Not value for money looks more like pension portions

Went out of the way to try these as rated as 4.5 stars. Unfortunately the battered fish and sausage were anaemic and soggy. The chips were equally beige. The staff were nice

Terrible service asked for a battered burger and 2 portions off spicy spuds eat my battered burger and opens the other box there's no spuds but chips and sausage apauling

Best chippy in plymouth i recommend the chicken box value for your money i normally share it.

I have made several visits to the Chippy and the quality and portion size of the food they serve has been excellent on every occasion.Large Haddock and chips are amazing!

Meagre portions. Purchased fish cakes & chips and battered sausage & chips. Fish cakes were dry & hard fed to the dogs who managed to chew them. Both portions a of chips were soggy and not properly cooked.

Cuando el pasado martes por la noche, pensé que tendríamos una delicia. No tan ! ! ! Las fichas pequeñas de queso son pequeñas (¡16 fichas! ¡!!!) Pedimos salsa para acompañar, se colocó encima de las fichas (no en una olla) para que el queso nunca se derritiera. Los niños comieron 7 papas fritas y palomitas de pollo que podrías usar como mosquetes. ¡Lo que sucedió solía ser un gran lugar para conseguir comida! ! ! !

Don’t know when the change took place but at least from December 2018 this chip shop has been trading with this new, rather imaginative name and with a great burst of enthusiasm, particularly on FB and with a series of exuberant ideas including feast, discount combinations and this month, battered mince pies.

Never been to this chip shop before but heard about the family feast for a tenner so went down. You have to order on the phone before hand. Ordered one for an hour later, still had to wait 20 minutes when arriving an hour later though which was disappointing. When we got it the 2 Miles home it wasn’t that hot either, those 2 reasons are why we have given it a 4.All that being said the food was ok, the deal is brilliant value, the kids loved digging in and sharing a feast and it was a talking point. Will order again.

amazing service everytime food is always fresh and steaming hot and the deals are amazing just called the shop after seing it was shutting in 15 minutes to ask about the family feast and if we had enough time to order one and the guy said no problem come down and collect now and all this for a tenner It would cost more to cook a meal.4x 2oz cheeseburgers6x chicken strips 6x chicken nuggets 12x popcorn chicken4x dips1x large chips 6x onion rings only £9.99plus a free bottle of coke when quoting facebook deal.amazing

I have been using this chippy for a few years now and what can I say 6 small battered sausages X3 Chips X3 curry sauce and 2 pickled eggs for under a tenner cooked fresh whilst i waited very freindly staff immaculate premises and great tasting food will definetly be returning

Great fish and chips, in my opinion best on Plymouth. However one star knocked off for recent price hike and now portions have become very small on standard fish and chips. Fish now skinny and small, which is a pity.

Stone cold peas,faggots put in chip carton so was empty of gravy by the time i got home...should use proper sealed top faggot pots if you are going to sell them like West Park Chippy does.This is the second time in a month they have had no faggot pots so was put in chip carton to leak out in the car.Certainly wont be using again but will be going to a more experienced chip shop in future.He can talk the talk but can't walk the walk.

Went into this place just once. I bought fish and chips which i took home in my car, a trip of 5 minutes. On unwrapping the food i found the most unappatising mess swimming in a lake of fat in the polystyrene carton. I didnt even let my dog have it. I just threw it in the bin and swore never to return. Avoid this so called Chippy like the plague.

I've bought here at least 4 times and always look forward to coming here. One of the times the chips tasted like they were cooked in dripping that had been around a bit too long, but that time was an unfortunate exception to my experience here. Chips normally nice, fish has always been good, done the traditional dripping way. Worst problem is that I get tempted to get the large cod and end up getting too full.....Mostly been here on Saturdays.

Visited for dinner Friday evening to save time cooking. Waited 30 minutes for a cheese burger, cheesy chips, with little cheese! Soggy onion rings, a pickled egg, which turned out to be a pickled onion! And stone cold mushy peas! Very disappointing. Spent a lot of money doing the place up, giving it a great, up to date face lift, but failed to take on enough staff to meet the high demand! Chips ok. Burger acceptable, but that's about it! Will not visit again!

Wont be eating here again the food is cold and the staff that work on a tuesday or thursday are rude and terrible i can only imagine that the only serve good food to regulars!!!!!! Wont be returning unless theres improvement as seen in photo this is a small 99p cheese and chips but the quantity is shocking

Treat myself to a chicken burger and cheesy chips on my lunch break on occasion here. It is lovely and the chicken is to die for! Lovely staff and great service. Very clean inside as well. A great chippy :)

WE went here for the first time today and were delighted we did. Spotless premises, excellent fish and chips. Also tried the chicken strips which are far, far tastier than the well known chicken shop a couple of doors away! WE will definately be going back.

My son brought home a meal last Tuesday never had a problem before but this meal was terrible. Sausage in batter was solid left over from lunchtime, the fish was stuck to paper and chips in polystyrene containers were half hard crispy bits and not wrapped in paper so by time got to Keyham they were stone cold. No phone number on Lees menus the phone number on line wasn't connecting another number was apparently the flat. When did speak to lady she was apologetic and said she would get Lee to call me next day we'll I'm still waiting for that So maybe will give Lees another go maybe be just a one off

Since its refurb its now a beutifull little chippy with great value for money meal deals and good open nearly all hours

This has been my local chippy for some years now. It's actually not that local to me, there are about 34 chip shops before I get to this one.But it is the best. Portion size is OK, Just enough without wasting food.Lee is friendly and always remembers us, even though we are not weekly visitors.Quality of food is fantastic

Been going here a few years now. Good fish and chips. Decent portions at reasonable prices. Staff have always been pleasant and smiley. Worth a visit. Much better than those down the Barbican.

My family and I love this chippy. Apart from the great chips, the best fish and my girls love their fishcakes and codbites the service is outstanding! Love it.

I'm not keen on fried foods at all. I am not keen on battered foods either, however I absolutely adore the food from here. I normally go for the amazing value meal of 2 X battered sausage (batter is always thin and crispy, just perfect, chips can never complain about, sauce and a can. Never had an issue with the food. Staff are amazing. Always smiling and chatting. Love the food, love the service and cannot wait for my next meal! Thank you all

Love this place and drive miles to buy from here. The deals are one of a kind. There's no other chippy in plymouth where I could feed a family of 7 with as little as a tenner. Fish is always fresh and chips are lovely

rude girl serving me, assume she was owners wife as she had something on her shirt to indicate she was. food was poor, the chips had far too much salt on them that i decided not to give them to my children. just simply a bad experience.

Fish always cooked fresh lovely chips and homemade peas , they have good value meal deals on daily , excellent kids meals

Used lees plaice a few times and every time we end up with loads of crispy bits of chips in the bag and food that just looks like crap. 90% of the time servers have an attitude and seem as if they are being inconvenienced by having to take an order. Will find somewhere else to go from now on.

Used to use this chippy a lot even though not near where we live. One of the few places we have been where we like both the fish and chips. Usually find you like one or the other. However something has changed the last couple of times we have been. The chips are quite dry (just like most other chippies). Lee, if you are reading this please change chips back to way they used to be.

Its a Fish & Chip Shop which says it all really. No surprises on the menu, respectable prices, clean premises with a good location 30yds from a free car park (Lidl's, opposite).Happy staff served freshly cooked food that matched my expectations almost exactly. Not greasy, reasonable portion sizes, tasty, not overpriced & still hot when we got home a mile or so from Lee's.

At the bottom end of the shopping terrace on the square. Open from mid morning. Average prices, friendly service, chips OK. You can park in the supermarket car park on the other side of the complicated junction.

The best place in Plymouth by far and the staff are brilliant.
