Lee's Kitchen in Castle Point

First time ordered from here. Placed a phone order at 17.09pm for delivery and thought as just opened shouldn't be that long. Only a small order of 3 items and was told delivery would be 35-40 minutes. 18.44pm our order turned up!!! Food was very nice but was not worth the wait and will not be ordering from here again.

Would go as far as saying that this was the best chinese takeaway i’ve ever had! Always lived in Thundersley, but never really tried many of the Chinese takeaways in the area. Ordered directly through Lee’s Kitchen via phone, and worked out quite a bit cheaper than ordering from Just Eat. All of the food tasted amazing, non-greasy, really good food. Loved the satay sauce & beef chow mein. Will 100% be ordering from here again & will be recommending to family & friends.

We ordered a takeaway from here which we spent nearly £90 worth of food! The delivery time said between 40-60 minutes which we was ok with. The food did not arrive for 2 hours and then just said 'sorry we hope you enjoyed your food' I don't normally complain, but this is absolutely ridiculous the way things were handled when you spent nearly £90!!! I will NOT be ordering from here again.

Ordered the takeaway and it arrived early. Tastiest Chinese takeaway I've had for a long time. Was hot and good. Will order again

Another great meal from Lee’s Kitchen. I’ve had takeaways here for years and always enjoyed the food. We’ve just returned from holiday and after a 10 hour journey we really fancied a takeaway so I ordered it while in the bus. Great service, great food and very friendly service. 5 star takeaway.

Been using this Chinese takeaway for years was very good, but now, under new management, it was very poor the curry sauce was like water with no taste will not be using again

I have been a regular at Lees Kitchen for years and always enjoyed excellent food and service, never anything less. However, upon pulling up the other night I discover it is now under new management and sadly, the quality has plummeted. My food was bland. No other way to describe it. Where previously it had been full of flavour this was just devoid and had little in the way of taste. The biggest shock however was prior to that - the bill. I am a creature of habit and always order the same meal and was astonished to find an increase of 35% compared to a few weeks ago. I hope it is the case the new owners are having teething problems, time will tell. Otherwise I hope they change their name as Lees Kitchen has been around for a while and has a superb reputation locally that is in danger of vanishing. I genuinely don't enjoy writing negative reviews like this but felt very disappointed with pretty well everything about my visit except the friendly service.

As the title says. We live in Rayleigh but order from here as the food and service are very good! Highly recommended.

This food tasted like it was a week old ! I called them and tried to make a complaint but was told they are snowed under !! I explained that I have been using there service for years which I have been but they didn’t give a toss ! Won’t be using any time soon

Very quick delivery but the chow mein is very greasy and the chicken is like rubber. Won’t be using again.

Only ever use this takeaway or another which I wont mention but have reviewed. Food is good and plentiful. Curry is really good.

Visited the Lees kitchen 3.2.19 . The food was so tasty and hot . Good portions and quick service. Highly recommend

We’ve used Lees kitchen for about 2 years now for our Chinese takeaways. Never had a problem, always quick to deliver, fresh food and good taste!

The chicken dishes were terrible and had been reheated. Mr Lee needs to respect his customers and remember that there are plenty of other takeaways

Mr lees is good quality takeaway everytime. We used the others in the area with infrequent quality, over the last three years we have used mr lee ( he is actually mr lee as well lol) more and more until we only use him. Delivery is normally quick unless he leaves his phone engaged by accident again!!!
