The food was amazing as always, however the service was rude. Main reason why I give less than 5 stars is purely service. They ignored me when I came in, ignored me as a I said good morning and just handed me my order without a single word/smile. What surprised me was this was not a team member but a supervisor/manager. As a hospitality worker it pains me to write this review as I understand how tiring long days are on your feet and how annoying costumers could be, especially after a long busy shift, however they literally just opened the store (it was just past 9am) so I was either their first or second costumer. I have notice this is usual at Brent cross shopping centre in general, not sure if there is a reason as the service in a few different shops wasn’t friendly at all either.

Really gone downhill. Used to be a nice place to go, now it’s just a conveyer belt of food, fries are soggy, very little for GF people, limited selection of other food, just unpleasant to be and sit there. Will not go back.

I had the halloumi wrap which was good…nothing exceptionally exciting but not bad either. They could be more generous with their fries and I would prefer to order at the counter too as their screen ordering system is not a seamless experience.

There are quiet place to sit down relax in the morning for your breakfast and coffee. more space to seat at the back

We went to Brent Cross to do a bit of shopping and we wanted something to eat. Every where had a queue and a wait to eat in, apart from Leon, so we thought we'd just go here. The food was ordered from the large screens and then you pick up your food from the counter. There's loads of seating at the back and on the side. I just thought no one went there and actually they are very busy but just very efficient. We had a burger, rice box, some sides, dips and drinks, the price was very reasonable. Everything was tasty, good flavours, staff were good. We left feeling full without that bloated feeling you usually get after you eat a burger, which was great! Will definitely come back again.

I was working at home and ordered breakfast delivery. The saucy beans pot and the berry acai smoothie were fine. The smoothie was better than their other ones which I have tried in the past. My issue and not Leon's fault was some things are better to eat in. By the time the driver got it to me, the saucy beans pot was cold, soggy and not as good as eating in. There are certain foods like pizza or Chinese that are fine for delivery but a Leon breakfast is better to eat in fresh. On the plus, it was packaged well as I did worry the smoothie may spill but a straw would have helped!

Changed too much now beyond a restaurant I want to use. I visited for a healthy breakfast what I paid for bore no relation to the picture on the breakfast menu. I tried to order via the dirty fingerprinted screen but could t choose to order my coffee the way I like it. It used to be managed by an Irish chap. It was a pleasure to order and service was good. My 3 children and I used it since it opened. They are grown up teenagers now. But the breakfast pot I ordered something beginning with S with spinach and eggs was a top layer of poached egg and underneath a runny tomato sauce consistency which they give you a fork to eat with. Therefore it dripped down me. Let alone the service because I could t order on screen having already tried I went to counter and black girl assistant took more time showing me how to use machine screen when I said why can’t you serve me at counter she said she was too busy and went in the kitchen. Meanwhile a queue of bike riders in helmets come and show their number and walk off. They dont care about the customer that wants to ask about food. What’s spicy etc. I won’t go back there is a cafe at bottom of escalator I will use. Leon you have lost a long term customer because you can’t be bothered to serve. Your now in the same bracket as KFC and Macdonalds. You never used to be

I came here for a quick dinner today with my friends and we were all very happy about the staff, the food and the very fast service . Definitely happy customers

I was really looking forward to having a chicken wrap and fries as I haven't had one in years, and I used to really enjoy them. The fries were ok, but there is no more chicken wrap on the menu, and the fish finger wrap was disgusting. My daughter had the chargrilled chicken burger the first of which was pink inside, so she took it back. The second one was marginally better once all the pink bits were removed. Salmonella in waiting! The decor is garish and vulgar, and the use of screens to place orders is not only unhygienic (if the aim was to stop Covid contamination it fails miserably, but I suspect it is simply to reduce staff numbers) but epitomises the worst excesses of any fast food joint. If the new owners who were "regular consumers of Leons" believe that this is true to the original goal of the company, they are sadly mistaken. Shame on the original founders for selling out for the dirty lucre!!

Maybe the company is about to go into administration or something, but it's clear they don't care. It's staffed by people who won't take your order, instead pointing you to self - service screens while standing around. They package and hand you your food. That's it. The food itself is passable, but they keep changing it. The vegan love burger used to be something I ate 4 times a week because of my interances, but they changed it and now it isn't as good. I still eat here because of the lack of vegan options, but despite the friendly screens trying to upsell me (while the staff can't be bothered), I ignore the impulse to buy more because I simply feel so patronised by this awful, glib business model. I applaud the concept of Leon, but the delivery of the idea is terrible, and at this rate the company will be gone within two years. Please start taking orders at the counter. You don't understand how much of a difference it makes to the customer.

we had halloumi wraps - the halloumi looked like it had been flattened by a steam roller - the salad was days old and the sauce was horrible. The fries were luke warm and we reckon had been there for hours No where near as good as other branches I have been to won't return

We ordered takeaway for the FIRST time and they managed to ruin the dinner by not giving us the sauces we paid for. Utterly infuriating, thanks for ruining our meal Leon !!!!!!!!

Stupid overpriced nuts. Charge £2.60 for a very small portion of fries and then when you ask for a sauce with it, they ask for another 25p for a tiny sauce. Total crap. And the food has nothing to do with healthy. Just another name for McDonalds, but they charge double. Avoid.

My teenage son wanted to eat there as all of my kids used to love Leon. Yesterday’s lunch can only be described as absolutely disgusting. My son had the chicken burger, it looked and tasted disgusting. Grey, dry, overheated & tasteless. He had to put a whole pot of alioli on it to be able to eat it. I had the Cripsy Chicken Korean burger, which if I hadn’t been told had chicken in it I would have been none the wiser. Again, what chicken I could find in the ‘nuggets’ was grey, dry & tough. I thought the saving grace were the fries, turned out to only be the first two. The rest were soggy and inedible. We had two bottles of water, they were as expected and looked & tasted like water. Won’t be returning.

Quite a wide range of dishes. Food was prepared quickly but was very enjoyable. Restaurant was busy so a little difficult finding a quiet spot to sit but, overall, would return.

I was shopping with a friend that is 96 in Brent Cross and afterwards he said he fancied a burger. We decided not to go to the traditional fast food. As he is not mobile and visually impaired I asked him to have a sit while I got a menu. The attendant said they didn’t have a menu and when I mentioned his situation she just said “the menu is up there” and pointed with both fingers up her head as he said he wanted beef when I asked if they have, she looked at me as if I was asking for an extinct animal. I went back and after he chose I spoke with a friendly assistant (Zaynab) although sympathetic, she explained that it was fast food and therefore they didn’t have a menu. I went to the table with the food and noticed I needed more napkins, I asked a 3rd assistant where I could get and he said “It should be over there” but made no attempt to help, even though he was free as minutes before he was chatting with people at the kitchen. The food was mediocre, the first 2 chips were ok the others were soggy and I saw other member of staff coming out with rubbish passing our table. If it wasn’t for Zaynab I would give no stars.

Omg ... I'm addicted to Leon's chicken satay (which comes with a side of a kind of coleslaw) .. the chicken is so moist (I think as they use brown meat ... thighs I think) and it's on healthy but delicious (who knew!!) brown rice and covered in satay sauce. I have to have it whenever possible. My other half likes a little spice so had the thai green chicken curry which even though I dont like spicy, I had to try and was amazing too. This is the only way to have fast but healthy food ... fantastic!!

Qué decepción tan grande, León es un lugar tan bueno para comer con alimentos frescos y buenos precios. Tal vez este fue un mal día o la gerencia no está en la cima de su juego, pero el miembro del personal que se me acercó por detrás del mostrador fue simplemente grosero, tenía mucha actitud y no estaba dispuesto a responder mi pregunta sobre un ingrediente. Salí y fui a Pret A Manger, donde el personal era amable y servicial, y la comida es igual de fresca.

Solo había una señora que tomaba órdenes y no había personal en el piso para un espacio tan grande, así que tuvimos que esperar un poco para que se tomara el pedido. El menú suena bien, pero me pareció que la comida era bastante suave y el tamaño de las porciones era pequeño para el precio. No creas que son de gran valor para el dinero.

Good experience of having a balcony section where you can enjoy your meal. Heathy food. Good price. Lunch deal serves an okay portion.

Wife and I ate there today. I had a chicken sandwiche (was ok), fries(ok) and some sort of pea salad(not good at all). Food is ok price is not.

Good allergy free food options - not the biggest of portions and the curry was on top of rice - apart from that very tasty just wanted more of it- so got another 1!!!

Fuimos en cosas vegetarianas y no nos decepcionó. El servicio era bastante bueno y los elementos que habían constituido, en mi opinión, la mejor relación calidad-precio. Encontrar un buen lugar durante las horas punta no fue un problema. Disfrutamos de nuestra visita así como nuestro almuerzo.

I've always found Leon to do good (and sometimes even unusual) food and interesting side dishes. Reasonably quick service.

We have eaten here many times. My pal is a veggie and has the haloumi wrap . It takes a while to cook though so not for a person in a rush . The chicken wraps are variable in quality . Worth a try .

Estuve allí con mi familia para el almuerzo. El servicio es rápido y la comida me ricos y sabrosos. Este es uno de los mejores restaurantes de comida rápida que conozco. Nos sentamos en el balcón con una vista a la sala de tiendas.

1. The kitchen is very slow, one customer in front of me was complaining that his kids finished their food while he was still waiting for his food. This when the restaurant was empty at 5pm 2. Terrible fries not even crispyPaid £7.75 for chicken meatball and fried complete rip-off for the value when in the mall there are lot more options

Just love Leon!! Wasn't sure at first as food sounded so healthy I assumed it would be pretty flavourless. How wrong I was!! The food is so delicious!! 2 weeks ago I had the chicken satay with brown rice and salad which blew my mind and today I tried the Hey Pesto Chicken Salad which is also amazing and such a good blend of flavours for carb free days. Always a warm welcome here and shout out to Francisco for his warm welcome and big smile. Highly recommend you try this place!!! I'll be back. Wish there was a local one to me!!

Always a good spot for lunch although it can get busy. Friendly staff, tasty food and they are more than happy to accommodate any changes to your meal. Can't fault the place

When visiting Brent Cross I usually get a Lamb Kofte Wrap from this outlet along with the fries. The Lamb Kofte itself is not that bad and a slight variation from other Koftes you can purchase from other outlets. It could have been a little warmer. The amount of fries served for the cost of £2.30 were quite meagre. Not good value for money at all.I had a lemon, lime and ginger quencher drink, although it sounds good and refreshing due to the flavours – it was in fact in my opinion – lacking in real taste and depth in flavour. A bit of a shame!!

Bought a pot of chicken for 3.45 which was half empty, 2 small salads 2 pots of chicken 2 drinks £25.00!!!!

We usually have lunch in Leon's when in Brent Cross. The atmosphere is always warm and friendly although prone to be crowded in holidays. Today it was great and our order was brought to the table.

Haven't been Brent Cross in years and when I arrived, we were a little hungry so grabbed some Leon. The vegan option is amazing however, they charge you £2.70 for the pleasure of sitting. I felt like they should make customers aware of the charge beforehand. I only realised once I was actually seated I guess when you get free parking they have to get the money-back elsewhere

Loved my lunch here - it was very tasty and and felt fresh and nutritious. Will definitely visit again.Bear in mind that portions are small - great for lunch or a light meal. Free water in jugs is good idea.Only complaint is that the staff behind the tills make you feel pressurised to make a speedy menu choice which can be difficult if you haven't eaten there before and are not familiar with the menu.

Good foog, gluten free, healthy, reasonable price, the only thing is the pot of chargrilled chicken, this is awful.....obviously pre grilled then microwaved ( if not thats how bad it tasted).

Food Courts in most Malls are not the most inviting of places - but Brent Cross rises above this and offers many delights.One such is Leon. I have been a fan for a long time as I love the health options on offer, the portion choices and the simplicity of the dishes. For a vegetarian this is wonderful and for those who love them, the meatballs are well worth it.The side of crushed pea salad is a delight and there is not one of their main course that I have not tried over the past couple of years, all of which are tasty and filling. Great recommendation for easy and healthy eating.

I went here on Boxing day I know worst day of the year I had lunch and it was good.The staff advised us the veggie options and the choice was good.If you are a veggie I do reccomend eating here.

Visited this establishment with my granddaughters. They built it up as something really good. When we got there no less than six items we asked for on the menu were not available. The place was a mess, the staff were running around like headless chickens ( which is rather ironic as there was no chicken available ) I finished up with a wrap which was look warm and made me ill. One granddaughter wanted a meal there, which she only ate half! The other one went to Pret a manger with my wife and both got a good enjoyable meal!........ Contacted them they said, we were having new cooking facilities installed. The staff there had no idea what was going on!None

As always very tasty and fresh. I am a big eater and need a minimum of two dishes to fill up. Like the free water and glasses. Staff are friendly and helpful. The haloumi burger is great with a hint of dill. Any dish with brown rice is always a winner. Drinks are a bit pricey for what you get.

Our second time here. It's good for a snack but the food could be hotter.You stand waiting for it to arrive and then look for a table so there should be no reason why it's not hot after all it's not as if it's laid about waiting for a waitress to deliver it to you.Nice point is that you can help yourself to water without having to wait for someone to get it for you. It all saves money for them I suppose.One strange thing is that the food is served in disposable cardboard boxes - presumably recycled? Whereas the free water is there for you to help yourself to an actual glass rather than a cardboard/plastic beaker. The cost of washing the glasses is obviously cheaper than the cost of paper cups.

We've visited Leon's many times and it's always been great. However, this time the food wasn't up to standard. The falafel salad really wasn't good, the fries were only warm. The gluten free desserts were nice but for the price, the chocolate millionaire shortbread was minuscule. Nearly £30 for salad, two drinks and some cake is excessive.

We made a stop at the Brent Cross shopping Centre and when spending a longer time there we wanted to eat something. We found this restaurant with food court and because it was our first visit at this restaurant chain we ask the staff for advise what to choose. The young lady was very friendly, helpful and chosen a very tasty food for us - Aioli chicken salad, RB club, chicken lemon olive tagine, fries and crushed peas and for drink juicy Goji - food was really tasty. The downside was not the cleanest sitting area on the side that's the reason for lover rating. If the place would be clean I would give them excellent rating.

Nice quiet cafe even though its in a food court. Love the decor.. food is fresh and tasty.. I had the croissant with butter and coffee. Just one gripe the waitress served my lovely warm crispy croissant then told me the knives were on the back wall. So I had to leave the food and drink gather my bags and head over to the other side of the resturant to get a knife. I thought that was unusual service.......

This was a terrible experience... food for my wife, daughter and myself came to nearly forty pounds. Just after paying noticed what I assume to be the manager using the floor broom to also dust off a high-chair.... very hygienic....The wraps were the best out of a bad lot. Literally now walking out having wasted money and food... looking for anywhere else to sit to have something...

Why is the floor dirty and the serving area not kept clean?Spills on floor made the queuing area slippery and sticky stains on the glass counter were not welcoming. The food was good but the food hygiene standard was sub-optimal.C'mon Leons- Brent Cross, this is not your usual standard. You can do better.

Happened to stumble across Leon's by accident, I was actually queuing up for nandos when Leon's caught my eye. I was fancying a hallumi wrap and I found myself ordering one, the wrap was given quickly however the hallumi had a strange texture around it with a brown colour, it was as if it had been dipped and fried in something and the texture was quite plastic in my mouth. It definitely wasn't grilled right then and there, rather grilled a couple of hours ago. The flavour of the wrap didn't put me off though and I lapped it all up because I was hungry. My friend had a fish wrap and was upset she couldn't choose any extra fillings to go with her wrap. My other friend had the quinoa salad and she mentioned she was still hungry upon finishing. I think with a few brush ups this place could actually have more excellent reviews. 1. Allow your customers to customise their wraps.2. Grill the hallumi on the spot - it only takes 5 minutes. 3. Bigger portions are ideal.

I went to Leon's with some friends of mine who all have dietary needs.I suggested Leon is as I've been here many times before and they have good food at reasonable prices. They serve food for people who would be going vegetarian lactose intolerant and I could go on. The staff but very friendly here and I had a great experience here.

We had a main salad each and a veg drink each £19!! Husband had chicken salad and carrot ginger juice, I had veg quinoa salad and blueberry elderflower smoothie.The blueberry elderflower was sour, tasted like gone off milk / cheese but the lady told me that's how it's meant to be, and very good for me. There's sour milk in there which is probably what the sourness is I was advised, truly believed her but it was too nasty to drink, basically like drinking cheese mixed with gone off yoghurt....So she kindly swapped for super green detox drink for me instead. Grateful! However we did not think for £19 and the portion + drink size was worth it at all.Food was nice and healthy, probably get your money worth with the hot meals and salad instead of mine was same price for some broccoli greens, ONE small slice of avocado, corriander, mint, and sprinkles of quinoa. Doubt we will be back for this!

My first visit ever to this restaurant was on Monday 27th June 2016, after work. I was that hungry and feeling yuk. My daughter suggested going to Leon's to get a hot chocolate and a fish finger wrap. We were served by a very delightful young lady by the name of 'Nadia'. She had no idea of how I was feeling but she was so welcoming and helpful even when I was being indecisive about what I wanted to eat or drink.I settled for the fish finger wrap in the end, which was delicious, but I was more taken with the pleasant service I received. Nadia is truly a credit to the Leon branch in Brent Cross and I felt the need to let you know.

We stopped at Leon's after a tiring shopping trip. The food is fresh and tasty and the service is fast and friendly. The food arrives in recyclable cardboard boxes. It is a shame about the plastic cuttlery (hence the 4 points only).

Looking for a quick bite to eat at brent x we came across this place tucked away in a corner. Very healthy options which was a relief Reasonable range and no frills.

I was tempted by the £8.95 deal (burger, fries and beer) which was a pretty good deal. The fish burger tasted bland and not that filling. The fries were fine though and the beer ... is beer. As I was in a hurry, it didn't matter too much.The cashier was helpful in explaining how the offer worked and was pleasant. I'd go again but would go for the chicken burger.

Wrote a review for this place a few weeks back but made so many typos needed to edit. The long and the sort of it: The staff here are great, the portions tiny but delicious. I dropped my tray, coffee and food everywhere. The manager replaced it all – even though it was my fault! It’s gestures such as this that make you want to return. The coffee here btw has a rich taste without being overpowering, it’s probably Brent Cross’s best coffee. If you sit on the balcony at the back you can people-watch shoppers below. I’m a little odd like that!

We only dropped by on the off chance and noticed this little 'fast food' place called Leon. The food is gorgeous and certainly puts a healthier twist on fast food, very prompt service, clean, well presented and a lovely atmosphere. This was made even better by the lovely staff especially a gentleman named John who when asking if we were ok noticed that we liked some of the decor and made it his mission to give us some very nice tea caddy's, this place can teach a lot of establishments how to treat customers and topping it off with marvellous food just made our day, we will definitely be back to Leon, thank you

I dropped my tray with my drinks and food on. It went everywhere. Over me, over the floor and over another customer. It was my fault entirely. £14 down the drain so I thought. Not so. The staff replaced all the food and drink for free! And I am glad they did…Thai Green Curry hot box. Okay the portion was small but it was delicious. Had a lemonade and a latte to wash it down. With a couple of cakes too. Whoops. Love the fact that it’s slightly tucked away within the food court and you can sit on a balcony…and watch the people pass by

Always quality food at good prices. The kofta meatballs are heavenly and gluten free. I love this place. The staff are so helpful and caring. This place is the place to eat and chill.

The meal is good considering it's 'healthy' fast food however for such a large branch you might think they'd have more staff. I really dislike how there always seems to be young children in here because they often make too much noise. Aside from that, I always think the food could be better here and has more potential.

Great place to meet up with friends or business colleagues. Staff are friendly and helpful and create a relaxed comfortable atmosphere. The interior is bright, airy and inviting and there's a great range of healthy food and drink options.

This place is so expensive for what it is. I have gone there so many times because I work in the shopping centre. I am disappointed every time. Their wraps are horrendous. The chips are never cooked properly. The worst thing is they get worse every single time I go there. The staff are so unfriendly and rude. Don't ever go there!

I live fairly close to brent cross and more often than not I choose to eat at Leon when I'm nearby. Food is consistant, service is friendly and I love the bustling atmosphere sitting next to the balcony. It's a shame that they'e done away with the meal deals and some of the menu items as it can be a little pricey for what you get. However I believe that Leon sets a great example for offering fast food for a variety of dietry requirements.

I was recommended this as i am gluten intolerant and as most fast food placed dont help then i thought i should try. Great menu, lovely food and a bit more expensive but it was a lot more than a sandwich. Will use leon a lot more. I just need one in leeds

This is such a change from the usual fast food restaurants with chips and fried food. The service is friendly and efficient. The menu is displayed above the counter so you can see pictures of the dishes along with a description of the ingredients. You can have hot food or salads and there are lots of juices and blended drinks that you can order. If you like a dessert, there are delicious looking cakes on offer.

From Green leaf juice to natural superfoods, kinoa, chicken, etc.This place had all the good stuff, my partner is allergic to dairy and gluten, everything on the menu is dairy and gluten free. We were both really please with the food, it even has got Sagres (Portuguese Beer)

It has been quite challenging finding a fast food joint that serves only healthy food and I finally found one. Menu is exciting and gives you guidance on which ones are vegetarian, gluten free and organic. Prices are surprisingly reasonable. They have kids menu albeit still limited.

Enjoyed a great evening meal here. First time I had visited this chain and would eat here again. Food and drink was excellentand good value for money.

We loved our lunch at Leon's. it's great to be able to get fast healthy food and the gluten free options were excellent. The sweet potato falafel salad with rice was gorgeous. All the desserts are gluten free which is amazing!Thank you Leon

When you have limited time, and you want something quick and healthy, this place is ideal. The salads and the wraps are really tasty, and the fillings are quite creative. Been back several times.

You won't be disappointed with the lovely food served at Leon with a smile. Good portions for lunch, fast service without food tasting bland and fast. Just the job for a shopping trip.

My first visit to a Leon Restaurant and enjoyed my chicken and chorizo salad. Very tasty and beautifully presented. Very satisfied afterwards and washed down with still lemonade and lattice fries. Good value for money and recommended for a tasty lunch or snack

First visit to a LEON branch and loved my choice of sweet potato and falafel fajita. Surprised at the overall calorie content of my meal as was certain this place is an alternative fast food place, though I suppose the calories were a lot less than they would have been at a Maccy D's! Service was fine, nice clean restaurant and, weirdly, the best thing about our visit to Brent Cross!

I've used this branch several times over the last 12 months - staff always helpful , food always good so the previous comments baffle me - it's not crap food like some of the other outlets so I urge you try it and you won't be disappointed

Popped into Leon today as we were shopping in Brent Cross, first time I had eaten in Leon, service was good no complaints, we all had different chicken wraps which were fine, would try the chicken in a box next time, as I said I would try again it sort of filled a gap, nothing fancy about the place but nothing negative either.

Really the food isn't that good the place isn't that hip. Lukewarm servings on both my visits. Last visit today was almost ignored by the server who proceeded to try and serve the woman behind me. Oh where are their manners? The place is a bore. Concept is ok but a true expression of style over substance. Perhaps I should join the opposite Nandos queue. Maybe the food and service is better on the other side. Leon could be good. It needs a clean and some manners put on the staff. Nuffield said.Not recommended.

Fuí ayer a cenar algo rápido a esta cadena y me gustó mucho, pues pedimos una ensalada ("Chargrilled Chicken Superfood Salad") y estaba muy buena. Eso sí, no es barato y no te hinchas...pero en casos de querer comer algo sin grasa, es la mejor opción! La verdad es que no me decepcionó.
