The Langston Quays Resort is one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed at. It is directly on the harbour & you have beautiful sunsets that you can enjoy while taking a stroll. But what makes it exceptional is Elle'Jai & both of the Jess's that work there, they are the loveliest receptionists we have ever encountered, they are superb, always helping if there are questions or any problems arise. Elle'Jai has provided an excellent experience over the course of 4 months while my husband is down here for work every week, she continuosly exceeds our expectations & makes us feel special by going the extra mile!!

Lovely hotel. Undergoing a bit of maintenance but it's not intrusive and needs to happen so don't complain lol. Breakfast was lovely. Staff where brilliant too. Would definitely stay again.

Arrived here for a family wedding. Booked in online so hardly any waiting around. Staff were attentive and lovely - carried my case to my room, always ready with a smile and offers to help. Meals were scrumptious and easily altered for my wishes. I was given a wheelchair accessible room, which was brilliant, and the offer of a wheelchair if I got tired of hobbling around on my crutches. The sunset was spectacular on the evening before the wedding and the grounds lovely to peruse at leisure. Lots of chill out space to sit and natter and a well stocked bar. On the day of the wedding I was late because I couldn't find the lift, but a staff member came along and saved me, so I arrived in time to see the vows. More gorgeous food and some lovely speeches made the wedding meal lush and emotional. Then, after a rest, the evening shenanigans began, and as an old fogey I stayed in the bar, chatting, while most of the guests boogied well into the night. Really comfortable bed, which helped me sleep well. The shower needed a couple of minutes to warm up but was lovely and hot once sorted. Had a big smile on my face most of the weekend and felt very relaxed and refreshed as I checked out and said goodbye to family and friends.

Pretty Location. Unfortunately our room was absolutely disgusting. Wall light hanging off the wall. Chairs in room was filthy. Table had bits hanging off it. Dirty , dusty fans. Bathroom had a dirty sink and bath and terrible mould and rusted shower, metal. Dirty bed sheets. Thick dust on door frames and all lights. Dirty kettle and mugs. Walls and carpets had marks on them also. My fiancé went to use the bathroom opposite reception and it had human feaces over the floor. I spoke to reception a few times, we was told couldn't change rooms. I was asked to email whilst there images of our complaints which I did. Was only told if we return they would give us some money off , but as you can imagine we do not wish to return. Why would we !!! The restaurant was nice, very slow service in the evening although it was very quiet. Food was really good. If you book via groupon beware they use it as excuse not to compensate you.

Possibly the worst place I've ever stayed. Advised on check in that as I was leaving early each morning I could get breakfast from the list and it would be ready for me - "including a bacon or sausage bap" (receptionist quote). Came down in the morning to find no cook so nothing hot, and no disposable cups so I was given a mug and a glass with cling film on the top to take in the car - these were left behind. Meal was awful, first main went back as I couldn't get my knife through the carrots with all the effort in the world, second (lamb steak) would have gone back if the kitchen had still been open, it took 45 minutes between my first main and the replacement, for 50% of the steak to come back out my mouth and be left on the plate as it was so full of fat and gristle. The place was dirty throughout, the bath didn't drain, the "harbour view" was a "dumping ground view" in reality, and the lack of painted lines in the car park meant I almost had people drive into me twice. I try to think of a saving grace to justify giving somewhere at least 2 stars, but my meal was £68, I was told someone would talk to me about my experience and no one did all week. Then to top it off finally, I was asked to send the photos above to the team so they could review (and avoid this review!) and it's currently 7 days later and no one has bothered to reply! I wouldn't care, but (my fault) I left something there and was after it posted, and they haven't even told me a no. Avoid at all costs.

Didn't stay here but was given a voucher for afternoon tea so came here for it today. It was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
