Real shame . Went to go in at 10.33 pm on a Friday night . Got told that place was closed to then have a group of girls may be 6 all with IDs. Let in. Bit of a poor show for a city centre bar . Only 2 of us . 3rd drink so no question of being drunk our disorderly. Obviously if your over 40 . Not welcome.

Bit quite when we visited but it was early afternoon 🍻 great range of cocktails at 2 4 1, and we evn had a voucher given to us outside for a free shot 🥴. Quite a quirky place with a few different rooms off the main hall as you enter.

First time of visiting this bar. Staff member on duty very pleasant, however no red wine available. Disappointing especially in the centre of Newcastle

Nothing special about it. Place must be built on an ancient Indian burial ground or something because every establishment here is just "meh".

£6 for a pint of Guinness. Smells of bleach inside and no atmosphere. Putty because the building is very nice.

Didn't eat here, but staff very friendly quick service . Well worth popping in you won't be dissapointed, cocktails are great.

Staff fantastic but seats and tables sticky

A dog friendly pub in town! Good location in town, has good 2-4-1 deals on cocktails. Great location in town. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Visited on a Monday night, very peaceful and pub was quiet. Doesn’t seem to be as well known to be dog friendly but dogs were happy to go. We will be back

It's expensive £13.50 for 2 ciders that beats London prices.

Fab for events/balls - we had an amazing time, the student deals for drinks are amazing and the staff were super helpful, eapecially Rachel!

The venue hosted a University Ball for us last night. The whole process from booking to the event was managed and organised seamlessly. Rachel and her staff looked after us extremely well and we had a fantastic night! I would definitely recommend this venue!

Went in for a quick pint and a snack after work, somehow I was able to pay for some onion rings and then was (30 mins) later informed that the kitchen was shut! Not sure how that happened but downstairs staff were very apologetic, offering me another beer & a bag of crisps on the house as well as a refund on the onion rings. Thanks folks, great service

An idle Tuesday evening during my summer shutdown it was. The joint was pretty dead. I was in the drinking zone. City central beers seemed fair enough, which I rarely score. It's been very recently refurbished and it did look good: not GQ Mayfair quality but certainly absolutely fine. If the weather is ok then outside you can be. I fired down two Caffrey's and watched the live cricket on gargantuan screens of 4k Definition. If the joint stays respectable when the crowds return then pop in.

Came here for 2 friends engagement party and it was a brilliant night with great atmosphere. Bar staff were lovely

There used to be a decent menu. It’s now very limited. We had wraps and they were quite nice.

Fantastic apart from lack of food which sign says they serve all day other than that we met the best manager he made us feel right at home we spent most of our hen wkd here love the place

Lovely venue and really friendly staff. Location is perfect as well - really easy to get to close to metro and train station. 10/10 would recommend.

Lovely place, just a shame about the manager. Extremely rude not to mention scruffy individual who refused me entry for no apparent reason. Possibly racially motivated ? One to avoid, there are plenty of other far more welcoming places to visit in Newcastle.

Went on Saturday after the match with my husband. Interior was lovely, definitely instagramable! Drinks were some of the best I’ve had since living in Newcastle, and prices were also great! Staff were incredibly friendly as well and service was quick. Altogether 10/10 place couldn’t recommend more, will be coming back and mentioning to friends. xx

Walked out. Saturday night 630 thought we'd try this bar after some shopping. It wasnt very busy yet the bar service was dreadful. Plenty of staff but unorganised and had no interest in who had been waiting. After 20 mins of waiting to be served we quit and went elsewhere.
