Leonardo Royal London St Paul's in City of London, Westminster

Even though we weren’t staying at the hotel, we had the pleasure of dining at Leo’s Restaurant as part of a spa day package at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London City — and honestly, it was one of the highlights of the day. Before our visit, the hotel kindly emailed us to confirm our lunch preferences from a pre-set menu. We opted for the club sandwich on brown bread with no bacon, and they made sure to take note of all the details. That attentiveness continued when we arrived: the staff were absolutely lovely — friendly, welcoming, and genuinely keen to provide great service. Our food arrived quickly, and it was incredible. The club sandwich was hands-down one of the best I’ve had. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and the size was seriously impressive — it felt like three mini sandwiches stacked together! The portion was so generous I actually had to take one part home. The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned, served with both ketchup and mayo, and everything was beautifully presented. What really stood out, though, was the service. Everyone we encountered was smiley, polite, and genuinely warm. The team made us feel like valued guests, even though we were only there for the day. If this is what their lunch menu is like, I’d happily return to try the full à la carte offering. Great food, amazing staff, and an all-round top-tier experience. Highly recommend.

Love this hotel. The view from the rooftop bar and rooms are spacious and modern. The spa and meeting rooms are ideal for business and relaxation combined.

Lovely and clean hotel. Well placed in london. The breakfast was AMAZING, with a huge selection. Pillows were a bit hard on the beds. My shower was so nice, though, with jets that came out the side (id shut the door first or you will have a wet bathroom like we did).

Hotel was the location for crowd base for background artists for a film production. Particular filming day was Sunday 18th May. Crowd base area was on lower level 2 in a large seating room with adequate space for hair & makeup and costume departments, and breakfast serving area. The restrooms were of a very modern and good standard, very clean. I found the hotel staff to be professional, polite, efficient, and helpful. The hotel has a very attractive bar room. Overall a quite pleasant hotel.

Excellent hotel right near St Paul’s. I have been staying here several times already as our London office is nearby, and it’ll remain my preferred hotel due to excellent rooms, service, and food (breakfast is really great and totally worth it!). Location is super convenient as you can connect to Gatwick with a direct train from Blackfriars and to Heathrow with just one connection on the Tube. They have a nice lounge and bar if you don’t feel like wandering around in the evening.

I stayed here for valentine’s, the service was great . The rooms were spacious which is rare find for London . The pool facilities were the icing on the cake . The only thing I can say is that breakfast could have had more range of foods

Enjoyed my stay at Leonardo Royal London St Pauls. Staff were friendly. Location was great, a few tube stations not far and nice area. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool facilities were a bonus. Breakfast was lovely, had plenty of choice and good quality. Would stay again

Bar in ground floor was a breeze in dessert. Good atmosphere for a stop over.

Good location for city centre, hotel facilities are good but the bar is a bit hit and miss for for a hotel, I believe it should only close when there are no patrons wanting a drink.

Very good hotel in a great location. The service is top notch. The breakfast is delicious. A little too crowded at the swimming pool… but very well equipped gym.

Very nice hotel and very quiet, close to everything and 200 meters from the Thames (Millennium Bridge). There is a very nice spa with swimming pool, sauna, hammam, jacuzzi. Lunch is superb. The metro station St Paul 5 minutes walk and 2 others 8 minutes walk.

Very nice hotel, a short walk from St Pauls cathedral and Blackfriars station, so perfect location. The rooms were very clean and the chocolates and other amenities provided were much appreciated. The only issue we found was that the shower cubicle does flood the floor a little bit. Other than that, we had a lovely stay.

Fantastic gym and pool facilities

We stayed here for a wedding. Great 4 star hotel right next to St Paul's. Short walk to many different tourist places and convenience shops like Boots etc. Amazing breakfast buffet with everything you could imagine.

This is a hotel you could walk past and not pay attention but if you go inside, you are in for a treat. Everyone wants to be upstairs, in the rooftop bar, but stay downstairs, on ground and you get a wonderful team. Quiet, with the space to rad, chill, whatever. I had a latte, which tasted 😋

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location out of the way of the hustle and bustle. Right next to St Paul's and a lovely walk across the Millenium Bridge. Room was gorgeous, huge bed, lovely free toiletries and access to the pool, jacuzzi and sauna was great treat after a full day of exploring. Will definitely be back!

Right next door to st pauls, has a feel of an office block slightly but the roof top bar overlooking St Paul's has great music and a chilled place to unwind and enjoy a drink, would well recommend it. In a superor room and definitely no complaints and love the pillows. Breakfast staff worked gard to keep on top of tables and ensure they were turned around quickly to keep up with Breakfast demand

I informed that we would arrive at my wifes birthday and they had foreseen a nice birthday present in our room! Really really nice and well appreciated! Hotel is very clean, well located, and very quite at night. Also an extremely friendly staff! Really a nice stay!

Second year attending an awards show at the hotel, I’m yet to stay the night but can imagine from the areas we have used that it must be quite a pleasant stay. The hotel is very modern and well furnished with a view of St Paul’s right at the top of the street. An open plan lobby and reception area leading through to a sizeable convention room. The food is great.

Went for a work event and the hotel is just a few minutes walk from Blackfriars tube. It's beautifully laid out and staff are very friendly and polite. Food at lunch was amazing, didn't stay overnight so can't comment on rooms or breakfast etc. Wouldn't hesitate to visit if you get the chance.

Money well spent!! Was warmly greeted by Jamil on the 6th Feb one night stay.Jamil was very polite and hospitable, informed us on the usage of the hotel, he answered all our questions in regards to our stay! Would definitely rate this whole experience more 5 stars. Thank you Jamil and the whole team including Kathleen and Zahid for the excecutive lounge experience, can't remember all the names but everyone who worked on the 6th of Feb to the 7th Feb 2024.
