Drinks were cheap, close to hotel and shops. Young bar staffs friendly. We had older children with us aged twelve and ten on a Saturday teatime. Grumpy lady (bar staff) ask us to move and although there was no problem with that, it was the manner she said it. Lively pub with loud music. After buying some drinks grumpy lady told us we couldn’t stay past 7.30pm because of the kids. There was no notice of this, or nothing was mentioned when we bought the drinks a few minutes before. We were sat next to the bar. Felt it was a bar for the locals and children weren’t welcome. Would not return even without the kids.

Leo's Bar is a very traditional Bar but looks a bit rough from the outside (the overall building compared to other establishments). No Karaoke when I visited. The Stella should've been served in a Stella glass (just what I am used to). The outdoor could be dramatically improved with some potted plants and painted tables and decking. Ordering was straight forward and the staff inviting. Although it may be considered a bit tatty always good to support local businesses.

Pub and bar hopping around Southport my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into Leo's Bar and what a really good time we had. This bar is only small, nice decor and furnishings including a superb looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside, a very cool bar indeed. We were here on a Friday afternoon, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of the staff, we gave our details of name and phone number to assist with the governments track and trace system and then sanitised our hands and ordered a cider each ,we chose a fruit cider and these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great bar we were in. My cider was really good, a crisp, dark fruit cider served absolutely freezing cold ,it certainly cut through the thirst, it was just what we needed on such a warm day. We really enjoyed our ciders in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting we had a superb time. Leo's Bar is easy to locate along Neville Street. A great bar,if your in the area most definitely well worth a visit.

A group of 4 agreed to meet there last Friday before going into town ... we didn’t move on ! Anne-Marie made us feel very welcome , and looked after us all night. We sat in the small bar as the larger side is closed until the summer, and hey it’s not The Ritz , but it is a cosy and friendly pub with lots of traditional pub local characters ! A great night was had by all !

From the outside this may look a bit of a rum place, with lots of colourful characters to and froing, we called inon a Monday evening, early doors, when karaoke and Happy Hour were in full swing. The beer and spirits are good and the natives are friendly. Passed a happy couple of hours chatting with them. Give it a try.

Popped in for a coffee and saw meals being taken out to customers. Couldn’t resist as the portions were massive. Ever so glad I ordered. It was first class.

Excellent service despite being a busy little pub. Great value double spirits and a dash of mixer for £3.50. Good place to see the locals having a few drinks and laugh. Handy for central Southport, pier, Lord st. etc

On the corner of Bath Street. Great atmosphere, there was a karaoke when we called in. Had a pub meal which was fine and fairly well priced.

Visited this rather old fashioned and average old pub for a quick drink and a bite to eat. Menu very limited as is the choice of wines. Probably ok for a local's drinking hole.

Took my new and very pleasant girlfriend (had to write that) to Leo's to find it a very good bar.We sat outside in the beer garden with the Southport sun hitting us hard, it was the start of a fantastic day and we really enjoyed the drinks and even a chat with the friendly locals as the pub seemed to be dog friendly outside in the garden. Both being dog lovers.Bar staff were polite and courteous which was unusual for a busy pub, I have worked behind a bar myself and its a hard job keeping a smile in a busy bar with awkward people.Really recommended before you take the long walk down the pier. :)

At just outside of the city , this is a lovely little cafe/restaurant set on the waterfront . The food was lovely and staff excellent. We stayed inside due to the weather , but this also has an extensive outside seating /dining area and a lovely deck overlooking the water. Food ranged from lite bites to main meals, all looked lovely coming out of the kitchen. Will definately visit again, as it is only a short drive from home. I would recommend booking , particularly if the weather is dry and sunny. Would recommend.

Rude, obnoxious and extremely poor service, I only asked for the seats outside to be wiped dry only to be told it will only rain again By Kev. Maybe he was building an Ark out the back expecting it to rain for 40 days and nights, it was clear today and didn't rain for the remainder of the day. The best they did was to nonchalantly hand me some paper towel which wasn't enough and give such a response. At this point I thought I might have to make my wife and myself our own drinks, I told him I won't be coming hear again and he said we don't want you too, then threw my drink down the sink. I requested a refund and was told to wait outside, which I refused as my refund was not forthcoming. I eventually got my refund after he had served two other customers. I visited this costa on many occasion having never before being treated this way, I have never had a problem. I am sure he would spin some tail denying my side, check your cameras as he is not to be trusted.

Visited this cafe a couple of years back and the food was really good, value for money and the place was clean and well run. To say my lunchtime experience today was different is an understatement. There were lots of tables that had not been cleared it cleaned. I felt sorry for the two young girls who were trying hard to take orders and keep things ticking over. At least 3 tables walked out whilst we were waiting to order. I had a tuna mayonnaise sandwich with cucumber, the cucumber was extra. When the sandwich came it was clearly on value brown bread, a tiny bit of side salad and a teaspoon of coleslaw for £7..95 is not value for money in my eyes! The coffee was good but that was the only positive. Such a shame as this used to be a nice place.

Waiting for my car to be fixed and needed a beer after a long day working in NHS. Friendly staff and nice choice of local and foreign beers. Love the Parker Brewery from all the food festivals. Will be back again.

Food terrible, staff clueless, prices high. I was there a few weeks ago and the place has completely changed. Never again for me and I would avoid at all costs
