs.

I took my granddaughter to Lido Royal Cafe, service was very poor, waiter came out with orders and kept going to the wrong table. I ordered 2 meals and only got 1, just couldn't be bothered to say anything, because as soon as he put the order through to the kitchen he went and stood outside chatting to the locals at the tables. The chef came out with the order put it down, no serviettes and he then proceeded to go outside and stand with the waiter, blocking the door way. After about 20 minutes when we were ready to go, neither the chef or waiter had checked with the customers inside, both just stood outside, when we went to go out we had to ask them to move, they just looked and moved slightly out of the way, no thank you or did you enjoy the meal. I would never recommend anyone going here, the owners before were very attentive and never went out the front, they ensured all customers were fine. Total lack of respect for paying customers more interested in the local gossip and shouting to people they know walking around the area. Absolutely disgusted, sorry to say, but I will never step foot in there again!!!!

We walked in with a raging hangover on Saturday morning gasping for refreshments and this lovely little café did not disappoint. Nice service, very tasty sandwiches - no fuss! I would go back - my Bacon & Egg sandwich was one of the nicest ive had.....
