Been coming to lassans since it opened , ten years of loyalty , excellent service , excellent food , couldn’t recommend highly enough, if you haven’t been you are missing out !

Came to this restaurant to celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary (last minute booking). This restaurant is a BYOB (didn't realize this at the time but will know for future). The food was amazing. The staff were very good and were very knowledgeable when we asked questions on the dishes. We had a good three courses with poppadoms for £50 which is very reasonable. Will certainly come here again.

Another great meal. Never fails to impress, fantastic food and friendly atmosphere. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

We have had takeaway from here a few times which was great, so we decided to eat in for once. We went during the banquet offer, which was fantastic value for money. Every dish was delicious and you could tell it was freshly made. We had mushroom puree and chicken shaslick for starters. Then we had chicken jaipuri, lamb salon, onion rice and keema naan. Everything was excellent. Jay our server was so friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend enough, will definitely be returning

Staff are always attentive. Great food. Can be a little noisy when it’s full, but great atmosphere. Bonus you can bring your own drink. Makes it an easier to afford evening out.

As a 35 year curry veteran, from London to bum this was probably one of the very best curries we've ever had! Everything was superb, we had a Pathia, two Biryanis and a Korma with all the trimmings and teh quality, flavour & service was second to none. If you are in the area, it would be a crime not to give this place a try!

Went to thos place on Saturday evening we had heard good reports . We ordered our food but we didn't have a main menu .the waiter got us one but he stood waiting for us to order which puts you under pressure to choose something.the food come out it wasn't overly hot and the rice I had was microwaved as you could tell it was all clamped together and it was that bad I wouldn't go again.i would stay away from that place much better Indians in this town

Back to Lasaan after a couple of years away and it was as good as ever. Great food, great service - despite being slightly the worse for wear! Good stuff guys...

I visited Lasaan Indian restaurant last Thursday with 3 friends. We were all looking forward to a good curry. We were not dissapointed. The service was excellent and the food outstanding. We will definitely revisit.

I ordered a dish that had chilli in the description and was "sitting on a pepper sauce", the special... when it came it was sweet and tasted of a dipping sauce for the popadpms which was sweet. I was told I ordered a sweet sauce. Very disappointed.

First and last time . Takeaway absolutely inedible . If I was offered a replacement I would refuse . I will chalk it up to experience . DJA

Have been a customer for ages but after last nights takeaway I felt I should give a review. Was just gorgeous - hot, tasty, on time and just delicious ❤️

Had a take away think it was a bad idea ,was told it would be 2hrs delivery ended up being 2 and half hrs . Not the the full order as some missing but too hungry to complain and couldn't wait another 2 hrs to get missing food. Will not be using again

Fantastic food. Have tried as eat in, but most recently as takeaway. Poppadoms were great; really fresh and crispy. Had a Brinjal bhaji as a main and can’t recommend it enough for a great veggie dish so tasty. Nans breads also really good. Have had great food ‘eating in’ the past, reasonably priced and good atmosphere with friendly staff.

Another fabulous take away. Great bunch of people who run this place and food never disappoints. Return again and again and again

So disappointed in our meal. I’d read the reviews about this being an award winning curry house and couldn’t wait to try it. Did not live up to expectations. We had madras and it tasted as if it was just in a passata. No flavour. We also had boiled and pilau rice and had a very off flavour. Almost as if it was damp and not fresh. The biryani tasted like Chinese 5 spice. And something we ordered was very watery. Honestly, one of the worst curries if not the worst I’ve ever had. Will not be going back there.

Decided to try this local busy restaurant but wouldn’t rush back.Food ok but a long wait for our order and when it came it wasn’t exactly hot and there was zero customer service from our waiter. He even started to clear plates away before all members of our party had finished!They need to smile and be more welcoming. Will try somewhere who appreciates our business next time we get together.

A regular for our family, we love eating here as it is so consistently good. Lovely staff, very tasty food. Look forward to visiting again soon.

4 golfers chanced on this place after a day at Church Brampton and were blown away . Didn’t realise it was “ bring your own booze “ but supermarket is next door - happy days ! They supply the glasses . They were very friendly and super efficient and they kindly squeezed us in at prime time ( 8pm Saturday) . Poppadoms and chutneys were superb . We tried the sharing starter which was first class . Everyone raved about the various main courses we all tried - King Prawns especially. We will certainly return next time we are playing in the area .

Without doubt the best Indian around. Friendly staff willing to discuss dishes that may suit you based on what other you like. Plenty of room, nice décor, bring your own alcohol etc. Give it a try!

The food at Lasaan is amazing quality and reasonably priced ( about £7.50 - £5 for a range of lovely looking food ) the service was impeccable with an extremely friendly and helpful staff who help with identifying gluten free foods. We found the restaurant after retreaving a glider who landed out during the Bicester gliding competition and were very pleased to find the lasaan which has very good parking out the front, enough to fit a gliders trailer . Overall we believe that the restaurant was lovely and would definitely suggest it to anyone ( the butter chicken and and onion bahji’s were delicious )

Had a fantastic meal at Lasaan. The restaurant was fully booked for a Thursday eve but the staff accommodated my party of 3 by giving us the best table in the house by the window.

Recently visited this restaurant for a family meal. As I work away, I tend to eat out a lot and am mainly disappointed by the restaurants that I visit. I was far from disappointed at this one. The food was amazing and the prices were reasonable. I will be making this my regular.

Vast menu, so something to suit everyone's taste with excellent preparation, presentation and service. Un-licenced, so bring your own booze - they'll provide glasses etc. at no charge. This keeps the cost down but it's not overpriced anyway. Have visited several times and will return again.

Wonderful food, the best naan bread I have ever had. Great service, lovely restaurant friendly, clean and we will be back again. Only negative was the frozen cheesecake we were given, however it was rectified quickly and the unfrozen cheesecake was very nice.

I live 5 minutes walk away so come here regularly as the food is always bang on. We arranged to come here as a party of 14 for NYE and was a hit. Food amazing as always, great service also. I have never ordered from the menu and always go with a recommendation from the chef/waiters and they have never let me down. We have a takeaway couple of times a month and it's a bit hit and miss! I ordered the korma and it was just like water! There was no thickness to it, and the taste was ruined. The chicken didn't taste fresh. Maybe because it's a saturday? Has it been frozen? I didn't eat the chicken. It's so disappointing as we often buy from here because it's easy to walk to. I've had much tastier dinners from here during the week nights.

We had three course Christmas dinner for six adults today.

Lasaan seems to go from strength to strength. The food is always outstanding and the staff are delightful, both friendly and efficient. The menu is varied and extensive with some unusual dishes and the greeting always warm. Reasonable prices too. Book a table, you won’t be disappointed.

We visited as a group of 8 on a Monday night and couldn’t believe how busy the restaurant was!

Never had a better Indian meal: Prawn Balti with garlic naan bread, A delight to the taste buds.

We have had takeaway from here several times in the past but not for a while. Having organised to see some relatives, we thought it was time to treat ourselves to a place we have always said we would go as frequently pass it.

After driving past this place loads of times we decided to try a takeaway meal . Service was prompt over the phone and ready within 25 mins plus a discount for paying with cash ! Once back home, the food was still hot and filling and will try a meal in the restaurant the next time

We regularly visit this restaurant, and also use the take away service if we are feeling lazy we decided to go for our anniversary meal and as usual we were really taken care of the staff are lovely and friendly, the food is delicious and we never have any issues ordering something that is not exactly as described on the menu, (being vegetarian we get starter dishes as mains replace chicken for paneer etc) nothing is too much trouble and always feel comfortable and welcome in this restaurant :) will continue to visit as much as possible :)

we regularly have a take away meal from Lasaan, we have eaten here in and out for the past two years and never been disappointed. We had another delicious meal last night and my son, staying from London, thought it was amazing value, once again thank you.

My mum is diabetic and we ordered a take away for 7.15pm which was confirmed. So she took her insulin ahead of that time. At 7.30 pm the food had not arrived so I called and was told it would be a few minutes but 15 mins later still not arrived but the app had updated to say delivered. We rang again to be told the driver was stuck in traffic but we only live a few miles away so didn’t belive that. Turns out they had one driver on and it was busy. If that is the case they should give more realistic delivery times or say no to taking more orders. The food was good when it arrived. But has put me off ordering again.

Greeted by a young waiter, friendly but clearly struggled to multi task or make clear recommendations from the menu. We ordered water, which he ended up buying from the next door shop though we were still charged £3.95 for a large bottle of volvic water.

I recently went to Lasaans and the food was lovely, I have ordered takeaway before and have also been pleased with this. The staff (only waiters) were extremely friendly and attentive and ensured that we were happy with their service and our meals, which we were. However, the management spoke extremely rudely about their waiters, despite the owners simply standing by the bar all night whilst the waiters run around on a busy night and try their best to ensure everybody is happy. It was ridiculous and I felt so bad for them when you could see they are working their best. Clearly they don’t value their employees, which with the effort and work they put it, I think is completely disgusting. I won’t be attending again, despite the lovely waiters and food, until the management rethink their strategy and realise the way they treat their employees is completely wrong and degrading.

Late night visit, great food and good service from the lads in there! I would highly recommend giving them a try!

I ate here on Sunday 6 May with my wife, our eight year old son and a friend who lives nearby. It wasn't particularly busy in the restaurant for a Sunday night, but there was a good trade on takeaway orders during our visit.

I was unsure at first whether to take the risk of eating at this restaurant.I had a very long and busy day and did not really have the energy or time to check it's reviews online.I interrupted a couple that had just finished their meal to ask them if it was a good place to eat.They gave me some assurance.I then noticed the quality look of the dishes coming out of the kitchen with the waiter and decided this was a safe choice.My order was very high quality and tasty.I am very familiar with indian cuisine and really know a good indian.Today is my 3rd time in 2 weeks visiting this restaurant and i will return again and again when i am in this region.Oh and the music is spot on.very neutral and pleasant.I was shocked when i received the bill at the affordability of my order.

Another meal at this small Indian restaurant. The food is great and certainly the best in the area. The service was a little slow this time due to staff level, but I can excuse a 'one off' as service is normally good and the food was worth waiting for. They also do take-away which is equally good. It is a small restaurant so suggest you book. Give it a try.

4 of us popped in here on a Wednesday evening 7pm only to be told they were fully booked! That's a great sign on a Wednesday. We persuaded them to give us a table as we promised to be out by 8.30.

Came with the family for my birthday. As ever great food and value and always well looked after. By bringing your own drink it really shows in the bill. I always recommend the Laasan to friends as the staff always provide great service.

Popped into lasaan last week for a quickie week meal. We brought our own beer/wine which brought down the cost considerably. The menu isvery comprehensive and the food was all well presented - the Madras and passanda were particularly tasty. However the aloo dom was disappointing. More like Bombay aloo with some peas chucked in. Overall a small well run restaurant. Am sure I will return. BTW I picked up a take away menu on way out the menu is as comprehensive as the dine in option so will definitely give that a go. It says free delivery within 5 mile radius

A lovely little restaurant, with tasty well cooked food and very reasonably priced, make sure you book ahead as it can get busy. They don`t serve alcohol so take your own.

Good value well cooked meal. The chance to bring your own wine makes for a cheap meal. Efficient staff.

Two hours for home delivery within half a mile not good enough. Food ok but not more than that. Won't be bothering Again. There are other, more reliable restaurants nearby. Dissatisfied

Haven't been to Lasaan for a while so it was lovely to be greeted as an old friend. The food was as excellent as ever. Beautifully flavoured curries, with the blend of spices expertly mixed. The menu has changed with the addition of new dishes and some unusual options. We stuck to our normal favourites - though I will be more adventurous next time (which will be very soon). Fair prices, freshly prepared and cooked food, great service; what's not to like. Well done Lasaan, keep it up.

Popped in here with no booking on a Monday in July around half past six. There was only a family of 3 so no rouble in finding a seat.The place is bring your own alcohol so the waiter kindly brought over some glasses for our drinks and a bottle opener for us to crack them open.I opted for a Mixed Kebab starter and my wife went for the Butterfly King Prawns. I had Tandoori Raj King Prawns with Keema rice for main with my wife opting for Chicken Korma and Special rice. We shared a Keema naan.My prawn curry had a few large prawns in it but it was packed out a lot by vegetables which was to be expected when the main ingredient. The sauce was thick and mixed well with the rice. The naan bread was also very good to help clear the sauce up.I was told the Korma lacked flavour and the chicken wasn't of the best quality so this dish wasn't finished entirely.For all the food listed above as well as poppadoms the bill came to just over £30. This was okay and I was happy to pay that amount. The service was average and the food was average so I've got no choice but to rate the place 3/5. I won't be rushing back.

This place really is a little jewel. For such a small restaurant with, presumably, a very small kitchen it produces beautiful food. There were four of us dining and everyone cleared their plate - and it was very reasonable in price too. I will certainly be back.

Food still good but the service was not! Despite the restaurant being virtually empty we were shown to perhaps the worst table in the room - assuming all others had been booked we kept quiet. The service was incredibly slow considering their were only 5 of us in total eating and by the time we left no other tables were taken. We did mention it to the waiter - the sole waiter initially -and he claimed he was "very busy" - yes, with deliveries and takeaways!! The people at the other table sent their food back because it was cold. This is not what we expect and we have stopped using other Indian restaurants for this reason - l hope this was just a "blip" on a Bank Holiday.

Have been to Lasaan many many times and have always found the staff friendly and the food of the highest quality. What appears to be a growing trend is giving up your table for others. What should be a relaxed and enjoyable meal turns into "we can't have a starter or coffee as we have to be out by 8.30"Eight of us arrived at 7.00pm for our table. Settled down and all very well. However we felt we could not order a starter as our allotted time would run out. When there's eight of you, you want time to enjoy and engage in conversation. We were ready by 8.30, having missed the desserts only to find that no one turned up (as we would have thought) to take our table. All very rushed when perhaps it needn't have been....such a shame!

Very rarely order Indian takeaway, but thought I'd treat myself and the family. Ordered via just - eat (projected delivery time 60-75mins) and when food arrived 75mins after ordering it was stone cold. We were forced to line up in an orderly fashion to wait our turn to use the microwave. Once it was heated to an edible level in the microwave the taste and quality was pretty poor. Probably due to the radioactive waves I had to blast it with prior to eating. I telephoned and said that our food was cold and was offered 20% off my next order. Unfortunately there won't be another time. If you don't deliver food hot l, then don't offer delivery and don't take people's hard earned money in return. I wish I had spent my hard earned money on 2 4 1 co-op microwave curry, as in theory this was what our order amounted to. Shame, as heard good things.

Lasaan delivers every time and the Chef is always introducing new recipes. When you think they can't improve anymore they certainly do time after time. Max the waiter excels every occasion and has a tremendous memory for remembering details. Even the smallest little details... Very tasty food and served by a great bunch of guys!The takeaways are equally as good, Keep up the great work Guys!

Its a testament to this restaurant that it can be very difficult at times to get a table. When you do dine here it is probably the best in Northampton. Polite efficient service - food execution is spot on and the highlight is piping hot breads when the food is served. I would recommend without hesitation.

Have been encouraged to try this restaurant. Booked a table for my birthday treat at the 8.30pm sitting (they operate two sittings). Left my contact details at time of booking. Arrived promptly on Saturday only to be told they had no record of my booking so no table. We're not interested in helping us either. Told we could wait, but as the place was full and not many people had food informs of them we thought that wasn't an option. Not good Lasann and hasn't encouraged me to visit again.

Very good service, but rather brightly coloured food. Biryani was tasty but overcooked, veg curry very nice. Accompaniments to the pappadums were poor, mango chutney too sweet, mint raita a revolting colour, red sauce was ketchup! All in all a bit disappointing after a fantastic meal at the star of india last time out.

This is truly the best Indian in Northampton, everytime we go we get outstanding service, especially from Max who is an amazing waiter who really goes the extra mile for the kids. Food served hot and perfectly timed, the spice on each dish perfect even on my Phall that is mind blowingly hot when eating it, but the heat soon subsides and leaves a fantastic spice flavour. The kids have chicken tikka masala, one hotter than the other and they come perfect. The vegetarian main that the wife had of channa masala was so light and flavourful it was a real treat and a change from chicken or lamb. A must for all spice and curry lovers.

A lovely takeaway meal and great service from Max! Fab food and although they couldn't offer delivery, they were very apologetic and worth the drive.

Me and my husband visited last night for a meal for valentines day, we were looked after as usual, Max was there to greet us and kept checking back with us to make sure everything was ok, such a friendly man always helpful and smiling :) really great host ! we visit this restaurant regularly and will continue to do so

Having eaten here several times in the last two months, renewing my acquaintance with the place, it continues to be a very good restaurant for it's size and location (decidedly out-of-town). The food is superb, the service is generally very good - occasional falters when they are very, very busy.No license, so bring your own booze or visit the very well stocked Whitehills Supermarket next door!

Rushing us to pay?? Clearing away glasses that were not finished this was 10pm?!? When we came to pay individually I was asked to round up the pence on my credit card as odd numbers caused a problem with the banking?? Never heard such nonsense! All very strange?

Restaurant was very good 4 star, takeaway was poor 2 star, so I've marked it in between, one wonders if they used different chefs

Love this place (always take away) and have to agree with another reviewer, loses a star because of how long delivery takes, often ask us to collect but when u want a take away, you want it delivered! If you could improve on this, you'd get 5 stars :-)

Since moving to the new estate we have eaten in and had takeaway meals. On all occasions the food and service have been excellent. We will keep returning and recommending to our friends and family.

We always get our takeaway from here... food is always lovely! Looses a star though as there is always a massive wait on delivery.. as we like it so much we always collect!
