Nous avons été très surpris de ce restaurant ! Tout était très bon, vraiment excellent on s’est tous régalé, nous avons passé un moment convivial malgré l’influence ! Nous avons été prit en charge rapidement. Tout comme le service, en 5min nous avons été servis. Le personnel était agréable et souriant. Pour l’extérieur si vous venez avec une météo fraîche, il y a des chauffage et des plaids c’est très chaleureux. Pour ce qui est de l’intérieur un peu bruyant certes mais ça reste très authentique à la culture Libanaise c’est très jolie ! COMPTOIR LIBANAIS a été un de nos coups de coeur durant notre séjour à Londres, on en reparle déjà ! :)

My wife and I had just been to the Royal Albert Hall to see David Gilmour . We were walking past when she asked to look at the gorgeous decor of the inside, beautiful lights and magical colours of the walls. The staff were closing for the evening. WE LOOKED DOWN AND SAW RATS ALL OVER THE FLOOR FROM THE WINDOW!!! WE WERE HORRIFIED. IF THATS IN FRONT WHAT IS BEHIND. ? Sorry no photos, they were too quick and it was through the glass.

2nd time here. Food is lovely, fresh and at a reasonable price for the area. Waiter was very helpful to me being gluten intolerant. We'll be back!

The manager was a lovely start from the staff side of things but it went down hill from there the other members of staff wasn’t too helpful and the food also wasn’t the best did expect alot better

We went to the Duke of York Square branch. Sat outside. Vinyl menus were sticky. Should have left. Food arrived in chipped mismatched plates and bowls. Taste was off for Lebanese food. Chicken tough. Not enjoyable. Did not realize this was a chain. Would not return.

The food was tasty, I had the salad and others had the chicken. However, the portions are tiny! In the whole "chicken salad" there must have been 4 small pieces of chicken.

Bel locale su Exibition Road, cucina tipica libanese. Ambiente molto curato e arredato con fantasia, personale abbastanza gentile, cibo piuttosto speziato ma abbastanza gustoso. Prezzi un po’ alti ma nella media del luogo.

Love this place for a lovely Lebanese lunch . It’s bright vibrant and serves very authentic Lebanese delights . The taboule is terrific and the falafel fabulous . Very cool cafe for lunch drinks or dinner

Was a busy midweek evening, was shown to a table inside quickly but took 10 mins for our order to be taken. Drinks arrived quickly but sadly the food had not arrived 40 mins later. As we were going to a show I asked where our food was and that it seemed that the row of 5 deliveroo type orders on the counter were being serviced before the customers inside the restaurant. The member of staff went and informed someone and I asked another member of staff another 5 mins later the same question. We were informed food would come in 10 mins. Having lost confidence, we decided to cancel our order. I offered to pay for the drinks but cancel the food. Apologies given but seems it would have been quicker to order via deliveroo to the table, money was still taken for the drinks. Team Manager seemed overwhelmed and struggling to supply deliveroo customers (lateness incurs a fine) whilst trying to service in restaurant customers at the same time. Maybe we went at just the wrong time but won’t be rushing back.

Arrived at a fairly busy time and we were seated quickly. Funky restaurant with interesting decoration. Definitely appeared to offer something other places don't. The space was a bit tight and we really had to squeeze in because the tables were all too close together but never mind. Waiter was so terrible, couldn't hear a word he was saying, was really unresponsive and unenthusiastic. Two members of our table had ordered the same meal, but one had added halloumi, the meal with the extra was given to the wrong person as she had been informed it was the normal dish, the other person then queried where her halloumi was, the waiter said 'she's got it' and pointed down at the other person. No offer to simply just add it onto the plate as the person who got the meal with the halloumi had already started eating it. Waiter was not helpful at all. My friend had to ask for it to be added to her plate and suggested that if we had to be charged for both then that was fine, at which the waiter grabbed the plate from the table and left without another word. He came back with the halloumi added but still in a huff and puff about it. Food was fairly good. Reasonably priced for the location I think. Unfortunately, we saw a mouse scatter across the floor half way through our meal. At this point we stopped eating and decided to pay and leave. We did report this to the manager who seemed shocked and said she would look into it. Not sure if I believe it was the first time though...

This was my first time at this restaurant chain and we went to the London Bridge branch. The restaurant itself was very nice, although the menu is a little limited. It's a Lebanese themed chain, so not really an authentic Lebanese restaurant. We knew that at the outset, so I wouldn't be too judgemental about that. We just had mixed dips for starters, two of us had lamb tagine with prunes and couscous, one had chicken moussakhan and the other lamb kofte fateh. The dips were ok - although there was the tiniest amount of pitta to go with it and we had to ask for more. The fateh and mousakahn were fairly good but the lamb tagine was really disappointing. It was quite dry with almost none of the juice it was cooked in on the plate, not helped by the rather small portion being bulked out with too much couscous. It also had to have been microwaved as parts of it were piping hot, while others, like the chunks of vegetables in it, were just about lukewarm. I wouldn't say this is a bad place to eat, ...we might have been a bit unlucky with the tagine... it's a pleasant environment and it's reasonably priced, but if you want genuine Lebanese food, try somewhere less 'themed'.

Great food, great atmosphere, no doubts about that. 5 points.Unfortunately, we (8 people) received plates after we had the finger food on the table and glasses for water at least 20min. after we started eating. Nevertheless the wine glasses came before ;-) For me, the food could be delivered a bit slower but have the tables ready to eat for the customers.

Wij waren voor het eerst in een restaurant van deze keten. Er stonden mensen te wachten, dat is meestal een goed teken en dat klopte inderdaad. De kaart biedt behoorlijk wat keuze. Het eten werd zeer snel geserveerd en was smakelijk! Goede prijs / kwaliteit verhouding.

Unpretentious authentic Lebanese. Delivered hot plate to table by friendly staff. Decorations using bright detailed bags and bottled preserves was great and added to a surprising cheerful meal.

De acuerdo con Crysse. Estábamos buscando un lugar para comer, preferiblemente afuera, en el cálido día de primavera después de visitar el Museo de Historia Natural que se encuentra cerca. A pesar de que la zona estaba llena de gente ocupada 13. El pico de la hora del almuerzo de 00, con varios otros restaurantes que también ofrecen asientos al aire libre, encontramos una mesa para 3 en un par de minutos. El servicio fue rápido y amigable. Teníamos cordero / pollo koftas / una envoltura de kofta, regados con vino tinto de la casa. Terminamos con un plato de baklava y cafés / té. Todo servido con prontitud, y muy agradable. Comida decente a un precio razonable, en una parte vibrante de Londres, servida en un momento del día muy ocupado.

Un día soleado, y la calle South Kensington, afuera de este restaurante libanés, estaba llena de mesas repletas de platos de excelente apariencia y comensales de aspecto alegre. Tuvimos la suerte de tomar una mesa para dos, ya que se convirtió en gratis y quedamos encantados con el servicio rápido y la excelente comida. Tuvimos el mezze y una copa de vino cada uno, y nos pareció un valor razonable, especialmente por el ambiente, definitivamente volvería si visitara los museos en esta área.

Para que gosta de árabe essa é uma boa pedida ! Para começar, pedi os pãezinhos árabes com um combinado de entradas frias, sendo Hommus, baba ghanuj - um tahine com molho cítrico s e natural lambné - uma espécie de molho de yorgut. Delicioso! Sem principal fomos nos grelhados - A kafta de cordeiro acompanhada de arroz árabe e salada e o frango grelhado ambos ricos em sabor. Super recomendo!!! Fui bem atendida , a quantidade de garçons era adequada e todos bem rápidos. Gastamos 50 libras o casal.

We never tried libanais kitchen before but we have to say it is delicious, tasty👍The crew is friendly.

I travelled to London alone and stayed nearby. I walked around to have dinner and I wanted somewhere relaxed and casual. I love Lebanese food, so I decided to try this place. There was a very buzzy atmosphere, with people having fun enjoying the food. I didn't mind sitting by myself. The food was very nice and reasonably priced. I loved the drink, a freshly prepared lemonade with mint. I ordered a sort of pastry filled with spinach and topped with feta. Very nice and satisfying.

Situé sur la petite place, ce « restaurant » s’apparente plus à un petit bistrot faisant de la street food. Loin d’être mauvais vous pouvez manger une assiette de mezzés à l’intérieur ou à l’extérieur. Déco trop chargée à l’intérieur et trop kitch à mon goût, collection de tarbouches et autres sacs alourdissent la déco et lui donnant un air old school qui n’existe même plus à Beyrouth. Même si vous allez y retrouver les saveurs libanaises, les amoureux de la cuisine libanaise resteront sur leur faim. 4 étoiles pour vous encourager !

On our way to Golden Union fish and chips, we debated on whether to eat at Comptoir or not. The place had really nice reviews, looked clean and fun. "But, we must have Fish and Chips!" We all agreed that we had to have fish and chips. Golden Union wasn't open, it was supposed to open at 11:30, and it was 11:32... So, NVM Fish and Chips. This was a super ultra extremely good choice over fried food. Clean flavors, a wonderful atmosphere, and extremely friendly staff. I will go back every single time I'm in London. Lovely~!

Mala calidad en la comida, mala atención del personal y muy mala relación calidad-precio, no lo recomiendo.

After a great visit to the natural history museum (highly recommended), we stopped in for lunch. We had a really nice middle eastern lunch at one of the tables outside ( fun people watching). The food and the service were wonderful and we were on our way to more sightseeing in no time. We would highly recommend Comptoir Libanais. Cheers!!!

I arrived alone by this lovely sunny Sunday and I wouldn't expect their timing would be respected as they were very busy. I asked to be sited outside, they find me a spot asap. The waitress was cleaning the table next to me and she made a quick eye contact with a smile :) She took my order. That was my first experience at Le comptoire libanais. My drink then my food arrived in good time. Also, my food was served in a traditionnal brown ceramic plate for the authenticity. the food itself was surprisingly delicious. I wasn't bothered to leave and let other people the seat.

On a déjeuné au comptoir libanais en prenant en take away. Très bon. Parfumé comme on aime. Tout ce qu'on a pris était très bon.

Everything about this place is amazing. The kind and very attentive staff, amazing food all round with so many flavours and so authentic, prices fair and wonderful creative decor! Would 1000000% be coming back!

Given its location at the south end of Exhibition Road and thus adjacent to the V and A and other museums, it is usually busy and at around 2pm on a sunny weekday there was a short queue for one of the many pavement tables but the Squeeze and I didn’t have to wait for an inside table for two. After a visit to the Mary Quant exhibition at the V and A we needed a light lunch and a resting of the feet.

Dropped in for a quick dinner before going to the Albert Hall, and initial impressions were favourable; bright, busy, cheery, giving the impression of informal industry and rapid turnover; perfect for a quick informal bite and away. Or so we thought.

On a Friday night the restaurant was rammed. However, the service was fast and the food was great. The décor is colourful and eclectic; there are even handmade Lebanese items for sale.

Ambience was bright and fantastic. Clearly they invested a lot of time in the decor to make it look inviting. The service was extremely fast however the quality of the food was only average although we appreciated that everything was piping hot by the time it reached us.

This is one of my favourite restaurant chains. I always find the food delicious. In this occasion I had the marinated jawaneh (chicken wings) £5.75, batata harra (spiced potatoes) £3.95 and iced fresh rose mint tea £3.75. My mum had the mezze platter for one £9.95 and fresh rose mint tea £2.45.

Abbiamo cenato in questo posto ad un orario in cui molti altri locali vicini chiudevano (7.30) , cosa che ho molto apprezzato. Il locale è carino, il cibo è stato servito tutto sommato velocemente, i prezzi erano adeguati e il menu vario. Consiglio la cheese cake al mango deliziosa!

Set in "the circle" of a business district this is a tasty establishment food and decor wise. Quieter on Saturdays. Friendly staff clean hygienic open kitchen and interesting surroundings. Would definitely be back.

Stopped in for breakfast a few days ago. The food was delicious and excellent coffee. Staff member who served us was very friendly and explained the dishes for us. 100% recommend.

Really tasty meal for a good price. Only negative was that the staff were nearly impossible to catch the attention of.

Nos sorprendió lo rápido que nos sentaron un sábado a medio día, nos dijeron 15 minutos de espera y fueron 5. Local exótico. Comida buena, bien preparada y sabrosa. Personal muy atento y amable. Para los niños traen una carta con entretenimiento y colores para pintar (el menú infantil, comida libanesa rica, limonada casera y postre helado de vainilla de calidad. Por 5,90 libras nos pareció barato. El precio de la comida no es caro para la zona en la que está. No dejar propina porque en la cuenta ya te cobran el 12,50% (que no pusimos ninguna pega ya que nos trataron de lujo!).

Just happened to grab a table on a Saturday evening, even though this place was rammed! We were made welcome very quickly and a space was found for us with out a lot of fuss. After a few nibbles of 'pickles and olives' a glass of authentic red wine from the region, we had a range of dishes that were well presented, colourful and had a exotic blend of flavours. Service was friendly and helpful, pretty prompt as well. Overall during our stay the atmosphere and the turnaround of the tables and customers was impressive. Hope to be back again when in town.

Here to eat something smart we tried the starte plate (to share) and the wrap and the koftas lamb burger all the food was good, very good as the drink, the frozen lemonade.

Authentic tasting food and good value. The atmosphere was lacking though. The service was quick and courteous.

Sorry but I always like to give credit where it’s due but this place fell short . I must have been fortunate to have eaten some amazing Lebanese before because to me the food was so average and I cannot see why anyone thinks the food is great here.

Dès l'entrée, on sent les parfums des épices, la viandes grillées ainsi qu'une surexcitation dans le restaurant entre l'agitation des employées et le boucan des clients. La carte est remplie de plats typiques à des prix raisonnables. Le service est efficace, agréable et professionnel au vu du stress du coup de feu de midi.

Unser Hotel war um die Ecke, daher sind wir mehrmals an dem Laden vorbei gegangen. War immer super voll, teilweise Warteschlange vor der Tür. Wir sind dann eher spät eingekehrt und haben dann direkt einen Tisch bekommen. Nette Ausstattung und große Karte. Preise moderat, allerdings sind wir mit einem Hauptgericht nicht wirklich satt geworden. Qualität gut, freundlicher Service. Ich würde 3 1/2 Punkte geben.

I love it here, have eaten here maybe 1-2 times every month. Authentic and just lovely food every time. Occasionally can take a little longer for your food to come but it’s always worth the wait. Delicious wish they had a little more fish food

We were given a warm friendly welcome. Good choice of food all sorts of meat, vegetarian and vegan options. Nice choice of hot and cold drinks. Within five minutes of being there we completely forgot we were in the middle of London felt properly relaxed and had a holiday vibe.

My friend and I dined here for lunch. We decided to order a number of mezzés alongside a salad to share between us. There was a lot to choose from on the menu, being gluten-free, I was really glad to see a wide selection of GF options. The food was really delicious and we also thoroughly enjoyed the fun eclectic decor.

Après une visite au musée des sciences naturelles, la faim se faisait sentir. Nous sommes passés devant une terrasse très colorée et fréquentée qui nous a donné envie de nous arrêter. Nous n'avions pas compris que c'était une chaine de fast food libanais. On nous a installés à l'intérieur dans le couloir d'entrée.... la porte étant toujours ouverte, nous avons eu froid. Evitez donc les tables de la première rangée intérieure. La décoration est kitsch mais vraiment harmonieuse; j'ai adoré! La carte est très variée et longue; n'hésitez pas à vous faire aider si vous ne savez pas quoi choisir. Nous avons opté pour un mezze, une salade de falafels et des keftas d'agneau. L'endroit propose un menu enfant à un prix démocratique; il comprend un plat, une boisson et un dessert. Le mezze est très bon, les falafels un peu sècs et la salade n'est malheureusement pas accompagnée d'une sauce pour agrémenter le tout ; les keftas quant à elles ont un goût de menthe et de cannelle (absolument délicieuses). Nous avons bu un jus de rose, surprenant et très sucré. Vous pouvez demander de l'eau sans qu'elle ne soit facturée. Le service est correct mais n'est pas très cordial. Les prix sont abordables. Je recommande parce que le lieu est très atypique et la nourriture est bonne. A tenter si vous êtes dans le coin.

おそらくレストランと呼ぶのでしょうけれど、カフェで食事ができるような気軽さがあります。サウスケンジントンのお店は隣のテーブルとの間隔が狭くて、あまり落ち着きません。スローンスクエアのお店の方がゆっくりできるでしょう。

This was a lovely little find. The staff were friendly and helpful. The ingredients all round were fresh and tasty especially the mint and citrus in the drinks. The lamb fattet was really delicious and the tagine was lovely and tasty as well. The mezze was lovely and the baklava was the best I've had.

Oltre ad assaggiare alcuni piatti discretamente preparati di cucina medio orientale puoi concederti ad un veloce shopping di materie prime e manufatti per possedere a casa il medesimo sapore. Piacevole per un pranzo veloce di tanto in tanto.

We’ve been to Duke of York CL before, and expected no less in South Ken post museum visit. Wraps are amazing (lamb kofta!) and falafel is just great. Highly recommended, despite being on a pricey side

Had lunch on Saturday and the restaurant was very cold, some people kept their coats on and left as soon as they had finished eating. The food was ok but nothing special, considering the price and the quantity given. My main aubergine fatteh was very greasy and I couldn't digest it well. Service was efficient. If you fancy Lebanese mezze this place is ok otherwise I'd chose somewhere else in the area... especially on a cold winter day.

Tasty food, delivered in a timely manner. Nice atmosphere for all types of visit. Good food options to cater to everyone's tastes, although a bit oily, just a little bit pricey and unwelcoming staff.

The place was super busy and outside was really cold. We had to wait for more than 20 minutes at one of the tables outside. After getting a table inside we weren’t much better there as the entrance door was being opened and closed constantly.

I went here with my partner and the food was amazing. Delicious authentic Lebanese food - what more could you want?!

Turned up on spec for some lunch. We both chose what looked like being the most Lebanese offerings on the menu and were not disappointed. Lovely flavours, great taste. Loved the desserts. Thanks!

Nous nous sommes arrêtés là en sortant Du science muséum et vraiment nous ne sommes pas déçus . Très bon accueil . C’est la première fois que nous mangions libanais je ne pourrais donc pas comparer mais nous nous sommes régalés . Épicé mais pas trop . Endroit sympa aussi pour la décoration avec tous ces bocaux d’épices et ces sacs et paniers à vendre .

From the outside Comptoir Libanais look like a great find. The service was a bit slow, but they had lots of people eating. Our food was acceptable, but not nice enough to go back again given the prices.

Cena con alcuni colleghi. Ambiente caratteristico orientale, belle le borse appese che decorano il locale. Personale professionale ed efficiente. Ottimi piatti tipici libanesi, ben presentati e cucinati. Bravi !

The venue is very colourful and nice, staff absolutely friendly and careful with the clients. Rich menu, it offers choices for vegetarians and not. We had some starters and the tagine, good prices for the quality.

My mother and I have very restricted diets due to food allergies. The staff was so kind and accommodating, Cristina made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was relaxed, the décor made us feel as though we had momentarily escaped the airport, and the coffee was fantastic. Many thanks!

Fast and furious atmosphere with a good range of Lebanese dishes. Not sophisticated though and the staff, although friendly, were in a hurry for customers to pay the bill and get out in order to fit more diners in!

Se cercate un posto dove mangiare velocemente tra una visita e l’altra dei numerosi musei presenti in zona, Comptoir Libanais è il posto che fa per voi. Rumoroso, odoroso, colorato, il locale è veramente un pezzo di Libano a Londra. O almeno credo considerato che in Libano non ci sono mai stato... abbiamo preso un wrap falafel (ottimo, peccato per il pane un po’ secco) ed un sandwich con formaggio tipico affumicato (non male). Buono anche l’hummus di contorno e soprattutto il tè alla menta (delizioso). Nel complesso molto soddisfatti anche considerando la media dei prezzi di Londra...

We went there as a family. Great ambience. The starters were excellent. We ordered 7 dishes and each had its unique taste; and well presented in a brick coloured claypot!! The lamb tagine was superb. The service was great. Tasty sumptuous meal!!!!!

Came in here around 9pm on a Thursday night when there wasn't a lot around still doing food. We were seated straight away and the service was A1. Drinks and meals arrived quickly. The food was really good with generous servings. There is plenty of choice on the menu to suit all tastes.

We had plenty of choices though we are vegetarian. Portion sizes great ! Delicious freshness of the Tabouleh, Hummus & the rich Mango Cheesecake!

First time in The restaurant , I've been out with friend on 2 of December for a food and drink, we had amazing food , delicious coquetel make by Ronnie. the bartender was very polite and funny, 10 stars for this gentleman.

Well located near Gloucester road metro station. Beautifully decorated restaurant, clean and colorful. Nice menu and very good prices. Friendly staff and very good service. Highly recommended to eat or take away, also very good to go with kids.

A lovely delicious Lebanese take on traditional English breakfast. Veggie breakfast was yummy, flatbread, mushrooms, egg, traditional beans and haloumi and lush potatoes! Recommend!

I cant fault the staff as they were lovely but some food was really nice but other dishes werent to my liking. The atmosphere was fantastic though. I would go again as it was a complete different dining experience.

Visiting the area I was looking for a restaurant for lunch. The Comptoir menu looked interesting so I went in. The tables were packed closely together but the food was delicious and made up for the cramped space. There was a good choice of food on the menu and despite the restaurant being full the food arrived quickly. There was take away food for anyone who required it. I enjoyed the food so much that I shall be going back when next in London.

Thursday lunchtime and very busy... 10mins waiting time unless wanted to sit outside but too cold despite heaters. Order quickly taken and excellent fresh food arrived within 15mins. Staff friendly and efficient and priced reasonably

Lovely food. Always tasty, using fresh ingredients not skimping on nice fresh herbs and salads. Very nice. and helpful staff.

I attended the ‘Comptoir libanais’ at Westfield Shepard’s bush today and I was disappointed to see that the allergy booklet was giving false information. As a member of staff had to interrupt and explain that the chicken wrap did have dairy, as the chicken was marinated in a sauce that contained yoghurt, however the milk box on the allergy menu was left unticked.
