Lasan Indian Takeaway in Babergh

Having just moved to Shotley we tried this amazing Fish & Chip / Indian Takeaway for the first time after our long journey up from Somerset. We rang to place our Order and was told it would take 30 minutes as everything is cooked fresh. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner who was very friendly. He clearly loves what he does and has a fantastic business. The Indian food we received was absolutely amazing. The flavours were some of the best we have ever had and the chicken in our different dishes was the most tender and succulent we have ever eaten. We can’t wait to try some more dishes as well as the Fish & Chips. A highly recommended place to get authentic Indian cuisine.

I recently tried the fish and chips from this takeaway, and I was pleasantly surprised by the use of 100% vegan oil for the chips. While staying in Shotley Gate we decide to try the Lasan Indian take away. A great selection of dishes to chose from. The food was delicious. Piping hot and freshly cooked. One of the best Indian meals we've had in years. We'll definitely be ordering again. Highly recommended.

Camping in the area we visited twice. First night was fish and chips which was very good. Second night was curry which was also very good. Recommended

Best Indian food we had w a British twist! Fantastic employees- from taking our last minute booking during our stay till the very end of our goody experience. Vicky agh has taken a fantastic care of us! Honestly Delicious food and welcome friendly team! Can only recommend!

We have had indian takeaways from here many times over the years but this time it was really not great. Our food was barely warm and the dishes were appropriately half full, lacked flavour and wasn’t very enjoyable.

Just had an absolutely beautiful takeaway from here. Food was succulent and well spiced as well as in generous portions. . Staff are super friendly, I would highly recommend this little gem.

Great little Indian takeaway, Indian menu is excellent they also do a full chip shop selection. Staff are very friendly well worth a visit.

Came across this Indian takeaway and fish and chip shop whilst looking for somewhere to buy fish and chips near to the marina, where we are based. The fish and chips were freshly cooked and good quality. Returned the following day to try out the Indian menu and were not disappointed. Excellent quality food and great value for money. Staff friendly and helpful. Located just off the main road through Shotley, this is a real gem.

Brilliant Indian takeaway. Does the best bombay potato I have ever tasted. 2 person meal for £25.00 is excellent value. We have never been able to eat all of it. You won't be disappointed.

We tries Lasan after hearing many good reviews as we are new to the area & was not disappointed at all. Excellent food along with great service & polite staff. Definitely be returning! Thank you for making us feel welcome too!

Serving a full Indian menu *and* a fresh fish and chip menu, there's something for everyone! The team are always incredibly friendly and polite. We're lucky to have such a great takeaway on the Peninsula!

I like the idea of having an Indian as well as fish and chips all under one roof. Spoilt for choice!

The fish and chips are cooked to order and are delicious. Portions are generous so if you have a small appetite go for a small portion. Staff are very friendly and do all they can to be helpful.

This was our first visit and the staff were really helpful and very polite. A new dish was recommended and it was delicious, will definately be going back.
