i first discovered leavers when the were on audley in 1975 i bought a hand glazed meat pie and a vanilla slice i was now hooked i still buy from friendly efficient very knowledgeable staff at leavers

Best pie shop in Blackburn! My dad loves the pies and my boyfriend goes here regularly for a breakfast sandwich! The vanilla slices are amazing and we love the tea cakes also! Small family run bakery that is a good all rounder! Definitely recommend

Made some meat pies for a buffet I did they where amazing, tasty and full of meat would recommend them any time. I have just ordered another 40 for my daughters 18th

Meat, potato, steak, all very tasty pies. Sandwiches made fresh to order, plenty of ham or choice of filling on each. Cakes various, all good and fresh.

I like a pie, and if you enjoy a pie, this is the only place to be.Can't really say which is my fav pie, because they are all exceptional.Maybe the potato? Steak?Buter?Meat? All of them to be fair. You have to give them all a try. As for their sarnies, wow! They use the finest ingredients in all of them, but it's the bread Tcakes that make them high quality.The cakes are top notch too, you have to give them a go. The staff have always got a cheeky grin, and full of banter. 11 out of 10 for me.

All pies at this establishment are very tasty , meat, potatoe, steak. Sandwiches and various cakes all tasty and fresh every day.

After reading wonderful reviews of this tiny bakery we decided to sample a couple of pies. So good were they, we staggered out with an enormous box full.

The best for a pre-match pie. I had potato and meat, but the cheese and onion is equally good. Close to ground and with pleasant and efficient staff.

Went on my weekly visit today to the wonderful Leavers , oh how I love this shop and it’s friendly staff , always lifts my mood when the lovely blonde lady serves me she really is nice I think she is called Vivien

Ok you have to queue but anything worth having is worth waiting for and the pies at Leavers are worth the wait. The staff are great and happy to assist if your struggling with choice. They do all the usual sandwiches, pies and cakes but its the pies Leavers are famous in the area for and its well deserved. We've been calling for years and it just gets better might not be posh outside but its whats on the inside that counts every time.

Still to this day the best steak pies I've ever tasted, a long standing family business in Blackburn, outside the football ground, Ewood Park.

Went into the bakery before going to a game at Ewood Park. Had a steak pie, it was packed full of meat, much better than the pies you get in football grounds.

Originally from Ewood & my family have been buying from Leavers family bakers for what must be over 70 years.

Always really good, fresh food, usually a long queue unfortunately. Worth the wait though. It's always good food.

I visit Leavers whenever I am in the area, hard to choose which pie to have they are all so good. At breakfast time Bacon and sausage are top quality not the cheap and nasty stuff you can get sometimes.

Been coming here for years. The bread is really nice and the pies would win awards easily. My wife won't eat pies but she will eat one of Leavers.

Siempre he estado muy contento con el servicio, y los pasteles y fue un gran lugar para conseguir un buen delicia repostería en las semanas recientes, sin embargo, el servicio ha decrecido desde su habitual servicio excepcional a una mala calidad. Nos cobraron por pasteles no llegar y sólo tenía la mitad de los alimentos habituales. Una vez más tuvimos que repetir su pedido 3 veces antes de que lo conseguí y no estaba lleno. Ahora tengo casa puedo ver por qué.

Why I am writing this review I don't know, the simple truth is selfish, we don't want everyone knowing how good this bakery is and eating all the pie before we get there.

All pies on made on the premises, Steak, meat, meat and potatoe are delicious. Directly across the road from Ewood Park the home of Blackburn Rovers FC.

Great pies steak and kidney meat and potato too. One problem the owners a right t****er. He served someone who came into the shop after I did and he( the owner) served him first. To me that is ignorance.

Best pies in LancashireI was reared on these pies & they are absolutely lush. I live away now in N.Ireland but when I visit home I always have a bulk order to take back with me.Leavers should open up in Belfast - we have no good pies over here!!!

excellent pie shop best meat and potato pies ive ever had and i have my own pie shop in bolton and i think we serve great pies but i cant beat there meat and potato pies

Good freshly made tea cakes, tasty pies,( potato, meat, steak), a good assortment of cakes to suit all tastes, bacon , egg and sausage tea cakes, all made fresh.

Situated near Blackburn Rovers football ground, on the main road, they make super quality steak pies, proper steak and gravy, lovely! Meat pies, sausage rolls and sandwiches are excellent too. Great if you're putting on a buffet.

Leavers bakery in Blackburn makes the best pies in the world there Meat and Potato pies are to die for they rival any top branded pies!The pastry is perfect every time and the filling is scrumptious with no gristly bits! The other pies and there fillings are just as tasty but the meat and potato are my favourite!The service is fantastic there a lovely bunch of ladies always ready to make anything you fancy!!I think Blackburn rovers should sell leavers pies at half time instead of what they do already as there awful and they should support local businesses!!!
