Nice space, but very average/weak food for something expensive with the name Robuchon on the door (scrambled eggs were hard and crusty; bacon was half-cooked), and a really odd service model meaning crazy and confusing queues and people constantly shouting as food arrived rather than bringing it to the table

Decent food for rather high end prices, but it takes ages for anything to be prepared despite an empty restaurant and you have to wait around different counters to get food. If you are seemingly fancy and charge the prices for it, making you wait 10 minutes for a croissant is not great

Excellent pastry shop, very renowned and very crowded so the spaces, although quite large, are a bit narrow due to the numerous people enjoying their delicacies. I absolutely wanted to try the Pistachio Cube Croissant, which is WONDERFUL to look at, inside it is filled with a delicious pistachio cream and the brioche dough is particular, in fact it wasn't too sweet in my mouth at all. The prices are quite high, but I can understand the quality of the products and the place where it is located (very close to Buckingham Palace). I recommend it especially if you want to make a good impression on a date as the atmosphere is very nice and satisfying.

I recently visited this bakery, eager to try their famous cube croissant. Unfortunately, it had already sold out by the time I arrived. While I was a bit disappointed, the staff’s exceptional service quickly turned things around. They were incredibly courteous, apologizing for the shortage and suggesting other delicious options. They even offered us free croissants which were fresh, delicious, and beautifully made. Despite missing out on the cube croissant this time, the warm and welcoming service has definitely earned my return visit. I can’t wait to come back and hopefully snag that elusive cube croissant!

If you are looking for a quality dine in bakery in Piccadilly or even to take away, I would highly recommend them. It doesn't look like much from the outside on a busy rd, but don't let that fool you. Yes, it's very expensive, especially if you don't live or work in the local area but in my opinion it's definitely worth it! It does get busy, and you will likely queue for a short while. Very polite staff. I personally ordered some pastry to take away. The cubes are one of my favourites, they are very light, not yo sweet at all. Ideal for lunch or to take a treat away with you.

Famous for the cube croissant, Le Deli Robuchon is a bit of a treat as the prices are more than you would normally pay in London for pastries. I had been wanting to try this cafe since I had gone a couple of times to the Robuchon restaurant many years ago when it was in Covent Garden. I'm glad I did finally make it here. The chocolate cube croissant was just the right size, not too sweet and not too rich. I also had a cheese twist (I forget the fancy name they have for it), but probably wouldn't buy that again. It was at the end of the day, so it may just be that it is better earlier on. The croissant I had early afternoon. The chouquettes (sugar topped pastries) were absolutely delicious and I would buy more if I was in the area. They come in a packet, which makes a great gift. I had them a couple of days later. The toilet was clean. The interior of the restaurant looked spacious, though on a warm day, it didn't seem that appealing. Perhaps on a cold day it might feel cosy. There is an outdoor area, but it is on the main street, so I'd recommend heading across the road to the park (weather permitting).

Robuchon was highly recommended, so we went and tried it. The cube's were pretty good, The building and decor inside is beautiful. However there is only one toilet on the premises and a queue of people are often waiting to go in. The drinks are average, I ordered an iced mocha, and although the taste was passable, it was given to me in a paper cup. We ordered eat in so why wouldn't you give me a nice cold glass to drink from? And finally the service, or the lack of it. I don't know his name, but who ever was serving at 2pm 17th of may, the older chap, he was rude and cold. Not welcoming or with any enthusiasm at all, for the price of the average food here we were expecting a 1st class service however was disappointed. Lastly, when my partner came here on a previous visit, she was wearing her NHS scrubs right from work and in need of some uplifting drinks, however was completely ignored when trying to make an order, instead having to ask verbally to be served by the manager instead. High quality cakes and food but not family friendly. Cakes, sandwiches, pastries, patisseries, salads, etc etc, the best that France has to offer. Sadly whoever designed this place did not have young families in mind. Steps to get into the restaurant which is a bog inconvenience for pushchairs and prams. No baby changing facilities even though the unisex bathroom is spacious enough to fit a changing table. It is like they have done everything they could to not welcome parents with babies. I had high hopes for my visit given a review of the menu which looked broad and attractive, however it turned out to be sub-par in several areas. It's a confusing combination of sit-in and take-away, and if you sit in you can only order at the counter, meaning that you either have to leave your dining companion or your bags (not advised in London) while you order, or run the risk of ordering your food and there not being a table free. There are several counters, and it's not clear which counter you go to if you want a different / multiple types of food, as I did. The payment counter is awkwardly positioned for both balancing trays and also for the servers to see who has bought what, and I saw several mistakes being made. There were insufficient glasses available so I had to drink out of the bottle and the self-service element of the drinks is open to abuse. The food itself was average - my melanzane was ok but small and expensive, and my guest's chicken baguette too hard for her to eat. Not ideal.

What you do get is first class grub - the hot lunch boxes are a wonderful takeaway lunch option, and you can also eat in if you can get a seat. The girl on the till appeared too busy on her mobile or whatever she was doing behind the counter, despite there was no other people on the queue and the very few customers, so I wasnt even acknowledged being on front of her .... Seriously, it's massively disappointing to witness such an attitude in Robuchon places - talking nicely just to be ignored... Teach them people what core values are, as a Chef thought I'd rather visit that place because of the quality, but that's no longer valid. Opposite Pret is having better customer service as the plain Turkish restaurants do - shame to the recruitment and management team. Hope that rude attitude is not systematic.

The food is lovely, the croissants in particular but the paying and then delivery of your food needs some work. You pay for it then wait for the other side of the counter to call out your order, with lots of other people also waiting for the same thing you are left waiting for ages! That needs to be addressed for a better experience but the service is so poor, nobody looks like they want to be there and I understand that hospitality can be tough but also.. you haven’t got to be there do you. One female server in particular is so awful and rude she should be spoken to! Not only was she leaning over us whilst we’re eating and then asking us to pass her other diners plates she then attempted to confront me at the bathroom whilst I took my 4 year old to the loo. Will not be returning and as the cube croissant trend is everywhere now I’d suggest spending your money else where. Hugely disappointing

During a recent visit to Le Deli Robouchon in Mayfair for tea, my experience took an unfortunate turn that left me feeling violated and disappointed. I feel compelled to share my story as a cautionary tale to others. While enjoying our tea at a table, a woman wearing a hijab and a mask approached us and engaged in a deceitful act of theft. She attempted a bait and switch tactic, distracting us while she made an attempt to touch our food and swiftly grabbed my phone. It was a shocking and distressing moment that left me feeling violated and deeply concerned about the safety of my belongings. I immediately informed the staff about the incident, hoping for their assistance and support. However, their response was disheartening. They informed me that the same woman had been seen in the establishment the week before, suggesting that they were aware of her presence but had not taken any proactive measures to address the situation. This lack of action and concern from the staff only added to my disappointment. In an effort to seek resolution and express my concerns, I sent an email to the company detailing the incident. Unfortunately, I never received a response, which further compounded my frustration and left me feeling unheard. I implore anyone planning to visit Le Deli Robouchon in Mayfair to exercise extreme caution, especially if you have valuable jewelry or phones on the table. It is disheartening to have to issue such a warning, but my experience serves as a reminder that even in seemingly safe and reputable establishments, incidents like these can occur. It is my sincere hope that Le Deli Robouchon takes this incident seriously and implements measures to ensure the safety and security of its patrons. In the meantime, I urge everyone to remain vigilant and take extra precautions to safeguard their belongings while dining out. Sent from my iPhone

Overall: ★★★☆☆ A strong name in the hospitality sector so I had high expectations especially for the cube croissants and coffee. The decor is great, the layout good and ambience buzzing yet relaxing. This spot attracts a fair number of tourists being in the heart of Green Park, Mayfair. Unfortunately the cube croissants were nothing special and the coffee disappointingly bitter and unpleasant. I would have given it two stars but the ambience and set up merited more despite the disappointment of the coffee and pastries. Food: Breakfast and brunch deli with a wall of wine for sale by the bottle. What I liked: • The decor • Pleasant service • Good, varied selection of food • Slightly above average price point but not unreasonable considering the location What I didn’t like: • Terrible coffee (the litmus test being an Americano not disguised with milk or sugar) • The croissants were very ordinary Do I recommend going? NO Will I go again? NO Was it good value? YES Price Point: $$

The service was good the coffees were very good. The cake selections were fantastic. We had chocolate and vanilla cube croissants which were delicious. We also had a decaf cappuccino with oat milk and latte. I had a second latte and lemon drizzle cake which was also delicious. They are also dog friendly. We also got talking to a lovely couple which made the experience even better. We are definitely going back and will also try the restaurant.

I ordered a cake for click-and-collect and it was a great experience. There were tables outside and whilst there was a queue, it went through really quickly. The process to collect the cake was very easy and furthermore it was delicious - thanks to the Paul team at Tower 42

Delicious salad in a beautifully rustic café. Plus, the self-serve nut butters on every table are lush.
