Lazy Bones in Islington

Over half of the other tables gave up waiting for their food whilst we were there. We waited over an hour for our lunch (4 burgers), when the food eventually turned up it was wrong (salad instead of a burger in one case). Complete lack of apologies or updates from waiting staff. Pretty shocking.

Food took a long while to appear so we were miffed to start with. However, the real let down was the size of the portions. Don’t order a starter, the BBQ burnt ends were no bigger than a table spoonful and you get 4 thin sticks of prawn in the firecracker dish. With the bourbon short rib you get coleslaw but it’s a teaspoon of it in a metal tin sized for a dollop of ketchup. Definitely got Christmas Scrooged! Will be telling friends not to go.

As an establishment who pride themselves on slow-cooked meats, they are well and truly giving a new definition to the term. The service was exceptionally slow and food quality low. My ribs came out with the texture of jerky, minus the flavour. Sauce was absent/burnt onto the ribs and led me to douse them in ketchup in order to mask the lack of taste and awful texture.

Stopped by for afterwork drinks with some friends. A nice bar tender helped us to choose the best cocktails! Extended food menu and the manager made sure my allergies were looked after! Really nice place, tidy and clean toilets ( on a Friday evening) We will be back!

Enjoyed a lovely lunch here last week sitting on the terrace in the sunshine. The salad was delicious and it’s the perfect spot to hide away from the busy high street. It’s not too pricey, got a good lunch deal and the sneaky cocktail wasn’t too bad either. Will return.

Does what it says on the description. Good, tasty, lively food.

Been here a few times for ribs or a burger ... nice place although smaller tables are not that comfy and bench like seating, food is not bad at all its a trendy burger place with a kind of latino effect

Never has any of the large group bookings I have to arrange been as easy as it was with Lazybones. They gave us service all evening, and every one of the staff were super friendly, the food was fantastic (Please get the chicken wings) and preordering not a problem, drinks - the best happy hour going. Thanks for a great night Lazybones, see you next time!

£18 bottles of Prosecco during happy hour is really something

The food here was average, and would have been a 3 star (average) review if it had not been for the fact that a mouse ran across my foot as we were sat at the table! We reported this to staff who were entirely nonplussed. The friend I was with was particularly distressed as she has a fear of mice, and saw it run across the floor. We thought that we may have been offered a discount as a good will gesture, but we were charged the full amount and staff did not seem at all surprised or concerned that there was a mouse in their dining area. Will not be returning and would not recommend.

Service was great but ribs were quite dry. A mouse ran about the restaurant while we ate.

Once you’ve managed to find this place, it seems like a great find. Looks good, concept is simple and effective and there’s no real reason this shouldn’t work. Firstly, I don’t know if the heating was broken but this was horribly uncomfortable and literally everyone sat with their coats on. Nothing was mentioned by staff, no explanations or apologies. One or the other would have been good. It was snowing that day; the door doesn’t close properly and again, when someone left and the door was left sort of wedged open, the staff seemed content to leave it. No sign on the door, no effort to close the door. Just contentment at the stays quo. The service was slow and questionable. It’s a fairly small menu, our waiter triple checked everything and came back to check again twice. The food was nice but all in all it was a weak experience.

Prices were wrong on the menu and only when I came to pay and question it did they say it is wrong on the list. Avoid, just another place looking to rip you off

Visited with two fiends and had the Buttermilk Chicken burger which tasted fantastic. I also had sweet potato fries and a lemonade which totalled to £19.00 with service included. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

I had met some friends here for dinner last week, and overall was a mixed experience. Staff themselves I found were nice, the decor was pretty basic and seating was a bench/hard table style. The food itself was a real tale of two halves. We got the 12 wings sharing platter to start, 4 of each flavour, which we really liked as the wings were very flavoursome and meaty. For mains we got some burgers, but in all honesty whilst they were fine, they weren't amazing or didn't live up to the hype of "you must go here if you're in Farringdon". A nice selection of bottle beers on the flip side, but overall, OK. Probably wouldn't rush to visit again, but if I did, would go in with more realistic expectations than this time,

Apparently this is the place to come in Farringdon if you have no regard for food or booze, but do want to scream at your drinking companions. Don’t go.

A group of 6 of us visited for lunch. Service was average / OK but reason I am writing the review is that I order a large caeser salad with chicken (£12 ish!) - It came out really really average with just 3 pieces of chicken. When I suggested that wasn't good enough for £12 the manager said "Well you are in Farringdon" and "Thats the way we do it" !!!!! She did give us some free Nachos but they were not great. Wont come back

Went for a lunch work as a member of staff was leaving. Ordered drinks and food- fine. Drinks came and were flat so we asked for them to be changed- staff reacted rudely and abrupt. The mains came- fine. The bill came out and we were overcharged by nearly £20. We called over the waitress and she was rude and patronising and got another member of staff to come over with a calculator out to add up our meals- but she was still wrong! She mentioned she forgot to charge us for a soda water but she put a £7 service charge on the bill. We asked her to remove this so we could tip the amount we felt necessary- she gave my colleague a filthy look and walked off in a hurry. Another member of staff came over with the bill and said that the service charge was removed but the soda water has been added. Overall, a rude and unwelcoming experience- my first time here and would not go back or recommend to anyone else. Very disappointing.

Met friends here on a Thursday night for our pre-Christmas get together. Working around Farringdon you are not short of superb venues for dining or drinking but this was a first visit as a result of the usual prevaricating and compromise. I certainly can’t complain about the atmos. Were I 30 years younger this would be a great venue. This is an age thing and if you are in your 20-30’s I would heartily recommend it. I’m, however, at that stage in life where I don’t want to have to second guess the thread of the conversation with my friends because the background noise is so loud I can’t quite catch everything. This is not a criticism of Lazybones. I’m sure they are delighted to be so busy! Great bar, really nice staff and although we only sampled a small selection of the food (which was perfect on the night) I wish I had been a bit more creative with my selection of burger! No where’s my walking stick?!

I went for quick lunch some days ago. The burger was one of the best I've ever had in my life! The service was quick and very friendly - especially Bambi. I personally met and thanked to the head chef Karolina who also recommended some of the other dishes for the next time!

Nice place if you want to go out for a quick one on Friday night or meet your friends. A huge variety of cocktails. Happy hours.

Vinimos aquí para el cumpleaños de un amigo. Happy hour, que termina a las 8:00 pm, es aparentemente una buena oferta, pero TEN CUIDADO: a pesar del hecho de que estábamos en el bar de espera para ser atendido por el escaso en 7 bar vergonzoso. 45:00, cuando finalmente nos sirvieron a partir de las 8 de la tarde nos dijeron que mi hijo dormido feliz había terminado y que nuestras bebidas sería el doble de precio. El barman había visto esperando, y tenía repetidamente sirve alguien que mantuvo añadiendo bebida tras bebida para nuevos clientes que no había cola. Luego salías sin molestia para decirnos que ya él había priorizado un jersey cola no nos servirá. Pedimos hablar con un pesebre, esperando que alguien que tomaría una estrategia de sentido común, pero parece que él era el director y él se negó a utilizar cualquier discrecionalidad política vergonzoso de rectificar su establecimiento exacerbada por su propio fracaso para poner suficiente personal. No volveremos. Evitar.

Voy muy a menudo lento huesos en mi descanso para comer, la comida siempre es agradable y la hamburguesa son increíblemente hecho, he disfrutado de sus perros calientes también. Lo único por qué este lugar no completo estrellas es por el hecho de que encontré un pelo en mi nachos una vez, pero que aún no me ha disuadido de totalmente no volver.

Fuimos para comprobar la Pascua almuerzo con 10 compañeros y el servicio era muy pobre. Habiendo sido servido nuestras bebidas y tenía órdenes tomadas nos dijeron que la comida tardará 30 minutos, 50 minutos más tarde estaba bien pero que finalmente se convierte. 2 minutos antes de la literalmente comida se convierte a uno de nuestro grupo me dijeron que era de Spare Ribs el menú y su comida era retrasado aún más. La comida no era fantástica y muy caliente. No me impresionó - lo bueno es que hay un montón de otros restaurantes en la zona.)

Fuimos un grupo de 6 rango de edad 21 - 50 en una noche de viernes @ a las 7 pm. Estaba tan ocupado, pero habíamos reservado, así que estaba bien. Parecía que sólo será una camarera muy estresados y ella hizo lo mejor. Era tan ruidoso en lo que tenía que gritar. La comida era completamente normal, sin duda nos esperaba mucho mejor. Dudo que vuelva, hay mucho mejor en la zona de Farringdon

Grabbed a few drinks here on Friday night with some colleagues. Place wasn't rammed, despite it being in a great city centre location. The staff were friendly and fast and there was a relaxed, happy atmosphere. I love the decor and the food on the table next to us looked tasty! Would love to go back.

Made a booking over the phone and spoke directly to the manager (John). Booking was made with ease and allowed us flexibility on the numbers up to the day of the booking. The service and food was tasty and well cooked. The price was well balanced . Nice venue and staff very nice and friendly.Its a really nice place to visit and you wont be disappointed. Could not fault anything on the night. Just a big thanks to the staff at Lazy Bones for a lovely evening.

So let's start with the facts. I ordered wrong & wasn't impressed with my choice & had food envy with everyone else. BUT...we had booked for 12 & arrived with 15 & the manager asked other customers to move about for a couple of beers on the house..class. The service was impeccable, amazing menu & drinks. My choice of the brisket had just one tiny slither of meat?? Very disappointed but EVERYONE else's was superb. Nachos & prawn starters, Baby back & short ribs in a cracking sauces, works burgers, buttermilk chicken, they were all loved by my pals! It would have got 5 stars if it wasn't for mine, maybe they were low on brisket? But I will definitely be back!

I have been here a few times after work, the food is pretty good, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed worth a look if you're in Farringdon looking for somewhere to catch up with friends.

Lazybones is hidden away in Farringdon but worth a visit, especially after work for half price cocktails.Food is basic American diner fare - chicken wings, nachos, chilli cheese fries - but decent enough to soak up some of the aforementioned cocktails. Only criticism would be the music was slightly too loud on this visit making conversation quite difficult at times.Will certainly visit again as the vibe is laid back and friendly.

Was walking to my hotel and thought this place looked ok down a small ally, the place is pretty formulaic i.e. gutted building, exposed services and old style tables and chairs.Placed my order at the bar and sat down, did not have to wait too long, for my food, which although was frozen and fry fayre, was not too bad, it was a bit expensive for what it was, but this is central London.For once the Hot Dog was edible and the chilli and the cheese was not a sauce so a thumbs up, but the cheese chips were skinny chips from a bag and were -well uninspiring.I did not sample the drinks save an apple juice, however, the place had a good vibe.Would I go back again - yes if passing and I did not fancy something else.

Called in for lunch yesterday and ordered the cheese & bacon burgers - very tasty and well presented. They don't come with chips though so these have to be ordered separately. Lovely friendly staff - price standard for the location. The music being played was very intrusive for lunchtime though - some poor sod screeching his out-of-tune head off. We probably would have stayed for another drink except for that.

We ordered some wings and fries, just a few between six of us. Food came and was fine.We chose or mains and went back and were told the kitchen was closed. We explained we were half way through the meal and that no one had told us last orders.Staff responded the manager said the kitchen is closed.No warning, 1 minute past kitchen closing time, ignored six of us, was more interested in cleaning up. Poor way to treat customers. Will not be going back.

Visited the place with friends. Lots of people, great music and a good relaxed atmosphere. The burgers we had were brilliant, but other types of food is available.Service was quick and effective, and I will be going back when I am in the area again.

The vegetarian option was bland and felt like an after thought. You can find this type of veggie burger in any cheap pub around the UK (an uncreative store brought tasteless mess). I'm not sure what all those chefs in the kitchen were doing but it wasn't cooking; as my burger was COLD. Yes...COLD! My meat eater friend's burger was more like soup. The burger had so much juice it soaked the bun completely. It was also flavourless.

Overall good selection. I had a great burger and some pretty good nachos as a starter. I would recommend this place if you are near it!

Really enjoyed our visit here. Food was served very quickly and was delicious. The burgers were extremely tasty, well cooked and sides were great also. The reason for not awarding 5 stars was that the draught lager wasn't to my taste at all, but the burger more than made up for it. I chose not to give a gratuity when paying as I didn't think it necessary in a place where you order at the bar, however by the time we'd finished, I wish I had have given a gratuity and will do next time. I'll definitely be back!

Good for some cheap dirty burgers and a few beers with friends. I'd go back for a casual hang out. Not very busy for a Thursday late lunch. Staff were friendly enough.

I've been here a few times with a friend that works locally. The food is constantly good and the service is prompt and friendly. But all in all, it's just another American-diner selling burgers, wings and pulled pork. For the money, you really can't go wrong, it's just not exceptional or original. Wouldn't recommend for dinner but more for lunch.

A few work friends and I visited lazybones this lunch time (as its national burger day). As we entered we were promptly greeted and sat down with menus and water, which we thought was a nice touch. Although it was fairly full the waiter was quick to take a drinks order and in formed us that there would be a long wait for food. He was not kidding about the wait, which considering how busy they were was very understandable. Once the food did arrive it was full of flavour and cooked to perfection (I had a medium rare cheese and bacon burger). Saying that one of my colleagues had the pulled pork and said it wasn't as nice as it normally is. Overall we all enjoyed the atmosphere and thought the staff were very good and would definitely return just earlier so we don't have to wait so long.

Visited lazybones with a friend for drinks after work, we were lucky enough to time this with happy hour! After a few drinks we decided to look at the food options available, as both my friend and I have food allergies we spoke to the staff about alternative options and they were able to adapt a few dishes for us. Would definitely visit again, hopefully when it isn't raining so we could take advantage of the outdoor seating.

I came here with a friend, and was quite surprised at cool and quirky the place was. It was packed too, with a real good buzz about the place. The wings & burgers were really good and tasty without being overly pricey either. If you're around the Farringdon area, would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Worth a visit if you're hankering for some large chicken wings, covered in sauce spicy enough to make your balls tingle. There's plenty enough in the x8 wing order (you can have 4, 8 or 12). These are big wings - you get the wing and the drum in one 'wing'. So when you order 8, you're actually kinda eating 16, if you are only used to the small variety served in sports bars and the like. They aren't served crispy buffalo style, the skin does have a good fry to it though.Chilli fries are also awesome. Plentiful, enough to share, and the chilli is spicy.The burgers and dogs looked nice on their way over to customers from the hatch - all the food looks well cooked and well rounded.Cocktails are tasty, a bit of a price to them but the location of this gaff, and quality of the pour can justify that. Just if you go in for a quick lunch and have 5 cocktails and loads of wings, you might end up spending more than you set out.The seating is unique and plentiful. Large wooden tables with cast iron swing seating, stools on arms that swing out from under the table. Staff are friendly and the food arrived quickly.

Riding on the american diner/slow meat fad that has been in London for a while now this place does the same old same old but just really badly.Bad food, bad service and bad drinks selection. It is also expensive. It isn't uncommon to stand at the bar with an empty restaurant and no staff to be seen. If you are in the area and want a burger go to Byron, if you want hotdogs and beer go to the sports bar and if you want funky atmosphere go to one of the Mexican places and if you want quality meat go to Foxlow.

The food was so delicious especially our hot wings with blue cheese sauce.Huge beer selection which was perfect for our big group, and all the bar staff were super helpful when I was trying to choose!The atmosphere in Lazybones is a perfect mix of relaxed and stylish!I will definitely be coming back with friends for more wings, beers and delicious cocktails! ☺Thanks so much for your help and being a great host for us!

With the help of John (the manager) I arranged an informal company gathering. On a very short notice, Lazy Bones were able to accommodate around 40 people. Serving food and drinks in the evening. Service was good and chicken wings are the winner!Definitely recommended!

Good points: Meantime lager, pulled pork was good (but not enough in the sandwich)Bad points: Not one of the waiting staff had a sweet clue what they were doing. We order cheese fries, just got regular. Ordered the burger medium, it came up well done. Ordered three pints, received three half pints. We had to go to the bar to pay after waiting 20 mins. Watched the staff argue amongst themselves about another order they messed up. We sat surrounded by crumbs on the seats and floor from the night before (we arrived early so I doubt they were there from the actual day), table where also sticky. Nobody asked if everything was OK or if we wanted more drinks / desserts. If the owner wants (or cares) to know why this place is only a quarter full on a Friday lunch time then go to Byron a couple of doors down to see where you are going wrong, it was heaving.

I organised a catch up with friends here based on reviews but didn&#039;t realise that this venue was really a very noisy pub which served food. Thank goodness I reserved table!<br />There was a nandos style service but without the courtesy, self service all the way but without anyone actually giving any instructions. <br />We ordered an appetiser and main meals and these all came together- cold. When I asked the server he said I should have asked for them to be staggered. Well, I was staggered by that reply and complained to the manager. this meant waiting around at the bar with my food getting even more cold as the bar was rammed and the manager serving. <br />He apologised, reiterated that that was their style, exchanged some of our cold food and gave us a free bottle of prosecco. I am not sure my comment that they should inform customers that an &#039;appetiser&#039; really only means a side dish will be taken on board. <br />All in all, not a good experience really. <br />The food was nice and spicy but this was marred by the poor service. <br />Probably a nice place for an after work drink with friends you want to shout at but otherwise - nah!

Went here on a Friday night and it was a bar full of city workers and not what I was expecting from the info I'd seen online. The staff were very good and the food was nice enough, but there are much better places nearby to choose over this

Very nice place and with the right atmosphere , but if we have to mention the customer service is poor , inexperienced waiter that were printed fake smiles for tips, dirty uniforms , me and my partner saw two mice running in the floor , not I can only imagine what was in the kitchen . Cocktails of poor quality and old fruit as seals . Slow service and cold food . I would not recommend to my worst enemy.

Great food with really great service. It was quick and attentive. The food I ate was well done and full of flavor. I got the chicken wings which were really well done.I would recommend anyone to visit here whether it is on a lunch break or just exploring the area.

Food is delicious although ever so slightly too expensive. Don't expect any service whatsoever and you'll have a great meal.

I booked Lazy Bones thinking it was a casual restaurant for dinner with friends. It *is* a casual restaurant, but very much a bar vibe (I expected a MeatLiqour type of venue). Our table was high bar stools rather than properly seated, but these tables are available. It suited our evening, it just wasn't what I'd expected. The cocktails and wine were reasonable. We all chose a variety of sliders and cheese chips, which were all very good. The sliders were super small though, we should have ordered more so a little guidance would have been nice. Overall - the music was funky, food was comforting and the service good. Great night

Great location if your drinking in the area after work and with the lure of 1/2 price cocktails who could miss the opportunity... HOWEVER i would avoid this place when they have happy hour as the staff simply cannot cope with the demand, id like to point out that it wasn't overly manic but they struggled to even put out 3 drinks in less than 15 minutes ! You couldn't possibly justify propping yourself up at the bar thirsty for an hour waiting on drinks !The staff move at such a slow place, you get bored watching them. I think that if you are going to offer such a popular offer then you need to have the staff that are able to cope. Such a shame as its a nice bar with ok food and close to work . Cant say i am tempted to go again .

I have been here twice and both times I enjoyed, however my most recent visit was disappointing.The atmosphere has lost its charm and the service now seems clinical and scornful - a complete reversal.I can see the direction they have tried to go in, and the refurbishment looks good; however you can go to nicer places that are better value and have a great atmosphere - I used to tell my friends about this place all the time but I won't be going here again anytime soon.Visited January 2015

We recently had our work christmas drinks here and the staff were very friendly. The manager was very accommodating throughout the process of booking our party. The cocktails did take a little time to make, but worth it with their happy hour. My colleagues were very impressed with the recent refurb that Lazybones has gone through and are completely in love with their swinging chairs! I have since eaten here with american guests who praised them for their burgers. This is definitely becoming our local watering hole!

With a team member leaving work we booked (through email) a table for 20 on Friday lunchtime and confirmed each meal that was required (by their request). We turned up on Friday and they claimed to have no knowledge of us, even as we showed them the emails. We were then rudely placed outside and the food took an hour to come. When it did it was small portioned bland fare, that came to a whopping bill. They then charged one of the party for the entire bill as we tried to split between a few people. Will not be back.

I've been here 3-4 times and its never quite been up to scratch. On the face of it, you really have high hopes for this place and the food looks excellent when it arrives, but it just doesn't deliver on taste.I can't figure out why. Maybe its because they often have food ready to go, which means some form of reheating is in order and that can kill food pretty quickly. It's just always so bland and lifeless which just kills it when you're expecting a juicy beef or friend chicken burger. Seriously KFC manages to crank out better flavour in their chicken.As a place to eat quickly then it works, but it's just bland and somebody needs to take 5 minutes to check the seasoning!!

As an American living in the UK I look forward to trying out places that offer things like pulled pork, brisket and proper wings. I was excited to try Lazy Bones and a friend and I went along after work for dinner. We ordered our food at the same time (at the bar, no table service) and my pulled pork sandwich came out within 5 minutes. However, my friend ordered a burger which came out about 15 minutes later. She told me to go ahead and eat as she did not want mine to get cold. I had finished my sandwich by the time her burger came out. We also ordered the wings which are billed as double cooked which made me think they would be lovely and crunchy/crispy on the outside. They were soggy. Shame!! My pulled pork sandwich was not very nice. The meat had a really strange aftertaste and the slaw was pretty lackluster. I guess for the price I should not expect anything mind-blowing, but still it was pretty disappointing. Oh, and I had a Sam Adams on draught, but it was a bit flat. Should have just gotten a bottle of beer.

I met some friends here for an after work catch up. It's really close to Farringdon station so quite convenient for all of us.It's just off Cowcross street, hidden behind Leon's.The venue is quite atmospheric and picked up as the night went on. Would highly recommend for after work get togethers.We ordered some food - I had the chicken burger which turned out to be a bit bland and mushy, one of my friends had the brisket which didnt look great and he said it didn't taste great either. Our other friend had the pulled pork which he said was quite good though he had had better.If you're looking for good slow cooked/bbq American food I'd go to Bodean's instead but this place definitely wins on atmosphere and setting.

I have visited Lazy Bones a few times and have always felt a little short changed by my meal. The food is quite expensive for the size and I have always felt hungry after the meal.The only upside is the fact they have a very well stocked bar with a variety of American beers.

Service at this restaurant has been slow and poorly organised all three times we've been, but we came back because the food itself is cracking. Well seasoned and full of flavour. If you're not in a hurry and don't mind having to keep an eye on what's going on with the procession of food coming out so you can spot errors, then it's good eats.

Went for lunch during the week and despite the crowded chain restaurants located nearby, Lazy Bones was surprisingly empty. Guessing it hasn't been discovered as yet.Food was great and atmosphere was chilled. Great lunch and decent value.

Visited with a friend for a quick bite. Two burgers took 25 minutes to arrive. They were plonked down on the table on a tray. And left like that. No attempt to remove tray or bring cutlery or napkins. Won't be back.

I work round the corner and we visit here every so often for our coveted "Burger Wednesday". Ordering at the bar, you essentially build your own burger with quite a lot of options available. The burger itself is damn tasty, especially with pulled pork topping. The wings are huge and come in three or four different flavours. Because of their size it can take forever for them to cool, but they are trying hard to see Bodeans on the wing scale.Have to give it minus marks for price, something like £7 for 4 wings where you can get a lot more at say Sticky Wings. And once you start adding toppings to a plain burger it start edging towards the more eye watering end of a score (£20).I'll be back here for sure, just not before pay day.

Southern US comfort food - much copied, often contrived. This cracking place, however, is an original. Fun, comic strip style interior with crazy good, authentic US-style food. Pulled pork is unctuous and true to the classic sandwich and the beef brisket is amongst the tastiest I have even eaten. There is a lot of love in their food. Wings - hot and tasty. The beers - mainly American - are great. Sam Adams on draught? Now you have me. Also a very relaxing place to hang out, round the back of Cowcross Street in the middle of cool Clerkenwell. Visit this place. Its awesome.

My partner and I ate here after work yesterday and we were very happy with our meal. We sat outside and enjoyed a bottle of prosecco with 25% off as it was happy hour. We ordered the beef philly, pulled pork, BBQ chicken wings and smothered fries, which were all really nice for the price. The BBQ wings had the nicest sauce I have ever tasted. Food cost £26. Very good casual dining experience. Would eat here again.

I have been coming to Lazy Bones regularly for the last year, and have loved the friendly and bubbly atmosphere, fast service and the fact that you can almost always get a seat for you and your friends! Lots of choice of drinks and they do great American style food if you want to eat too. If you're looking for a spot to sit outside and/or smoke - here's a great choice as it's tucked away from the road and you can sit down!

The WINGS! At first I thought the price was a bit steep but still ordered 12 wings...when they arrived, they literally were the ENTIRE wing...not hacked off sections of a wing...the ENTIRE wing!!! It was hot, juicy and succulent; the meat fell off the bone...the "hot" flavour was properly hot (not lame British hot) might stick to BBQ next time..Also had the beef brisket w/ guacamole...delish! 2 drinks, 2 mains and 12 GIANT wings...more than enough food for £40!

Un cool endroit entre pub et restaurant fast food dans un quartier attrayant. La carte propose des plats plus ou moins épicés mais toujours délicieux. La viande est bien cuite et bien préparée. Bonne ambiance et personnel sympa pour ma part. Pour finir le repas, un Chili mojito étonnant mais bien fait par Alister , un barman talentueux ! On reviendra lors d'une prochaine visite à Londres c'est sur.

I ate here with a group of work coleagues, about a dozen of us. The atmosphere was lacking as the place was very quiet when we arrived at about 6pm. Considering that there were so few cusomers, the service was slow and lacklustre. The food was good and, when it finally arrived, hot and tasty. There were a couple of mistakes with our order and some people were missed, promises to put things right weren't really delivered on. Shame really because with a little more effort this could have been a great experience. Overall, yes, I'd go again but it wouldn't be my first choice and there are lots of eateries in the area.

My girlfriend and I ate at Lazybones tonight. Being just after new year and with the city being quiet in general we were the only customers in, but this didn't affect our experience. I had the pulled pork and my girlfriend had the brisket and we shared chips. All the food was extremely tasty, rivals bodeans!With a glass of wine and a beer the meal cost £30.Would definitely give it a go again!

Had pulled pork burger chips and orange juice. Chips were delish, burger was alright, not my cup of tea but was nice. Orange Juice tastes odd (gone off?) though.

much more than a burger bar (though I had a burger) - can't wait to return to go through the rest of the menu. not that cheap if you just want a basic burger - but very reasonably priced for the quality of the food (their burgers are certainly not basic)

lazy bones has a great vibe to it. quirky, diner-esque decor. I've visited a couple of times and tried most of the meat-based dishes on the menu. The chicken wings are amazing - i went for hot wings and they were delicious. Perfect level of spice. The beef brisket is also great and the pulled pork good but not the best i've had. the chilli dog, on the other hand, is pretty disappointing. not as much flavour as the other dishes. The chips were also disappointing - quite undercooked.

I was extremely excited to try the newest to London’s gang of American/BBQ style joints.
