Lazy Pickle in Southend-on-Sea

We have been using Lazy Pickle for literally years - and I can’t believe we haven’t left a review so far. Burgers are always a good size and great tasting - moist and toppings - yum - rosemary chips are so good. The last couple of years they have introduced pizzas - unfortunately they don’t do a skinny base but on the plus side the pizza toppings are plentiful. I ordered ham and pineapple with a request of jalapeños- delivered without a problem. The other thing - when you use their website to order, there will be an estimated time of delivery if you select asap. Our orders are always early and the delivery staff are so friendly. We’ve never gone wrong here - couldn’t recommend more highly!

Food was brilliant, hot fresh and tasty would recommend to anyone, I have had a few different meals walkways good and tasty

Ordered from here as a special little treat. I went for a chilli dog. It was delicious, but not exactly very "chilli". The chilli seemed to be mostly onion and very sweet. Fortunately, I quite like that kind of thing, but it wasn't exactly what I expected! The dog itself was perfect and the bun was soft and delicious. Overall the food could have been hotter (especially as the premises isn't far from us).

Randomly found lazy pickie on a search of near by places , thought give it a try after reading reviews , so easy to order online , great choice on menu something for everyone , we had blue burger , chilli dog , angry fries , kiev fries and few sides . Nice touch was a quick call to say order is coming maybe 10 minutes later than expected not a problem at least we knew. When it arrived greeted by a Friendly delivery driver , food look good and tasted great portions are huge burger fantastic hot dog was so tasty will definitely order again and will spread the word best take away we have had in a long time!

We heard about lazy pickle from a friend and we decided to try it. The place is delivery only but it's free!!! The food was of great quality and was fresh and hot. We were impressed that the delivery was very quick. So this is definite place to order from. We will most certainly order from here again.

Had a delivery from here tonight and yum!! Burgers and chips were lovely! Good quality meat used and all delivered hot and fresh! Tried them for the first time due to being recommended from friends and will deffo use again and pass on the recommendation! They also quoted an hour delivery and delivered within half hour!! Keep up the good work!! Thank you :0)

I don't normally review takeaways but this place is really worth a try. For a burger I was impressed. We both had burgers and I had coleslaw and my hubby had chips. I am fussy on coleslaw but liked this one. The chips were a bit soggy but I think that's just how it goes with take-away. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

Absolutely stunning hot dog! Had the gunslinger and it was great. Excellent quality meat. Chilli was spot on. All toppings worked well and there weren't so many that it was impossible to eat. Was exactly right. Followed that up with the 3 cheese fries and the chipotle dip which is OUTSTANDING. Can't recommend enough! Thanks for a great meal

We live just around the corner and thought I'd give last pickle a go, the burgers where very nice the chicken goujons tasted very nice to as did the onion rings the only thing that was not very nice was the chips we ordered 2 different portions as they have a wide choice but but the chips where undercooked and still hard which was a shame

Ordered here for expected delivery about 8:05 when no food turned up we tried to call the restaurant and find out where our food was but there was no answer!! About half 8 we got a call from them asking if our food had been delivered which it hadn't! Apparently the delivery driver had run away with our food and they had no idea where he was!! They said they were going to re cook it and re send it. Which they did. We had our food delivered an hour late, all we got was a sorry; no discount on future orders, no recompense, just words. The food was nice but nothing exciting.

There are now so many places offering gourmet fast food, but few genuinely deliver. This place doesn't mention the word gourmet at all in its menu, but it has every right to do so. The burgers are up there. Quality of the patties is top notch, nice springy brioche buns, super fresh lettuce and tomatoes. The condiments are equally impressive. The habanero sauce on the 'Angry burger', for example, is home made, devilishly warm and absolutely delicious. The hot dogs? Well the sausage is meaty. None of that water logged, plastic foam meat here. Real German style dogs. I've been twice; slowly working my way through the menu. Can't wait to try the Philly cheesesteak! This place is a must and deserves to do well.

To have a burger of that quality delivered to your home on a Friday night is just pure luxury. Really hope this place does well. Finally some decent comfort food in southend. Looking forward to trying more of the menu. Hot dog next!!
