Warm welcome, good coffee and delicious pistachio cake. A nice place to be. We were there on a reminiscing trip of the area, remembered from WW2 and the welcome could not have been nicer or more understanding given our great age! Two old dears treated with great patience and kindness. That mattered as much as the excellent goodies...

Very rude individual behind the counter (possibly owner). She pulled a face at my sandwich choice which seemed odd. Every question I asked she seemed to look at me like I was bothering her and was an inconvenience. Food was overpriced and tasteless and her attitude accumulated to an overall negative experience. If you are reading this, asking what sauces you have is not a strange question. Save your money and take it to someone who would appreciate it.

Staff here are very rude. Cakes and pastries look old and stale. When I visited today the radio was playing in the background- the radio was poorly tuned and I sat drinking my coffee accompanied by a loud crackling sound. When I asked if they could perhaps do something about the radio, the lady behind the counter raised her voice and shouted “what do you want me to do? Really, what do you want me to do?” I wish I had gone to the Costa next door. I try to support independent cafes but I won’t be coming here again

Can't think of a worse sandwich that i've ever spent nearly £5 on. I tried to eat it because I was hungry but I think I'd rather starve.

Do not go here. The food was absolutely terrible. They served us a breakfast with what can only be described at two day old hash browns worthy of being a paper weights at best. Massively disappointed with the whole breakfast, uncooked eggs, dried whole mushrooms and bacon that not even my dog could chew through I should have known to turn around when I arrived at the cafe and the lady behind the till was immediately abrupt and rude. Terrible customer service all around and no apology for the rubbish food. If you are in Richmond, I suggest you visit the costa instead of going in here.

Just popped in for a coffee. Was very happy with the service... and the coffee was lovely as well. The selection for cakes and pastries looked amazing too.

Well , the state of the cakes in here this morning . Dried up old rubbish like the non existent smiles of the two women serving in here today . Never again . You would think with a brand new Costa opened next door that they might try and bring a smile to the table . Waste of money

Panini wasn't that great for the price you paid. Asked for butter in it, didn't get any and the bacon wasn't that nice either. Service from the lady was average but she could of been a bit more happier. It was very quiet in there for a afternoon and I can guess why, use to be nice in there but seems a bit run down.

Having moved lately and going through the builders/decorators disruption we have been using coffee shops we have never before used. This is a lovely find. Great coffee - very well made - excellent fresh croissants etc. There is a lovely breezy rear yard and passageway. Very friendly staff. This knocks the spots off the other coffee experiences we have had. Am now a regular.

Popped in for a quick coffee while waiting for a friend on a monday morning. The girl who served me looked miserable as sin and didn’t crack a smile once.

It was a delight to eat at L'Amandine in Teddington, a good selection of fresh food is available, wonderful baguettes, great latte served by polite friendly staff. The rear garden is great for a summers day. Simply the best place to eat in Teddington.

Wuth its pavement seating and a small garden at the back, L'Amandine is a pleasant spot to pause on sunny days on the main road from Teddington to Kingston. Food portions are generous and of high quality, with daily papers and wifi available to enhance the visitor's experience. Service is generally prompt and attentive. In short, what's not to like?

Great place to go for lunch. They do the most amazing BLT baguettes. Ingredients all fresh, bread still warm.

A lovely spot by the river Thames in Richmond. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options are available. There is a wonderful range of hot or cold food and desserts. You can sit inside or out on the terrace. And there is free wifi! It’s a place that you could easily while away the hours in. And the staff are lovely. It can get busy at times, not surprisingly as it’s a popular location.

Stumbled across this restaurant when staying in the area for the evening. Waiter was extremely busy and working on his own but was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. We did not wait long and our food was extremely good (both had the Masaman curry). Would definitely recommend

Visted yesterday and found the cafe very overpriced - £5.95 for a sausage roll that literally dripped fat all over the table - you can get half a dozen much nicer ones at Greggs for that 😂 Chocolate cake looked good but at £5.25 a slice we gave it a miss, likewise £11.50 for a baked potato with sausage and onions. My latte didn't appear to have much milk in it (clue should be in the name) and the service wasn't particularly friendly either. Dirty crockery was piling up and not being cleared - I'm guessing they were short of staff. Hampton Court Palace is one of my absolute favourite places but this little cafe really needs some TLC.

In Waterloo, rude management, expensive and doesn't even taste great. You're better off going to Costa or Pret which is close by anyway.

We've just come back from a walk in the Park and a halfway break at this little cafe. What a gem! The owner of the cafe, Mario, was so friendly and welcoming. We had a nice coffee and yummy pastries. Highly recommend. Plan to return to try their homemade pizzas.
