Wonderful welcoming atmosphere, delicious food and brilliant service.

Food was excellent would highly recommend. Great value too 👍

Food was OK, server seated us then disappeared for more than 15 minutes to ask if we wanted food & drinks. Might be back, might not.

Food tasted ok but my daughter !.(who isn’t a big eater) her potion was so small I thought it was a child’s it was a pasta dish and only just covered the bottom of her dish IShe was still hungry and had to eat when she got home

Expensive but very nice. Waiters seemed keen to get us out sharpish, even though we spent best part of £200 on a table 8!

Warm and welcoming. Popular, but not crowded. A wide range of food: steak, pizza, pasta, burgers, risotto and I had pork belly which was generous and excellent. Attentive and helpful staff. Good coffee. 😀

Funky place, Food was great. Service super, catered for allergies well and felt comfortable eating here. Tom was very helpful checking out with the kitchen what was and wasn't suitable. The cocktails were well made. Will definitely return here on our next visit.

We often make the 25 mile round trip to eat here. Fantastic food at a reasonable price in a non fussy, lively atmosphere.

Level is a lovely bar/restaurant down Newland Avenue. The food and drinks are always highest quality, would highly recommend

Hi guys! Got a good one for you today! Attended level for lunch and I was blown away! For starters I got the dough balls with mozzarella and they were absolutely Devine.came out within 5minutes of being ordered,cooked to perfection and so tasty. The photo does it no justice. For mains I ordered the cheese burger with fries,the burger was a little bit over cooked but was still very nice,fries were cooked well but lacked seasoning. Staff were really friendly and attentive.atmosphere was welcoming will definitely Recommend. 9.2/10 Plus one side reviews

Only a quick stop for coffee & cake but always a great experience. I highly recommend the 🥕 carrot cake.

A local favourite that I've visited for years. Casual place with a classy atmosphere, great for cpls, small and large groups. Drinks area for those not eating, cocktails are delicious. Huge choice on the menu, all of which I've tried cooked with care using good quality ingredients. I love their wild mushroom dishes. Highly recommended. Tasty & good value & always service with a smile.

The food was horrific, ordered chicken wings which tasted like they were just boiled, ribs were disgusting tasted like dry dog. Also 15 quid for a jar of “cocktail” which literally had no alcohol in just lemonade. It was pricy and on top all of that everyone felt sick and pain in stomach afterwards. AVOID this place!

Great place to dine out for a special occasion

We had an old work colleagues get together at Level, service, food and atmosphere were very good. There was 21 of us and it just flowed thanks for making it special.

I’ve just visited level with my daughter for her birthday. The food was superb and the young lady that served us was so lovely, friendly and attentive. We couldn’t have asked for better food and service. 10/10. We will definitely be going back.

Visited yesterday for dinner , and what a fab time we had , great customer service as always and amazing food , I had the ricotta & spinach tortellini which was amazing and my partner had the salmon pasta which he really enjoyed, one of the best restaurant in Hull in my opinion 👍

It was ok, very busy and very loud, hard to talk to those on the table. Food was ok, chips were a bit too salty as I'm a person who doesn't tend to add salt to things but it was already on them when they arrived (not great if you have to have a low sodium diet etc) Sandwich was tasty and coffee was good. The service was ok, friendly enough. Would go again but when a little quieter so we could enjoy it more

Neither great or bad, middle of the road. Bit rowdy outside with big fellas shouting and swearing... Service was good and time to food also good.

What a great place and a fabulous selection on the menu. 👌 The staff were very lovely, smiley and happy.😊 I went for halloumi salad and mum had risotto. Both delicious.😋 Worth a visit for lunchtime specials. Ill defo go back 🥙🍲🥤 My only criticism was there was a rather loud man who had his phone on loud speaker while he was eating his food so whole restaurant could hear, maybe the staff could have had a gentle word. 🤔

Ordered beef stroganoff. Very disappointed when it came few chopped up mushrooms 4 thin pieces of beef no bigger than my small finger nail in a sauce with 10 chunky chips. £16.00. The stars was for the great staff not the food.

Great food and service, reasonable prices.

Overall night was good but the food wasn't great. We had starters of pesto garlic bread, calamari and halloumi. The calamari and halloumi were undercooked and almost pappy but the garlic bread was delicious. Mains were pork chops which were cooked to perfection and the smoking bandit burger was also declared as tasty however the fishcakes were dry,dense and inedible.we left feeling quite disappointed as we have eaten here a few times and it's always been lovely

Good food. Extremley npisey, not a, relaxed lunch. Not sufficient time given to choose food. Asked 3 times and was still loving at menu. Annoying.

We went for food and drinks to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday they allowed us to go early and decorate the table with balloons banners etc and at the end of our meal they brought over the cupcakes we brought in with candles and sang happy birthday which was lovely The food was delicious very well cooked and so tasty the staff were an absolute delight very friendly and couldn't do enough for us Lovely place to eat lovely staff 11/10 from me and I'd highly recommend Thank you Level

Decided to go for a nice lunch out as weather was nice, walked into restaurant which was freezing (colder than what it was out side), we were seated directly in front of the open door and the draft was so cold. I asked for the door to be shut, I was told they can’t shut the door and we were told to move to the table behind, which was still in line with the door, defeating the object of moving. I asked to sit in the corner of the restaurant and was told no as it had to be a table of 2 we were seated at. I asked another member of staff to shut the door and they said no because it is too hot for the members of staff who were “running” around, even though it was really quiet. I explained that i don’t want to eat in a freezing cold restaurant that’s drafty as my food will get cold. I was told to put my jacket on by a member of staff, which had an extremely rude tone to it , and also why would I want to sit and eat a meal with my jacket on? She said if we don’t want to be cold, we can go eat elsewhere and gave us 5 minutes decide whether we wanted to order food. By the time They brought our drinks over, we said we were going to leave, they asked us to pay for our drinks that we hadn’t touched, we declined due to the staff failing to accommodate to us and being rude. The fact they would rather us leave than simply close the door or move us to a different table is disgusting and I felt that because I am a young person, they felt like they could belittle me. This is a real shame as the food and drinks here are really nice, but I’m not going to give my money to a restaurant who only accommodate to their staffs needs and not the customers. They could’ve easily shut the door or moved us out of line with the door, absolutely ridiculous and awful service.

Fantastic! Food was about 15 minutes, ordered the prawns, Cajun pizza, calamari and bbq pizza altogether. Fresh and tasty! Christine served us today and she is lovely. Will always return to Level for a tasty lunch/dinner. Thankyou Level!

What a treat! Great food and cocktails. Between us we had a pasta dish, a grilled salmon, garlic bread and roasted med veg - all very rich and very delicious. After a couple of Camden pale ales we had a Dark n Stormy for me, a White Russian for her - not cheap but very generous portions and made perfectly. On a Tuesday night it was spacious and easy to chat but plenty of other diners. I'm definitely going to go back soon!

Really nice food , couldn’t fault it. I would have given higher marks but at £6.30 a pint of ale I felt a bit robbed.

Came to Level for a nice lunch out. I ordered the ribs and my partnered ordered the lamb. The food came out quite quick & the portions were greatly large, the chips well cooked and crispy, the best I’ve had. It was all delicious as well as the cocktails. I would’ve given it 5 stars but at the end we were waiting at least 15 minutes for a staff member to recognise us as we were ready to pay but my partner had to get up to ask someone. I appreciate that it was busy but a few times staff walked past us without looking. Other than that everything was great. Will visit again and highly recommend!

Fantastic service from start to finish. We had a big party of 20 people and all the food arrived together. The staff were brilliant with the children and could not do enough for us. All the food was delicious!

Food is good its just slightly over priced for what ya get

Went here for a Christmas works do and family birthday. The food is amazing. The pizzas are better than the ones we had in Italy.

It has been a while since I last ate at Level and I remembered the food used to be really good. Looking at the reviews they were mainly on the positive side so I decided it was time for another visit. Service was good but unfortunately the food wasn't. I had the fishcakes (£13.45) which were dry and tasteless and my friend had the shish kebab (£15.95) she complained that the meat was tough and there wasn't very much rice. Quite expensive I thought for very poor food. It will be a long time before I visit again. Very disappointed.

Really good Italian restaurant and food is great.

Great food and great lunchtime deals. Was impressed that the coffee and cake includes hot chocolate too. Everything was delicious. The BLT had lovely thick bacon and the carrot cake was tasty and moist. Staff were attentive, friendly and smiley.

Massive fan of level. As a semi frequent visitor it ticks all the right boxes.

On entering Level the waitress asked us how many was the table for, my friend answered 2 but could we have a 4 seater table as my friend has a disability (it would of helped me greatly to have more space due to mobility issues ). This request was refused she said they were busy and she was prepared to let us walk away. Due to the pain of walking far for me we sat at a 2 seater table. when we were half through our stater we noticed 3 couples came in and all were given 4 seater tables. When we complained we were told the 2 seater tables were dirty (not true) The waitress did say said sorry and asked us if we would come again! Food 5 star table service 2. As a disabled person I felt treated less favourably. Update I have just had a personal reply from the 'waitress' who added to her poor service of today has just called me a liar. To the lady concerned please speak to your colleague. Who informed me of the dirty tables ect when I submitted my complaint in person in the restaurant today. You had the perfect opportunity to speak to me. I am sorry that you feel hard done by, now perhaps you know how I felt today! I am incredulous. Maybe the manager could help implement some retraining. Good luck in your career. I will not return to establishment again.

I am someone who is generally a positive person and hate businesses who are dishonest and find it ok to mislead people. So here I go ....,..... I visited Level today after reading on their website tha they have a happy hour with selected cocktails £4.75. I was handed a menu advertising the same offers and there was also a huge board next to the bar advertising the same but was told by the bar staff that this offer wasn't available now but would be in the new year!!! When we questioned this the bar man said it was subject to t&c which wasn't in the menu but was in the smallest writing on their advertising board. Very misleading and very dishonest misleading customers, I asked to speak to the Manager but was told he was busy cooking. There was hardly anyone in Level at the time and disappointed that the Manager had no interest in his customers. My disagreement is not the couple of pound extra I had to pay but being misled by Level. We would have stayed longer for drinks and food but instead spent our money on drinks and food elsewhere! I recommend you do the same.

It's a lovely friendly place. Food and staff were very good. Unfortunately it was quite cold in the room.

Lovely staff but food was disappointing. Served the moment we sat down ( as we had to pre order) and was lukewarm so probably been sat a while and was very bland.

Very nice food, friendly, and a atmosphere

Went with a group of friends before going to karaoke at vox box, and the staff and food were amazing. Most of us had cocktails, which were really great. They have nice and varied vegetarian options, and I especially love their Mediterranean veg pizza. Cannot recommend Level enough, especially the staff who helped to make the night so enjoyable.

Great selection on the menu. Loved the chicken cesar salad and the cheesecake of the day! Nice decor.

Extremely rude staff. Tried to add someone else’s food bill to mine. Food was awful and undercooked. Customer services was awful, you waiters with 0 manners. Missed my train due to waiting for their mistake to refund money

Very rude staff, just had a meal, over charged us £45 for someone elses food and drinks. Staff was very rude said could not refund till owner was back. Got refund in the end. Staff have very bad attitude and customer service is shocking.
