The worst Chinese meal I have every had in my life. How can such simple food be destroyed, the chicken was tough and dry, and the beef chow mein, absolutely aweful, dry no sauce and they tasted like old vegetable. Absolutely disgusting, the dog enjoyed it, never again I will drive down into town for a proper meal. Avoid like the plague!

Ordered two dishes (Chow Mein and a Green Pepper and Black Bean dish), and both were inedible. Bland, tasteless, and overcooked vegetables meant that neither my wife nor I could eat this. Absolutely rubbish, and I’d suggest avoiding this place.

Ordered four meals for the family on a saturday night , including a special chinese curry , how difficult can that be for a chinese take away, well very is the answer!!, The meal was hot it had lots of mixed meat and a couple of prawns , it looked good but what a disappointment , it tasted sweet , really sweet , Chinese curry is not supposed to taste like a sweet and sour meal , all I can think is they cooked it in a pan previously used for a sweet and sour meal and not washed the pan , it was weird and ended up in the bin...the other three meals were average in quality and we ended up sharing three between four of us, the only other complaint is the prawns in my daughters meal were hard and overcooked . We wont be going there again ....

omg... what did i actually eat from here .. un certain, i had a few beers, it seemed like a good idea, i ordered something that masqueraded as chicken.. but taste of toenails in bleach.. there was also a cat with a missing leg nearby hmmm

We have ordered from the Leong Hong twice during visits to family in Harrogate. Each time the meals have been delicious and portions extremely generous. My particular favourite is the chicken with cashew nuts and love the prawn crackers provided.

Always like to see s 5* rating when it comes to the hygiene rating, sadly not 5* food. I have never had hard diced carrot in any Chinese dish,odd and did not belong. Sauce was grey and gloopy with a hot chilli taste. Other dish ordered, beef and pineapple was also not as good as from other takeaways, just lacking?? Lemon chicken was ok.

Lovely chinese takeaway, I recommend combination starter as it has a bit of everything. Food ready within 10 mins of ordering.

Disappointed with this takeaway. We had several dishes; none were nice. Meat was dry and tough, sauces were thick, gooey and bland. The rice was the only thing that was "OK". Service was not too bad, seemed pretty clean and well organised, just food a total let down. There are other takeaways in town at a similar price that are several times better where you can taste the fresh ingredients. Will not be returning.

Having used this takeaway for years it continues to be reliable and the staff are always helpful. Menu has a great selection which is great value.
