Las Iguanas in Glasgow City

This was my second vist to the restaurant,and sadly it will be my last . The food was very poor quality and value for money .

Visited the Glasgow restaurant for a night with the other half, promptly met at the entrance and shown to the table. Waitress (didn't catch her name sorry) was quick with taking drinks and food orders, and service was quick aswell. Food was amazing, shared a nachos then we had a fajitas stack and jerk bbq hunters chicken, very flavoursome and well worth the money. To top it off, we had a gift card which I had forgot to mention prior, but the waitress had a good laugh about it and showed her sense of humour. Very enjoyable experience, thank-you!

We were in a semi-large party and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Our waiter (unfortunately I didn't catch his name) was honestly so down to earth and provided some of the best service I've ever seen. This place is great.

Food was delicious and catered for my dairy allergy.

BART greeted us as soon as we arrived, and was absolutely incredible with us, he made sure we felt looked after and helped us decide on what food and drinks to order, and checked in on us to make sure we were happy at various points and helped us order more food and drinks. A great experience to definitely repeat

First visit for food which I really enjoyed. Liked the atmosphere, too, and of course, the cocktails.

Bart was a fantastic server; high energy very funny. Had a fantastic time. Great food.

We had a fanatic time, the food was good excellent, the atmosphere was vibrant and enjoyable and the pricing was very treasonable. Excited to come again!

The food was decent. No complaints. The service was actually terrible. When we arrived the lady told us the table wasn't ready and just walked away and didn't give us any instruction so we stood for 15 minutes at the bar and was ignored by everyone even though I asked if we could get a drink. Just ignored, no attempt to even smile. Then the lady came back and said our table was ready but we must be finished by 7pm. Who tells a paying customer to be out within 1hrs and 30 mins. Then we got sat at a walkway which was crazy busy with people constantly walking around our table. The atmosphere was very busy and very loud so we could hardly here ourselves talk but some people might like that. We like busy but it was to loud. I wouldn't return.

Bart , our waiter in the Glasgow Restaurant was fantastic.. funny , caring and very efficient..the food was gorgeous.as was the Cocktails .. . had a great Mothers Day out in Las Iguanas x

I personally like it here. The food is great so is the atmosphere also the service was great.

Good place for Mexican food, although I’ve been to more authentic Mexican restaurants.

Really enjoyed my meal her- went late on a Friday evening with a small baby and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. My meal was delicious and served fantastically- good value for money. Only let down was the mocktail- cost over £5 and tasted like squash.

Just perfect all around. Great food, heartwarming service and one of the best vibes you can get when going out for dinner. I wish we had some options with more heat, the chilli was fairly mild, but I get that that's not for everyone. Still very tasty though!

I paid £13.50 for this. It was not advertised as a side dish and all the key ingredients were missing. No quinoa, no beans, no chickpeas, no pumpkin seeds. Spend your money elsewhere, I'll certainly will. Shocking.

Food and staff are fantastic but drink really expensive. Prosecco is about £27 per bottle, that's one hell of a mark-up.

In for our staff night out, amgda was amazing with us and made the experience fun. Would throughly recommend.

Lovely warm welcome from the staff. Prompt service and the food and mocktails were delicious.

Went there multiple times, and I always get the peri wings, curly fries, and aioli (at least) and they were marvelous. I've tried the Fajitas, Taco platers, Burger (both chicken and beef) and they were smashing! I'm basically working my way through the menus now. As for the drinks, I and a pal always have at least a pina colada (fantastic) and a watermelon margarita! Service was stellar! Very quick and accommodating, and they are family friendly too!

Had a lovely meal and experience The staff were helpful and friendly. Even offered my partner, a mojito board to learn to make his own, this was offered free for his 40th, lovely touch

10/10 absolutely loved it the food was amazing and the drinks were fab!! Server Magda was fantastic and so lovely and spoke to chef nick to thank him for our wonderful food and he was equally as kind and informative about the menu and restaurant Will be recommending to others and I Will definitely be back 🤍🤍

Dived in for a quick bite to eat and boy was it quick! Service was prompt and the food and cocktails were muy delicioso! Can’t wait til next time I’m back in Glasgow. Will definitely visit again.

Always love coming to Las Iguanas. Great cocktails, fab food, although one of my favourite sides has now changed. Usually get the roasted cauliflower, which is dusted and roasted to perfection with spices, however on this visit, the cauliflower is now tiny little pieces dunked in a thick stodgy batter. So your getting half the amount of cauliflower and a bug bowl full of batter, to be honest it's unrecognisable as cauliflower.Very disappointing, these dishes are expensive for what they are, but usually worth it for the flavour, but not in this case. Bring back the original recipe. Cocktails amazing as and service with a smile from our bearded server, who couldn't do enough x

Was with friends and the staff were always observant if we had enough drinks, it felt so great to be looked after and the atmosphere was brilliant. We are looking forward to going back.

One of our favourite type of food and it didn't disappoint. The restaurant was packed so glad we booked but got served quickly. Food was nice (wish I didn't have the big late lunch) There's loads on the menu I'd like to try so will visit again.

Very big space with an impressive variety. Love the fact that they put calories on the menus. And if you check the online menu you can even find the macros for the dishes. So rare! So useful! Had 🐔 fajitas that were very tasty and fresh.

We booked here for our work Christmas lunch and it was a great success. The cocktails were great, food was good too, but the service was particularly exceptional. We had a large number of serious and quite complex allergies. The care and attentiveness was out of this world. With 13 people, it must have been a challenge for the team but they did really well getting all of our food out at the same time and hot. Would definitely recommend!

Monica was lovely. This was our first meal out since getting married and she was super friendly. Service was very quick and she was very attentive, always checking on us for drinks and making sure our food was good. We are very happy! And can't wait to return. Thank you! She even gave us a glass of prosecco to congratulate us which I thought was a lovely touch.

Las Iguanas offers a vibrant menu with an array of delicious options! I can't recommend their fajitas enough—sizzling and bursting with flavor. What truly made my experience exceptional was Bart's outstanding service. His attention to detail and hospitality truly elevated our dining experience. Service like his makes dining out truly memorable!

Decent grub but really slow to get fed. I appreciate staff that were on were doing their best but really should let us know the wait will be that long. Friendly staff, just understaffed.

Let me start off by saying, I dont go leaving bad reviews ever but the service and food waiting times were extremely horrendous that it had ruined all of our great expectations from this place. Had a 1hour wait for the mains and it was very bland. Cocktails were alright and the nachos were prob the best part. We asked for the bill and after a 15min wait we had to get up and go to the front desk and ask again. We understand that it might be busy and its a Wednesday but customer service is very important and I was not satisfied. I hope this improves.

My 1st time visiting. Certainly won't be back. A big let down after the family recommended it. Servicexwas slow and the food was look warm at best .One of the meals had to be re cooked.

The atmosphere is nice. Vegetarian options are good but they do not taste good at all. I can say less than average. I went there based on the reviews but it disappointed me. I wanted to order more but the tastes discouraged me. The service was good. We forgot our child's bottle and they kept it safe for us. Thank you so much. Appreciate it.

I expected Latino food will be reach in taste, sadly they have plain food. Learn how to use spices, please! Vegan options are tastless. decor, and staff are nice, drinks very, very expensive.

Vegan curry was plain and tasteless 2/10. side - broccoli was very dry, was meant to be with garlic, but I only could feel a little bit of paprica powder 0/10!!! Coconut panacotta was too sweet, although was the best of all. I tried that day 4/10. Will I be back? NO.

Been here lot's of time for different occasions and can not fault it. From the moment you enter the staff are happy to help and cannot do enough for you.

Getting me in the mood for my holiday in a few days wanted to have some Mexican food and it hit the spot. Katelyn was amazing very attentive to me and the multiple tables on a busy Saturday.

The food is delicious, the Bahian coconut chicken is simply heaven in your mouth, the service is very nice. We were celebrating my son's birthday and when he ordered churros and the waitress Katelyn gave them to my son for free! I highly recommend it. The only thing is the noise in the place, but it's Friday, so that's understandable

Food was absolutely delicious, we ordered 6 tapas dishes to share and every single one was amazing. Would definitely be back. We also turned up half an hour early on the off chance we could be seated early and they managed to squeeze us in. Staff all lovely and helpful.

Ok starter of chicken quesadillas, but the turkey enchilada was pretty bland and the dulce de Lecce cheesecake to finish was dry. also sat most of the night without a drink as one got taken away despite attempts to keep it ( was at opposite end of long table)

The draft corona is really nice, the waiting staff listen to your needs, but sadly the chefs dont. I was looking forward to some nice mexican food but was disappointed. Chilli tasted as if it was tinned, and the fajitas at £18 had about a £1s worth of chicken. poor show.

Fantastic restaurant. Food was amazing, and Katelyn looked after us so well. She really was a star. Definitely recommend for a lovely evening out with Mexican food.

Great food, staff were lovely, good time had, can't do better than that! All staff were closely well trained on recognising issues for someone with an allergy and this was the best service for this issue that we've had in a long time.

sorry but the food was not great. we had the nachos which were ok. prawns and squid I think had been from frozen - the sauce with the prawns was quite gloopy and suspect not freshly made. few opther bits and bobs were so-so. waiter pleasant and helpful otherwise I'm sorry eat somwhere else

Went there for a lunch date, they have a good lunch menu, service was quick and friendly but since it was overcast the restuarant was a bit dark which upset the atmosphere. Very good overall though, will be back.

We went on a Tuesday night, so it wasn't busy, but they do have a ton of seating. The atmosphere was amazing, and so did the interior. The wait on drinks and food wasn't too long. Food wise, I think it's a little overpriced for the quality and amount, but it's still good. The cocktails, though, are delicious. I definitely recommend the mango collins. The staff was also very polite

We had a great meal, reasonably priced, and didn't feel rushed at all. The server Katelyn was amazing and had great knowledge of the menu, highly commended for going the extra mile. A very enjoyable time was had by all, and we will definitely be back to try out the 'Boozy Brunch', which was very reasonably priced @ £32 (either that or £35, I can't quite remember). Considering there are 5 cocktails included in the price, that's a bargain 👌

Party of 4, 14:30. Place looks great and was busy, so had a good bustle about it. I thought the food tasted fine, but the portion size is ridiculously small for the price(This was main course, not tapas). I wouldn't go back. Service was fine, but food slow to arrive and asked to leave as soon as we were done as "The next table is here", so had to find somewhere else to go. A starter and a "mains" each, a couple drinks each,1 person only soft drinks £150. Steep for the experience.

Disappointing. Didn’t think you could go wrong with a chicken burger but las iguanas did. Dry and burnt. Chips were not good either. Wouldn’t recommend

First time going & I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Took advantage of their lunchtime offer, food was amazing, staff were lovely & attentive. Well worth dropping in, especially during lunchtimes if you'd want to take advantage while it's a bit more on the quiet side.

Brilliant service Food was lovely, our male server was a lovely gentleman a credit to your company. I work in hospitality for last 20 years and know how to run a business myself and would employ him in a heartbeat. Overall great service and amazing food, my son would like to express his thanks too for the best burger he had this year:)))

Our server Greg was brilliant and very approachable. Greg was also accommodating and had great communication skills. The food was delicious. Highly recommend this place.

We were a party of 16 for a 21st between ages of 11 and 76. Our server Cat was really attentive and impressively our food all arrived at same time. Everyone enjoyed their food too.
