Really bad Chinese, got a spicy prawn dish that wasn’t spicy and tasted a bit like jellied els. Chips terrible chicken boiled and awful. £50 and absolutely terrible

Deceitful and misleading menu items! Crispy shredded beef in Cantonese sauce should be renamed fruit and veg in Cantonese sauce with the odd piece of Crispy shredded beef. Chicken Chow Mein more accuracy should be named veg with a measly smattering of noodles and sliced chicken on top. No receipt provided!

Just passing through Darlington, looking for a Chinese restaurant for evening meal. Chose set meal for one, set starter & choice of main course from menu. excellent service, choice & price. Will return when back in area

Chicken curry: only just average, very very boring! The chicken was dreadful. Very poor eating experience for me personally. Has plenty of Curry powder flavour but not a drop of chicken juice. Note to self: do not use again please.

Very upset! On a Friday night when you have worked all week, then decide on a takeaway…. Do not use this one. For £55.40 , the only thing was was edible was the prawn chilli dish. The dish with noodles only a few noodles chopped into small pieces. Another dish was stodgy Bland …spring Rolls Chips very dry. Poor quality I do not understand how other reviews have been 5 stars. The gentleman who served me was pleasant, food not!

The worst food I’ve ever had in the area Crispy duck hard chewy old Spare ribs tough Special rice pre cooked rubbish meat layed on Fred rice. Best of luck. Second trial for me just as bad. How they achieve four stars is unbelievable

Ordered spicy dish and enquired if they could add a little extra spice, they said no problem and they gave me a dish that I would have been happy with in China. Well done to the guys in the kitchen.

Fresh and tasty. So why use processed ham? Yuk. Sorry not nice. Get that cost are rising , but u are charging £6 plus for processed ham and rice, so have quality ingredients if ur charging the prices you are. Whole meal was really nice…but the ham…sorry won’t be having that again…

Food was expensive & quite bland. We usually go to another Chinese but tried this place and it was nowhere near as nice in comparison. Disappointing and will not be trying again - even though its much closer to home.

Nice tasting food, would recommend, also very quick preparation for collection orders.

Great service and usually delivered in yarm within 15 minutes. Salt and pepper chicken is awesome.

One word “inedible”. Far too much salt. Sauce watery. Meat very poor quality. Vegetables old and discoloured.

Food smelt and tasted a little odd, both of us felt unwell during the night after eating it and even the dog was sick after only eating a few prawn crackers. I went in a few days later to complain and was told I would be called back, this never happened. I shall not got back to this take away. Disappointing lack of customer service and concern.

We order from here at least twice a week. Tony and his team are fantastic and only the quality of the amazing food outshines them. In seven years I have not once been disappointed. Keep up the great work x

Simply the best Chinese food in teesside

Don’t normally leave reviews for anything, but had one of the best Chinese meals from here last night. Ordered £40+ of food and it was all outstanding. They accommodated requests for changes/additions to dishes no problem and it was all very fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Also arrived in 30 min which was 15 min ahead of time. Will definitely order again ⭐️

Best Chinese I’ve ever had last night! Absolutely nothing that we didn’t enjoy, worth every penny! Compliments to the chef - we even called back to say how good it was! Came for a weekend away and was 100x better than our regular Chinese takeaway, shame we don’t live closer as it was amazing! Highly recommend!!

Best Chinese in the area! Gentleman who works on the front desk is delightful so polite and cheerful when you place/collect an order. Have tried many dishes and all are excellent quality, my personal favourites are the duck in plum sauce, king prawn curry and Lemon chicken. This takeaway is an asset to the Yarm area!

Great food, very tasty and good sized portions. We enjoyed several starters and mains and enjoyed everything greatly.

Reliably delicious! Sliced beef with green pepper and black bean sauce melted in your mouth. Salt and Chilli ribs will also remain a favourite. Always great food. Looking forward to my next visit.

Have just had a takeaway from here, never again, chicken kebab was horrible, all salad missing, they also missed other stuff off our order so didn't receive, garlic mayo was all squashed and split in bag. Will not order from here again, very disappointing

Tried this place as they are open on Monday when our normal takeaway isn't. The food was tasty and the meat tender and the menu has plenty of choice. It is a little more expensive than our usual but still not bad.

have ordered regularly for years and always loved the food and service. oddly, in the current climate of not using cash, they have decided not to take card payments over the phone. disappointed that I will have to find a new takeaway.

We are on holiday and picked this local based on reviews but wasn't impressed. The chow mein I have never seen chow mein like it it was more a chop suey! All dishes tastes the same. The meat was a good quality but not much flavour and not particularly hot. Won't be recommended or visiting again.

Had a takeaway for the first time and it was lovely... very good service. Large portions and the spring rolls are BIG. Will definitely be going there again.

Hi I ordered house special chicken and king prawns Peking style but recieved it in some odd salad cream sauce? It was nothing like Peking style food and was very disappointed, if you didn't have the right stuff available I feel you should have just advised that and I would have chosen something else, usually love this place but this has really put me off trusting what I can order, I like to try new things but this was not to the standard I expect from you.

Use this take away frequently. In my honest opinion it is the best Chinese takeaway in the area. If you have any questions or requests regarding the dishes the staff are always accommodating and helpful. If I’m in the area I will collect, otherwise a telephone call is just as quick and they take payment over the phone. Seamlessly and hassle free. Just on a side note in regards to a previous review, most Chinese Takeaways offer complimentary prawn crackers when you spend over a certain amount. It is a privilege and not a right. I don’t think I’ve ever been into a Chinese takeaway that offers free prawn crackers to every Tom Richard and Harry no matter what the cost is. They will be out of business come Christmas. The trick is not to ask for free prawn crackers but to merely enquire the minimum spend for the prawn crackers. The staff are normally on point with this though and if you do qualify will offer the crackers.

Always great food, well prepared but sometimes for the western palette as spices could be hotter in their hot dishes.

Everything just tasted really fresh and super tasty.It arrived in good time and both the lady who took the order and the man delivering were friendly and helpful.All round 5*takeaway!

Don't order chicken chow mein I've never been so horrified when ie opened a carton big spring rolls were bland considering this guy owns the 3 Chinese in the area there is such a downer on the chefs! I'm sick now of getting mediocre meals when they used to be good I'm now on a Chinese free diet until they can pick the standards up! Had enough!

We ordered a take away for delivery early on a Wednesday evening. We were able to pay by card over the phone which is great and saves having to have cash.The food arrived promptly, as promised and was piping hot and delicious.We shared chicken sati skewers, barbecue spare ribs and fried rice. More than ample for two.We will be using them again.

After ordering food on Friday evening, the young lady could not have been more helpful - advice on menu, free prawn crackers, pay be card etc ... Superb!!So good in fact we thought we would order again tonight (22/07) - enter arrogant call answered!! Placed the order and asked about if prawn crackers were included (Sarcastic laugh in response - we were asking based on the service 2 days ago!!)When I order anything what I want is consistency - all or nothing I dont really care, just be consistent. Unfortunately this is probably the last time we will now order - complimentary prawn crackers is NOT the issue!! It’s either provide them or don’t but whatever you do, don’t laugh sarcastically down the phone at a customer giving you business and money Advice to the owner - get your staff consistently right and you’ll be laughing - have the arrogant person who is on tonight and be prepared to lose business / good will and have disgruntled customer spread the word.In a business environment this is easy stuff - get it right or fail!!!Started so well - such a shame that this person casts a negative light on your business

A delicious Half Peking duck. Enormous portion - far too much for two. Accompaniments also delicious. Delivery very speedy.

We live in Ingleby but the food here is so tasty that we drive here to pick up. Our favourites are the salt and spicy chicken, the gravy is to die for and the chips are tasty and plentiful. Go here most weekends and would recommend to anyone nearby. Only criticism, was once I ordered the smoked chicken starter and it was really sweet, couldn't eat it.

We have been using this takeaway for more than 10 years. The menu is quite extensive and the staff are always helpful and friendly. We sometimes use the delivery option which is always on time.

BEST Chinese I have had in a while. They were very organised and the food was ready in 15 minutes, the staff were very friendly and the food was lovely you couldn't fault it! We had 3 main dishes and a side of chips and two soups for £24 which was in my opinion very reasonable because the portion sizes and the amount of meat you got was very good. And i am so pleased that we have found this Chinese because it's so hard to find a decent takeaway round here. Highly recommend and will be returning.

Bethany Martell I believ you are totally wrong about this place. I believe this is PLACE that serves good takeaway and nice serves. I would recommend there salt and pepper pork and salt and pepper prawns. But as a whole a great takeaway.

This review is based soley on the shrimp fried rice. I have never had shrimp so disgusting before, very old, tasting of iodine and not helped by bits of shell. Completely innedible. That being said, the place was very clean and seemed quite professional. I can only reccomend avoiding shrimp at all costs, not necessarily the rest of the menu.

Only Chinese I will visit (until eaglescliffe reopens). Foods delicious and always hot. For example, favourite is the ginger and spring onions with whatever meat I fancy. Unlike many dishes of the same name (from other Chinese takeaways) you can actually taste the ginger in the dish! If you ask them, they will cook a dish to your liking. The staff have always been friendly and dishes are cooked quickly. Cannot advise on delivery as I'm happy to collect as having a pub opposite is very handy :-D

I cant tell you how many times over the years my family and I have ordered from this takeaway, however since they moved from Durham Lane the service is rude and unprofessional! As a result we have switched to the takeaway at Sunningdale shops, out of laziness tonight we ordered from Eaglescliffe because they deliver, after dealing with the usual stroppy tone we waited the usual long wait for out below average food to arrive. And lo behold they missed dishes out that we'd paid for, you'd think they would be apologetic for something they did wrong and send out said dishes as soon as possible... well you'd be wrong they were beyond rude told us we'd have to wait another hour and blamed us for the 'misunderstanding' so if you want cold food that might be with you in an hour and might be the food you ordered along with RUDE service this is the place for you! WORST TAKEAWAY IN STOCKTON.
