Leonardo Hotel Brighton - Formerly Jurys Inn in Brighton and Hove

Three complaints. Firstly this hotel should warn guests while booking about the access road. If arriving by car and you don’t know the area you will incur a £100 charge by turning into the road where the main entrance is located. Secondly my experience of Leonardo in different locations is similar: menu choices not available, various drinks at the bar not available despite being advertised. You always seem to get second choice. Lastly I was concerned at the unavailability of certain news channels on the room TV. I get my news from a range of sources and I do not appreciate finding that otherwise widely available channels are “not available” here. This looked more like censorship than any technical issue.

Nice clean room, good service, great location

I spent a couple of nights at the hotel. The bed was comfortable and I slept very well in it. The shower was a little small and larger people might have an issue with it. The water pressure was lower than I expected. It is about a 5 minute walk from the train station and is in a mostly quiet location. I could hear the trains pulling into and out of the station but they didn't disturb my night's sleep. It isn't close to the seafront or other attractions but as Brighton is quite a small town, they aren't that far away. Overall, I'd say that the price was a little high for what is essentially a nice budget hotel.

Clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Though £294 for one night is excessive, especially when it comes to the room. The room has the basics but no complimentary water and the tea & coffee isn’t stocked unless you go and get yourself, so don’t ring down for extra milk.

Clean hotel , breakfast was surprising there was a nice selection on offer and staff are kind and helpful will be using this hotel whenever I come to Brighton now

Great location, and the staff were lovely and incredibly helpful, especially Fiona. The rooms could be cleaner, as there was rubbish in the light fittings and the teaspoons were all dirty. Overall a great stay though.

Completely adequate hotel. Nothing to write home about but it’s clean, breakfast is good and the location is great.

Love love love a Leonardo Hotel. Always a very relaxing stay. Amazing comfortable beds and power shower. Breakfast is worth it too. I'll aways return to A Leonardo hotel.

Bare minimums, just body wash and shampoo in pumps that don't allow you to get anything out, and can't remove to take the cap off. Just 2ml per person apparently. No hand soaps, conditioner, water, shower caps etc. AC didn't work for more than a few seconds. No fridge or safe. QR code link for room service states breakfast from 5.30 weekdays but called reception and they said no it's 6.30. Called at 6.30 and was told for breakfast service you need to fill the form the night before ( there isn't room service as advertised online) so triple check what your services are with reception. Oh, but there was a Bible! Although some soap, water, conditioner or AC might be more useful in this particular occasion.

Both key cards didn't work, went to replace them both, only one worked, over-charged me for laundry service, AC won't stay on for more than 15 seconds, it's too hot in this room to sleep, they gave me a fan for the room that doesn't help. I have to work tomorrow and looks like I won't be getting any good quality sleep. Pissed. Edit: forgot about the stained bedsheets. 🤢 Pick a different hotel.

Good hotel for a business stay in Brighton. Extremely convenient for the station. Bar and reception area are light and modern, pleasant.

City centre, next to train station, 15 mins walk to Seafront. Cannot fault room, service or breakfast. All very good.

Comfortable, lovely staff and quiet apart from doors always bang when fellow customers open and close their doors.

The Leonardo Hotel Brighton offers an excellent stay with friendly and helpful staff. Special mention to Mihai at the front desk for his exceptional service during check-in. We booked three rooms, and the process was smooth and well-managed. The hotel is conveniently located near the railway station, making it easily accessible for travellers. Both dinner and breakfast were very good, with the staff working hard to ensure a pleasant dining experience despite being slightly understaffed. Additionally, the breakfast area was quite small and unable to accommodate all guests comfortably, resulting in a crowded experience. Overall, a highly recommended stay.

Good location and great breakfast . Good discount for the car park.

Really lovely receptionist, young blonde girl, who gave us all informations needed. Her presence makes us feel really welcomed. Great variety for an healthy breakfast, clean and tidy rooms.

Great hotel, friendly staff. First room hadn't been cleaned properly but the staff upgraded us immediately without fuss. Nice and stylish

The hotel is staffed with good people who try hard to make your stay comfortable but they are a little thin in the ground. The food is perfectly adequate and reasonably priced and the rooms are okay. Being right next to the station is possibly a good thing unless you're on the station side when you'll get an 05:00 wake up call every day.

5 stars all round! Well worth the money and a visit!

Solid three star hotel. Interior was recently redone and nice though the rooms were only partially remodelled. The breakfast is one of the better breakfast buffets I’ve had in the UK (and this is after just having stayed at a five star resort). There was a good variety of food with an option for a full English with meat options separated from veg options to keep utensils safe from cross contamination. There were meats and cheeses for a more continental breakfast - this also included veg and fruit. Cereals, yogurt and pastries also. And the selection of fresh bread was very tasty and probably one of the more exciting aspects of the hotel - that could be my age showing. I’ve stayed at four and five star hotels in the Uk that didn’t do as well for breakfast.

Enjoyed my stay here, some of the bar staff were brilliant and provided excellent service, however the same can’t be said about their manager Alex, comes across as rude, obnoxious, and arrogant and can honestly say I have only received foul/ dirty looks off him after asking simple questions, all in all an amazing group of employees let down by this ego maniac

Magnificent hotel located in front of the train station and about twenty minutes walk from the beach. I had a single room for one night on a room-only basis, at a price of 52 pounds (about 60 euros). The hotel allows you to do both check-in and check-out online, which saves a lot of time. The room was spacious, modern, spotless, with television, air conditioning, ironing equipment, kettle, complimentary coffee and tea, enough plugs, gel and shampoo dispensers, good wifi, etc. Very friendly receptionists. The only negative point is that the dispensers did not work well and it was very difficult to get gel or shampoo, but I am not going to penalize you for that, as the value for money is really unbeatable.

If you are into watching trains, our rooms directly overlooked the station. You will be listening to trains when you go to bed and when you wake up. Our child also received an activity pack on arrival which kept her occupied and she loved it. However, doesn’t matter when you arrive the rooms are unavailable as it’s still not prepped for guests by 3PM. Late checkout was not possible as they need the rooms emptied to be cleaned, so clearly they are understaffing the housekeeping folks (but charging guests >£200 per night) as it just doesn’t add up. Booked two rooms, one of them had a leaking water from somewhere but no one came to look at it even after being informed. Rooms are dirty(pics). Breakfast is haphazardly laid out to cause maximum confusion, the apple juice didn’t get replaced for the entire breakfast. For the cost, there are significantly better hotels in Brighton.

The hotel is clean, comfortable beds and a large TV that can be mirrored and the room had a free tea maker. Very well located near Brighton railway station and quite close to very picturesque streets full of bars and supermarkets and just 20 minutes walk from the Royal Pavilion and Brighton Pier. Thank Dalila who made our stay more pleasant and enjoyable. She always had a smile for us and gave us help at all times for whatever we needed👍🏽

Hotel located in a central area, very convenient, close to Brighton station connected with direct trains to London in less than an hour, staff with exceptional kindness and professionalism, especially in England where we know that they have nothing to do with hospitality instead the staff led by an excellent Manager Ilenia a Woman of unique kindness thanks to you and your wonderful staff (kostas) we were at home without ever having the feeling of being in another world thanks for everything we'll see you again in the summer ❤️…… …. This is a lovely hotel to stay in. The room was a good size with very comfortable bed and everything you need. Lots of choice at breakfast and the restaurant and bar are nicely decorated with a chilled ambience. Well placed for Brighton station. Easy smooth check in and check out.

Staff came across as well trained, friendly and helpful. The food was of a high standard and everywhere was clean and tidy. Good job!

Great hotel,great location a shirt walk from Brighton town

I stayed here for 3 nights and my experience was perfect. The staff were all very helpful, rooms were quiet and the lobby/bar/restaurant area is spacious and great to hang out in. The food was delicious from the restaurant and the buffet breakfast was worth it. When I'm back in town I'll be happy to stay again.

Great hotel - super convenient for the station and consistently good quality rooms. The rooms are slightly basic but always spotless - I cannot complain for the brilliant value.

Loved this hotel. The rooms were roomy and well presented with complimentary extras in the room on arrival. The reception staff were warm, helpful and welcoming and the breakfast was wonderful. If I was to point to the down sides then it would be the unorthodox rates on the paid car park for this hotel where you can only pay upto 4am in the morning, meaning that you wake in the morning without a valid parking ticket.

Didn't stay in the hotel, used one of their suites for training, close to train station, parking opposite, refreshments available.

Friendly staff. Lovely welcoming clean reception. Great facilities. Accessibility was really good for us.
