Lovely food. Friendly service. Cosy atmosphere. Reasonable prices.

We had Carbonara, Lasagne and Pizza. Everything was fresh and delicious.

I have no complaints about this place. The lunch menu is really good value for money and the pizza was lovely. The staff were really friendly and chatty and the service was quick. I will definitely be trying this place again the next time I am in town.

The food was outstanding and incredibly tasty. We enjoyed the chicken risotto, which was absolutely delightful. The dish was perfectly seasoned, and the chicken was tender and cooked to perfection.I can wait to return for another round!

Follow the inviting smell! And we were not mistaken in our choice. Very tasty and satisfying, the portions are large, so don’t be too excited to order a lot. The prices are good. Everything is definitely fresh, from under the knife. I would like to thank all the employees of this restaurant, absolutely everyone!!! We will definitely come back and visit you! Delivery driver was useless & despite extremely clear instructions of the location, still spent 15 minuites parked somewhere expecting a disabled individual who cant walk, to chase after him - even after a phone call. I was clear in the instructions, what 3 words location of the exact location and no one else had issues finding me or delivering food. Food was lukewarm on arrival and the "salad" had about 1 inch of water that had spilled everywhere & on/in the pasta container too. Disappointing.

Rip off prices - beware. All looked good. Early stop on market day, ordered two halves of Peroni and sat watching the world go by. All lovely until I went to pay. £12 for two halves. Yes you read that correctly, six quid each. I expected it to be a bit pricier than my local, but that's just profiteering.

Fantastic Italian Restaurant. Staff are attentive without being overly so and had a great sense of humour. Food was delicious and not expensive. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals and recommend a visit.

A nice little Italian restaurant in the main square in Salisbury. With views over the square, Leonardo's serves usual Italian favourites, Pizzas, pasta etc. And there are fine tasty extras. There's usually no need to book. The prices are reasonable.

Clean ,great atmosphere, all four mains were fresh and so tasty, loved the sea bass ... garlic bread and cheesy garlic bread mwah ,desserts were lovely and light ... but large portions ... Amazingly friendly staff ,couldn't do enough for us ...even had a little chat with us towards the end of the evening. I absolutely love engaging with different people from different places... Thank you for having us ... If we could score higher we would. Definitely be back again .

Great Italian food. We had pasta and risotto which were yummy. Ingredients were fresh. Desserts were excellent. We had the tiramisu, panna cotta and cheesecake. A special shout out for the panna cotta which all of us agreed was the best!

When visiting Salisbury, we normally have lunch at Leonardos la Piazza. The food has always been excellent and the service friendly and efficient.

Can't comment on the food/atmosphere but I was walking past with my son on my shoulders and wasn't paying proper attention. My son banged his head on the pull out shade and the helpful staff came to check on us and even gave my son an ice cream to cheer him up. Amazing service and will definitely come for a meal at some point to pay back the kindness and generosity for my mistake!

By request (at least a days notice), they will cook any Italian meal for you. Today I had Parmigiana Di Melanzane, absolutely superb. Thete are numerous new additions to their menu, many I shall have to try.

Tuesday, such a quiet night. We were the only gests. Good lovely, staff attentive and cost just right. Upstairs is a perfect spot to enjoy the entertainment in the market Square.

Only had one dish each, all lovely, only down rated the atmosphere as we were seated upstairs at the top of the stairs on a window bench and squished up against the stair rail. Not everyone would be able to fit in this space....

The food was under cooked so the cheese on the pizza was very sloppy.

Service was extremely slow and not very communicative. I had veal with masala sauce which was as tough as it could possibly be. A friend had belly pork which was very tough. We paid £162 including two bottles of house wine. Had eaten before and quality was much more satisfactory. Will not be returning.

If you are in Salisbury you have to go here for dinner. If you're in Salisbury for more than 1 evening keep going back. I am quite critical so keep reading 🙂 We walked to town and based on the reviews I had picked Leonardos. Upon arrival the place looked less than inviting so I almost picked another restaurant BUT decided to stick with my gut feeling and am I glad I did. The food was yummy 😋 beyond yummy and is presented in an honest manner where taste rules over looks. The manager was friendly, knowledgeable, honest and attentive to all his guest. Service was quick and friendly and prices more than reasonable for the amount and quality of food you are being served. Most dishes are made with Italian products and you can indeed taste that. And I have lived in Italy so I know. To be honest, I would drive up from Kent again just to have dinner at Leonardos. Highly recommended!!!

A good place for lunch.. We (3) stoped here....the spaghetti bolognese was as close to traditional as you can get...the meat sauce was good and the spaghetti cooked to perfection...the calzone was scrumptious and very filling (huge‼️).... Well the soup was so so...not enough vegetables in the minestrone AND who puts the mushrooms in there?? As for the appetizers...the bruschetta was ok...bread was toasty but the tomatoes lacked the garlic romano cheese and onions ....this would of made it so much tastier snd traditional‼️ As for their version of""" Arancini"" it failed miserably😋 they will serve you 3 golf ball size arancini and inside of them is some polenta and some kind of cheese....traditional arancini are the size of a small softball "⚾" filled with rice ragu and peas and mozzarella cheese all deep fried in a polenta batter .. SO...do not get this appetizer it is not an arancini‼️ ....they should actually take it off their menu.... We ate inside and the staff of young kids did an ok job as the owner was always on their back yelping..😄...but overall a good place for a plate of spaghetti and a calzone ...😋

Food is lovely but my delivery today was not good when the driver turned up the pizza was stood on its side in his bag so when opened the pizza looked like it has been put on a rollercoaster :(

Outstanding, not a chain but independent Italian restaurant. A real hidden gem with authentic food,wine & that green bottled Italian beer on tap!. Great service, humorous but professional. If weather allows sit outside but pleasant inside upstairs. We visited on two occasions with consistent high standards both times.

So disappointing. Really not worth the money. Wish we had gone to wetherpoons. The food was awful. Bolognese in the calzone tasted like that out of a microwave meal. Same with the lasagne/cannellni. Everything so bland. The tomato/marinara type sauce with the arancini and calzone just tasted like tinned tomatoes. The prices are far too high for food of this low quality.

Great space with plenty lovely seating areas inside. Nice décor. Outside patio on main square. Food nicely done. Price mid-range. One of those accessible to all places which makes you feel you've been somewhere special! Went twice in quick succession.

It was a total rip off. The restaurant is in a good location, apart from that nothing good to say. The food is just, not good or bad. We thought that it was a bit overpriced but it was ok because of the location, but they charged us £12 for a CHILDREN dish of spaghetti with butter and cheese. Plus, it was floating in fat... not good at all. We complained and they came back with one pound discount that we left as a tip. Never coming back. I would not recommend.

Best restaurant in Salisbury. A lovely, authentic, independent Italian restaurant with friendly and caring staff. The food is absolutely delicious with plenty of choice and great portion sizes. I am vegetarian and was spoilt for choice. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a lovely atmosphere, and sitting outside in the market square in the summer is even better. Highly recommend!

Came here for our 4 year wedding anniversary, the food was amazing, portion sizes very generous - had to take the rest of my pizza home. Friendly service and food very speedy. Would highly recommend! Especially if you love your pizza! Probably one of the tastiest pizzas I’ve had outside of Italy. Expect us back again.

The Minestrone soup was very nice, slightly salty, but not a show stopper. The bread that came out with it was fresh and crunchy. The coffee was very strong, I had a Americano and was definitely unique taste. I personally thought it was delicious. Live music outside as well....very nice little place.

Not as good as what I’d read about it. Food was decent without being excellent. Mains were on the small side and the pizza base undercooked which is strange for an Italian restaurant. Decor and ambience not my cup of tea either. I can’t say it’s leaps and bounds above the chain restaurants. But still OK.

Mediocre. Make no mistake, this place is popular…. due to its prime location right in the centre of the historic Salisbury market square. Typical of front line winning areas they clearly get their custom by strategic location and not by excellent cuisine. There is nothing memorable about the food but nothing bad either. All they need is to be good enough and sadly that’s all they are. Dine here for its convenient setting not for its food, that way you won’t be disappointed.

We popped here on the off chance while we were in town as we didn't fancy Wetherspoons and to be honest we would have been better off going to Wetherspoons. When we arrived the server seemed uninterested in us. When he came out to take our order it seemed like we were being rushed and we were an inconvenience. Our drinks were brought out and I immediately noticed black bits floating in the top of my lemonade however the server left so quickly I didn't have a chance to tell him. Luckily I was able to get another member of staff to change my drink. The food was subpar to be quite frank I could make better at home and the atmosphere was lack luster which is a shame because when it first opened it was great. We were made to feel like because we had children and would not be spending as much as the other couples we were unimportant

Good food, ambience outside nice on a sunny day. Let down by communication issue, lunchtime value menu advertises a pizza with 2 toppings, but coice of toppings not provided. When I asked what the toppings were the waiter didn't understand and walked off to get someone else. Fair enough viva ethnic diversity and all that, another waiter appeared and couldt determine what the topping choice was either, so gave up and just asked for whatever as I'm not fussy.pizza turned up, pepperoni 1 topping and was nice. Frustrating that there was no choice. My wife went back a few days later and had the same problem. Worse in fact as she was charged full price off the main menu. Maybe we were unlucky twice.

The service so bad and I must to wait for 1 pint peroni 30 minutes witch is come hot.

Dropped in on spec on Friday and had beautiful pizza. The quatro formagio was amazing, with blue cheese adding a real zing. The thin, perfectly cooked base made it a real treat. Best pizza I've had in a long time.

Friendly service and two really good pizzas this evening. Nice wine to wash it down and tiramisu and coffees to finish. All-in-all, a highly recommended independent Italian restaurant, much better than the high street chain alternatives.
