Dawn catered a Brighouse BID event I went to this week and the lunch spread was lovely. Really fresh teacakes, generous fillings and pork pies with the crispest pastry 🤌🏼. Will be using them for meeting room bookings at our &WURK offices. Thank you!

Apparently the lovely traditional small pork pies they sell are now labelled 'Artisan' who knew? Warrants a 50p rise for the privilege 🤣

Stop handling product with dirty hands, one girl was scratching her behind then picked a pie up for customer with same hand!

Turkey, stuff and cranberry sauce so nice packed with loads. The warm meat and potato pie's beautiful , beef and pickled onion love this shop dive from Huddersfield just to have quality food Better than Merry England

Pork pies awesome and other pies are nice But something has changed with the cooked meats It doesnt taste the same The beef is tasteless and looks boiled to me, not roasted And the pork omg so salty you cant taste the pork

I have been a customer of le gourmet for a number of years but not sure for how much longer, the staff are fantastic always really helpful and polite however since going under new ownership the quality of products has deteriorated, plastic pork that tastes of nothing but salt, plastic beef that is awful, where's the ginger biscuits, also used to have home made Manchester tarts and vanilla slices ? 5 stars for all the staff 1 star for produce.

Absolutely terrible shop, couldn't get an order right to save their life. Put in a simple order to be given the wrong items when I live over 5 miles away, I was also not given my change only 20p but also shouldn't be expected to be kept, highly recommend to stay away! Staff and stock are both as rubbish as the other, thanks.

Sandwiches and meat is quality staff really friendly too clean shop too

Went with 3 friends A lovely way to spend Sunday afternoon

The sandwiches are superb and are very good value and the pies are delicious. Lovely deli counter and the chicken kebabs are so tasty. The homemade cakes are always brilliant and the staff are friendly too. This place is an absolute gem and Brighouse is lucky to have it.

Just had a beef and onion T/Cake and a beef and kidney pie gorgeous

Called for a sarnie for lunch, was not disappointed beef salad £2.70. Choice of brown or white t cake nice serving of fresh salad and loads of beef... fabulous value. Friend also had sarnie with a pork pie which he commented was great ...he even bought some proper pork scratching ! Staff are friendly and helpful and shop was clean and tidy.

Have purchased pies, sections of quiches and other deli products on several occasions. The pork pies are exceptionally tasty, full of meat in a crispy pastry crust. On the latest visit we bought 4 of their traditional pork pies and one of their large pies. We also bought 4 sausage rolls and were amazed to find that when getting home we were sold one where the pastry had been split completely away from the sausage meat when baked and should never been sold to us or anyone else. Best to check what they put into a bag before you leave the shop. Profit appears to be more important than customer satisfaction here.
