I don’t usually eat at Frankie’s and Bennies but after a day out with my nephew we popped in for something to eat! Our server Bryony was absolutely fantastic and catered perfectly to my nephew. She was friendly, kind and fun. My nephew loved his food (as an adult Frankie’s and bennies wouldn’t be my first pick, but it’s great for young children). But the service was fab and was very accommodating to young children and all their quirks. Thanks again Bryony!

We gone with all family to Plymouth branch during our short holidays, we all were stunned by blond girl Amelka - she is so helpful and kind, explained every our question, even my parents in their 70's were happy with her, coz they get nice food to their taste when she recommended. Overall, that place is getting more thanks to staff like her!

Food amazing ! Staff are very friendly and attentive. Molly was our server and couldn't do enough. Steak was so tasty.

Really good service. Technically they lost our order and had to bring first and second course at the same time. But they gave us a 30% discount and the service was impeccable. Food is usual F&V fayre and we all enjoyed our orders. The nachos were slightly underwhelming, but burgers and salad were on point.

Alex our server tonight was really fantastic, really nice genuine young man. Food arrived hot and promptly. Will be back in April for another excellent meal.

We came as a group of 36 for a brownie event. Alex our server couldn’t have done more to make sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was missed food wise and everyone enjoyed their meals. All the staff including the managers were really accommodating for us as such a large group. Thank you so much! We won’t hesitate to recommend .

A pleasant experience but you need to have more choices for vegetarians in your menu.

Ive only been to this location twice and both times Amelia served us, she was lovely and clearly very good at her job but this time, 9/3/25 about 4-5ish, it seems like she was left alone for quite a while when we arrived and when 2 servers finally did turn up to help they mostly seemed to stay at the window waiting for orders instead of helping take orders, running drinks or sorting out bills etc. She is a wonderful asset to your restaurant but if our last vist is any indication she is being over worked while the rest of your service team sit by and watch. The restaurant itself was clean and we were seated quickly, the food arrived shortly after ordering but was very lackluster for the amount we paid, while the burger and fries weren't terrible they weren't worth £13. My partner was equally unimpressed with his pasta, he's vegetarian and only had a few items to pick from but the pasta he chose for £14ish wasn't much better than pasta and sauce anyone could make at home and wasn't bulked out with vegetables or anything, not even any cheese. As we were eating the restaurant started filling up which meant Amelia had more tables to keep on top of and it took us over 30mins to finally grab her attention as she ran past, that poor girl did so many laps of that restaurant during this time while the other servers barely did anything. It was clear we were finished and were trying to grab anyones attention for the bill but the other 2 girls chatted amongst themselves, ran a few plates of food and stood still, they didn't seem to take any orders or sort out the customers in any other way. If they don't pull their fingers out people will walk out without paying and I presume they would get in trouble for this, Amelia can't run that restaurant on her own and honestly I'm surprised she's still there, she deserves better.

Just want praise the excellent customer service we received from Ellie (I hope I remembered her name correctly 🙏) After an initial disappointing meal arriving lukewarm, she went out of her way to cook and serve me a piping hot meal herself! Further to that, she offered us a free desert by way of apology! I asked Ellie why she wasn’t the chef, as she was far better than the one on shift that day and she explained that she used to be, but fancied a change as she enjoyed the interaction with customers! The food was fantastic, the customer service exceeded any I’ve received anywhere else and I can highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning when I visit the area again. Well done Ellie, you deserve the recognition 🙌👏👏👏

Our experience at F&B is one that we will remember for a long time due to Trish for the excellent care she showed us as we hadn't booked a table.an not forgetting Emily whose service was excellent the giant mozzarella stick starter was lovely and the hot fudge sunday we shared was outstanding

Me and my wife Sue have had our second visit in a month and have to say it's becoming one of our favourite places to eat. Love the atmosphere and the music playing, the service is excellent (Lewis) and the food tastes lovely. Of course we will be back

Came in this evening with my partner expecting a nice meal, only to be waiting 25 minuites for our order to be taken. Food come out the chicken parm was disgusting very watery and not nice one bit, the chicken was soggy due to the pasta being soggy. The Mac and cheese was pasty and then ended up waiting 20 minuites to pay the bill after asking for our bill and the card machine. Ofcourse we didn’t leave a tip due to our experience and as soon as we didn’t the waitress tone changed. The music was so loud we couldn’t even hear ourself talking. Why would I leave a tip when the service was shocking, the only good part was the man at front desk who sat us down.

The food was lukewarm and not that nice. The staff had very little interest in speaking to customers and customers weren't that welcoming. A smile goes a long way. The milkshakes were nice and the staff doing drinks got them over quickly. Asked how we wanted the steak to be done just to give us the opposite to what we asked for. All the sauces and other things left on the table were empty.

Molly severed us and she was amazing! Great food and great service will be back!

Amelia was awesome - speedy service. Phenomenal Popstar Martini and the Double Bacon Cheeseburger as GF is awesome. Make sure to get the salad as a side.and have enough butter for the jacket potato otherwise the Jacket can be a little dry. Music at an appropriate level. Highly recommend strawberry pavlova. A meal at F&B in Plymouth is always a treat. Lovely atmosphere, great food and fabulous staff. A special mention to Amy, who always brings a little sunshine to the table, she is a true asset to the F&B family. We can’t wait for our next visit!

Just awful! Ordered bolognaise was literally served a bowl of spaghetti in water with a tiny smidge of meat. Informed waiter but nothing done or said about it. Service was slow and seperate. Was a pre booked large party put on 3 seperate tables to far to talk. Most definitely woukdnt go back. I have NEVER not enjoyed a meal out before.

What a night!! We booked F&Bs in Plymouth for my son’s 16th Birthday (He chose) from the moment I called up to book (Amelka) couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. She explained everything so clearly, and made me feel like we were in good hands. On the night our waitress was Amy. It’s understandable why this lady has so many positive reviews. Amy was so attentive and honestly could not have done anymore. We were a party of 32, which is no easy ride. She was on her feet constantly checking that everyone was happy with their food and had everything they needed. The food itself was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their meals and there were no returns or mistakes. My son and his pals loved it. The restaurant itself has such a quirky vibe, fun and just very welcoming. Everyone who works there was superb. At the bar we were greeted by a lady and gent and once again there couldn’t have been more accommodating. We personally think this industry is bloody hard going, we have several chefs in the family and also know a little about running a restaurant. This team is a credit to F&Bs - thank you to you all for ensuring our son had the best Birthday with his family and friends. Oh and of course singing Happy Birthday stevie wonder style!!! X
