Arrived today was told don’t normally allow dogs inside but as it’s quiet it was fine if we sat near the door, had a toasted tea cake which you toast yourself, only one butter as we started to eat a lady came over and said dogs weren’t allowed inside and there was a covered area outside, she did say we could finish our food and drink she was very pleasant but when you open a cafe in a country park people are going to want to bring in there dogs, next time we will go elsewhere where the dog is welcome.

This is a good place to drop in for a light lunch. It is primarily here for the people working at county hall but it is open to the general public. There is a good selection of salads to eat as well as hot choices and good coffee. Parking is in the vistitor area of county hall and then there is a short walk through the building. Just head towards reception and you will find it and there is also a park nearby which is good for a walk. It is only open Monday to Friday and it closes at 14:30 each day.

I was surprised recently to read one or two poor reviews of this takeaway so I returned tonight. I have to say the extra hot prawn curry rice and chips I had was one of the best ever although the salt and pepper chilli ribs were a little bit on the fatty side as usually they are first class. Overall I really enjoyed the food as did my wife. No way could you give it less than 4 stars.
