Really poor food, surely a chef should be able to cook a medium steak, had to be taken back to the kitchen as very rare , when returned still blood running all over my plate, and unable to cut, chicken pasta dish, with 3 small pieces of chicken, cheese and tomato pizza, with hardly no cheese, very rare do we complain about food, but we had to on this occasion, not a good experience

Our waitress Mya was absolutely amazing! Friendly, helpful and we can’t wait to go back and see her again! Great food - well done Plymouth store!

Amy our server was very helpful and attentive and worked very hard to make sure everybody in the restaurant was taken care of.

We left very disappointed with our meal: A steak that was requested medium and served very rare, then supposedly put back on the griddle but looked no different when it was re-served. A pizza with a tiny sprinkle of cheese which was then taken away and more cheese was plonked on top. Chicken Pasta dish with 3 pieces of bite size chicken.By this point, I’d lost interest in the meal and gave up. Overall the worst meal I’ve had there which is a shame because a few years ago I used to think it was a fair meal for what you paid. Sadly that is not the case now. Avoid unless you want to end up with being ripped off for a poor quality meal. Next time I’d rather go McDonalds… and that’s saying something!

We popped in for some post cinema food. The fettuccine bolognese was surprisingly tasty, although it’s a chain restaurant the food was very tasty and well presented. The service was really good, was greeted on arrival and seated in a nice booth. Kids were provided with a colouring pad and crayons. The atmosphere was great and child friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. I had a meal in a well known Italian restaurant a few nights ago, the food & the service in Frankie & Benny’s was far better. Thanks to Mike & the team.

AMY is an amazing front of house staff member!! She greeted us with a smile and checked on us when our food arrived. She really is a lovely person and hard worker. It was my first time here at the Plymouth Frankie and Benny’s near vue cinema and I will definitely be back! Thank you Amy:)

I used to enjoy this restaurant I have not been for years. Went on a Fri for a birthday meal. Children were happy with the pizzas. The steak was fatty with no flavour. The burgers pink in the middle did not looked cooked. Customer service was not great waited a long time for orders half came out then waited a while for the other part of the order. Not the same atmosphere that it did have

So I'm still sat in the restaurant and after over an hour our door arrives and the chicken pasta dish has no chicken in it. The waitress we had was very apologetic and worked to get it sorted and we got a free round of drinks However something is wrong here as many parties were getting up and leaving after a looong wait.

Food come out fast that’s after they came out 15mins after taken order to say something sold out! Eat food then had to wait 40mins for them to come back and clear table (they didn’t ) just asked if we wanted the check! We said never mind we didn’t want deserts (shocking service) we just asked for the check.

Went with my kids for mothers day. We had a reservation so were seated and served promptly. We all love the italo American style food and desserts. Good value for money as well. No complaints

We are currently 1 of 2 tables in the restaurant and yet it has taken more than an hour and a half for our food to arrive. I can see the kitchen from our table and the chefs are stood there on their phones. For a restaurant as popular as this, it should not take this long for service. It’s unacceptable.

We have been sitting at are table for an hour waiting for our food we are all currently sat on our phone I don't normally complain but when there is only 2 tables sat down to eat and the chefs are stood talk and walk up and down to get drinks its unacceptable the service is slow

Although the serving staff were excellent and attentive, any notes on our food preferences were totally missed by the chiefs. There is definitely a big communication problem, luckily, nothing serious came from it and the orderes were changed quickly after the mistakes were highlighted.

It was a busy Saturday evening, but we managed to get a table, the food was great and the sevice was amazing, especially from Amy, our waitress, she was very friendly and helpful.

Amy provided excellent service to us throughout our time at Frankie and Benny's Plymouth. Has a good atmosphere, only minor snag was having a brioche bun for hotdog. I personally don't like that but thats a matter of my personal taste and not a failure from the service providers or Fanky and Bennys.

Party of 6 Poor service mains arrived when empty plates from the starters still present ..had to ask twice for water which came warm with one ice cube … starter and main plates took far to long to be cleared and empty drink glasses never got cleared throughout are meal till we left … disappointing for a 4 th birthday party as normally they go all out no music or balloons poor all round really 😞

Sadly I can't give a review on the food as when we visited there was only a limited menu so we ended up leaving because the food that was available was a 30-45 min wait... luckily there is a couple more restaurants near by. Not what it used to be shame

What a let down went today over priced I ordered the Lasagne and that's all you get for just under £14 no sald with it or chips my husband had the hotdog which came with cold chips which I did tell the Waitress and she did get us hot ones. The waitress where very Polite, and friendly. Shame will not be going back 😕

My partner and I recently visited the restaurant and unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. First and foremost, After an hour and ten minutes the food arrived at different times, causing a major inconvenience. While my partner had finished her meal, I was still waiting for mine to be served. To make matters worse, I received the wrong order not once, not twice, but three times. It's hard to comprehend how a restaurant can repeatedly make such a basic mistake. It not only shows a lack of attention to detail but also reflects poorly on the overall competence of the staff. Finally, when they managed to bring me the correct order, it was stone cold. There's nothing more disappointing than eagerly anticipating a delicious meal only to be served something that is completely lacking in warmth. It's clear that the quality control in the kitchen is severely lacking. Our experience at Frankie and Bennies was a complete disaster. From the staggered food delivery to the multiple incorrect orders and the final disappointment of a cold meal, it's safe to say that we won't be returning anytime soon. It's a shame because we had heard good things about the restaurant.

The waitress didn't write down our order and predictably got it wrong. Waited 55 minutes to get our starters and about 30 minutes to get our main, which was lacking and only received the rest as we were finishing. The 'hand- made' pizza was pathetically small and seemed as if it were bought in a local supermarket, with no garnishing or anything else for £15! Best part of £100 completely wasted when we would have been more satisfied by eating in at kfc.

Happy with food and with service, only thing I think could be improved on would be to make barbecue sauce free!

Amelka was awesome - speedy service. Phenomenal cherry Cuba libre and the NY Chicken as GF is awesome. Make sure to get the salad as a side.and have enough butter for the jacket potato otherwise the Jacket can be a little dry. Music at an appropriate level.

We regularly visit F&B because of the gluten free kids menu which means my daughter has a good choice of options and desserts

Had a really great experience at Frankie & Benny’s Plymouth. The food was prompt and cooked perfectly, the calamari was the best we’ve had at any of the Italian style restaurants, pizzas were excellent and the dessert was delicious with plenty of fresh strawberries. We do love going to Frankie & Benny’s. Just a shame we don’t have any near us, but still worth the travel. Already looking forward to visiting again.

Amelia was just the best hostess! From her patience with all of my kids and hubby to her great suggestions from the menu and the summer specials! The food was good but her presence made the visit even better. You will definitely see us back. Also thank you for all of the gluten free options. My daughter had a much nicer eating out experience.

Lovely meal, staff very friendly. I have a few food allergies and everyone was very accommodating. My food and drink was prepared completely separately so avoid cross contamination. Very reassuring experience
