Laveli Bakery in Ealing

I have kind of got used to the lady who works there being moody all the time but my experience yesterday morning was horrible! There were no labels in the display so I told her the ingredients of the sandwich that I like. Instead of telling me that "it is no longer available", she picked one for me, cut in half, put in the toaster and then told me that it's not the one I want. Also, the look she gave me when I simply asked to toast my sandwich? Like I just killed her whole family! There were other customers waiting, I did not want to start the day negatively, so I did not say anything. Then I could see that sandwich was not placed in the toaster properly, so it was only burning the ingredients. You could even hear the grease burning. Then she handed the sandwich over to me, and I showed her how burnt it was. Got a new one obviously but then I noticed that there was mustard in the sandwich which I don't eat, what if I had allergy to mustard? Don't they know how dangerous is to sell random food, without informing customer about the ingredients? Unbelievable....I will never go to that place again.

The hot drink was meh and the service was appalling. I'm half French and used to moody servers but this felt more like contempt. There was no earthly reason for the lady at the till to be so surly as I paid for my purchase. Later, when I tried to close the door against a wintery 7degree exterior, the barista lady told me not to as she was hot. Incredible! I reminded her that I was a paying customer and would prefer the door shut so she suggested I put on my coat. Oh, and its Bûche de Noel, not Bouche. A French 'artisan bakery' wouldn't make that mistake.

I really like this little coffee shop but it’s the rude staff. The lady that’s always there just seems very unhappy to serve anyone. I only go back for the coffee as it’s actually really good. But the staff 😅😅

One particular lady who’s unfortunately always there (now dyed her hair purple) is the rudest person I’ve ever been served by. She acts like you’re an inconvenience by being a customer and gives horrible dirty looks with no manners whatsoever. I can only assume she’s the owner because who would employ her? I only go because the coffee is actually amazing and try to support independent but will have to boycott in favour of Starbucks at this point...

Tampoco hay señales de gel de manos, limpieza de la mesa o un código QR de seguimiento y rastreo. Será mejor que lo pierdas hasta tiempos mejores.
