They only do takeaway so atmosphere doesn't matter. The food is excellent, service super fast and portions are massive.

After using the Good View for 25 years it's unfortunately time to move elsewhere. Order was placed and a chicken chow mein turned up in place of a chicken chop suey. I called to try and rectify the issue, but to no avail. The phone handler said the problem was an issue I needed to deal with myself and quoted me another 7-quid to get the correct dish delivered... Not cool, not professional and quite frankly annoying. By my calculations it costs around £1.11 (using bulk buy organic ingredients) to make a chop suey and would have cost 25p (driving a 2L car) for delivery - total of £1.36 in order to keep a loyal customer. We will be moving to the Singapore Island or Lin's Wok, making our family and friends aware and not returning. Unfortunate, yet necessary. Oh, and the chicken balls were filled with stodgy batter.. Overall, food (usually) good, service not.

Phoned to place an order for delivery and was told around one hour for delivery. After an hour and ten minutes I called for an update and was told it would be another 40 minutes which would mean almost two hours for delivery! Understandably I cancelled the order and went elsewhere. I understand people get busy but I’ve never waited nearly two hours for a delivery from anywhere! To add insult to injury the Girl I spoke to had a bad attitude and wasn’t very apologetic

Nice food takeaway ready in a good time. parking near by. Still continuing to use COVID-19 distancing rules, feels a little alien now. Understand why but still feels a little uncomfortable.

Asked for no fish / seafood in dish ‘Singapore noodles’ … get home and dish has prawns throughout. Phoned to Complain and got told I should have made it clearer! Lucky I checked before eating or they might have seen a court room! If you have an allergen beware!

Rang and was told to collect in 10 mins 🤣 that was where it all started we then got it and got it back there was something off with the look of the chow main but I'm all about trying not to get put off by looks but when it came to tasting everything was greasy the crispy sheded chicken was over cooked and just crumbles with a funny taste again as did everything else, but I put that down to the grease I think, even the egg fried rise was greasy :/ how do you get rice that greasy , I really wanted this to work too because my Mrs makes me go to mandarin in Emsworth as its the best about but I told her she has to try something else as we don't live close enough for delivery anymore ... now she isn't even open to trying anywhere else so no I have to drive from cowplain to Emsworth because of this ... well done food veiw now my lifes been made alot harder than it needed to 👏

It was utterly amazing! The delivery boy (like my chips, large) was very kind when he came to deliver my Chinese to my door. Albeit I would prefer for a quicker delivery but the delivery boy was very apologetic for the lateness of the order. But it was very very good. The food was amazing Kung Pow Style fried rice, I wished that it came with a demo on that! Would've bean lovely. Would order again. My grandma was very happy with the pawn crackers! Hats off to you. 5 stars!

The food was great, with very generous proportions. The delivery was fast and the food nice and hot. We will definitely use again and would recommend to others.

I got the sweet and sour chicken, which was ok, the lemon chicken which tasted mouldy, the rice well that was under cooked not tasty at all, the chicken balls were soggy on the inside unfortunately the food looked better than it tasted.

I always use the Good View and is normally the best for miles. Tonight I asked for a beef curry, got home to find it was a pork curry. The dry pork was in the curry sauce without onions and peas. It was horrible and now in the bin. Even if I had ordered a pork curry it would still be in the bin. Hopefully a lot better next time and there will be a next time as usually the food is great

Incredibly rude front of house person taking orders and payments. Doesn't acknowledge that you are there as he is too busy playing games on his phone. Food is OK, nothing special

Haven't been to the Good View takeaway for a while as we were disappointed last time. A shame as it's walking distance from home. We were delighted with our order. It was delicious and plentiful, a little expensive but good quality.

Only Chinese me and my partner go too. We call up as we are only 10 minutes around the corner and by time we get there our food is done. Food has never disappointed us.

Staff are friendly, open when you want, easy to park in evening. Food not very exciting.

One of the best tasting chinese I have had. However they don't accept card payments for delivery over the phone which really is a pain. You have to either go pick up the food and then you can actually pay by card there or you have to have cash.

Been having delivered takeaways for sometime, and the food is always good and hot and plenty of it.

We have been using this takeaway for years ,but recently appalling ,delivery delays ,no apology, Missing items,and on more than one occasion totally inedible chips.we keep giving them another chance, But hey guys ,there's more than one chinese delivery company out there.just letting you know.
