Had one of the gaucho burgers with sweet potato fries, this has to be my favourite burger in the bay! Highly recommend it’s delicious!! We was served by Racheal, great service, good prices, amazing atmosphere and great cocktails too! Thanks so much

First time on a 2 hr brunch deal ! Very poor service,slow to order first order took 45 mins to arrive ! Food was microwaved but palatable every time we ordered drinks we were questioned ! Won't be going again!

I am very disappointment my last visit to Las iguanas . Your restaurant offering a discount per person. However, when we went with friends and we asked the staff about the discount, and they told us it only applied to the table, not per person, which was very disappointing. Of course, we decided to change the restaurant. Because the prices are quite high compared to other nearby restaurants. This experience was quite frustrating, as we specifically chose your restaurant based on the advertised discount. I believe this is unfair to customers who rely on accurate information when making their dining decisions ;/

First visit. Food good , service excellent. Lots of choice of food and cocktails. Carl our waiter was very pleasant and helpful with gluten free choices. We will come back!

As soon as we got here we were welcomed and service of the drinks for the bottomless brunch was so quick. We can’t wait to come back. Special mentions to Scott, Tobias and Harry.. couldn’t ask for better service and the food was amazing.

A Taste of Latin America in Torquay! Las Iguanas in Torquay is a lively restaurant that brings the flavors of Latin America to the English Riviera. The atmosphere is buzzing, and the staff are friendly. Enjoyed a lovely lunchtime experience, although the menu was a bit pricey.

Good food and good service. Tried the tapas option and was really great. Would have given 5 stars but the Churros were fried in oil that fish or other food were deep fried in or was old bad oil. Have tried Churros Spanish style in Madrid and Mexican type in USA. I couldn't take more than 1 bite of it. Other than that the food was great and service as well.

We loved the atmosphere! Taylor Swift songs were played for pre-theatre meals as Taylormania was playing that evening. Lots of excited girls, sequins and fun. The staff really helped set the tone too and made it a great night.

We went for unlimited tapas on Thursday for our valentines meal and we were deeply disappointed, the table next to us were also doing the same and were receiving the dishes every 5 minutes or so. Whereas we waited for our first dish to arrive 30 minutes later, this was a common theme of the night. We order our next round and then waited another 20 minutes in which the waiter came up to us and asked for our next order in which we said we were still waiting for our one before this was then another 20 minutes until we got our previous order. In this time the tables next to us had received 3 other dishes we didn’t complain as we could see they were busy but wanted to see if we would get any apology however we asked for the bill and were treated as if we were in the wrong for being disappointed by our time there. I would usually enjoy my time here however being met with a lack of service and a rude waiter was very disappointing

Just left after celebrating my daughter and granddaughters birthdays. Scott our server was excellent. Very attentive at the table. Made sure we always had drinks. Brought bottles of water and some Mexican crisps which were very tasty. Waited until we were ready to order our food. There was 6 of us and nothing was too much trouble for Scott. Highly recommend.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a fantastic experience with Mark as our server during the bottomless tapas! From start to finish, he was on top of everything. The food came out quickly and was served hot, with each dish delicious and full of flavor. Mark made sure our table was always stocked with food, never letting us run low. On top of that, he was incredibly friendly, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. His attentiveness truly enhanced our dining experience. Highly recommend!

I’ve always enjoyed Las Iguanas. I moved away a few years ago and came back for one night recently. The standard is still just as high as it’s always been. The drinks are great, the food is amazing, but you cannot beat the service. Dion was so attentive and nothing was too much for him. Also the drinks made by Harry were wonderful, especially his own creations. If I still lived in the area I’d be here often, as I was before. Las Iguanas, you should be proud.

Was with my sisters for a catch up. Staff were so accommodating considering there was only a few of them and they managed to get to every table to give us all at least 3 dishes and dessert. Very friendly, polite and would go again,

We visited Las Iguanas to try their 'Bottomless Tapas' offer. At £15 per person, it has the potential to be great value for money; however, the food itself was quite average and not ideal for a celebratory occasion. The nachos were bland, with rubbery cheese and hardly any sauce. It felt like it was made with very cheap ingredients. While the deal promises 90 minutes, a significant portion of that time is spent waiting for food rather than enjoying it. We understand that this could be due to high demand, but perhaps limiting the number of customers would help deliver a more genuinely 'bottomless' experience. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and attentive. They did acknowledge the long wait, but unfortunately, this apology only came when we were settling the bill, making it feel a little redundant. Overall, the meal was okay at best, and if you are looking for a restaurant to celebrate in, an alternative may be a better choice.

We’ve been to Las Iguanas twice in two days, and honestly, I’d go every night if I could. On Friday, we shared the tacos — they were cooked perfectly. We actually cancelled plans at a highly-rated steakhouse just to come back tonight because the food, service, and atmosphere were so good. Scott, our server, remembered us from the night before and was brilliant — super helpful, cheerful, and welcoming. His cocktail recommendations? Spot on. Tonight we tried the honey chicken tacos and the chicken, prawn, and steak fajitas. They did not disappoint. The steak was tender, and the prawns were cooked to perfection. It was such a relaxed meal, and we even stayed for a nice chat and cocktails afterward without feeling pressured to leave, like you do at some places. The whole vibe is cosy with low lighting, great music, and fast service. Plus, the smells from the kitchen make you want to try everything on the menu. Can’t wait to go back!

Really great night out with friends at Las Iguanas last night. Excellent food with a really good varied menu, great atmosphere and service too. Our waiter Scott deserves a special mention as he was friendly, efficient and also had a really good memory for our orders. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable and I look forward to my next meal there.
