It was disappointing unfortunately, everything’s were dry and tasted weird.

Oh dear. Ordered a chicken shawarma & an halloumi shawarma takeaway. Terrible! Soggy wrap & soggy filling. Went in the bin!

The food arrived so quickly… and on match day, too! Very impressive! The food was gorgeous, as always.

My lamb was cold, tough, overcooked and tasteless. I tried one piece and threw it away. I was offered £8.64 credit for an inedible dish that cost £17.

Absolutely amazing food, worth the money 100%

I order takeaway regularly from Lebabeat as the food is usually tasty, fresh and to a high standard but my last meal was inedible and tasteless. One of the more expensive options of lamb chunks, there was no taste of lamb and so overcooked it nearly broke my tooth. The Aryes were burnt and the bread was chewy and tough. I was offered a ‘free meal’ alternative but as it was so bad I’m not sure I would order again and would have been more satisfied with a refund 🥲

My new go-to takeout. Fresh, authentic, beautiful flavours and always plenty to go around. Wonderful place.

Wonderful tasty authentic middle eastern food. Great service and resonably priced. The chicken was a taste sensation.

I ordered the chicken wings and the mixed grill as a main course. The chicken wings were unseasoned, greasy and flavourless. It was accompanied by so-called garlic dip. The mixed grill consist of one piece of tough lamb more likely mutton, with equally tasteless and unseasoned pieces of chicken and meatball. The chips were overcooked dry and inedible One of the worst meals I’ve experienced in years needless to say I won’t be back

I spent £30 on the worst meal I’ve ever had. For starters, I had chicken wings totally tasteless even with the so-called flavourless garlic sauce! The mixed kebab of chicken, meatball and lamb was greasy and flavourless. The accompanying chips were equally abysmal they were dry overcooked and inedible.

Really disgusting experience. Ordered online and use to order fairly frequently as it was enjoyable. But today the entire order was wrong. No seasoning on the fries, the chicken completely different, not shredded but chunks, not unlike dog food. No colour the chicken was not red like advertised and it tasted horrifically bland. Really enjoyed this place but now I won't order again it's ear the standards have dropped off the cliff as its obviously clear the order is wrong.

We visited lebaneat on a Thursday night. The place was empty. (A couple came in and left without eating) and there was one more couple in there. We waited over an hour for food to arrive! No one had anything extravagant, Shawarmas and a parmo! We had to go and ask for more drinks as no one came to check if we had ran out. The food looked delicious when it arrived but it was just ok, not full of flavour just meh! (The chips were nice with some seasoning on!)

Not happy with food quality of mixed veg wrap. Veg not fresh looked from precooked frozen. Mix platter potatoes mushy not fresh. Biryani very bland and did not seem fresh mutton has smell.

Food arrived well packaged and piping hot - no mean feat from Yarm to Thornaby on a Friday teatime. The mixed grill is excellent value and was tasty.

I have eaten her a number of times over the last couple of weeks. The store is very clean, tidy and well presented. Staff are attentive, especially Marissa who works front of house most days. The food is as great as other Lebaneat stores which I have previously tried and lunchtime menu is priced very affordably.

A refreshing change. Plenty on the menu for everyone and reasonably priced. Will go again. The only negative was a very small wine list.

Might have been having an off night, but quite frankly it was awful… Falafel was black and as hard as a rock. The lamb was dry as a bone and everything was cold. Had I been ‘eating in’ I’d have sent the lot back.

Food quality was lovely. The wrap, rice and cheese were fab. The pizza tasted nice however it seems the toppings of the pizza flew over the box, and there was a hole at the bottom of the box and some of the toppings fell out everywhere and over my mum’s shirt.

Really enjoyable experience at Lebanet, the food was light on dressings, flavoursome and really fresh. Looking forward to another visit soon.

I’ve had a bad experience in York today with a lack of understanding about accessibility issues. When ordering from Labaneat today the guy had seen me struggling and said ‘the drinks are outside, I’ve seen you struggling, let me get that for you’ I broke down at this point as it was the biggest and best show of kindness I could have hoped for. Something so small yet so meaningful. 100 out of 10 for customer service.

(Didn’t eat in the shop, we had a Just Eat delivery) Absolutely gorgeous food! I had a halloumi wrap and my mum had a falafel and halloumi wrap! They were great! It came with chips which were beautifully seasoned! But the rice, the rice was the best rice I’ve ever had- absolutely beautiful!! We also shared the starter platter which was also very lovely!! I would definitely have the food from here again, and I would highly recommend people to try it!! :)

Food was delicious when we visited last Saturday although when splitting the bill we were charged full price instead of halving it. Staff apologised but otherwise would have been 5 stars.

Absolutely fantastic food and staff, the chefs are from the Lebanon so the food is tasty and authentic. The service staff are happy and full of smiles and the price is fair for the quality of food. Having lived in the Middle East and sampled similar cuisine it’s really nice to come here and be dragged back to those wonderful times. I wholeheartedly recommend you al to visit and sample the delights here.

Excellent service and food. Guidance in most appropriate dishes to buy was needed as large platters were v large and 2 served 6 with additional flat breads.

the flatbread had hard bits in like bone that I kept biting as I ate. It put me off so much I didn't want to eat any more.

Cold, no lamb on mixed grill, full of half cooked chicken wings, However they did send three pieces of warm lamb later on the evening once i complained. What a waste of £45 most went in the bin. Very disappointed I usually love it here

I usually love the food here. My kofta was overcooked/hard. It said served with grilled veggies but all I got was half a yellow pepper and a slither of red onion. The wrap was put directly on the rice so it was super soggy. The garlic sauce was super thin and runny, not like a sauce that it usually is. It was delivered within an hour on a Sunday night so that’s a positive thing I guess.

They delivered the two starters(dip type- £9) without the bread, had to ring them and they brought the bread back promtly and hot. The chicken was very salty, disappointing as id heard good things about the restaurant🧂 didnt end up eating it.

Went with work friends, quiet as afternoon but soon filled up. Service was slow but food was very tasty. Would recommend the Lebanese lemonade

This place seems to have gone downhill big time since covid. We used to class leboneat yarm as a treat. Tonight it was torture as was when we ate in a couple of months ago. Certainly will not be rushing back and certainly do not recommend.

Absolutely delicious as always. First time trying the garlic breads, so tasty and definitely superior to orher takeaway versions! Only thing to note is, I'd definitely put more salad in your falafel wraps and less falafel and it would be perfect. Thank you again for the delicious food 🙂

Ordered the spicy wrap which wasn’t spicy at all really but luckily still tasted good.

I got a delivery from Lebanese that ranks top of the awful food list. Rotisserie chicken, hard to get wrong.. this was overcooked by at least a week 👍 argos sell these ovens online making overcooking chicken almost impossible.. Thats unless it's a triple cooked chicken! I also got the shawma with hummus.. This chicken also days old. Bread.. Very disappointing out of a packet, not fresh in the slightest. The rice was nice though! £30 for rice as the rest went in the bin.

Ordered a take away today, normally a safe bet. Always have been really good. Not today though, borderline inedible. The bread was so dry and stale it crumbled in the packet. Normally our favourite part with the dips. The falafel was so over cooked it was solid and so dry. We were absolutely gutted as normally really good but this time a huge waste of £40, won’t be back for a while.

Absolutely everything tasted the same, lamb chops tasted identical to the chicken wings, must be marinaded and cooked together? chips are flavourless, and the sauce is as runny as tap water. Oh at least it didn't cost nearly £40.....

I had the popular shawarma chicken at Lebaneat and it was delicious. The place had a quiet and serene atmosphere on Yarm High Street. Generally, you’ll find varieties of unique Lebanese flavours that will excite your taste buds here. You will be served with a selection of starters and grills. I enjoyed every bite of my Sharwarma. I’ll surely recommend this place. Not to forget, the staff were 10/10. Good customer service delivery and prompt as well.
