Authentic food, nice and friendly staff, and reasonable price, highly recommended. If you go there once you will go again for sure.

Servicio excelente. Encantado de tener tropezamos en este lugar.

Popular hang-out with Arabs. The food is pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Lots of cakes. Nice drinks and friendly service.

I have say the English breakfast was truly awful. I run a restaurant myself and I would estimate the cost of the ingredients that went into the £6.00 breakfast to be about 60p, very poor.

Cafe bien poco.

I come in my lunch break as I work locally and always enjoy the food. The coffee is good. My friend had home made veg soup and warm bread for £3 yesterday while I had a homous salad wrap..both excellent and so reasonable. Great selection of cakes and savoury food. The staff were delightful on 14 Jan when we visited...really made an effort to help us. All for a tenner, including a tea and cuppucino. They also sell Portuguese goods such as lemon jam, chilli oil and packets of coffee to takeaway. I bought these as presents and ended up keeping them as they were so good!

What can I say, I visit here often, when I am in the area. Best coffee by a long shot in Tooting :).Portuguese style cafe which caters both sweets and savouries, so your morning coffee sorted and lunch too :)And don't forget a proper orange juice squeezed in a juicer, which I have seen mostly in Spain and Portugal. A little glass of sunshine!!

Waste of money. The worst coffee I've ever had in my life. Over roasted coffe + over boiled milk = catastrophe. Waitress doesn't even speak English.

Great selection of middle eastern and european cakes. They do a really good Portuguese style custard tart. The staff are always friendly. The place is clean and modern. I'm always very tempted to pop in when I catch a glimpse of the cakes in their window!

We were visiting St. George's Hospital and while we were asking for directions to the hospital, we discovered this corner coffee shop called Cafe Delta. We were amazed with the variety of choice of food in such a small sized coffee shop. Patisserie, pastry, hot food, sandwiches...etc. The staff were really helpful and friendly, especially one of them who was teaching us some Spanish words. I really liked the interior decor, makes you feel cosy. We ordered spanish tortilla, spicy Portuguese sandwich, English breakfast. The taste was good and the price was more than reasonable and each was under a fiver. I had a fresh orange juice but my wife and my relative had an espresso coffee and mocha which was really great tasting. We finished the meal with red velvet and black forest cake and apple pie which made us feel that we chose the right place to eat and drink especially the bill was quite reasonable for the quality food and service we received from the staff. We dont live in Tooting but if we come again we'll definitely eat in this cosy Portuguese/Spanish place.

I was having an amazing morning an popped in to get a coffee and breakfast on my way in to work.Walking in felt like drinving staright into a 20mph zone from a motorway. 3 members of staff busy doing absolutely nothing... slowly. All 3 seemed to serve me at once... slowly. Anything they said I had to ask them to repeat 2 or 3 times as they were all so timid. 5 minutes after walking in (with no queue whatsoever) I was given a lukewarm mocha which didn't appear to have any coffee or chocolate in, and a croissant, with all 3 quizzing me over and over whether it was a croissant or a doughnut that I wanted. I took great care to reassure them that I wanted a croissant. Repeatedly.I left the shop, spring decidedly out of my step, with a coffee so full that it sputed out of the lid onto my hand and clothing with every step. I also noticed that I had been charged for a large coffee but given a medium. This was not typical of previous vists to this place. Hopefully it was just 'work experience week'.The croissant was delicious.

There is no menu to show what food is on offer, so I ordered the "full English" for ease. Was awful. Cheap bread, cheap sausage, horrible bacon that was more like cured turkey/hotdog consistency. The egg was an egg. The coffee was alright.I left everything on my plate and said it was inedible but was offered no discount or apology. the cakes and pastries are left open and the kids were running back and forth behind the counter, touching and coughing on everything. Will never go back. Nearby cafes are much better.

The cafe has been refurbished to a good standard and is a nice contrast to the down market cafe's nearby. My English Breakfast was a disappointment though, the cheapest brown bread which was impossible to spread the ice cold butter on, the cheapest poor quality sausage which I left to one side, shrivelled continental bacon, cold under cooked tomato, over done mushrooms, the egg was fine though and coffee was actually rather good.Heating the plates up for serving would ensure the dishes stayed warmer for longer.Potential to be a great little cafe but room for improvement.

Last week I took my young daughter to a hospital appt., at St. George's - a 2 minute walk away from Cafe Delta. On previous occasions, we have just walked straight from the station to the hospital without stopping for a drink or snack. However, having walked by this shop window and seen the display of tasty ice creams, I knew my little girl would love one, so we stopped. They take only cash (no cards) so I had to go to a nearby cash point, but it was worth it. The ice cream for my daughter was erved in a bowl but with strawberry sauce and chocolate curls which was a nice touch. I asked for a weak latte and it was perfect! The staff were very friendly and welcoming , the cafe was clean and smart; and contemporary but incredibly cosy at the same time. A little gem! Will definitely be back again on our next visit to St George's.......in fact, we will even get an earlier train just so we have time to pop in. Do try it....it's lovely..

As a local resident I always try the upcoming restaurants and cafes. This one is one of my favourites. Been here last weekend with my fiancee as she is very fond of desserts and after a quick meal at home we decided to go for some desserts. The staff were very welcoming and cheerful. I was been asked to choose from a variety of them. We tried a coffee and a lemon slice (flavours) and they were just wonderful. Want to try out their breakfast deal soon and will be going back for the same.

Stopped in here twice in one day before and after a visit to St. George's Hospital. Nice Portuguese sandwich shop and patisserie with Italian ice creams and the usual range of drinks.Their quiche was delicious, and even when ordered to take away, they unexpectedly served it in a small box with a portion of fresh salad (which was very nice). Service was friendly, not particularly speedy but they did everything properly so one tends not to mind. Apparently it's only been open a few months; based on our experience they should do well, and I'd happily go there again if I happen to be in Tooting.

The staff are purposely rude and the bog standard food is fluffed with pretentious names. The coffee is fine, and the food is wildly overpriced. You’re fooled if you pay full price and assume that’s good value. I’m embarrassed for whoever threw up the concept.

My wife had looked out this place before I joined her for a couple of days staying with friends who live quite nearby. Excellent flat whites & pastries - well worth a return visit, which I tried late the next afternoon but unfortunately they were closed.

I go to M&S minimum twice a week for lunch. I really like Caesar salad with a smoothie. Today I was very disappointed. The lettuce today was soggy, my croutons were soft and the dressing was watery. Listen, you are nailing lunch at the moment...please don't drop your level
