Excelente pausa para el desayuno de café, té y tostadas para nosotros los caminantes antes de salir hacia las colinas. Precioso lugar junto al estanque sin lujos.

First time visit to Duck ponds cafe after a trail walk around the amazing lickey hills. Stopped for a cup of tea before heading off home, Paid £3.60 for dish water I could not drink it had to throw it away. Don’t bother visiting after a walk I don’t normally put comments on social media but I hate wasting hard earned cash

Both food and service were very poor today. 30 minute wait for vile tasting (home made) soup. Couldn't care less attitude from staff. A shame because the menu looks tempting enough and the lickey hills are fabulous.

Spent a lot of my younger days in and around here. Now go with a one year old who loves to see all the birds, feed them and have a great run-around. Perfect place to go that's nearby and easy to access. Always stop for a drink at the Duckpond cafe-lovely people with good coffee.

A hidden treasure and been a lifeline during lockdown. Selective menu and reasonably priced for area. Fast turnover and lovely food for a light lunch in picturesque surroundings.

Father in law recommended this place, we didn't even know it existed. Thought it was shut as couldn't find any recent reviews and it is well hidden if you don't know it is here. Parking available. Menu was quite extensive (see pic), they do hot lunch meals as well as breakfasts. We enjoyed bacon, egg and sausage sandwiches and tea in the cafe which was a bit basic but perfectly adequate. You can also get served at an outside hatch if you want to take away. Friendly enough place (not so much if you go around to the clubhouse needing the loo - but at least there is a loo). Will visit more regularly now we know it is still open.

Just popped in for a quick sarnie before heading to the football. It's a bit shabby, but the food was lovely and they make a real nice cup of tea. It's clean and tidy with beautiful surroundings. Give it s go.

I had a couple of hours to kill and popped into this café for a bacon & egg sandwich and it really hit the spot. Very friendly service and a lovely cosy and clean café next to the duck pond, well worth a visit if you are near the Lucky hills. It was lashing with rain on the day I visited and the golfers next door were enjoying the sanctuary that this place provides.

Freshly cooked food none of this reheated rubbish. Have been going there for Sunday breakfast for years and never had a bad thing to say. Simply the best cooked breakfast in Birmingham says us ☺

The food is excellant and very reasonably priced. It is quite a private atmosphere and well worth sampling the breakfasts. I hope the place prospers. It is small but personel and friendly

Ordered via Uber eats & after 2 hours still hadn’t arrived. Called to get a refund and had the phone put down on me. Rude staff, no breakfast & still waiting for my £20 refund

The Sunday roast beef lunch was so small we thought it was a child's portion. 3 very small paper thin slices of bought in slice beef from the supermarket if it weighted 3oz you would be lucky. The plate arrived with Yorkshire pudding hiding the slices with the gravey on it but we then waited for the veg by which time all had gone cold. This was a complete Faulty tower. You couldn't make it up. Will certainly not be going back. And £18 for a cheap bottle of wine. NOT A PLACE TO VISIT.

After a long journey to Alvechurch Marina we were pleasantly surprised to find a pub on the doorstep before setting off on a weeks cruise on The Birmingham & Worcester Canal. We were more than disappointed to find no food available on a Saturday evening and to compound our woes a canal side pub that doesn’t allow dogs, What is that all about? Anyway we ventured into the village and found a lovely meal, superb beer, hospitality and a welcome for the hound. As for The Weighbridge NO.

We have been using this venue for ages and it never fails to please. Some time since our last visit and now under different management but good and service were as good as ever. We understand that hospitality is suffering and the menu now offers a reduced choice but no real problem. The only criticism is that the dining room was so cold! Several diners wore their overcoats throughout. We will return in warmer weather. Otherwise five star.
