Leapark Hotel in Falkirk

Another great stay here. I had room 18 (been in here before) and it was so clean and comfortable. The linen was fresh and crispy too. The only thing was the smell in the bathroom smelt of sewage when you opened the door, it had been obvious someone had reported it before as you could see the Lino had been pulled back and seen the evidence of flooding by the loo. But with the door closed you couldn’t smell it. I know this isn’t usual for the hotel so it didn’t bother me. I just reported it when I left. Breakfast was lovely all fresh and the waiting on staff were lovely. One recognised me from previous visits and took the time to talk to me. Upon check out the bar had charged back the cost of my meal to the room even though I paid it on the Thursday night before I left the restaurant with the guy behind the bar with longer black hair, but there want an issue the receptionist that was on the Sunday morning was really pleasant and said she would sort it. All in all a very very nice stay again and staff are all fabulous. I definitely will be back again, and won’t hesitate to recommend here.

All good accept for one very rude waitress who told us when we asked for another order of drink to our table that her duties were only to serve food. Asked a few other waiting staff who told us they were there to serve. We have never been rude and always leave a good tip. However due to this one person's refusal to serve we won't be back in the Lee Park again. Sorry Lee Park but you should address this.

Another great bar lunch at leapark. The garlic chilli chicken was absolutely superb. The best I’ve tasted tbh and so fresh I wish they did takeaways lol. It would be amazing if they did fresh nan breads with it and maybe lamb or extended the curry range as it was so good compared to a takeaway. We also had scampi which was really lovely and plentiful. The menu is extensive and they do a fantastic specials menu. The desserts were delicious and so well presented. Staff are so very nice and helpful nothing was a problem. I will definitely be visiting again and again. The leapark should update the menu on Facebook or website as people need to see. Chefs get a 10. Will be visiting sometime soon again for sure.

I travel to Grangemouth on many occasions and stop at Various Hotels, Leapark Hotel is by far the best, Great staff, great Food and the rooms never dissapoint, The Hotel is not far from the Town center

The staff are a great team of people. There are friendly and can’t do enough for you. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend. There is nothing that can faulted at this hotel. Thanks again Pauline Noble

I stayed here over the course of 10 weeks with work, basically living out of the hotel on a mon-thurs basis. The staff at the hotel are lovely, very accommodating and attentive to your needs. Despite being in the midst of lockdown, I felt very well looked after and equally very safe during my time at the hotel. The food is excellent too, with the curries being particularly noteworthy. There’s a good selection of meals to fit most palates and everything I had to eat was always to high standard. I would thoroughly recommend the Leapark hotel and it’s staff to anyone thinking of visiting the area, whether that be for work, or as a tourist. Don’t forget to have a wander around Grangemouth too. There’s a lovely park about 5 minutes walk from the hotel, and a memorial to spitfire pilots from all across the world who trained here during WW2. The Kelpies is also not far, and is well worth a visit too.

Visited with my Wife as we had a two for one voucher. We both took fish and chips, huge portions, clean presentation, our only negative was the fish had quite a few bones, so had to be eaten with care. My Wife eats here weekly (lady who lunches, ho ho) and recommends the curry. Maybe next time!

We eat here regularly now. It’s so busy at weekends we now have to book a table. The food is amazing with generous portions and the bar staff are adept at mixing cocktails. We had a relative from Australia stay in the hotel and his room was comfy, clean and warm. He was very happy with it.

Visited with my wife and Gran for the first time in a while and we all enjoyed our dinner. The steak pie, fish n chips and scampi were all nice while I really enjoyed the honeycomb crunch ice cream was great. Can’t argue with the prices either, great value.

We visited tonight for the first time only because my wife won a voucher at an event. I was totally very pleasantly surprised. The interior was modern and very nice. As for the food.... it was fantastic. I had a curry which said it was homemade and it certainly was. Exactly as you would get in an Indian restaurant. My wife and daughter both had Mac and cheese which was, in her words the best she had ever tasted. Thank you and we will see you again soon.

Had a brilliant night last night at the party night. Dinner was superb. Entertainment was very good. Always have a good night at the leapark so much that we are back for two nights in January

We were actually working at a ladies event in the hotel. Staff were friendly & helpful and the food we had in the restaurant was top notch. I had the Macaroni and cheese, which I can honestly say is the best I have ever had ...anywhere! My workmates also really enjoyed their food too and portions were generous. Manager please note, this was Sun the 29th Sept and the waitress who was on that afternoon was fantastic and def went the extra mile for us. Sadly I cant remember her name :(

Visited here with my mate,We both had the steak pie, gravy was like water, meat a bit tasteless,bit of a disappointment,decour and atmosphere was nice, wouldn't go back, steak pie was such a let down.

Opted to have dinner here on a friday evening. Greeted and seated quickly on arrival. Drinks served very promptly. Good variety of options on menu including fish, burgers, steaks, pasta, pizza and more. Would say there was something for everyone on the menu.Food was brought fairly promptly. Staff friendly enough.Nice setting.

Was at Leapark last night for a wedding celebration for my daughter and her husband. Excellent evening. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Buffet was first class. Thank you Chris and everyone for all you did to make the night a great success.

Had a voucher for the restaurant so had a table booked. The wife and I were shown to our table and furnished with menus. We were pleased with the variety of choices and made our selections. I opted for the lentil broth soup and the wife had carrot and coriander soup to start. I asked for a prawn cocktail for a middle course and to follow a sirloin steak while the wife had Cajun chicken. We had been waiting considerable time for my prawn cocktail when the waitress came with my cocktail and the mains. My wife explained we asked for the prawn cocktail as a middle course and I could not eat my steak at the same time and it would go cold. The waitress said she would ask the chef if he would make a fresh steak. she came back and confirmed he would. I proceeded to eat my prawn cocktail and the manageress came over to apologize. She explained I would had a little time to wait on the fresh steak after I finish my prawn cocktail. Eventually it arrived. It was well presented and cooked to perfection. we decided against having sweets after our experience. We will not rush back.

Went for a family meal after receiving a recommendation and was extremely disappointed.

I spent 2 nights D.B.&B; at The Leapark Hotel, Grangemouth to celebrate my birthday.

Ate here one night in a 24 night stay in the area, wouldn’t recommend it. Had the chicken wings which were really sloppy, is that even possible! Not really got a good word to say about the place!

Good food at reasonable prices and a good selection of dishes. Nice surroundings with a good atmosphere. Great selection of gins and other spirits and varied selection of beers & ales.

Visited with a group for a Christmas lunch outing. The menu held the promise of a delicious meal but unfortunately the reality was very disappointing. Some of the courses bore scant resemblance to the description. A duo of melon, honeydew and galia with a fresh raspberry and cinnamon confit (strange choice of word - one usually associates confit with a process of preserving meat but hey ho). The reality was one type of melon only (honeydew) and a dollop of sickly raspberry jam! Worse was to come. The main course of buttery puff pastry, aged stilton, seasonal mushrooms and creamed leeks was nothing of the sort. A case of rock hard shortcrust with one type of mushroom in a creamy, runny sauce (see photo). A complete misrepresentatIon! The black forest sundae to finish was sickly sweet. Service was friendly. Shame about the food.

Attended a wedding reception here yesterday and can honestly say it was brilliant! We had various choices on the 3 course menu and the portions were like eating at home. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive and I would definitely recommend a visit!

Me & Partner has been at Leapark Hotel for our dinner on occassion. You always have big portions which is brilliant and staff are always freindly and u can ask anything and they will help.

It’s great that they have an Indian selection to the menu, the food was actually good, the service appalling. A Diet Coke was sent back to the bar as the gas and syrup were off, they returned with a can with no acknowledgement that there had been a problem. I have been sat without a drink for over 20 minutes, with no offer for it to be replenished despite a waiter collecting our finished starter plates and numerous waiters passing our table on several occasions. Still no offer at time of writing. If the restaurant had been busy then I would have understood. Disappointed.

Hubby and I checked into the Leapark Hotel on 10th August 2018 for one night as we were attending a nearby wedding. Check in was simple and painless and the receptionist was very pleasant and chatty. We were in room 25, on the second floor. The room was spacious and clean with a nice en suite bathroom. The decor is a bit dated but that’s really the only negative thing I could say. Beds were comfy and we had a good nights sleep. The breakfast the following morning was delicious and the staff were attentive and friendly. Would definitely return.

Been to this lovely hotel , few years ago , loved it then an still do , came with my boyfriend , who is now my husband , on our 1st anniversary, beautiful immaculate room , staff fantastic , even tho I ordered a meal , which wasn't the chefs fault , I didn't like , staff changed it for me , right away , at no extra cost , every member of staff have been very pleasant and helpful , will definitely be back sooner rather than later x

This hotel has a popular restaurant which is busy, good food and wine and situated in Grangemouth. I dined with a friend who lives nearby and enjoyed the service and the ambiance. It is very Scottish in decor and the staff are very friendly and helpful

I was on a business trip to Grangemouth and always try and stay at the Leapark Hotel which I have done for a number of years. There was no complaints about the Staff, Room or the service in the Restaurant and Lounge. all in all a very good and enjoyable visit to my favourite Hotel.

Food available most of the day and evening. The staff are pleasant, friendly and provide excellent service. Great place to eat

Food is really great in taste, value and portion size. The staff are friendly and courteous. How ever a bit slow in bringing the bill, but that is a minor detail.

A good place to go for an informal night out. Excellent choice and everything we tried was well cooked and delicious to eat.

Had gift voucher as Xmas present from Phil and Elaine. Son and daughter in law. Took grandson with me and husband. We all had 3 course. Very good portions. Very tasty. Will definitely go back. Service was very good. 10 out of 10

Excellent meals that were clearly not just pulled out of the freezer. If I had any criticism it would be that the portions were extremely large!

Starter and main course - bland. Philadelphia battered mushrooms with garlic mayo to start. Hmmm, could not taste the garlic, the batter/crumb was a good consistency, but no flavour or seasoning to it. For the main I went for the halloumi fingers in batter. This came with ridiculously oversized chips (they were crispy and fluffy on the inside, so points for that). As for the "fingers", more like big toes off a giant! The batter was a tad greasy and as we know halloumi can been salty. With this in mind there was nothing on the plate to balance this. As for the side salad, a few leaves thrown on the plate. A very poor showing indeed. Being vegetarian, sadly the options are always limited. Usually a boring mac & cheese or penne pasta. Why can chefs not be more creative? Is it a cost thing? I cook better at home. Sorry Leapark, but i will not be back.

Christmas Party night - Queen tribute. Artists and music were excellent. Good choice on menu for dinner. Overnight accommodation was very comfy and warm. Breakfast had varied choice and generous portions. Helpfull staff.

In Scotland for a few days visiting family. We always seem to gravitate to the Leapark, as usual the food was hot and delicious. Haggis fritters crispy and plentiful was our appetizer, and a mixed bag of entrees mine being the steak pie. Lovely and hot savoury beef moist pastry. Lovely. Other entrees included fish & chips, breaded fish, and pulled pork and chicken. Not a morsel was left on the plate.

Always have a lovely meal here, the staff are always friendly, lovely Chinese curry on offer, pity about the sticky toffee pudding (not authentic)

Visited with my husband for dinner food was lovely but service very slow waited 15 minutes for food order whilst waiting staff chatted ..not good enough

We had a nice family meal here last night the restaurant was busy. I had the haggis pakora to start which was lovely. I ordered the chicken mangalore as my main as it sounded delicious on the menu but didn't look as appealing on the plate a very dark brown sauce and it was a lot spicier than I expected so sadly the heat killed any flavour for me it was nice though and I suspect anyone who likes a curry with heat would enjoy it. My daughter had the pizza which was a really thick rectangular base topped with a pile of cheddar cheese she didn't like that but loved the chips she was disappointed at the lack of chicken options available for kids perhaps chicken nuggets would be a good addition to their menu. The staff were friendly and hard working. Their main menu is quite varied so I'll definitely go back to sample some other dishes.

Mi esposa y yo nos juntamos unos 14 amigos para una cena y nos lo pasamos muy bien. Había una buena variedad en el menú y la comida estaba bien presentada y muy sabroso. El personal de camarera era amable y muy cortés y no podía hacer lo suficiente para ayudar cuando es necesario. Reservamos de nuevo por otro.

Estuvimos aquí una noche durante la cena como un hotel de residentes. Era muy tranquilo, aparte de fútbol en la pantalla grande en el bar que nadie estaba viendo, unos lugareños bebiendo en el bar, y un puñado de gente comiendo en la extensa zona de bar/restaurante. Básicamente, una muy buena variedad de comida en el menú. Servicio muy, muy lento. Nos preguntamos si mi presencia era un inconveniente para el personal, que eran vagando en examinar su vida social huddles y sólo ocasionalmente hasta ver buscando si alguien agitar sus brazos como tratando de conseguir algo de atención. Que yo. Fue un poco doloroso. Personal no motivado y parecía desinteresado, pobre, y agregar a que un entorno ambiente y displicente, creo que inexistente sin duda llegaron en una noche realmente mala. No vamos a volver.

The Leapark is a fairly large place, there are function rooms on the left hand side, a recently refurbished bar in the middle and a restaurant/dining area on the right hand side.We had our prize giving in the restaurant which we had to ourselves.They had put a load of tables together but it was still a little bit tight for our group of 18, we had a five course meal with plenty of choice and judging by the empty plates around the table everyone enjoyed their meal.The service was a little slow particularly when ordering drinks but the great food,generous portions and reasonable price more than made up for that.

Very disappointed with the Hogmanay party this year. We have been going to the party night for 7 years and the entertainment was very poor this year. There was no band and the atmosphere just wasn't the same without it. Over the years there have been some great acts but lately the quantity and quality of the entertainment has gone downhill.On a positive note, the staff and food were great.

Have been going to the Leapark for years and have to say won't be back went on the 4th of December hall was empty about 70 people, entertainment was Madonna tribute she just stood singing and nothing else, then went again on the 16th of December had 18 people squeezed at a 14 maximum table, entertainment Tom Jones/Meatloaf well apparently they never turned up had some local lad singing and although he was a very good tom jones singer he just stood on one spot it was horrendous no apology given for the lack of the entertainment plus wine on the table on the 4th but not on the 16th and yet cost £20 more pp Leapark used to be the best xmas party nights out but after this year it could go down as on of the worst maybe should have kept some of the previous staff and decorations

Went as part of a work night out, two members of staff kept pestering us to order even though we were still waiting for the majority of the party to arrive. Continued to pace and hover around us with fowl looks. Starter- melon clearly wasnt ripe, was hard and tasteless.Mains- beef, gravy was horrid and clearly not glutenfree Pudding- couldnt have as nothing was gluten free.Absolutely horrid food.

We were on a special group booking. We were welcomed by very friendly staff and managers. The room was laid out magnificently and, with Xmas looming, the dining room tables decorated with hats, deer horns, poppers and many more very attractive xmas bits and pieces. The choices of food n each of the 3 courses were many. Starters served and everyone was enjoying their food. Then, empty really hot main course plates were delivered with the food of your choice following on right behind and silver service. The desserts were of good portion size as was all the courses. Drinks were available at the bar or by the waiting on staff. All the staff were enjoying their jobs and gave 100% excellent customer service. Well done to all the in front of house team.

Stayed for 2 nights.Positives were good internet, breakfast ok and evening food.Room was really dated, avoid room 18 shower is useless, dated Jacuzzi corner bath that didn't work and queer stain around toilet. Generally old fashioned all over.If you want modern, clean and working bathroom go to premier inn.I wouldn't stay here again.

We were out for a late family lunch. Long wait for food with 2 kids this was not ideal. We ordered from menu no extras or removals so not sure why the long wait. 1 - kids beans tasted funny. It may be the brand but....unhappy kids not good.2 - pate seemed stringy when putting it on to the oatcakes biscuits..I have never had thins before or know why it would be like that. My nephew was eating this and it made us worry about how fresh this was and what was in it. 3 - special lasagne @ £7.65 was small and very little meat or tomato sauce was so much cheese sauce...For the price this seemed rather stingy. The side salad was just leaves....no tomato, onion cucumber.. just leaves..4 - Roast Beef also 8 special @ £8.95 2 thin slices of beef 1 Yorkshire pudding and 4 small roast potatoes a small side of veg.5 - battered fish small. This portion was probably about what I was expecting but the crispy batter was not. It was clearly over done and no lemon with the fish.Overall not good for cost, especially having to buy extra drink due to long wait.

Went to the leapark with my wife and her mum for lunch, ordered our food and to be fair our starters came and were ok,(soups and pate),our main courses arrived, my wife had ordered the smoked haddock and bacon pie. When cutting into the pie she noticed something odd inside, after prodding further she found it to be similar to a piece of plastic wrapping, not good as an elderly person or a child could have choked on this if hadn't been noticed.on alerting the staff we were offered apologies and another choice of meal, the meal was declined. We were given two vouchers for buy one get one free but to be truthful can't see us using them. Very disappointed no one from kitchen staff came out.

Но местные одинокие мужчины заходят позавтракать с 06,30. Завтрак скромен. Обычный континентальный завтрак. К 8 утра могут появиться и разносолы.Вечерами живая музыка. Почти каждую пятницу-субботу - банкет. Люди приходят в костюмах и вечерних платьях. Но заведение открыто и для обычных посетителей.В баре большой выбор выпивки на все вкусы. Из блюд трудно что-либо выделить. Всё приготовлено хорошо, но без шика.Можно воспользоваться обширной парковкой при отеле.

Service????? Food????? Went for lunch today, waited 40 mins for mains to arrive, only to find that chef only has a microwave and a freezer. Cajun chicken had a frozen lump of butter straight from the freezer with lovely chips straight out the microwave(around 10 chips per portion). Service with a smile? not here. Drinks ordered when meal arrived only to be brought them after we'd finished. Did get a little insincere apology but not so much as a thank you or a smile when we paid. Needless to say my business associate was unimpressed, £23 out of pocket and no order placed.Overpriced microwave dinners AVOID !!!!!!!

I can't thank all the staff enough for the wonderful weekend my mum and dad and there good friends have just had i booked them in as a treat for their golden wedding anniversary and the staff have been fantastic really spoiled them and nothing was to much trouble dad has already said he will definitely be booking again I would highly recommend this hotel thank you again so much

Had a lovely meal out last night and complements to the chef Alex boa . We all enjoyed the ambience the food amazing

just had a lovely meal at the leapark, the food was delicious, had the philidelphia mushrooms,to start with, they were absolutely lovely and plentiful with 4 large mushrooms, then had the chicken madras curry with rice, (they forgot the poppadoms) but didn't spoil the meal, my husband had the 3 egg omelette and baked potato, both meals were good, service was a little slow, as we had asked for another round of drinks and ended up having going to the bar to get them, but it didn't spoil our night.

Stayed here for one night as part of a Edinburgh Tattoo package. I have to say everything was perfect. The evening meal and a super buffet breakfast with everything you could wish for.. Would highly recommend this hotel . The rooms and bathroom were spot on . The staff were helpful and very obliging. Many thanks . Jane Woods.

the menu in this place is good and varied would recommend it for a evening bar meal I liked the battered black pudding with sweet chilli dip for a starter and also fish an chips( very nice) and the lasagne was really good also the puddings were tempting

Terrific meal. If your party has a mix of tastes this could be the answer. The menu has something for everyone including a curry corner much to my delight. Both my dinner guest and I had amazing meals for the money. Being in a bar it's informal and quite busy so I would recommend pre booking your table. Great choice and value for money too. Definitely will be returning, soon.

We recently held is a celebration for our Golden Wedding in the Leapark Green Room. The meal was excellent and the staff wonderful. From the time we booked until the end the staff were so helpful and arranged everything for us. Would certainly recommend the Leapark for a special occasion

Good value food and generous portions. Parking right outside the hotel. Highly recommend it. Waitress service was very good and the menu has loads of choices.

We are just round the corner from the lepark so do not need the car, have been 4 times never been disappointed and have had 4 different meals. SUPERB !

Popped in for a meal on the bank holiday and everything was really nice. It;s fair to say that the waiting staff aren't overly friendly, and are a little surly. However, the food we had was really tasty and good quality. The menu options are fairly traditional and the presentation is a little plain, but I wouldn't say this is a place to come for something fancy or a special meal. It is, though, a nice place to come for a meal if you can't be bothered cooking.

I live fairly local to this hotel and had never been for dinner. On arrival it looked nice and the waitresses seated us quickly.The menu didn't really have that much that I liked so we ate of the specials board. Starters were served quickly but very boring looking but I supposed you cant do much with pate and prawns. Main course was roast beef which was ok.Been there tried it but not really for us.

Attended here to celebrate a special occasion with family. Food was good, very small portions however which is my main criticism. I don't mind paying a good amount for a steak but what arrived was definitely not worth the price. Very enjoyed the food and capped off a good day. Will return. Food not really worth the price but worth a visit

Really enjoyed our meal here. Staff were very polite and attentive and provided my daughter with paper and crayons. Prices were good. Couldn't complain about anything and will definitely visit again.

Went to the leapark restaurant for a cheap and cheerful lunch with the family on my day off. First walked through the door and met by a female server who's attitude stank not a bit of manners also no knowledge of what on offer. Then move on to the meal food was sub par for the price bracket would have been better going to the hospital better quality food served there. All in all would not recommend.

As the title says - spent a lovely meal with my mum and kids at the Lea Park. There was a choice of full 3 courses, but we just had a main (plenty to choose from) as we wanted to leave room for the wonderful cakes. These was all freshly made on site and regularly replenished & tasted amazing. Huge sizes! So probably tried less than would've liked to - but that's maybe not a bad thing.

Went with colleagues from work for a Xmas party and must admit I didn't think it would as good as it was , from start to finish the meal , guests , I will definitely be booking the leapark for Xmas 2016

Looked lovely from the outside.Room was a good size,radiators werent warm bathroom was freezing,the floor needed replacing,the hot water wasnt.There was a false nail on the floor at the side of the bed, the runner and cushions on the bed were stained the bedding was ripped.The food in the resturant was frozen food.The young girl on reception was pleasent, our waitress(racheal )was lovely

We stayed as a couple with friends for one night to attend a retirement party nearby. Our room was lovely, bathroom equipped with a jacuzzi bath, large shower and jack and Jill washbasins. The reception and bar staff were very friendly warm and helpful. Breakfast was very good, the Leapark grill (breakfast) particularly good. Really enjoyed the short stay.

A really nice lunch. Food was excellent with friendly efficient waitress service.Table was beautifully decorated. Really good value.

Not been here for a while and was not impressed with service. Three people working and the place not busy and the service was poor. The waitresses were not attentive and we had to go to the bar to request drinks and the bill, surely when there is 3 serving and not a lot in they can look after the customers. The food was good and worth the money.

We had three courses, all of which were excellent, big portions cooked to perfection and dessert was delicious.

The DJ was trying to get many people up to dance but unfortunately was not overly successful which was a shame. He did try a variety of modern and classic dance floor tunes, therefore I cannot fault him for trying.The decor of the tables was very fitting for the occasion and there was table service available as well as at the bar for drinks all night. The staff were excellentThe buffet was also very good - Pizza, Sausage rolls, wide selection of sandwiches, samosas, onion bhajis, crisps and dip.Carriages were at 12pm.

We were staying in the hotel, and after a long day's of driving,We Decided To Just have dinner in the hotel. There wasA choice ofThe restaurant which looked really good - £11 per person forA 3 course Meal. But the kid wanted steak pie And so we ended upIn the hotel's pub/ bar. Good food. Quick service and clean. Will Recommend.

Fantastic rooms, good food free carparking & easy access to attractions what more could you want. The staff were knowlegeable & friendly.

We held a buffet for a Christening on Sunday afternoon. Staff were friendly, helpful and caring. Buffet was plentiful and very tasty . very happy with afternoon. Room was bright and very spacious for our needs and for the children present.Very reasonably priced.

Have visited Leapark on many occasions over the years ...This is first time since new owners have taken over..What a transformation .function room light and airy fab decoration...Food was delicious.. Staff are helpful and pleasant. ..Always guaranteed a great party night at Leapark... now looking to book Xmas night out...Well worth a visit and really great value for money ...

We stayed on Friday 18th sep 2015 as we were attending my good friends wedding I actually had one of the 6 rooms put aside for wedding guests and paid £80 When most of my friends paid a fraction of the price through booking.com. I was devastated on entering the box room we were given and it was so outdated and very small. The Bathroom again was very small outdated worn and if I'm honest not very clean now if it was a gust house or something it wouldn't have bothered me but £80 for an outdated shoe boxing not happy then to top it all of all of my friends who were also staying had rooms that were stunning very modern jacuzzi baths showers that worked and again they paid a fraction of the price we did it's just not right only another 1 couple had an issue about there room as it was like a dormitory but still not as expensive.Will we be back I severely doubt it.

My husband and I took our 6 year old and 2 year old sons here recently and we all had a good meal. The service let the place down, though I must say I have had worse service - it wasn't bad as such, just I would have expected more.My husband and I ordered a started, and I had asked for garlic bread to come with this so that our sons also had something to eat. The Staff did bring this, however they also brought out the kids mains alongside the starters without asking if we wanted this - this later turned into a disaster as we couldn't eat our main in peace. We had to ask twice for ketchup, and we had also ordered curries with half rice and half chips which didn't happen. When I asked for the chips we were given one portion and then to another would be brought out which it wasn't.I wouldn't say I would never go back as the food was good and I usually have a good meal, but I won't be rushing back

I have been here many times and always have a good meal we all had different meals and everyone had a lovely meal from steaks to salads we all thought it was value for money and portion sizes were really good.

We had a late lunch in the Leapark last week. We didn't have a very good start as the drinks order was wrong. The food was definetly pub grub. Nice enough but not exceptional. It was fairly priced for the food we had. Would go back but wouldn't rush back. Nicely decorated.

We have been eating at this hotel for many years, but have to say over the past year, the food has gotten better and better. We have tried a few samples from the forthcoming new menu, which I know will be a hit when it is launched imminently. Well done to Gary and his team

Had lunch with my wife, two daughters and young granddaughter.The bar dining area was clean and comfortable, and the decor was pleasing to the eye.Lunch menu was extensive with reasonsable prices. The food itself was well prepared and tasty, although the service was a little slow and the waitress forgot one order!

A good substantial menu with large portions. I've been for work related events and have found the food always to be good and enjoyed by everyone. The service is also as expected. Usually always space for a drop in lunch.

I've been here a couple of times for work conferences. Most recently this week. The function room was a nice size and the catering was great with lovely scones on arrival and a fab three course lunch with lots to choose from. The two ladies working were very pleasant.

Last stayed at the Leapark in Nov 2013 and had one of the most awful meals and service I had ever had in a restaurant. Dining was a much better experience along with the service. The rooms are pleasantly decorated however somewhat noisy on friday and saturdays, this to be expected. The one disapointing aspect was the TV. In this day and age all "old style" 16" Tvs need skipping and replaced with at least a 32" flatscreen. Even the Oxgang round the corner which was a fraction of the price of the Leapark had a 42" Sony on the wall. Cmon management your on the right track dont be tight!
