This has a huge rear garden and a big front one too. The back has a marquee that covers a large area so it's good even when the weather isn't cooperating. There's also outdoor stalls serving food and drinks in the summer. Decent veggie choices as well, and always friendly.

Incredible garden. Friendly staff. I had the burger which I was too much as it's a double patty.

Very happy with experience last Saturday, despite being a busy day for Rhys and his team due to Rugby and AFC Wimbledon playing at home (they won 2-0 to Notts County if you are interested!) they did a great job with our table for 20. Thanks for making my wife's party a memorable experience

The Leather Bottle on Garratt lane, not far from Wimbledon's football ground, part of the Young's stable. My visit during the build-up to a home game. Busy, rushed but still with great service and great beer. A great peaceful retreat in the lounge at the front of the pub (allowing me to write this!). Great pub.

Came for lunch with some friends. Good food good good wine lovely attention from Ingvild good laughs all round and at a reasonable price. I had sprats fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding washed down with some Syrah-Grenache. Beats working any day!

Came here with a large group of 8 and had booked one of the huts in the garden. We ordered drinks with the app and when they still hadn’t arrived 25 minutes later I went to check on them and was told the order had not gone through. This was surprising as I had received both a confirmation email from the app and the money had been taken out of my bank account. And in any case someone should have let us know if there was an issue and not just let us wait. I was told I would get refunded for the initial order and that I should reorder on the app which I did. Unfortunately even with the second time ordering we again waited a long time for the drinks to finally come. In the end it was 1 hour and 15 minutes from the time we arrived for our booking until we finally got the drinks which is totally unacceptable for a pub. At that point we had already finished all of our meals and were basically wrapping up to go home. The ordeal with the drinks kind of ruined the whole experience, which was a shame as the food and location was nice. In this situation I thought the manager should have comped the drinks but all we got was a pretty indifferent “sorry for the wait..” when they finally arrived over an hour late..

I booked one of the huts in the garden for a work meeting - from start to finish the service was 10/10. Booking the spot was so easy, we when arrived everything was set up nicely - warm fireplace was on, blankets ready for our use and the facilities were great too - plugs for our laptops and customer Wifi. We also had some lunch - absolutely delicious, filling, tasty and reasonably priced

What an amazing Sunday we had! I’ve booked here after reading some reviews in regards their Sunday roast and let me tell y’all… so good! One of the most delicious roast I’ve ever had, the beef was cooked to perfection! I’ve also had a bite of my partner’s roast pork and it was fantastic, melt in your mouth goodness! And omg, we had a bread and butter pudding that should be illegal, it was so good that I can’t find words to describe it, I could have had a whole tray! The guy that look after us was outstanding, didn’t catch his name but he was wearing a flat cap. In my opinion that’s what hospitality should be all about, a warming welcome that made us feel at a friends house that we’ve known for years, even the girl that came to table to bring us our roast was very polite and friendly and treated us as family. Definitely recommend going there. I’m sure they will be seeing me whenever I’m back to London. If I could give any more starts I would!

Great Sunday roast but the restaurant manager was unnecessarily rude when we arrived.

My wife and I had not been to The Leather Bottle for over thirty years and we found a lot had changed. The pub has been beautifully refurbished and on a damp, drizzly day was warm and welcoming (the real fire was a lovely touch). There was unusual and attractive art on the walls and the General colour scheme was most tasteful. We only stopped for a brief drink but, during that time, we were most impressed by the warm and attentive service provided by Kyle and his colleague behind the bar. We shall certainly visit again for lunch in the near future.

I really enjoyed our visit to the Leather Bottle. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food tasty, the wine good and the service was excellent. Kyle greated me warmly, he was friendly, approachable and was happy to chat when it was quiet. Kyle worked really hard, it was great to see someone who enjoyed their work.

Wonderful food and service from Kyle. The wine was great too. Will definitely be back soon. Tasty schnitzel and triple-cooked chips.

Recently went for a Sunday roast - terrible experience. Staff avoided customers like the plague. They got our order wrong (gave a vegan beef) and we had to wait ten minutes for the correct order whilst everyone nearly finished their meal. Had to ask for our drinks on four separate occasions. Won’t be back.

Visited immediately prior to an AFC Wimbledon game. Was busy but not overly so given the football. Great pre-game watering hole.

We had the Sunday roast which was generous and delicious. The lady who was looking after us was also great and really patient and attentive - thank you

Lovely cosy pub but the food is terrible, worst Beef bourguignon I’ve ever had. It’s a shame.

We left before we even got to order , staff (one of them) was soo rude and unhelpful we just left. Asked if we could move away from the fire as we had a 2 yr old with us. Plenty of free tables around and they guy said no and quite literally may have shrugged his shoulders and walked off. Then they lied and said they offered to love us. Shame as it looked nice . Just awful staff (one of them at least)

Went for Sunday lunch, service was very good, and the food was excellent. I honestly couldn't fault anything, I couldn't actually eat it all because there was so much! Also have a good selection of wines to choose from.

The food here is mediocre. Nothing to shout about but not the worst. Service is terrible. The man at the computer never turns round. Took ages to get the attention of anyone.

Been to this establishment many times for casual and formal events. One of the things I love most is the beer garden. Huge. Great canopy terrace. I have had cigar events here and accommodated at least 200 people.

Food catering for groups is on the small side 😞.

Nice pub with indoor outdoor seating. You have small huysuz outdoors with fireplace for colder weather. There is parking as well. Would be worth visiting.

Wonderful Sunday roast today. The food was delicious. Perfectly cooked crispy roast potatoes, flavour-filled chicken and the gravy was spot on! Everything was cooked to perfection. One of the best pub roasts I’ve had. The team (Rhys, Feefs and Joao) were so lovely, friendly and accommodating. Honestly couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend! We also had desserts, which were also fab.

Turned up before football as usual, tried to sit inside (as it was -1) and got told the table was reserved, no reserved sign on table, and when we left 2 1/2 hours later it was still empty. Sat outside under a heater and 1/2 hour later got moved for someone else, again no reserved sign. Won’t be going back.

Whilst this is a pleasant pub the drink prices are higher than many other pubs A pint of beer and a medium white wine charged at £10.35p Would you believes they had run out of house white so I had to have pinot Surely they should have made the pinot the house white in that case.

We had an amazing Christmas Dinner here. The atmosphere was perfect, food excellent- the staff really made the day, smiling and fun. Although all tables were full, they had time to chat and make us feel special and very welcome. Looking forward to going again soon.

We went to the Leather Bottle for lunch on Christmas day, the only thing I can say was it was absolutely... BRILLIANT! The service, the staff, the atmosphere. Special thanks to the chefs because the food, all of it, was excellent. A nice touch as well was the personally written Christmas card on each table. Thank you!

We had drinks booked for just after the football (Wimbledon) had finished and it was busier than ever, so I was very glad I booked a table. Unfortunately someone was sitting at our table when we arrived but as we had our booking, the table was made available for us and we were able to have a great evening. I want to mention Feebs in particular, as she constantly looks after us when we visit for drinks and meals. It is great to have such excellent service (rare these days) and friendly conversation. @Leather Bottle, she is a great asset to your team! Many thanks :)

I organised a Christmas lunch with friends for Saturday and couldn’t have been happier with the day! The room (the study) was laid out so nicely, with Christmas crackers included too! The food was fantastic and service very attentive on a busy Saturday. Special shout out to Feefs for her friendly and accommodating service throughout the day - greatly appreciated! We have found our new annual Christmas lunch spot it seems!

The worst value for money dining experience in London. On arrival we were ushered outside to a cold hut with no heating (despite many requests to turn this on). In much anticipation we pre-ordered their set Christmas menu which was a hefty £69 for a sharing platter for 6. When this arrived we were very disappointed to find that a shocking 3 portions of these ‘sharing platters’ were thrown together haphazardly onto one plate and was only enough food to feed 5 people comfortably. A platter supposedly for 18 people to share only had a few potatoes , mounds of Brussels sprouts (to overcompensate for the barrenness of the plate) and several sorry pieces of turkey. A very disappointing evening from one of previous regular clientele.

Massive pub with lots of different areas inside and out. Large beer garden with covered section. Good section of beers. Car park and bike parking at rear.

Amazing after it's been refurbished, looks high spec and impressive. Huge missed opportunity for the owners by not having the autumn international rugby playing - that garden would be buzzing.

6 of us had dinner here last night as a special occasion. The bad experience began with indifferent service as no staff were around to seat us. An order of beef bourguignon with mash was delayed as “chef had messed it up” (how, I’ve no idea) so our meals cooled while we waited for the correction. We then found that another order was burnt, so had to return that and wait again. The other dishes were either poorly cooked (solid poached egg with the fishcake), dry or lacking the flavour and sauces advertised. I’d suggest that the chef paid less attention to his phone while cooking and more to the food.

Much better!!! Been coming here for a few years and have had some bad experiences but it seems that they have got things right in many ways now!! From the moment we arrived we were shown to our table and service was quick and efficient. Bella was our server and was really good at helping us order drinks and food. The food was really nice and well presented! We had a mixture of the main menu and the burger shack menu. The drinks were served promptly too! Thank you to all the staff!

Best Fish and chips!!!!!! I have come from Australia and one of my friends have suggested this place. I never imagined that it can be this tasty. And also huge thanks to Maria one of the staff member. She helped me thorough out the menu and gave me one of the best spot to sit and enjoy my dinner. Also she is kind enough to guide me the best spots in London. Loved their hospitality. And have to say, this place will always be a best memory whenever I will think of London vacation. I LOVE it here and I would definitely recommend a visit to anyone. I come from west London and visit Earlsfield for work and I always pop in and have a drink and some food and sit in the corner in front of the cosy real fire. Cosy atmosphere and delicious Sunday roasts. Family friendly and dog friendly too. Feefs served us and was delightful! We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back.

Loved everything about this pub, the environment was lovely and the food is well. I don’t even have to mention how excellent the service was! Feefsu was the waiter that made my evening even better!! She was extremely charismatic and welcoming😊, overall I had a great evening.

Lovely pub , great potential, unfortunately general pub etiquette is no where to be seen, understandably licensing is up until 12 is a necessity for any pub in the uk is completely ignored, pub manager blamed this on working a 14h shift and discretion of choice to serve. Regardless of the bar maids rudeness prior to even talking to him. Claims that Youngs is such a successful business it doesn’t matter. Take more care in your business and your pride about work and maybe you will get repeat customers.

Had a great Sunday roast and a wonderful server called Feefs. Definitely a favourite place.

Very tasty steak frites for Saturday lunch. The pub was extremely busy and lots of family group and football fans on the way to Wimbledon so a bit noisy but a good atmosphere. Service a little slow as a result. But great local pub with a good menu and excellent for meeting friends!

Very average. 6 bar staff and it still took 15 minutes to get served and it wasn't that busy. Don't what the food was as I didn't have any. It's probably good for young people I don't know but for me it's too big with no atmosphere.

I do enjoy coming to the leather bottle, atmosphere is always great because it’s always packed. Make sure you book a table. Drink prices are on the more expensive side. The beer garden is great! Expect to wait at the bar for at least 10 minutes or when ordering to your table.

I usually love this spot and chose it to celebrate my birthday at the weekend, however unfortunately didn't receive the great service which I usually do. I had booked an area for drinks outside for my birthday. When we arrived, we were told by the person at the front where to go. The pub was very busy with it being a Saturday night, and we weren't shown where to go or how to get there, so was quite hard to find due to how busy it was. When we finally found the table we had booked, it was absolutely filthy. It hadn't been cleaned from the previous booking. The table was soaking as was covered in spilled drinks, lots of empty glasses, used and wet napkins and bird poop. When we told a member of staff and asked them to help us clean it, they didn't help at all and made us clean the table and bring the glasses back. Of course, it was a busy Saturday, so completely understand that they might have been tight with staff and very busy serving etc which is completely understandable - but I think making customers clean their own tables is a step too far. My friend had to use her bank card to scrape off the bird poop Despite this, the night was great. But l certainly did not receive the excellent service which I usually do from this pub when I visit.

Feefs was above and beyond friendly. 10am when it’s early she made the difference to me and my group. It’s hard today to make a difference with UK customer service, she definitely did and should be recognised for it. Well done. X

Pleasantly surprised. Good service. Clean and very well maintained. I had been looking for a quiet place to have a coffee.... and the sign outside was what made me go in.... something about - who knows if there are lions further up the road :)

The recent referb has the back garden looking amazing. Everything was great, just a little long on the wait times from ordering to receiving food.

Service was a bit hit and miss. Lengthy queues at the bar and there didn’t seem to be enough staff. Very attentive staff when we started dinner but they disappeared!

Daughters 30th Birthday party We recently had an amazing time to celebrate my daughters 30th birthday in the garden at leather Bottle eastfield and was blown away by the exceptional service . The atmosphere was Friendly, fun and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome especially one of the staff Maria she was so attentive and friendly. We asked her for several things numerous time but she was so active and her service was lovely. Thanks to her .I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to book a party for a great experience.

A nice bar to have in the neighbourhood. Played quiz here a couple of times and I especially liked the outdoor area mainly hut that is nice and cozy on warmer days. The staff is a highlight. Everyone's friendly and Maria was especially helpful and took great care of us London is a diverse place and talking to nice and interesting people is exactly what's great about this city. I recommend dropping by this place . Thank you to leather Bottle for such a great experience.

The garden is lovely, and the wait staff were nice. The bar staff were unpleasant and over charged us twice, this would not have been noticed if we didn’t point it out, and they were confrontational. This appears to be something the do regularly, watch your wallets!

Extremely impressed with the quick service and kind staff! Attended a large group birthday event on bank holiday, and the staff were so fast and patient with our multiple drink orders . I guess the staff name was Maria because she left some card with her name Also she was extremely helpful with storing our surprise birthday cake in the fridge and giving us cutlery and knives. Security at the door was also polite. Would really recommend this place!!

Good pub overall with a decent quiz and quiz master. But there are many irritating issues. The pub is saved by its large beer garden. 'Young's on tap' app is a pain. During busy periods they appear to disconnect this option from the tills - of course users don't see any issues until they have downloaded the app, created an account, selected what they want and then just as the proceed to pay a message flags that the 'till has been disconnected'. It also appears that the app does not update to reflect when, say, the kitchen has been closed. Music can be excessively loud, stifling conversation. Food is good overall. However, the beer sourdough should be avoided - past experiences have seen this come out after mains despite being. 'while you wait'. You will wait and, when it does appear, it will not be worth it. Beer garden is massive and brilliant.

Took my dad for lunch here and can safely say we will definitely be coming back - the food was exquisite, came out pretty quickly and way better than expected for pub food! The portion sizes were amazing (we had to take food away with us we couldn’t finish it!) and even the desserts were to die for! We were looked after so well, the staff are all so friendly and attentive. A real pleasure dining here!

Nice pub. Ignore the seating at the front and go through the pub to the garden - much quieter and very children friendly. Seemed to be a lot of staff on duty, but not all of them doing much work. Only bar service was inside - one person working hard. No service at outside bar - but two staff stood there chatting, and in my case, sending people inside...

Seriously. The service is great. The food is yummy. And the patio? Wow. The assortment of the demographic speaks wonders as to the accessibility of this place. We sat between a group of 70 year olds and a baby shower. And conversed with both groups equally! This place can’t be beat in a sunny day.

Heard about this place from a friend, and finally decided to drop in for a late lunch. The service was really good, and the atmosphere was very welcoming and family friendly. We couldn't help ourselves, and kept on ordering more rounds.
